4 | 18.01.2024 | zacharymahabir | 9.0 | Jimmy Wang Yang was always super consistent and was deserving of more, creatively. Never saw much of his WCW stuff until I was older, but I remember being a big Ruthless Aggression era fan and loving him. If he was on today's roster, he'd thrive, I sincerely believe that. |

11 | 01.08.2023 | MattHall | 9.0 | Enjoyed him as Jimmy Wang Yang, sad that his WWE tenure was short, but he is still wrestling at 42 or 43. However still, I enjoy watching this guy, and he is Hella athletic in the ring. Frontflips, Backflips, Moonsaults, Cartwheels, you name it. I also liked his WWE theme song. This guy also drove JBL nuts on commentary lol. Plenty of stuff to watch. |

14 | 30.05.2023 | Giantfan1980 | 5.0 | I remember him being one of the better aspects of WCW's dying days. Then his jobberish tenure in the WWE, usually doing throwaway matches on Velocity. Bottom of the totem pole in the WWE. |

31 | 16.08.2021 | juiceisloose | 6.0 | I really enjoyed his WCW stuff where he was with the jung dragons. I really liked the gimmick and his harmony with other members of the group. Their rivalry with 3 count led to some good cruiserweight matches. In Japan when he tagged with Kaz he frequently botched his moves but overall i still liked him. When he came to the WWE as the yakuza guy, i really liked his gimmick and his matches in Velocity. But then they had to make this guy an Asian redneck. I freaking hated the gimmick and the theme song so much that i couldn't watch his stuff anymore. This guy is a good wrestler overall and his corkscrew moonsault is a beauty but the stupid cowboy gimmick alone makes me automatically rank him one point lower. |
32 | 23.05.2021 | mjs2212 | 7.0 | I don't think about or watch Jimmy Yang enough, but he is a strong competitor. He has taken part in some good matches, especially the ladder match from Starrcade 2000, and he was SUPER over when he was rocking the cowboy gimmick. He even had a decent theme song during that time too. He is a fast-moving wrestler with a great charm and his moonsault is also a thing of beauty. Maybe not World Champion status, but he won the support of the fans for sure. |

34 | 28.03.2021 | Ma Stump Puller | 5.0 | Was around in the wrong time. Late WCW didn't really give Yang the credit he deserves when he was a great spot and high flyer in his heyday with some pretty wild moves he'd just pull out. His body couldn't really keep up, however, and by the mid 2000's he was pretty broken down and mostly worked comedy because his body just couldn't get on the level required to be a big deal on the indies. Being a Power Plant trainee, he has all of the same bad traits as nearly all of them did: a real lack of psychology and pacing in place of just doing mindless athletic moves and spots. Guy has some nice matches under his belt but that's mostly because the other guy could pace around that style effectively. |

43 | 28.03.2020 | JimmyWangYangFanboy | 10.0 | The greatest wrestler to ever do a moonsault. Probably even the greatest wrestler of all time. I'm not even joking. That phoenix splash, the corkscrew moonsault, that "Yang Time" moonsault, his dragon suplex, his incredible dropkicks, I could go on and on for days. Not to mention his charisma is off the charts! Jimmy Wang Yang may have been booked as a jobber, but he's the best damn jobber I've ever seen. He's more talented than most main eventers, even if he wasn't booked to be one. |

47 | 19.12.2019 | JEK 1991 | 7.0 | Excellent high flyer. Too bad he did not get enough of a push. The Jimmy Wang Yang gimmick was too ridiculous. He was in a time when crusierweights were popular. He was first used as a stereotypical Japanese heel. The Jimmy Wang Yang gimmick was a little bit racist. A Chinese-Texan running in the ring. His later days in WWE he was sadly used more as a jobber because the crusierweight division disappeared. He had better talent in All Japan. |
48 | 01.08.2019 | KyleEnjoysWrestling | 6.0 | A great smaller guy in the ring when WWE really could have used more focus on the cruiserweight division, Jimmy Yang Wang's character ultimately didn't connect with the audience. I think the asian guy being all about America & western culture is an interesting take & it goes against they typical karate master trope that WWE would usually go to. I don't know if the failure comes entirely from WWE not having faith in him or if Jimmy is partly to blaim in not doing enough with the character. But whatever the reason, Yang Wang never really worked. |

It was only alter when I saw some of his WCW work and indeed his indie work that I really appreciate what an incredible talent he was. |
