But after rewatching southern rasslin' on Peacock/WWE Network I see he was a journeyman by '84 and rather good at the role! Doug Vines never looked like a million bucks but was a good size for the time and could keep a match flowing with reversals and plenty of "spots". Doug knew what he was doing in there for sure! If I was a name back then, I'd want him for an enhancement match, definitely respect the work. |
