206.11.2023dojosanjo David Arquette's pro wrestling career is nothing short of remarkable and deserves a glowing review for several reasons. While many know him as a successful actor, his foray into the world of professional wrestling showed his dedication, passion, and willingness to put his body on the line for the sport. Here are some of the standout moments and matches from his career that have earned him respect in the wrestling community: David Arquette's WCW Championship Win (2000): One of the most memorable moments in Arquette's wrestling career was when he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. While this victory was controversial and criticized by some purists, it added a unique twist to the wrestling world. It showcased Arquette's willingness to fully commit to the sport. Triple Cage Match at WCW Slamboree (2000): Arquette participated in one of the most chaotic and challenging matches in wrestling history, the Triple Cage Match. He teamed up with Diamond Dallas Page and Jeff Jarrett in this high-stakes bout, displaying his fearlessness and determination. Deathmatch with Nick Gage (2020): Arquette's return to professional wrestling in 2020 took a dangerous turn when he faced off against the hardcore legend Nick Gage in a brutal deathmatch. 324.05.2023Giantfan19803.0I will bump him up to a 3 for trying in recent years, but that world title reign smell still hasn't washed away.

720.09.2022TheStarNovaKane He shouldn't have been given the title to try to gain attention to WCW. Russo really was trying to make WCW crazy like the WWF's Attitude Era writing that he was doing before going to WCW & it just wasn't WCW's style...but I respect David Arquette for trying to make it up to the fans for that. In fact, just for stepping in the ring with Nick Gage, I think he kind of earned the title after all. It takes serious guts to wrestle Nick Gage with no rules. He wasn't even the worst WCW champion when that title belongs to Vince Russo. The match he was put in to win the title was nonsensical anyway. A tag match for the top singles title? Really? All that being said, I do intend to watch the documentary on him coming back to wrestling. He's not even a decent wrestler but he really loves wrestling & it shows.
819.09.2022crs2857.0David Arquette is one of the better wrestling celebrities. Obviously his booking in WCW was horrible but he was not the booker. His return to pro wrestling showed that he could wrestle putting on some really good matches and putting over the actual talent. Used his star power to get wrestling some more mainstream attention. Serious respect for Arquette for his commitment to the business.

1307.02.2022WhatIsLooveee5.0David's run as world champion was a mistake, and Arquette himself admitted it more than once and tried in every possible way to refuse. For many years he was just a joke in the circles of wrestling fans, but after many years he decided to return to the ring, "atone" for his guilt and prove that he can be a serious wrestler. He even show a UV match in his comeback, which deserves respect. He still continues to perform occasionally in small companies, without claiming anything more, and his dedication is impressive.
1414.08.2021Upgrayedd6.0He's a satisfactory wrestler. Thew fact that he became WCW World Heavyweight Champion is a joke, but the man didn't even want to win the title and donated his salary to the families of wounded professional wrestlers. The latter, with the addition of the fact that he actually fought Nick Gage in a deathmatch, make me respect this man greatly. Plus, he's not even that bad in the ring.
1528.06.2021wwetitlefan210.0David Arquette winning the WCW world title might have been bad at time, but since then David has proven and redeemed himself in his resurrected wrestling career. His dedication and respect for the business makes him worthy of a higher score.
1613.06.2021WrestlingStats15.0Assets: Has the passion for wrestling any promoter would hope for in their talents. In absolutely unselfish and prefers to use his own overness to support others. Is one of the few celebrities who were absolutely committed to being their best in the ring. - - - Flaws: His major league run was a source of derision until he made the decision to return to competition. Doesn't have the size of a major league wrestler. Is perhaps too lovable to ever really work heel. - - - Career Potential: Once a tainted major league champion, now an admirable independent-circuit attraction wrestler.
1714.05.2021Kung5.0I have quite a bit of respect for this guy for returning to the ring and taking maybe one or two too many lumps.
1805.04.2021texasyosh David Arquette, while not being a good wrestler, is an interesting man in the history of pro-wrestling. He's largely known in the wrestling world for winning the WCW Championship at the height of Vince Russo's reign of terror in WCW.

2010.09.2020ElPolloLoco3.0He is a very good person in real life but as a wrestler? Leaving his infamous WCW run aside he wrestles exactly like one would expect an almost 50 year old dude with little experience to wrestle, meaning he's a special attraction at best and extremely underwhelming at best. Not picking on him, but his lack of experience means he hasn't been able to develop a routine that allows him to mask the fact that even in the best shape at 50 one just cannot move around like at 30: he just looks like a very nice but extremely limited person in the ring.

2310.08.2019JEK 19910.0One of the worst wrestlers ever. Great actor and funny but horrible wrestler! Worst world champion! How the f*&k did this guy become WCW Champion? Also he made a one night appearance in WWE in 2010. Thank god I don't remember that. Now he is in the indies. He is not athletic and has no moves. I am surprised that I'm the first to give a zero. Now he has a 0.
2409.03.2019HC73.0He has definitely improved since his original infamous WCW run. I feel he has redeemed himself since his return. He isn't the best wrestler however he has improved since WCW.
2516.12.2010Cpt Dave Charisma Ich mag Arquette.
