122.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12037.0Billy Kidman was one of the best cruiserweight wrestlers during his tenure in WCW, who often showcased amazing high flying ability during those days, he also had his moments in WWE.
221.11.2023crs2857.0Kidman was a very good wrestler. Had an in-ring style that was perfect for Cruiserweight matches. Never would be a world title competitor due to his size and era. He also was alright on the mic but was not great.

1001.06.2023Giantfan19806.0I rate Kidman this high just based on his peak period of late 98 through 1999 WCW. Once the Russo era kicked in, he got exposed as not being very good on the mic or much on personality and got put into a lopsided and just flat out weird feud with Hogan. Got better when he went to the WWF during the buyout and was a competent cruiserweight contender. One of WCW's wasted talents during their dying days.

1221.05.2023Leth999.0Okay in the mic, good in the ring and can be carried with many amazing matches, but my high rating is for his revolutionary work as a producer with Jamie Noble. Those guys made WWE so much better in-ring wise and it's mainly thanks to those two guys

1722.03.2023benny5bellys6.0He was average personified. Nothing was particularly bad about him and equally nothing was particularly good about him. Alas he will forever be associated with the Hogan programme. Poor sod.
1819.02.2023WhatIsLooveee6.0Billy Kidman tried himself as a road agent and trainer, having previously been known as a gifted athletic guy, a member of the junior heavyweight division in World Championship Wrestling, which were a feature of the company and often stole the show, who later moved to the WWE, where he managed to have some success as a tag team wrestler, winning titles with Paul London, and as a solo performer. In the later years of WCW, his entire momentum was killed after the infamous feud with Hulk Hogan, but in any case, he was an important part of the New Blood stable, and consistently showed good matches, although he was not a particularly remarkable and charismatic wrestler, in my opinion. 6 points.

2514.11.2022MainEventMaster9.0Underrated junior heavyweight, got a chance to really show his stuff off in WWE after WCW closed, he was really good in late WCW, but cmon, its late WCW.
2611.11.2022MrRaider9599.0Kidman always was one of my favorite "cruiserweights" in WCW. I really started liking him in mid to late '97 when he joined Raven's Flock. His shooting star press is the best shooting star ever. It was picture-perfect each time. His matches with X-Pac during the invasion era for the WCW Cruiserweight & WWF Light Heavyweight titles are one of my favorite "feuds" from 2001.
2722.09.2022TheOneAndOnlyCactus7.0One of the top Cruiserweights in WCW that helped to make the division shine during the Monday Night War, he was not the best, but for a while, was an effective, likable face of the division so kudos to him.
2828.08.2022Conquistador377.0Never ever had good ring attire. I enjoyed his WCW career up until Vince Russo. Horrible ring gear the whole time though, from day one 'til the WWF buyout! Terrible red spandex start, terrible jean shorts end - and that homeless guy with lice look middle? sheeesh. Then when he went to the F/E, he pumped up on steroids and got really bottom heavy - and again his attire only made his arse look big. and... other things looked rather large. Digressing, sorry! Anyway, with the added 'roid bulk he became kinda sloppy and almost killed Chavo Guerrero. He's a'ight, the WCW stuff is best. 6.75 rounded up.
2922.08.2022KENTAfan9.0Changing my rating of him. I think Billy Kidman might be in contention for one of the most underrated, underappreciated, underutilized cruiserweights to ever perform in WWE. He was phenomenal all around in the ring, struggled with charisma early on but eventually, especially in 2004 when he turned heel, developed into a really interesting character too. It? s a shame WWE didn? t believe in him because he could have been something much greater if given the chance, he just never had an opportunity.

3811.09.2021Ma Stump Puller6.0Kidman had one thing that was over: the Shooting Star Press. Outside of that, his whole image and look was just terrible. The guy consistently didn't look like he even worked out until he was popping the roids in WWE and got pretty big, which while helping to fix that, went too far into bulking him up and made him even more likely to botch, which caused some rather infamous events where he would keep injuring people with his finish. He's solid enough in a class of some of the greatest cruiserweights of all time but I don't really see much in him beyond that, he's as plain as white bread with his personality and whatnot.

4104.07.2021juiceisloose4.0Kidman could work out a good match and was a good cruiserweight in WCW but that just wasn't enough. He had no charisma and had awful mic skills, he never sounded confident while cutting a promo. His matches were sometimes interesting to watch but the problem is that he didn't have an interesting character. It really doesn't make any difference if he's in the business or not since he is not memorable at all.

4620.06.2021Daigotsu7.0I was always a Kidman fan-- his look and connection with the audience was well at home in the old WCW cruiserweight division. His WWE run was mostly unremarkable, and eventually he'd kind of fade away, but at his peak I was a fan of his work.

5622.09.2020SSEighty76.0Pretty average in the ring, but was one of the first users of the Shooting Star Press, and at various times was very over with the crowd. Didn't have much charisma, and wasn't all that good of a talker, but he still managed to have a nice connection with the crowd despite that. His late 04 run as a heel in the WWE was my favorite. That was the first time he had showed legitimate character other than "spunky underdog babyface". Just sucks that at that same time, Kidman was gaining weight, and often botching a lot of moves cause he was still trying to perform his high flying style.

5913.06.2020THATSGOTTABEKANE7.0For someone who spent their career mostly in the cruiserweight division, Kidman is a well-known wrestler. His unorthodox shooting star press always made me cringed, in a good way. Also one of the most important rules in wrestling is that you NEVER EVER! Powerbomb Billy Kidman.

6713.12.2019JEK 19918.0Great high flyer. Had cool gimmicks as well. In WCW he was a break out star. In WWE he was a crusierweight champion. After he lsot the title he was never the same. He helped mentor Paul London. His career was short. He is a great trainer, road agent, and producer for WWE.

6926.07.2019KyleEnjoysWrestling5.0Probably best known for regularly doing the worst looking shooting star in the business & dating way out of his league with Torrie Wilson. But that aside, he was really not bad & offered a different look to the cruiserweight division.

7418.10.2018RatingsMachine7.0Kidman was a good worker, and a great high-flyer, who, like all of his cruiserweight ilk, bumped hard against glass ceiling in WCW. He jacked up for his run in WWE, but his ceiling there was likewise limited.
7527.09.2018Oliver95x7.0EIn gutes Move Set hatte er und wusste im Ring zu überzeugen. An Charisma hat es ihm leider gefehlt.

9530.06.2016The Chosen One6.0Billy Kidman was a very good wrestler and cruiserweight. He had some great matches in WCW and WWE. He lacked charisma but made up for it on the mic which he was very good at. I would rate him higher but he was dangerous in the ring. He injured at least four other wrestlers with his shooting star press and almost injured himself.
