[8.0] "Jack Brisco was a prominent wrestler through the 60's up until his retirement in the 1980's. His NWA Championship Reigns were decent for what they were and his in-ring work was great for the 1970's. A prominent wrestler for the NWA and his legacy still lives on."

"One of the greatest technical pro wrestlers of all time, one of the greatest NWA World Champions. Just an amazing wrestler all-around.10/10"

[9.0] "I would give him a 10, but I have only seen the last 6 or so years of his career; that being said he was one of the best things going for that time frame (70's end/early 80's). Before I glow on about his ring work: is there a better voice in human history aside from Morgan Freeman? Jack Brisco died way WAY too young and would have made billions as a voice actor for literally anything, go back and listen to that voice! Smoother than peanut butter, more captivating than our solar system. Pardon the digression, back to the 'rasslin: Technically marvelous, mind boggling endurance, impeccable pacing & ring psychology. Took American professional wrestling to greater heights for another generation to build upon & that tag team of his with younger brother Jerry was top tier. Flaws? Not a good heel at all, didn't fit him whatsoever. 9.25 rounded down, I need to find whatever his "prime" was, because the twilight is gold."

[10.0] "Younger fans may have forgotten about him, and sometimes confuse him with Gerald, but Jack was the best clean-cut babyface of the 70s in the US, relying only on his technique. A gifted mat technician who was quick, determined, and with a lot of counters in his arsenal, his matches still hold up to this day."

[10.0] "For me, Brisco is easily a GOAT and with The funks, Antonio Inoki and Destroyer was one of the best wrestlers from the 70's, his matches were fast paced and with lots of counters which you don't expect from the 70's when the matches were always meticulous and almost half of the duration of the marches were one wrestler doing a headlock on the other. A match of Brisco is enjoyable and stand well even today, which means he was way ahead of his time. Definitely, if he doesn't deserve a 10 then no other wrestler deserves it. Everyone have the right to have his own opinion but ffs, rating Brisco below at least 8 just denotes a incredible lack of knowledge about wrestling."

[10.0] "ridiculous rating by a bunch of youngsters who have no freaking clue... would his style be popular today with the twitter brains? probably not... but in his day he was a headliner in the biggest and most popular territories he would goto? the nwa which was by far the most powerful wrestling group in the world made this guy their world champ because he had the credibility to make it work even in places they didnt know him. he was legit badass. he could show up and convince a fresh audience with a single match and he played both babyface and heal with skill. honestly people, if you havent done a little research in these oldtimers dont freaking rate them with your ignorance... it makes a mockery of the whole system and is a huge disservice to anyone that wanted to put some stalk in these ratings. some little flip indie guy who can corkscrew 3 times in the air with ZERO believability or credibility is not better than jack freaking brisco. anyone that rated him below an 8 should be ashamed of themselves"

[10.0] "Often regarded as one of the all-time greats, followed a line of great amateurs into pro-wrestling. developed his own brand of world champion in the 1970s. Brisco was the last straight babyface champ until Ricky Steamboat's reign in `89. Playing the clean-cut, young babyface who used technique to defeat some of the best or at least take them the distance . he was a very popular performer, noted for determination, quickness and tremendous ring skill. A tremendous mat technician, he headlined throughout the N. W. A. territories. due to his hard working attitude, professionalism, and most importantly, a vast knowledge of wrestling maneuvers & counters . he has been view as one of the greatest faces and most highly respected wrestler ever ,"

[10.0] "Wow, a lot lower than I thought he'd be. A fantastic mat wrestler, based on his outstanding collegiate background. A strong tag and singles champion. He was Dory Funk Jr's main threat during Funk's incredible run. Funk then fizzled out and lost to Race rather than Jack. That arrangement was always suspect, but Jack was a company man and took care of Race and had a strong run. He feuded with the Funks in singles and in tag team with his brother. He came to the WWF later in his career and could still mat wrestle. As if that wasn't enough, he forever changed the sport by discovering Hulk Hogan."

Deswegen gute 8 Punkte."
