[8.0] "Benoit/Malenko kind of guy without the weight/height/murder problems. Devoid of personality. 11/10 worker who's extremely good at mat work and making the flippy guys look like wrestlers. Passable on the mic. Lackluster gee shucks "I'm Canadian" gimmick. Good look. Needs a heel turn to see if he can get over with that. If he can he'll prob wind up in Japan, in HHH territory as the guy who gets over "the guy" in the fed, or just in the AEW mid-card programs. May wind up in Josh Daniels territory as a road agent or something as a veteran who's know by wrestlers but has wrestled everywhere but the Fed. It's a shame the guy hasn't really achieved any financial success given how good he is in the ring"
[9.0] "Josh Alexander is legitmately one of the best wrestlers in the world right now. He will almost always have a great match with others, with his own downside being a mediocre promo game. Still, if you love wrestling from a workrate perspective, then Josh Alexander is somebody you should check out. He's improved his promo game compared to a few years ago, but still needs more work to be considered a perfect wrestler in the same vein as Kurt Angle."

Seems to be able to have a good match with just about anyone, ever so slightly adjusting his style to bust out bangers with everyone thrown at him. Made his look uniquely his (headgear, singlet and all). His chase for the Impact title single handedly brought me back after years of being a lapsed fan. Wrestling machine in the purest sense."

It is too bad that he had to retire because he stood out whenever I got to watch him whether in a tag setting or in a singles setting. Worth seeking out his work if you have not seen enough of him. 2023: Hard to imagine where he would be since I last wrote about him on year eight years ago. One of the best wrestlers in the world today who is on an unbelievable run as World Champion in Impact Wrestling. I cant imagine another talent right now who should be leading the brand like he is. Great match after great match, intense, real. He has it all and anyone who is not watching him at the moment is doing themselves a serious disservice as for me, he is having the best world title run in Impacts history."
[10.0] "It? s not often you get an athlete like Alexander. The man is just an absolute beast in the ring and incredibly athletic for his size, and more importantly actually knows how to tell a compelling story through his work. Without him, I don? t think the resurgence Impact experienced in 2022 would? ve been possible. Just an absolute animal and a joy to watch. I can see him being a major player in just about any promotion in the world, the only things holding him back are his somewhat average charisma and possibly his age (at least, in a few more years). But yeah, can? t lie, he? s made a pretty big fan of me. Frankly I think he? s one of the best wrestlers in the world today."
[8.0] "Josh Alexander is a great technical-based grappler and a snug, albeit not explosive, brawler. He may not be the best at pacing a match in a way that draws you in consistently, but he seldom has matches that aren't at least good."

[9.0] "I had always wanted to see what an extended singles run with Josh would look like as his work in AIW and AAW made me a fan and in 2022 he's proven to be worthy of top guy status. Incredibly fun grappler whose able to work many different types of matches. Really happy he's gotten the love he deserves with this impact run he's on. A few years ago it didn't seem like he'd ever get his big break but I'm happy we're past that"

[9.0] "Currently in the prime of his career and having an all-time great run with the X-Division title. He was doing great in The North but even I was surprised at how great he is on this run right now."

Now that Alexander is on his own, I have serious doubts that he'll amount to much."
