[5.0] "Not really a fan at all. He's fine when you need someone to take a bump or to play a lackey. He can go in the ring but i don't see him surviving alone on the main roster after the explosion of the JD. His best shot is probably in NXT."

[4.0] "I was on my way to a 5 because he's not awfully bad by any stretch, but then I saw that he's almost 20 years in & I'm definitely concluding that I've gotta go 4. He's not a terrible wrestler, he's just very small, dreadful on mic, devoid of charisma, & nondescript in every manner imaginable. The fact that he's been doing this since he was 16 & still has so little charisma is definite proof he will never improve in that way. Finn Balor carries him to a good tag team. That's all I've got for you. I think that the fact that as a WWE guy, he went some 3. 5 straight months without a comment is if anything some sort of proof in concept as to how very DULL this guy is. That's certainly a word for it. He's dull."

[10.0] "One of the best high flyers with consistent backflips in his performances. He can easily put on bangers as proven with his showcases against Ricochet, and the triple threat against Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov to name a couple."

[4.0] "One name, one word and a whole lot of talent but follows the judgement day path because of cultural nepotism. Here it is, Finn Balór wannabe. Paul Tracey got him in the dance across Ireland and his good buddy plus trainer Finn Balór got him on TV. Bad debut in WWE with a kick to Danny Briggs skull and one serious injury overshadows his cruiserweight and tag team championships. So Jordan is bar by association. And yes Finn Balór the better wrestler for the past 2 decades carried him like a baby away from the corporate darts."

[4.0] "JD Mcdonagh is a solid fall guy and jobber on the Main Roster and has had a few good matches under his name, but there's nothing about him that stands out. His run as Jordan Devlin at the Indies and NXT UK were solid. Not someone I really liked but he was a solid worker. His current run with the Judgment Day sucks major ass. He's mediocre at best in my eyes"

I get he is Finns boy but the baggage this guy carries you would think wwe would just replace him. People seem to think him being attached to judgement elevated him somehow but I just get the feeling he is a pity hire or something because guys like him and dominik ruined all credibility this group has to offer, looking at the current make up of the group what are they even going for now? Who knows! Anyways JD has no character and copy paste moveset and no entertainment value whatsoever, yeah he needs to return to nxt in my opinion."

[5.0] "Eh? he's a midcard guy for me. his NXT run was alright, but nothing he does stands out. He was the judgement day's servant for most of his time on the main roster, his promo's arent something to pay attention to, and overall, his charisma and mic skills arent up to par. I honestly think he gets cut after a few years, he doesnt draw any people to seats, his accusations arent going away, and while his run in JD was ok, he's not going to be a main event guy for any major wrestling company. His ceiling is a main eventer in the European scene. (Update 3/18/25) I've seen some massive improvement's from him. he's a decent worker, his promo's are finally getting airtime. I don't see him being main event level, but he is better than a 3. I'll give him a 5 for now."

[7.0] "He is a good wrestler in-ring wise, he is underrated in the ring, and he isn't special at all in anything, and it shows now because he is the least interesting member in TJD, and was always like that since he joined, still I'll give him 7 for his in-ring work"

Finished a match with cracked ribs and a punctured lung... realgrapsfan has gained a ton of respect for JD McDonagh!"

[5.0] "Extremely mediocre wrestler. To me, he peaked back on NXT, where he was mildly entertaining. But I was quick to lose interest in him. Now, he is just straight up being carried by Judgement Day, where he leeched off the interest on other members of the faction all the way to his current work as a tag partner of Finn Balor."

"McDonagh could be a star if used the right way. He's been doing fine work in the judgement day but once that ends he should really use his technical ability and dominate the mid card, hes a great wrestler but his look and charisma is a bit unimpressionable."

[9.0] "McDonagh has been sensational in his role since joining the Judgement Day. He's the WWE's resident bump machine at this point, going the extra mile to make his opponents look good. Was very happy to see him and his mentor Finn Balor win the tag titles. I hope he continues to grow on the main roster."

[1.0] ""You could even defend [insert dictator here] if he did a good suplex". That's the entire review in a nutshell for JD McDonagh, or Jordan Devlin. Devlin is sort of the James Brown of Irish professional wrestling in a way. He is so good when he is in there and doing his best work, but outside he is as manipulative and as tacky as anyone would've never believed. A womanizer and someone whose been majorly accused of domestic violence, Devlin is a certified star in Irish wrestling, and that stardom wasn't something given to him via proxy, he went all the way up to receive that level of stardom by his own hand with his superb matches and rivalries with guys like WALTER, David Starr (I hate saying his name too) and more. He is almost as though as being protected from any type of criticism because he is "Finn's boy", a nod to Finn Balor (who trained Devlin and is a close friend of his). He should have stayed gone from the ring."

[10.0] "great wrestler, loved his time in nxt uk and also i liked his cruiserweight championship title reign, now in the judgement day is having a lot of great matches and often in the main event zone, also it can be a good superstar for a single run and maybe for a single title reign"

[4.0] "The definition of nothing for me. He's undeniably athletic, but nothing he does stands out. No charisma, you can tell he's just a lite version of his main trainer (Balor), and I find it shocking that nothing came out of what he was being accused of. Nothing he does is anything that couldn't be done by a better wrestler and better human."

[3.0] "He's athletic and can have a competent and entertaining match but so can everyone else. He has negative charisma and this isn't even including the allegations against him. There's nothing he does that sets him apart from other similarly talented people. It appears he's where he is because he was trained by Balor."

[8.0] "JD is a good worker. Although I liked his work as Jordan Devlin a little bit more, he fits in perfectly with WWE's current roster and I'm always happy to see some of his in-ring-work."

[9.0] "hes a great wrestler and fine on the mic in dosages like hes has been n the main roster. he fits his role to a T and gives a lot of underrated matches. do I think wwe should give him more as a singles competitor? nah but maybe the tag scene with Dom, he could stir some noise up"

[2.0] "Its amazing that some people will get fired for personal issues and others just get renamed and continue to be on TV despite offering nothing. Massively overated and I have no idea why, he doesn't add anything and really is just there for a fall guy, but not even an interesting fall guy."

If it's 2024 and youre wanting to clean house of all the creeps in WWE, the man once christened "JD McDontGoogleMe" by Kevin Owens is an easy start. A complete charisma vacuum that continues to ruin the Judgment Day stable to the point that Monday Night Raw is genuinely unwatchable instead of boring. And really, the Kevin Owens promo really tells you a lot, doesn't it? They know he's a creepy bastard and have no problems using allegations of sexual assault to get heel heat on someone, even during the middle of the first round of the hush payment scandal! But sadly, because Triple H is a Finn Bálor mark (though aren't we all? ) and JD is Finn's friend, he'll continue to be a greasy stain on the product for many months to come."

[9.0] "Jd is such a great wrestler and athlete i love his technician style. He was one of my top favorites in nxt and im glad he is finally on the main roster and is finally in the judgment day after all he was the protege of finn."

[6.0] "JD McDonagh is a pretty good in ring competitor. He has a good look and is a talented athlete. Where he has struggled for me is with his charisma and mic skills which I haven't been impressed with in WWE. Judgement Day has been a good place for him to hide his weaknesses."

[7.0] "I feel like he has a lot of solid groundwork, but he's just not quite there yet in terms of star potential. He's put on plenty of VERY good matches, a few which I'd consider classics even, but I guess I just can't get into him as much as others in NXT right now. I certainly don't mind seeing him around though, he's a great hand and a rock solid heel."

[7.0] "A solid wrestler with an interesting gimmick, JD is one of the best wrestlers on the NXT brand and has built up a solid reputation for good matches. If WWE ever went back to booking smaller guys as main events (like the new generation era) I could see him become one of the biggest stars the company have."

[1.0] "Even putting aside any kind of allegations, I can't get a single drop of hype off the former Jordan Devlin. Propped up at the right place and time in OTT but never brought anything special to his matches, relying on superior opponents to help him look good. A dud to me, the man feels achingly generic."

[7.0] "I wasn't a fan of his at all when he was in NXT UK. I never got the hype. He has a weird look. He's like a giant midget. But as JD Mcdonough in NXT, he's put on some great performances. I even like his sadistic promos. I think he would be one of the major players if they ever brought back the cruiserweight division."

[8.0] "He has a lot of good abilities. Need a haircut. The mid long hair makes him look like a wee person like Bud Bundy from Married With Children and I don't think that's the look he is going for! He could probably use some boot sweeteners like MJF and Jericho have."

[1.0] "A remarkably bland wrestler in every possible way. I have never understood the hype. If anyone tells you he is great, you can go ahead and disregard their opinions on wrestling. You can then go google Speaking Out and Jordan Devlin."

[10.0] "One of my favorites, I love Jordan Devlin, the guy deserves better treatment, his character, his skill, his mic skill is great too, he has everything, everything to be a top star, but he needs to get that spotlight he isn't given right now..."

[7.0] "What can I say, the dude's a good wrestler. I can totally see his old trainer in him, not just in that he looks exactly like Finn, but his character work is also pretty similar. He's only 31, so he'll have plenty of time to improve and reach that next step."

[6.0] "Devlin comes off as a poor man's Finn Balor. His in ring work is solid, but his generic look and underwhelming promos leave something to be desired."

[10.0] "Devlin is the best heel on this planet nowadays. He is like an MJF, but so much better inside the ring (and MJF is good too). For me, he deserves this 10. I am not overrating him. Three years ago, he was not good, I still remember it. Nowadays, on 2020, he is the top 5 wrestlers of the world."

[7.0] "Really great in the ring, but a lack of character is what is slowing him down now. I like him in the heel role compared to as a face, but he needs to find something that sets him apart from being looked at as just some good wrestler dude."

[8.0] "Devlin has done great work as a heel, and he is a fantastic in ring performer. His finisher The Islands Call is interesting, and I definitely see a resemblance to Finn Balor. As far as I can tell, the sky is the limit for him."

[9.0] "Devlin's had a ridiculous 2018. His work in OTT puts him up there with the best in the world. The WALTER match is one of my top ten MOTY, plus he's had other great ones with ZSJ, Scotty Davis, Will Ospreay etc. Watch out for him to make big moves with NXT UK in 2019"

[10.0] "Pretty much my favorite wrestler in the world. Don't let his average performance during the UK tournament fool you. Since the summer of 2017, there have not been many as good as the import killer. He took the eyes he got on him from that tournament and from being Devitt's boy and ran with it. His matches and how well he has been booked in OTT has made me become a massive fan of his. His stuff with David Starr, Shane Strickland, Speedball, etc are fucking amazing. Hope that him being at SSS16 this year for progress will get even more people on his bandwagon because he has busted his ass to deserve it."

[9.0] "So underrated, he's an amazing performer and I think deserves more recognition for his work. In the WWE UK Tournament he wasn't so great but I'm sure that few matches don't show his potential at all. I suggest you to take a look of his performance in the UK promotions, specially OTT, pretty sure you will recognize Jordan's ability. (Once more, sorry for the awful english)."

[8.0] "Devlin is on a fucking roll currently. Like he is something else, among the best. Like I say a lot of wrestlers are amazing, which they are, but Jordan here is just on another tier. He’s had so many Match Of The Year quality matches this year wether it’s Trent Seven, Moose, Starr, Strickland and others, and that’s only in ICW and OTT. I still have yet to watch his FCP, Progress matches (which I plan to). The man is just an exquisite all rounder, with every maneuver in each style done perfectly. He’s untouchable and he NEEDS to have more matches with other top quality talent world wide. Like he can have a great match with almost anyone but to have him face elite wrestlers would be extraordinary. In conclusion, Devlin is one of the best in the British isles."

[10.0] "Devlin is the best wrestler in Ireland without a shadow of a doubt. I don't know if he will be given another shot with WWE as he seems to have been forgotten, but if you look at any match in OTT he is in, its usually a fight of the night contender. Hes good technically, a great talker, and outside of the ring a very nice guy. Hope he continues to improve and get a chance in the big leagues again"

[10.0] "Back when I first saw him in WWE's UK tournament, everything that I got was some opinions that he's sloppy, inconsistent. Then was his match with Stone and I was like - damn, they're right. But after tournament ended I rewatched this match, checked his work in OTT and got to see his debut in PROGRESS and singles debut in ICW and, damn what I thought, he is great."
