The product is so stale, bland and lifeless. He now still tries to get Roman Reigns over but in a very wrong way. He said he was a pretty good listener but i rarely see it. Overall, 10/10 for his contribution to the business but still 7/10 as the final rating for what i already explained above. |

Then there are the other business failures - ICO PRO, WBF, XFL, WWE New York… and let's not pretend that he is responsible for what WWE is today. I guess in a way he is, but come on - he got the WWE from his father, who basically had things set up with Bruno and Andre so that Vince started out on 3rd base. Lastly, I reserve special criticism for the things Vince does that we normally aren't privy to. Things that scream he has serious issues - like his complete intolerance for sneezing. Many have confirmed he hates sneezing because it shows a lack of self control… The level of insecurities & overcompensating in this mans head is simply shocking, and disgusting. In summary, Vince is a truly bad person, with a sick mind and awful creative instincts. Wrestling would be so much better if Vince never existed. |

Although, outside of Shamrock, I was no fan of the Attitude Era, it worked and he regained supremacy in the ratings. I'm not a fan of the current product, but the product still draws people in and gets a decent buy rate. He even ably worked as both talent while running the business. I can't call him anything else other than a 10, despite my misgivings about many issues. |

Aber für mich ist er einfach jemand, der sich keineswegs dafür interessiert, was "best for business" ist, sondern vielmehr für sein eigenes Ego. Man überlege nur mal, wie oft er sich selbst in Angles gebookt hat, in denen er hübschen Damen seine Zunge reinstecken durfte ... nichtmal wichtige Angles, sondern meist sinnlose Filler. Ständig cancelt er Storylines mittendrin, feuert Wrestler, die over sind, ignoriert die Reaktionen der Fans, ist einfach seit vielen Jahren nur noch "out of touch". 1 Punkt kriegt er noch, weil ich ihn als Kommentator ganz gut fand. Aber dieser Mann braucht den Heel-Charakter nicht mal zu spielen, er muss einfach nur er selbst sein! |

Vince hat das Wrestling geprägt und groß gemacht, es ist keine Übertreibung ihn den "Vater des modernen Wrestlings" zu nennen, und mit modernem Wrestling meine ich nicht PG-Era Kinder-TV sondern überhaupt, dass Wrestling im Fernsehen läuft, dass es mittlerweile unzählige Fans gibt und es ein so großes Geschäft ist, in den 70ern waren Wrestlingcompanies eher eine Art Zirkus der von Stadt zu Stadt zieht. Das er die Monday-Night-Wars gewonnen hat war kein Zufall, er weiß wie man eine Company leitet. Auch heute noch. Viele kritisieren sein Booking und sagen er sei "Out of Touch", lassen aber völlig außer Acht das (fast) alle Entscheidungen "Best for Buiseness" sind, denn das Ziel eines Geschäftsmannes ist es nicht, eine Show zu machen, die viele Hardcore-Wrestlingfans abfeiern, sondern möglichst viel Geld zu verdienen. McMahon hat WWE nicht zufällig zum unangefochtenen Marktführer gemacht. |

Respekt dafür, dass er sich in seinem Alter zu jener Zeit und als Chef dieses Milliarden-Dollar-Unternehmens, der sowas eigentlich nicht nötig hat, in den Ring gewagt hat. Dort hat er zwar nicht wirklich geglänzt, aber er hat sich jedes Mal den Arsch aufgerissen. Alles in allem gebe ich ihm schwache neun Punkte. |

Seine oft kritisierte Einstellung in Bezug auf Größe der Wrestler kann ich nur entgegnen, dass Wrestler wie Daniel Bryan vll technisch Weltklasse sind allerdings kommt ein World Champion mit weniger als 100 Kilo meiner Meinung nach nicht besonders authentisch rüber. Auch der von vielen verurteilte neue Kurs der WWE ist meiner Meinung nach nicht explizit Vince zuzuschreiben sondern eher an der fehlenden Konkurrenzsituation (WWE ist sozusagen Monopolist) und dem Versuch neue Märkte zu erschließen. Schlussendlich hab ich Vince immer gern als Heel gesehen und halte ihm gut dass er sich oft verarschen und lächerlich machen hat lassen um eine gute Story zu unterstützen. |

| 300 | 06.01.2016 | Oddark123 | 9.0 | Vince McMahon is a character through and through. While not only the man behind the WWE, he can still go out and put on a great show in front of the camera. For skills he's probably never been the best but I can't say I have a wrestling memory of Vince McMahon's character that wasn't memorable. For a man his age, he makes some decisions based on that, and most of the time I don't have a problem with this. The wrestling business wouldn't be how it is today without this man, and he deserves credit for everything he has done and probably will continue to do as long as he is alive. |
