1313.12.2023Loge4.0Did not profit at all from Heyman's management and was teamed up with Ryback to make sure RybAxel was the shittiest thing on your TV every week. Idk. I never really liked any of his matches. At least not his single matches. I just dont see an IT factor at least with the way he acted on screen.

1526.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12034.0Decent in ring wrestler, but lacked everything to be a top star, never succeeded despite having Paul Heyman as his manager (and if Paul can't help make you a star, then you know you're not good). Also, RybAxel is one of the worst tag teams in recent memory.

1929.09.2023bigredtalk896.0Decent in ring worker, unfortunately, he would have had a much better career had he had 1/10th of the charisma his father had. Sadly, he may have even had a better career had he not had to compete with the giant shadow of Mr. Perfect looming over him at all times. Never really had a chance to truly carve out his own identity, but he was a strong hand in the ring

2625.05.2023Giantfan19805.0Another case of a generational wrestler having to live up to the mythical status of his Father and his grandfather was a a big name in his own time too! The table was set against him when they kept trying to get him over by mentioning Mr Perfect Curt Hennig so he never was able to get out of the shadow. Still a lot more talent than David Sammartino and Eric Watts.

3617.02.2023WhatIsLooveee6.0Absolutely not the level of his legendary father and grandfather, but still a solid wrestler who stayed in the biggest company in the world for a really long time, although he was mainly a jobber, periodically performing in the mid-card and even winning the intercontinental championship after re-debuting in the main roster. Curtis was particularly good at comedic alliances with Ryback, Damien Sandow and Bo Dallas, but was quite boring as a solo performer. He has a good base, he is a decent wrestler of a technical style who did his job well, although he never claimed higher roles in the company.

4002.01.2023envi6.0he was doomed from the start. his whole WWE run was focused on him being Mr. Perfect's son and this did more harm than good. he was a decent worker but the constant comparisons to his father led to a bigger expectation of him. he had a few good stints. his AxelMania gimmick was really over at one point. his IC title win and pairing with Paul Heyman looked promising but that led nowhere. other than that, the rest of his run was pretty forgettable. he had potential to be a great mid card wrestler but he seemed lost in the shuffle.

4419.09.2022AlDente016.0Always in the shadow of his father. Curtis had the potential to be a good midcarder, but WWE only used it once by giving him the title of IC and Heyman as manager. Later it was only worse - being the weaker element of the tag team division: RybAxel, Meta Powers, Social Outcasts, Miztourage, B-Team. Even winning the tag team championship did not allow him to stay on top, which is a pity. Axel is a decent competitor with skills. Gimnick of someone who wants to come out of his father's shadow was also good and he had potential.

6002.01.2022Sesh4.0A good wrestler who has never reached his hoped-for potential. WWE gave him great luck with his victory over Triple H and being a Paul Heyman Guy but he never capitalized on those oppurtinity. The fact that he is the son of Mr. Perfect did not really help him because his charisma was very far from his father.
6123.11.2021Wrestleking9.0Axel is so underrated. He had the ring skills equal to that of his father, had bad promo ability but that wouldn't have created a hurdle when WWE wanted to push him. He should have been an upper mid carder.

6826.08.2021Shoot Headbutt Lover7.0I feel bad for Joe Hennig honestly, It seems like he was given only one gimmick "I'm Mr. Perfect's Son" which is more on WWE than him, I'm sure he had other ideas but WWE wanted him to just be in reality gimmickless. He wasn't particularly charismatic on the mic, even when they gave him Paul Heyman it felt off even though fans want to think they can pair anyone with Paul and they're immediately be a star that's just not the case with people like Ryback, Cesaro, or Heidenreich those guys would've been stars if the company (or the fans on that last one) cared enough to get fully through with it. Even though Curtis Axel was an Intercontinental champion, that was still in line with "I'm Mr. Perfect's Kid". Now as an in ring competitor, he was like a 90s midcard All Japan wrestler, he did Backdrop Saitos and Lariats, but he also added in some weird neckbreaker moves like the Axe-Hole, he did a chinlock of course cause that's just the WWE style. Going to back to his charisma, he did so many things to get over that kind of did. Axelmania, Skol Axel Skol (Even if that was for like a week in Minnesota), The goofy Miztourage which lead into the B-Team, this guy is surprisingly funny when he's allowed to show more personality. Joe Hennig never put on a 5 Star Classic, But he has all the tools or just enough of them to be more than a job guy for years, it's a real shame he went to WWE and they had zero ideas for him besides "I'm Curt Hennig's son, Michael McGuillicutty".
6925.08.2021Upgrayedd8.0Man, Curtis Axel is extremely underrated. He's great within the ring, he's a 3rd generation wrestler who knows the business inside out and deserved much more. His mic skills are decent, and if given a good gimmick he could develop a charisma. I can't wait to see him fight on the indies, he'll do great.

7702.04.2021Jorhorge6.0In the beginning he was promising, having a solid character, but he was ruined, his promos were meh and sometimes he had no charisma but he had great technique in the ring and he also had 1 reign as an acceptable mitcard champion but after that he went to the Jobber zone, but as a tag fighter he was pretty decent, having pretty solid batches. he was a wrestler who had potential but ended up as a mitcard wrestler.
7817.03.2021PuroresuLover6.0Curtis Axel was a very decent worker and could have a good run with a championship like the WWE Intercontinental Belt. It truly is a shame that he was mistreated by the company and never got any other singles run in his career. Pretty underrated.

9329.04.2020Ma Stump Puller5.0For a guy who's been wrestling for 14 years, he clearly doesn't act like it. Weak charisma, a train wreck with a live mic, and decent wrestling skill with a unimpressive look to boot. He's boring in the ring despite being a good safe worker, but I can't really say much beyond that. He's been in a few mediocre tag teams and seems to be going nowhere.
