How good a match of his was really was more reflective of the skill of the opponent then anything he did. While my rating does not take his career as a referee into account, he was always competent in that role."
[8.0] "Even though it took him time to burst out of the Young Lions bubble, Honaga became an incredible performer, and a great heel that resembles what Kanemaru is today (grumpy, technical yet dirty, junior wrestler). Had 3 good reigns with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight belt, so I can admit he did all he could while he could."
