410.03.2024Zak226.0Very charismatic and capable of a great match but he didn't deliver on that capability often enough. Obviously he also gets points for being a part of the most iconic storyline of all time and some of the most iconic moments of all time. His best work came as the intercontinental champion.

803.03.2024Conquistador375.0I decided to edit this and include some math to come up with a better understanding of how I feel about him in a numerical sense: His early career as a Magnum TA clone constantly sputtered and some of it was rather terrible (3). When he transformed into The Diamond Studd, he became his own man and I was instantly a fan. I wanted to see more of him but for reasons I do not know he was rarely featured (6.75). The Diamond Studd would later morph into unquestionably one of the brightest stars of the early 90's: Razor Ramon. I stand behind the Razor run (from beginning to end) as legitimately great and well worth reliving/rewatching (10). I completely despised the nWo angle and to this day HATE IT. hate hate hate! *stomps like Herman Munster* extremely turned off by that angle (0). 4.93 rounded up, had he never been a part of the nwo crap, we would likely see a higher score. But the nwo is one of the first things that killed my joy for wrestling and I can not stomach to relive it.
927.02.2024PositiveMirror11 An amazing competitor in his prime. You could give him a singles match and he wouldn't bore at all. He'd fill that part of the card just fine. Amazing presence, amazing persona, amazing everything.

1617.01.2024rgpick10.0The first wrestler I can remember that truly captivated me. The way he moved, talked, swaggered, he was perfect for his time and had a "cool" factor that few have ever come close to achieving. And that was before he helped create the NWO. One of the best and most important big men in wrestling history.

2622.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster120310.0Hey Yo! Scott Hall is one of the coolest entities in professional wrestling, it's a crime he never got the world title in any company he competed in. Mostly know him for his stuff in WWF and WCW, so I'm focusing on that. Debuting in the WWF under the Razor Ramon gimmick, where he basically did his own take on Al Pacino playing Tony Montana (great movie), and similar to that role, people were perfectly fine with a white man playing the role of a Cuban because he played his career to perfection and people grew up thinking he was Cuban (LOL! ). A man who was so cool, that the people loved him to the point that they couldn't boo him, he was that over that the WWF turned him babyface. Personally, the Razor Ramon era is my favorite in Scott Hall's career, often having the best work he's done having excellent matches with Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart for example, showing off his charisma, having excellent mic work, phenomenal character work. Sadly, the WWF didn't see much in him as a main eventer, but he did take his talents to WCW where he helped reviving wrestling's popularity with the nWo where he went by his real name along with Kevin Nash (fka Diesel). While the nWo did get milked out in WCW, there's no denying the magic that Hogan, Nash and Hall had in those early years, truly iconic. It's a shame his personal demons had a role in holding himself back from reaching his full potential, R.I.P. Scott Hall

4106.06.2023Giantfan19808.0Scott Hall had the look, the charisma and better skills in the ring than Kevin Nash. Maybe not quite as good on the mic but he had everything else going for him. Personal demons just kept after him for years and it resulted in a slow decline by 1998 that he could never break away from unfortunately. Looking back, the Razor Ramon gimmick was a little cheesy with the fake Cuban accent. They toned it down by 1994ish and honestly they never should have tried for a Tony Montana ripoff because how many mid 1990's kids would even understand that character? Founding Father of the nWo and the first member to show up on Nitro and declare war on WCW. At this point the WWF was in deep snot as WCW was going to beat them weekly in the ratings until sometime in 1998. One of the best Intercontinental champions the WWF ever had, but Hall never took the next step for the big belt. Probably bad personal habits made Vince unwilling to pull the trigger.

4721.04.2023face painted legend10.0Everything he done on camera from a character stand point, he had a way of going about doing it that made it cool. Whether that was the suave look that he had, the way that dressed, the cadence that he talked with, the swagger in his surf walk, the way he flicked the toothpick, the list goes on, he did it in such a way that it just made you radiate to him, and wish you could do it as good. All of his promos were done with a distinctive deliver (especially razor's with the tony montana accent), he spoke like he was speaking to one of his buddies, and everyone stopped talking to hear what he had to say. He always had a great mind for the business as well in terms of ideas, layouts of matches, the prowess, etc. There are several things that you can point to that has his finger prints on it that has longevity in wrestling - The crow sting, some of the early stuff of the NWO, the razor character, just to name a few. In ring work, he's up there among the greats as well for me because he always worked the camera, always found the best ways for them to shoot him in matches/during moves, all of his stuff in the ring was smooth, he made some of the bigger moves he'd execute look easy, his finish was always protected (no one kicked out of it), and he had some of the best working punches in wrestling.

5228.03.2023HumanJerky Scott Hall, Razor Ramon, the Outsider, this man went by many names and was great in every major gimmick he took on. Easily the greatest pro wrestler to never hold a major world heavyweight championship. That of course had much more to do with his boozing and much less to do with how over he was, go back and watch those old WWF episodes, whenever Razor is featured he gets one of the loudest reactions of the night. A great in the ring worker, he worked very tight, his stuff looked convincing and he had a great grasp of in-ring psychology that allowed him to connect with the crowd in about anyway he wanted. The man also dripped cool, everyone wanted to be Scott Hall in the 90s and with good reason. He had the look, the skills, the mouth, and was great in terms of the character work. A keen mind for the business really pushed this overboard. If not for his trouble with the booze, he likely has a much longer career, filled with many more singles titles than he had, but still, the rest of the package makes up for his lack of main event singles gold.

5713.01.2023benh29.0Scott Hall was a complete star. He looked absolutely amazing, he had plenty of charisma and by the time he became Razor Ramon he was excellent on the mic. In the ring he was pretty terrific for a bigger guy as well; pretty rough early on his career but he picked it up very quickly and was able to pace a match very well. Needless to say his punches were up there as one the best ever, as this is usually something where you can see how fake it is but Scott's were perfect.

6506.10.2022RavenCrow756.0For the most part I will be basing my Wrestler ratings on five criteria four of which are based on in-ring ability and the last on charisma. I believe these five criteria are pro wrestling's version of Tommy Lasorda's criteria of "five points" in baseball. For pro wrestling those five criteria are power, speed, technical ability, hardcore & charisma. Scott Hall's scores: Power: 7 Speed: 6 Technical: 5 Hardcore: 7 Charisma: 7 for a total of 32 and an average of 6.4 rounded down to 6.

6722.09.2022TheOneAndOnlyCactus10.0Scott Hall was truly an awesome wrestler, whether as himself in the AWA, as Razor Ramon or as part of the n.W.o.. He was very smooth in the ring, not the fanciest but did the job well to get the crowd invested and worked well as a strong man. On the mic, it took some time for him, but by mid-1993, he was very good at it. A shame he could not control his addictions during his career, but at least he got to live an enjoyable life again before passing away.

6914.09.2022juiceisloose8.0I couldn't stand watching anyting involving him (just because of the fact that he was in the NWO) after he went to wcw so i will have to rank him solely on his pre-wcw times. His Razor gimmick was one of the few bareable things from the mid 90's wwf. Besides being great in the ring and the mic, he was good as both a heel and a babyface which not too many can pull off (i preffered him as a heel tho). Being involved in the NWO greatly overshadowed his talent as a singles wrestler and inhibited him from being much much bigger.

7530.07.2022Ozzy9.0"Hey Oh", Razor Ramon is and was allways one of my favorite wrestlers, weather he was doing his thing as scarface, or he was the coolest dude in the whole NWO, he was allways too SWEEEEEEEET. Razor for wrestling ability wasnt the best, especcially in his later years, but he was still a great wrestler in his prime, his historic/iconic latter match against Shawn Michaels just proves how good the man was. His promo ability was through the roof in my opinion, and his characters were always great. His legacy will always live on with me, especcially his hall of fame speach, "Hard work pays off, dreams come true, bad times dont last, but bad guys do." May the Lone Wolf, The Diamond Studd, The Ultimate Bad Guy, Razor Ramon Scott Hall rest in peace, with all the golden toothpicks he can ask for. never held the big one, but that doesnt mean he hadnt earned it. Rest In Peace, Chico
7623.07.2022Leth996.0Another inconsistent wrestler. He was good in '93, great in '94, good in '95 and '96. And that's it. nWo was an horrible stable. Curt and Scott were great and looking amazing in AWA. But after '98 he did nothing else. He had a 25 year career, but looked good only for 6/7 years sadly. I respect him and like his mic work and I hope he's in a better place. But he looked so bad almost everywhere, especially in 2002 and 2010

8729.04.2022texasyosh9.0It took Scott Hall a little while to put it all together but when he did as Razor Ramon, he became must see every time. It's a shame drugs and alcohol derailed his career, and he isn't without criticism with some of his alleged behavior outside of the ring. Inside the ring he was a pure professional. Great matches with the likes of Shawn and Bret, and had natural charisma and great storytelling.
8828.04.2022Rodycaz II10.0One of the most complete talents in the history of the business. His issues outside the ring prevented him from reaching his full potential, but he still had a legendary career.
