[3.0] "Celebrated as "rookie of the year" in the WWWF as "Steve Travis", I just didn't see it. But then again, that territory kinda sucked anyway. After that celebration he did a whole lotta nothin. Quickly found himself floundering in the southern territories again as enhancement talent. Decent body, looked alright as a sack of potatoes or yesterday's garbage. A drug induced black out led to a vehicle collision in 1984 and he took the life of another in that incident. His ring career was over at that moment. 2.75 rounded up."

[5.0] "Wasn't bad in my opinion during early 80's WWF run. I did like his run with Quick Draw as the Carolina Connection, and wish they would have gotten more of a push. Had some decent offense, and was believable in the ring. I would put him on par with the SD Jones and Renee Gullet's during the same time period. Could win a majority of time against other jobbers, but was usually paired with a really bad tag team partner in most matches."
