119.04.2024thomkennedy8.0Stan Stasiak was a very solid promo, watch 1971's 'Friday Night in the Coliseum' to see him do some great work selling the deadliness of the heart punch in Paul Boesch's territory. He also looked cool as f*ck with his sideburns and quasi greaser look coupled with the barrel chest and imposing heft of an old school wrestler.

404.05.2022Conquistador377.0Finally caught up on some Stan Stasiak since I was certainly ignorant beforehand. Yknow who he looks like? Captain Quint from Jaws! That makes him more watchable than he would be otherwise. Cmon, how much fun is it to imagine Quint never was devoured by a soon to be dead carcharodon carcharias and opted to carve a career inside the squared circle? Also, there are absolutely NO similarities between Stan and his son Shawn.

1028.05.2019mdkarl8.0theres a show of ignorance with his rating... I didnt get a chance to watch a lot of stasiak in his active prime and his act got dated once the glamour of a national wwf changed what was popular so I fear there is a lot of rating going on here by young pups that simply didnt know better. I have been trying to find more stasiak matches on youtube and slowly educating myself but all you really need to know is that the promoters were willing to slap the wwf world title on this guy. he had that sort of credibility. stasiak had a look... you take one gander at him doing one of his interviews and he will scare you. then he has a simple but scary move he uses... the heart punch. you can judge it all you want by todays standards but he was a man of his times. the heart punch was scary scary. in his day he was easily a top 100 guy in any territory... probably a top 50 in any category... and when he got established in a home base he would be on top of the card fairly quickly. Hes a hall of famer that will still have a place in wrestling lore 150 years from when 75% of the flippers of this decade have not even become footnotes
1109.12.2018JEK 199110.0I thought he was great just like OX Baker. He was underrated as a wrestler. Great that he was WWE champion but only 10 days. Very popular in Portland and sold out crowds. He reminds of Wolverine from X-Men.

1326.08.2018Doshin927.0Ein Wrestler der vorallem in Kanada erfolge feierte und wohl den meisten in Gedächtnis bleibt als Übergangschampion zwischen Pedro und Bruno. Ein durchaus guter Heel.
