| 16 | 30.06.2021 | Ma Stump Puller | 8.0 | Mossman was a lot better than I remembered him as: really reliable in his younger years despite getting into the business perhaps a bit too late before the NOAH exodus happened: when the main talent left, he was stuck trying to fill boots that he was never going to reliably do with the lack of experience he had at the near top. No, he's not a good Kings Road wrestler (ironic considering his real life and kayfabe persona as the AJPW loyalist through and through) he's not really much to talk about in the charisma department, but when he got the chance to actually perform to his expectations, he really had some great bouts in him. Man can throw brutal bombs and play the underdog perhaps better than many could today, and was a perfect role in his later years as a man facing the greatest odds and sometimes coming out on the bright side. Kea kicks ass, don't let people tell you otherwise. |

Although he was never the main event player they wanted him to be, he made a very fine career with some deserving great moments, like a short Triple Crown reign (and a win over Kawada at that line) and the Champion's Carnival. Also pretty good in tag team roles and as a stable member, as good a face as a heel. |

War nie als Ace geplant und wurde auch nie so eingesetzt, ist aber konsequent in den Main Event gepusht worden und vernünftig auf diesen Weg vorbereitet wurden. Hat in Anfangszeiten der „Neuen Ära“ in AJPW mit Kojima, Kawada und Muto usw. das Produkt getragen und war ein Garant für gute Kämpfe. Heutzutage verblasst er aber meiner Meinung nach ein wenig gegenüber der neuen Generation und sein Feuer und Wille ist nicht mehr so wie früher. Trotzdem ein toller Kerl und ein Wrestler den man immer brauchen kann. Er und ich wollen kann nicht wissen wie seine Karriere verlaufen wäre wenn er mit Misawa zu NOAH gegangen wäre. |
