" When brought up to the main WWE roster, though, he was seldom able to showcase his technical skill, instead being cast as a tag wrestler alongside "brother" Danny Basham (fellow OVW alum the Damaja), and the team in turn normally being cast as enforcers, such as their time in JBL's Cabinet or as Paul Heyman's security team in the early days of the ECW brand. Doug's lack of personality likely would have insured he would remain a midcard talent, but if WWE had invested a bit more time in him he could probably have been more than he was. |
