"Mr. T hatte durchaus seinen Anteil am Erfolg der WWF. Wrestlemania lebte damals von Main Event und ohne Cindy Lauper und Mr. T hätte es den ganzen Medienrummel um die WWF nicht gegeben. In den Sky Channel Nachrichten brachte man ständig Berichte über deren Beteiligung. Sein Überwurf an Paul Orndorff wurde sehr gut ausgeführt und auch so wirkte er nicht verloren. Zwar hatte er mit seiner Kondition zu kämpfen und auch beim Boxkampf gab es unprofessionelle Momente aber alles in allem der beste Prominente im Ringkampf. Seine Überheblichkeit hinter den Kulissen kostet ihm 1 Punkt. Ich würde ihm 5 Punkte für seinen Platz im Wrestling geben."
[9.0] "A shame we can't provide a proper rating for Mr. T. He had enough matches that he wasn't just a "one-off" celebrity wrestler in my book. Sure his appeal is because of his personality and fame during this era but his boxing match with Piper is one of my all-times favorites."
"Judging Mr. T purely based on his wrestling career (since this is, ya know, a wrestling site) its impossible to say hes good, but he is timeless. I really like Mr. T as a celebrity and think his devotion towards his mom is something we should all aspire toward, but I really don't think he belonged in the wrestling industry as anything more then a celeb appearance. Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff were justifiably furious when they were told they had to put over this 'non-wrestler', and in a time like the 80s T was lucky they didn't ignore Hogan and just potato the mohawk off of the man. As a 'wrestler' T is no higher then a 2/10. Hes got charisma for days, can talk and they did carry him in a manageable match for the first mania but that's it. Without Hogan he wouldn't even be an entry in the database. But as I said before I am a big fan of the guy himself."

[7.0] "Durch Mr T ´s Rolle im A-Team habe ich zum ersten Mal Hulk Hogan gesehen, der dort (passenderweise) als wrestler auftrat. Ich kam also durch eine TV Serie zum ersten Kontakt mit Wrestling und hab danach solange gezappt, bis ich dann mal Superstars gesehen hab. Danach war alles klar : Wrestling 4 Life."
"Auf jeden Fall konnte er mehr im Ring als viele seiner Prominenten Nachfolger. Sein Match bei der aller ersten Wrestlemania sehe ich mir heute noch sehr gerne an und das Box Match gegen Roddy Piper war auch nicht gerade langweilig zu seiner WCW Zeit kann ich leider nichts sagen. Guter Schauspieler, schade was aus ihm inzwischen geworden ist."
