113.01.2024GriffinX10.0I think Tully summed it up best, he was the blasting cap that maded the TNT blow up. He got the heat that made you hate the Horsemen.

804.06.2023Giantfan19807.0One of the best mid card heels of the 80's! Great technical wrestler in his team with Arn Anderson and he was good at playing the subtly comical chicken shit heel who was sneaky. I wanted to give him higher marks but getting busted on drugs in 1989 and his substance issues screwed him over in his peak years.

2904.11.2021Conquistador379.0Tully's interview skills would easily earn him admiration as a "cool heel". Tully's in ring style even easier won him nothing but disdain and revilement from ALL. Tully was one hell of a heel, his facial expressions and mannerisms once the bell rang made you instantly detest him, severely unlikeable - a total underhanded JERK, and also - rather cowardly*! His smug cocky demeanor in promos made him unlikable to many, but to the same amount - a bit of an antihero since he often backed up what he said with wins (by any means...). His tag team with Arn Anderson is legendary and are inarguably one of the greatest teams of all time. Unfortunately to be what i consider an underachiever; he had the makings of being one of THE all time greats, but falls just short due to personal issues in his youth. 9.25 rounded down. still HIGHLY recommended. *Watch Tully at Survivor Series 88 when he tags in and second guesses an altercation with The Barbarian, cracks me up every time.

4415.01.2021Brett19808.0Good wrestling skills and good promo. Him and Anderson are amongst the best tag teams of all time in WWE and JCP. Was a good Solo Wrestler before teaming up with Anderson. Disappeared in 1989 after failing a drug test.

5401.03.2020JEK 19918.0He was one that really did not me interest me. Until I saw videos of him his fighting is not too bad. Has great in-ring technique, great as a heel and good mic skills. Very underrated wrestler for sure. One of the original Four Horseman. Arn Anderson and him were a great tag team and wanted to impress WWE. They won the tag teams belts. Blanchard was fired by the company for failing a drug test which affected his wrestling career. Becoming a born-again Christian helped him change his life.
5504.12.2019krukster8.0Great wrestler and super on the mic. Could carry a match and also great a selling as you always thought he was in trouble even against a jobber.

5916.03.2019Kevin411829.0Tully is by far one of the most underrated workers of his day. He was the hidden gem within the Horsemen. He was an unbelievable in-ring worker, was stellar on the mic, and had a cool look. Sadly size as well being in the shadow of Flair made him miss the ten pounds of gold.
6012.11.2018RatingsMachine8.0Tully Blanchard was a great heel and a great talker, enabling him to get just about anyone over as a babyface.

6216.01.2018kldub4life10.0Tully Blanchard was one of the best in ring workers of his era. The only reason he never wore the 10 lbs. of gold in the NWA is because he was the work horse of the Horsemen. I've always heard of Tully's legendary work as a young wrestler in his father's territory in Texas. But once he came to the southeast and his matches against Dusty Rhodes, and Magnum TA were amazing! His teaming with Arn Anderson was tag team genius and will forever be remembered in pro wrestling!

6520.02.2017Owen8.0Primarily known as a tag team specialist, Tully was a cocky, innovative wrestler that had an infuriating way of telling you what he was going to do and then doing it. He was the heart of the original four horsemen.

6915.11.2016Bigchiefmartin9.0Tully was the heartbeat of the 4horsemen, all the the main horsemen on record saying so! he is the firestarter the instigator, the rest of the 4horsemen at the time was really cool heel's, Tully was a true heel who could get white hot heat, true heat people just hated the super-brat with the heat of a hundred Sun's, the man would just get under your skin, he was a outstanding in-ring worker, bump his ass off could sell sell, very good in ring psychology, very good mat style technical wrestler, if you look up his matches you'll see he handled all the toughest roughest matches of the horsemen, he had great solo and tag career 1st with Gino Hernandez, "The Dynamic Duo" and then with the 4Horsemen Mainly Arn Anderson had fantastic feuds with the Funks Bro, in the southwest and Mid-Atlantic Wahoo McDaniel, Scott Casey, Gino Hernandez, Ricky Steamboat, Manny Fernandez Dusty Rhodes his feud with big dusty is a super underrated feud for both, really gave dusty one of his best feuds, then a other super great feud in Magnum TA and Barry Windham, then The Rock 'n' Roll Express, Road Warriors, Jimmy Garvin & Ron Garvin, Jimmy Garvin & Michael Hayes, Barry Windham & Lex Luger, Lex Luger & Sting, Bobby Eaton & Stan Lane, The Rockers, Demolition, Strike Force, The Hart Foundation

7501.12.2015Squared Circle2.0Garbage. Along with Arn Anderson, one of the main reasons the NWA was so utterly eclipsed by Hulkamania. OK mic skills and not bad as a technician, there was no believability to this character. Flair did his best, but outside of the Road Warriors, the NWA was unwatchable in those days. They kept recycling Blanchard and company, and you'd say to yourself, "Really, this is the best guy they can come up with". Despite a monstrous push in WWE, he and Arn went nowhere. I give him a point for being better than Arn and a point because his father, Joe Blanchard is an icon.
7618.08.2015DanTalksRasslin9.0Original Horseman Blanchard was, along with his partners, one of the best technical wrestlers of his day, and introduced us to the concept of the "cool heel. " Perhaps best renowned as a tag specialist, particularly with fellow Horseman Arn Anderson (a team that also crossed over to being a major part of the Heenan Family in WWF), but also had a good amount of singles success, including long runs with the NWA World Television title.

8810.09.2010rockysadriane10.0Seht ihn euch an Leute.
9301.07.2009Mick Funk7.0Starker Heel. Außerdem gehört er zur Originalbesetzung der Horsemen. Das reicht schon für die Punkte.
