[6.0] "Warlord had the better look, but Barbarian was the much stronger wrestler, and his career in WCW proved it. While he was never particularly great on the mic, he was fairly agile in the ring, especially for his size, and had some great looking offensive moves, even if he never really sold all that well."

[6.0] "A decent powerhouse, better known as 1/2 of the "Powers of Pain", which had some success and in which he still performs in the ring from time to time. He also had a memorable alliance with Haku, with whom they performed in Japan and WCW. He is much less remarkable as a solo performer, but at the same time he had good physical shape and was able to show a good match with the right opponent."

[8.0] "The Barbarian was absolutely positively NEVER known for any type of mic work, however he DOES have one of my favorite promos of all time, from Primtetime Wrestling's Head to Head Episode Feb 20th 1989: "Demolition! They will be no longer the champion, We have no fear to you, because what we want! He is the master of the massacre and you are very excited, because you've got the gold around your waist - that's what we want! " ...amazing, borderline gibberish due to his limited English, fit the character fantastically! He looked like he came straight out of a sword and sorcery film from the late 70's/early 80's, what a vision! His work in Crockett was notable because he was this massive meat missile that would fly from literally one end of the ring to the other with relative ease, moments after absolutely decimating his foes. His team with The Warlord was a perfect pairing that was exactly what Warlord needed to cover up his shortcomings while learning to be a better worker. Although his singles run in the WWF post Powers of Pain can be a painful watch (pun not intended & horrible snail pace snoozefests with The Big Bossman and Jim Duggan come to mind) he was able to turn his career around after teaming with Haku/Meng as the formidable Faces of Fear! One of wrestling's unsung heroes who had NO ego and has always been willing to put over lessor talent. Watch any match with an opponent on the smaller/medium side - avoid any matches with other big men (aside from Demolition). Expect me to edit this later because there is likely more i will say about the guy - but in case i never do, watch his match with Tito Santana at Wrestlemania 6 and let your jaw drop when you see the BRUTAL looking top rope clothesline finish. 8 solid points despite deductions for some very awful big man vs big man match ups."

[8.0] "This guy has been around about 40 years AND STILL goes out of his way to put forth the work and effort to have a memorable, worthy match. He's never been a main eventer, but as far as long-term consistency, Barbarian is one of the best ever, up there with guys like Ricky Morton and Jerry Lawler, the only difference being is that 90% of the time, he's putting over other talent instead of winning every match he has. A genuine tough guy and a true class-act. One of the unsung heroes of wrestling."

[10.0] "Underrated worker and super strong. He was not given a big push in his career. He is best known as Konga in AWA and teaming with the Warlord in the Powers of Pain. He was given a shot for the WWE title. He only had a few months on his own having Bobby Heenan as his manager. Later he teamed with Haku in WWE and WCW as Faces of Fear but never won tag titles. He later teamed with Rikishi (Fatu) as the New Headshrinkers but did not go anywhere. The Sionne gimmick was awful. He is still wrestling. People only remember him being in the Powers of Pain and defeated Tito Santana at Wresltemania 6. He should been Intercontinental champion or WWE Champion. Such a great wrestler."

The match was so much more fun then I thought it would be. At 57 he can still get everyone in the building to yell HolyS**t. That night made me a fun for life."

Deserves a lot more credit than he gets, especially with his fun little singles run in the WWE in the early 90s. A good brawler who could work and have strong matches with the best of them (A great example of this is a tag match from Nitro with Meng against Jericho and Guerrero)."

He never really took off as a single, but had a few good runs as a tag wrestler with the Warlord as the Powers of Pain and with Meng as the Faces of Fear. Continues to work the indies today, often teaming with one (or both) of his old partners."
