Legitimate redemption story, left WWE in 2016, came back 6 years later after playing a significant part in the Indie Wrestling boom that led to the creation of AEW. Elevated significantly by his off-screen influence, but not bad by any means."

[6.0] "Don't really see what people see in him, Came back to WWE and just because of that he immediately became main eventer even though he was a mid carder his whole wwe career."

"As a heel, I enjoyed him. His undashing mask gimmick is still the best work of his career in my opinion. As a babyface, he puts me to sleep. Droning and monotonous promos that all seem to follow the same formula of finishing the story and doing it for his daddy. If only he had the charisma of his dad, because he has a great look. The bleached blonde hair and obnoxious American skull neck tattoo make him look like a character from a Capcom game. Im not a total Cody hater but hes gonna have to either turn heel or at least show a little more edge in his character. Very few guys can pull off the goody two shoes white meat babyface character, and hes not one of them for me. As a wrestler, hes perfectly fine in the ring. Sometimes even great. Hes no AJ Styles or Bryan Danielson but who is. Thats not his issue for me."

[10.0] "I did not anticipate Cody Rhodes to become one of the most important wrestlers of modern times when he left WWE years ago. It's truly remarkable how he was able to become not just a main eventer but the face of wrestling as well. This next year will be a true test for him as champion and maintaining interest and his buzz but it seems unwise to bet against him at this point."

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes is a good example of reinvigorating a career. In his early WWE days, he wasn't on the right track and had multiple character and gimmick changes and wasn't over with the crowd as much, it didn't help that many fans viewed him as a "freeloader". Eventually, he left WWE and did a fresh restart on the indies, co-founded a wrestling promotion with Tony Khan, and did a good job at making a career renaissance. Cody would return to WWE in 2022 and although the rumors sparked some criticism within the wrestling community, it was 100% the right call and he became the most over wrestler in wrestling and became the face of WWE in just a few months. He managed to stay over despite losing to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 39 and had some good moments like his feud with Brock Lesnar, forming an alliance with the also over Jey Uso, and still getting massive positive crowd reactions. His story came to a high point at Wrestlemania 40 where he would beat Roman Reigns in the main event in what was one of the greatest modern Wrestlemania moments in history, up there with Kofi Kingston winning at WM 35 and Daniel Bryan winning at WM 30. Before 2022, It was unclear of whether Cody Rhodes would go into the WWE Hall Of Fame in the future, but I think he's already solidified himself as a future first ballot Hall Of Famer."

[8.0] "Imagine if Cody Rhodes didn't leave in 2016 and continued his Stardust gimmick until now, I would give him an atrocious 2/10 rating. Leaving the company is the best and the wisest decision Cody did for his career. Cody Rhodes may possibly have the greatest road to redemption story in the history of pro-wrestling. Cody realized that on his first run in WWE, he was just simply a hack, a guy who went in the business because of the influence of his father and his older brother. He had a rough first run, struggling to be on top. His only good achievement was to become the Intercontinental Champion, but he even also struggled with that. When WWE decided to repackage him as Stardust, I would say he's done, and his career fell into obscurity. His departure in 2016 saved his career. He began to grind in the indies, TNA and NJPW. The most successful accomplishment he had outside of WWE is when he created an alternative wrestling in 2019 assisted with his friends and backed by Tony Khan to reignite the competition in the North American wrestling industry. Although his time there is very lacklustre, possibly because he is too humble to put himself over. Upon his return to the WWE in 2022, he brought his improved character, the American Nightmare, and Cody's evolution into one of the best WWE superstars. His chase to become the World Champion for two years was very well-thought and when he finally won the big one, it became one of the most satisfying moments in WWE history. His hard work, determination and passion for the business brought him to finally have a crowning moment. Now, he is the world champion, let's see how he can keep up with this. Will his run become stale or memorable. In-ring he had solid fundamentals enough to provide good to great matches. Just his cons are his promo skills, he is still struggling to cut believable promos and sometimes way too forced and melodramatic. Overall, a very good wrestler and one of the hardest workers in the ring with an incredible redemption story."

[9.0] "A fantastic wrestler with a great body of work. Of course everyone is familiar with his modern work with AEW and his return run with WWE, but his talents were evident even at a younger age in a system that didn't view him as a premier talent. It's really a shame that just as he was coming into his own as a talent WWE forced him into the Stardust gimmick. However, that poor decision revealed Cody's best trait as a wrestler, his proactivity. He is never content with staying in the same place for too long, he is always looking to expand his horizons. One of the truly great wrestling politicians that has managed to always come out on top with everyone singing his praises on the way out. We've seen this with his request for release from WWE to his part in the creation of All In which would lead to his run with AEW before moving back to WWE as soon as it became clear that creative decisions were going in another direction. He's the son of Dusty Rhodes but, ironically enough, he's managed to become this generation's Ric Flair. A trend setter, not afraid to blaze his own trail and bounce from promotion to promotion while cementing himself as a legit main eventer and crossover star everywhere he goes."

[10.0] "He's one of my faves since day one. I was a fan of his Dashing gimmick when everyone says it was ridiculous. OK it was. But it was perfectly delivered and one. Even his "invicible-john-cena" current gimmick works better with him than it did with Cena back then. I can't wait for him to turn Homelander-heel since i saw his outfit for the first time. Pretty sure he'll be excellent in that role too."

[6.0] "I gotta give it to the guy, I've never seen a midcarder market himself as amazingly as Cody Rhodes did after his first WWE stint. If it wasn't for him having occasionnally good matches (Cody v. Dustin at Double or Nothing, Cody v. Rollins at Hell in a Cell, 'Mania 39 main event before the finish), I'd have given him an easy 4/10. The first time I had any form of interest was during his first team-up with Goldust, except that proportionally, my interest for Cody was significantly less important than the one I had for Goldust who I thought was in the best shape of his career but also one of the best wrestlers I've ever seen. And that difference of interest seemed to apply to most of the high points of Cody Rhodes' career, it wasn't that I found him to be interestling, it was always something about his opponents that I thought elevated Cody's position. And then came 2021 Cody, and my good faith in him was instantly flushed down the toilet, as I was experiencing the funniest acts of desperation out of any wrestler I've ever seen (his bad remixes for "Kingdom", him constantly using the epic prelude for every entrance, going through a flaming table and still winning the match, come on it was so funny) And if that isn't apparent enough on his feuds and team-ups, it becomes more apparent with his wrestling abilities. Cody is most certainly not a bad wrestler, but he is as average as his athleticism. He's all right at his spots, but I can't remember a single hold or counter that I thought was clever and technically impressive. The best matches he's ever had were either due to his opponents being far more athletic and technically sound than him (Rollins, Dustin), or because of an accidental pec injury which made a stipulation more dangerous than any of its contemporaries during the 2010's. And yes, that latter match really showcases his guts and courage to muster something great out of what could've been a disaster, but it doesn't change nor recontextualize the overall body of work. In conclusion, Cody Rhodes: 6/10 wrestler, 12/10 marketer."

[10.0] "Hands down one of the most underrated wrestlers out there, and he has a brilliant mind for the sport. What hes done since leaving the WWE has been nothing short of incredible, and hes changed the industry for the better. Hes the complete package, as he can both wrestle and talk on the mic."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes is no doubt a very good wrestler who improved tremendously over the years. He's a very well rounded, has great psychology and I think he's at his prime currently. He's very good in the ring and has a natural charisma and likable personality in and off the ring. He defied odds, being a slightly smaller wrestler who made it to the top card years ago and worked his butt off throughout the years to get to where he is today. He puts on 5 star main even matches time and time again. Cody has really grown on me and I am so happy to see him complete his story. A 7.67 star rating is too low for Cody at this point."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes represents the beginning of a new era in the WWE. A man that bet on himself and decided that hitting the reset button on his career was the only choice he had left. The son of the late, great American Dream Dusty Rhodes, Cody carved out his own route and if his trajectory stays on course, hes more than capable of escaping the shadow of his fathers greatness and stand shoulder to shoulder as an equally influential wrestler when its all said and done. It cannot be denied that without Cody, there is no AEW. If it wasnt for him taking that leap of faith alongside Kenny Omega, Hangman & The Bucks, the landscape of the wrestling world would look very desolate. And for that I am forever grateful. Ill always remember when Cody started out with Orton and DiBiasse Jr, I personally wouldve never imagined that he would become one of the most important figures in modern wrestling. In his time away from WWE, he went on an absolute tear in the indies, with appearances in ROH, NWA, Impact and most importantly NJPW. As a former member of the iconic Bullet Club stable, we began to see the DNA of this American Nightmare character the world knows and loves. He returned to the WWE with a different aura, his mind made up and a character that he hand crafted into a worldwide brand. A very pivotal moment in Codys return was competing in a Hell in a Cell match with a bruised pectoral muscle. The visual of that injury showed that Cody is a warrior and willing to do whatever it takes to reach the top. After winning the Rumble and losing to Roman at Wrestlemania 39, he dusted himself off and continued to work his way back into the main event of Wrestlemania by winning the rumble a second time, joining the likes of HBK and Steve Austin as Superstars who won back to back. At the time of this writing I can honestly say we are witnessing Cody in his prime and he is one of the hottest superstars in this modern era. You cant help but root for the guy. Great on the mic, could definitely hang with great talkers such as CM Punk and the Rock, and when put against the right opponent, could tell some amazing stories in the ring. I truly believe in Cody Rhodes, and if hes the next superstar to carry us in to the new era, then well be in great hands. Legend in the making for sure."

"Cody's come a long way - a lifer who built is own path to perennial main eventer. Truly a legendary journey and one the best ongoing stories currently in wrestling, culminating it what is sure to be a championship win at Wrestlemania 40."

[10.0] "simply put Cody Rhodes is the most important wrestler of the last 10 years. His story on the indies brought me back to wrestling when I read about him.top notch character work, promo... He can go with anyone in the ring. Hes whitemeat, despite the iwc begging for him to be heel, he's the perfect modern babyface. His matches with Aldis, Omega, Rollins, Brock, Shin, MJF, Jericho, Jeff Cobb, Andrade, Sammy, Dustin, Darby...his return to WWE started a new era. The Rock was retweeting his AEW promos back in 2019. Of course Rock is trying to work with him. Cody is the guy, embrace it and acknowledge that Tony Khan let him slip through his fingers. maybe the greatest of all time when its done."

[10.0] "From undesirable to undeniable, Cody has cemented himself as the biggest superstar in the world. Genuinely the greatest babyface of the last twenty years, mostly because he is the only babyface that managed to keep the entirety of the crowd behind him. No "Cody sucks" chants, no "anyone but you" backlash, he has reached a high enough level, he managed to get The Rock booed."

[10.0] "The greatest babyface of the modern era in my opinion. No one works as hard as Cody and no one makes the audience feels so much in 2024 as much as Cody Rhodes. The absolute next face of the company and probably one of the greatest promos of our generation. No one has made a blue-eyed babyface work like this since John Cena."

[8.0] "Cody in WWE back in the day was a perfectly fine mid card act. His story is considerably more interesting when he decided to walk out. He successfully marketed himself incredibly well and he does need to be recognised as a hugely important part of modern wrestling history with everything that followed. In AEW, he somewhat got stuck in the Codyverse which sometimes delivered gold but as often as not also stank out the joint. He is not a top level worker when the bell rings but in the right circumstances and environment he can produce a compelling match. He will at some point get the belt ( never really understood the whole finish the story thing related to his dad. Dusty was not a WWF guy so why would he care about not being champion? ) but he is always going to be the bridesmaid and never the bride. Shit neck tattoo though."

[10.0] "It will be interesting to see where he's at this time next year. With the whole 2024 Royal Rumble debacle not having played out completely, we'll see how much damage has been done to Cody Rhodes. But for the past two years he somehow made a mass audience accept a sincere babyface."

[0.0] "I think he totally sucks.In his first run in WWE he was boring as hell.Stardust is just a fucking joke.In AEW he was most boring and bad act in whole company.Second run in land of McMahon's only he is doing is talking about his father (R.I.P Dusty) and story.The story nobody cares about becuse he is just that terrible.About his ring work he is decent enough but i think a Cross Rhodes is little to weak to be a finisher.Compered to his dad or his brother he is just weak link in family.He isn't look like a megastar when you luck on him face to face to Roman Reigns he looks like a fan who jumper to the ring.I don't know how he is a main eventer.I think he can't belong in main event of Global Force Wrestling.Maybe he wears a Homelander ettire but he is nothing more than a walking action figure."

[4.0] "Cody is the fortunate one in the family, capitalizing on his father's legacy far more than his brother. Despite lacking charisma and possessing only average in-ring skills, he has undeservingly managed to ascend to the main event. He continues to construct his persona by adopting a mundane "man on a mission" character and leveraging his father's heritage."

[10.0] "Was never a fan of Cody, especially his brief run with AEW, until he came back to the WWE. What else can I say about this man? Cody's amazing and was born to be a star. Now that he won the Royal Rumble for the second time in a row, it's time for him to finish the story!"

[10.0] "He is a better version of John Cena and a unique mixture of a bunch of different eras but still forward thinking. Hopefully once he gets the title he can really get some programs to sink his teeth into and elevate the rest of the show/roster. Looking forward to it."

[10.0] "I mean from undesirable to undeniable says it all really. Easily been my favourite wrestler for the past 2 years. WM38 was my first event I watched live in probably 10 years. I always kept up with clips etc. But never watched any shows. I knew about AEW but not alot, I knew Cody was part of creating the company though. Building up to WM38 I have heard about the rumours and saw Seths setup. But still words can not describe watching the match Seth came out we wre waiting for his opponent I was so intrigued at this point then we heard Wrestling has more than 1 Royal Family. As I have not been following AEW really I was still not sure if its Cody , then he came out from the ground I saw him last 10+ years ago as Dashing Cody Rhodes and Stardust so when i saw what he transformed to I was stunned for words. The commentary was great especially Corey Graves line saying One of the highest inring IQ of this generation. He went on had an absolute classic with Seth , repeated 2 more classics with Seth to win the feud and HOC match with a messed up chest went on to get a 5 star from Dave Meltzer which WWE doesnt often get, got injured, came back won the Rumble had a fantastic mini match with Gunther as the last 2 remaining in the rumble. Shouldve won at WM but his time will come. All I can say is this man is my hero he is amazing in ring amazing promos ie his promo with Punk this past RAW. And he will complete his story he will go down as an absolute Legend, Hall of Famer. And along the way his old man The Son Of A Plumber , The American Dream Dusty Rhodes will be looking down at him from the heavens with a smile on his face, Cody you made your dad proud you are Dustys little boy and he is very very proud of you from heaven."

He is one of the best promos in game, not the best but very good in the ring and can have a great match with anyone, has the crowd in the palm of his hand be it as a babyface now or as a heel previously. More than aforementioned things, he has one of the best minds in wrestling industry. He is a pioneer and a visionary. no matter what he wins as a performer his greatest achievement will forever be the fact that he showed thousands of wrestlers how to do it outside wwe and gave them a platform to show what they are capable of."

[9.0] "THE guy. The new Superman. The new Hogan, the new Cena, and with a family name that certifies it. Circumstances ensured that AEW held him back ironically. WWE offers none of that, and Rhodes has been ascending to the top of the mountain ever since,"

[10.0] "Probably the worst and least accurate rating on Cagematch. I personally don't remember seeing Cody Rhodes on WWE when I watched as a kid, but I have seen most of his work this year and I can comfortably say that this guy has it all. He is charismatic, great on the mic, amazing in-ring abilty and he has a cool af costume, an interesting gimmick, an awesome entrance theme and the crowd loves him. WWE should give him a long and epic title reign."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes gives me the vibe of a top tier babyface from the 1980s NWA, a man who is very old school and knows how to work. He's a very good wrestler, babyface, heel, talker, seller, bumper and storyteller, Cody Rhodes has all the tools to become the next big star in the company if WWE stop being deep into "The Bloodline" story and give Cody his moment. Despite his run in AEW were filled with issues and not having personality in his early years in WWE, he's came a long way from where he was before and has shown he can hang as a main eventer, could fill the shoes of John Cena when he retires."

[9.0] "Fantastic promo, holds the crowd in the palm of his hand. Fantastic wrestler who can utilize both simple and complex maneuvers paired with a very intelligent 80s NWA style of psychology and selling. Beloved by children and adults alike. Hes a 9 for now, but a 10 one he finishes the story."

[8.0] "Cody coming back to the wwe definitely stains his legacy in some ways, while elevating it in others. All he said about how the E doesnt own wrestling, how this is a revolution, how its time for an alternative, all of the shots he took... it aged like milk and rings very hollow now. He destroyed triple h's throne only to come crawling back to bow before it ffs. But then again, he came back a made man and proved he can work the wwe main event style very successfully, be an excellent character that fits the mold he always liked to be, and proved that wrestlers can go the other way and be successful. Its a shame though because all of his problems in aew, as far as what we know for sure, stem from his unwillingness to turn heel. That's the thing though, when this guy was on the indies and njpw, he was the best villian on the planet. Truly despicable and immensely charismatic. He is so much more compelling as a heel than a face, I really hope he has a heel run in the wwe, but that seems unlikely for now. As a pure wrestler, he's just good. He can hold up his end but needs someone more interesting to elevate his matches."

[9.0] "Cody rhodes a talented fighter but who everyone hates for abusing their creative control. in WWE it was somewhat underrated And on AEW it's super overrated. and instead of helping young talents, he buries them; and almost always wins And he lives in the shadow of his legendary father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes. And now he is back en WWE And now he is tag team champion with Jimmy Uso in 2023"

[8.0] "Cody had big things going for him but sadly Vince Mcmahon decided he wasn't good enough to be a maint eventer. And then he became one of the biggest draws of ROH. And then, he founded AEW with the Bucks, Omega & Tony, he became one of the biggest and brightest star in AEW consistently delivering good to great matches. Came back to WWE and main evented a WrestleMania and became one of its big draws."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes is undeniably one of the best wrestlers of this generation. If I was rating him from 7-8 years ago, I would not believe myself for rating him this high. Similar to Drew McIntyre, Cody was a low to mid card talent who put in the hell of the work to become one of the top stars of the company. His promos have gotten redundant but I cannot deny the passion and energy he always brings when he has the microphone in hand. He can easily invest someone to storylines and has never failed to connect to the audience with what he had to say. He is incredibly good in the ring and is always bound to have a great to near-perfect match with just about anybody. He is not on the level of Omega or Danielson but he performs very well when the bell rings. His character work is amazing (but clearly better as a face) and has done a great job at forming his character from the ground up since that trashy gimmick called Stardust. Cody reinvented himself in AEW and is now dominating in WWE as a top star. Cody Rhodes for future WWE Undisputed Universal Champion!"

Aber man merkte langsam auch, dass das Nightmare-Family-Stable nicht das Gelbe vom Ei war. Zu aufdringlich und plakativ wurde Cody in diesem als überaus wichtig und legendär dargestellt. Ihm hat der Wechsel zu WWE enorm gutgetan! Hier ist er mit seiner sehr zugänglichen sowie mitreißenden Art und seinem schillernden Auftreten genau auf dem richtigen Weg. Er hat seinen Rhythmus gefunden und weiß genau, wo er hinwill. Ich denke, Cody wird schon noch den Undisputed- oder World Heavyweight Title bekommen. Wenn er einen der beiden nach großer Mühsal und "Hard Times" dann letztlich doch gewinnt, hätte das den riesen Impact, den er vielleicht noch benötigt, um zu einem absoluten Topstar der Liga aufzusteigen! Seine Wrestling-Skills sind ebenfalls sehr ordentlich; er hat einen abwechslungsreichen, flüssigen Wrestlingstil und seine Matches sind daher auf hohem Niveau. Da fällt es mir nicht schwer, von 7 auf 9 Punkte hochzugehen. Sein jetziger WWE-Run dauert noch nicht so lange an - aber wenn er es schafft, über einen noch längeren Zeitraum konstant auf diesem Level zu bleiben und dann vielleicht sogar dieser große Impact erfolgt, indem er einen der beiden World Titles gewinnt (dass er Champion wird, ist für mich nicht unbedingt nötig), gebe ich auch die vollen 10 Punkte."

[6.0] "If you asked me 10 years ago, he would have a 8 or 9, but his last 3 or 4 years has been on par with the collapse the New York Mets have every year once the playoffs start getting close. He seemed to be doing well in AEW, but then he had an All-American Hero character, then went to being a "holier-than-thou" character that acted like AEW was nothing and he went crawling back to WWE because he kept talking about a story that WWE never mentioned and blew that as well due to favoritism by Triple-H. He may seem to be a good character, but his constant assertion that things should go his way has made him seem a lot more annoying to me and he seems to be reverting to his brat gimmick that he had in Legacy. I think Cody has the tools to succeed, but until his behavior and work gets back to their peak, he's in the middle for me."

[9.0] "Cody's evolution has been so fun to watch. Started as a very entertaining midcarder who I always enjoyed watching, and his time in the Legacy made for an entertaining storyline. His time away from WWE allowed for him to evolve into a main event wrestler, and his return has been nothing short of incredible."

[8.0] "A curious case. I fell in love with Cody's character while he worked ROH and especially New Japan. Whether he was the flashy new BC recruit, making the audience kiss his ring and mugging wildly for the camera, or his scenery chewing villainy during the Bullet Club Civil War, as he stalked and assaulted the Golden Lovers with boundary pushing sexual harassment - this period of his was where he felt the most organic. His hyper babyface, all-American gimmick looks like a million dollar superstar, but ultimately feels artificial. He was unwilling to pivot in AEW as the crowds turned, but time will tell how it plays out in WWE, where that might never be an issue. As a ring worker, he is a willing workhorse, putting on acceptable matches and his body on the line, that entertains but never reaches athletic greatness. Excels when given a good storyline and promo direction."

[8.0] "Cody is amazing in the ring and cuts very emotional promos if he's involved in a big storyline. It's a good thing he reinvented himself outside of WWE and has multiple modern-day classics to his resume in several promotions. His booking is questionable in WWE's case, as I don't see how he basically proves himself as unbeatable by winning a Hell in a Cell match against Rollins with a torn pec... and then loses to Reigns after some weak interference from Usos and Sikoa."

[10.0] "Great in the ring, incredible, captivating promos and someone who really draws you into the story of his matches. His current run in WWE has been incredible from the beginning and the pay off is looking to be massive."

[10.0] "Perfect in-ring, perfect on the mic, perfect as a face, perfect as a heel, Cody Rhodes is the textbook example of what a wrestler should be."

[9.0] "Cody has proven himself to be a major star. In his first run in WWE, he was a little green but still had moments where he seemed like he could break out into the main event but never got there. Once he got stuck with the bad Stardust character he left, and you saw his amazing mind for the business. He association with the Elite to get over the indy fans anti-WWE sentiments. He got over with every crowd. All Out was an amazing idea and show for him and his feud with Aldis was one of the best feuds of both mens careers. AEW was good for him at the beginning, but the crowd began to turn. He leveraged AEW to get a better deal in WWE and reach his potential. In the ring he has improved throughout his career and has some of the best psychology and storytelling abilities in the business today. He also has great mic skills and charisma to get over with the crowd."

[8.0] "Cody has never been the best in the ring or on the microphone, but he is an extremely important figure in modern wrestling, helping to create and develop many things and changing the way many people in North America look at wrestling outside of WWE. I'm glad that he managed to develop himself into a credible and star-studded character, who despite all the criticism, delivers good stuff."

[10.0] "There are better wrestlers working today but there's no wrestler at the moment that I love more than Cody Rhodes. I pop for his matches, I pop for his promos, I pop for his interviews, I even own a shirt of him. Just love the guy."

[8.0] "He's great, isn't he? Full of himself? sure. prone to being a bit naff? Course. And at times can he be an absolute heat vacuum? Yeah. But he's an asset to every company he's worked for. WWE, WCPW, NJPW, ROH, AEW he's been a big draw in all of them. He is the modern-day Hogan for better or worse. A great storyteller and solid worker who completely revolutionized mainstream pro wrestling. The problem is that he is so prone to becoming stale. His refusal to change his gimmick since 2017 has damaged him and he only gets fresh again when he changes scenery. The bullet club civil war was rubbish, the codyverse was rubbish. His ROH run got bad towards the end and I imagine WWE audiences will probably turn on him within 18 months but I pray I'm proven wrong because he deserves that feel-good WWE title run (even if I only watch the fed on rare occasions). The fantasy booker in me really wants to see mega heel Cody in AEW but he has reached legend status at this point so he can do anything and he'll still be the talk of the town."

[7.0] "Didn't think of him much back in 2008 but he came a long way and is now one of the hottest talents of the last 2 or 3 years. Not much else to say."

He has wrestled the best two matches of the past two years against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. He proved that hes a draw on his own against Brock Lesnar. He cuts the best babyface promos in the business. And his connection back to the greatest era for American wrestling through his father is felt in every one of his appearances. Cody Rhodes is the real deal."

[6.0] "Can have great matches. Is competent on the mic but can make some really questionable and corny choices. Character wise I've never felt he really found something great. The idea he has in his head is usually something very old school pure babyface, but he's such an insecure and self conscious seeming guy that the sincerity doesn't really come through. That caught up with him in AEW and it remains to be seen if it will in WWE, but I suspect so."

[7.0] "I remember the early days on YouTube where there was a meme of Cody Rhodes' titantron with one fan standing up and clapping as he made his way to the ring. He has come A LONG WAY since then. He went from a generic babyface teaming with Hardcore Holly, to becoming a detestable heel alongside Ted DiBiase Jr., and Randy Orton in Legacy. Once Legacy ended, he really stepped up his game with the "Dashing" Cody Rhodes character and the short lived "Grotesque" version. Seemed to loose his footing within the WWE after this point, ended up with a terrible Stardust gimmick that probably would've finished him off in WWE if he didn't leave in 2016. He has proven to the world that he can do it in pretty much any promotion, even though is AEW work seems to get a lot of hate, I still think he did a decent job. His comeback to WWE has been great thus far and his Royal Rumble win just proves how far he has come since becoming the son of Dusty Rhodes. I believe he has stepped out of his fathers shadow, and only time will tell if he becomes the star he truly thinks he can be."

[9.0] "I hated Cody's run in AEW, it felt so out of place with all his drama with the Nightmare Family, the UKxUSA thing, etc. But since his return to the WWE, I loved most of the work and his segments are usually the highlight of the shows."

[8.0] "Cody should be getting a lot of credit. First and foremost he's a great promo channeling a lot of what made his father. People need also be fair with his in ring work. His TNT title runs show he can hang with just about everyone. He also willing to make changes. Guy brings both steak and sizzle. So the last couble years 2 big flaws for Cody have been exposed. He is 100% convinced he can get any idea over and he loves to repeat a lot of his ideas. Its part of what hurt him in the end in AEW."

Great return and trilogy with Seth Rollins, gave Seth his first five star, as well as wwes first main roster five star In a looooong time (though I dont regard biased meltzer as the guy that decides whether a match is five star or not), wrestled with a torn pec, had one of the best final two rumble appearances against Gunther and has been amazing on the mic in the lead up to his match with Roman. This guy deserves the title and is gonna be a top star for years to come"

[9.0] "As of right now, Cody is one of the last pure babyfaces left in wrestling. I got pretty sick of him in AEW, but he fits the WWE style like a glove and it's like he's come back to life again. He is a reinvigorated performer. It's really hard not to respect the guy. WWE has a potential megastar in it's hands, let's hope they don't let it slip away."

Cody is what aspiring wrestlers should model themselves after."

Has fantastic in-ring ability, good speed, incredible body control, can sell, draws emotional investment from the crowd. He's a fantastic talent and arguably the best in the world. Can be melodramatic and overwrought, but more times than not, it's incredible work with fantastic matches. His trilogy vs Rollins was special."

He got a lot of stick as the "3 star general" for a while but that's because he's from the old school where he paces his matches and focuses on the psychology instead of just MOVES. He understands how the business works better than possibly anyone else these days and his whole arc from leaving WWE to going back as a superstar is just excellent. AEW served a purpose for him but in reality the majority of his co-workers and the fans just aren't interested in that old school style so it was never going to be a long-term thing."

[10.0] "I've been following Cody's career since 2017 and there's isn't another wrestler that has made me care about what they do in and out of the ring more than Cody. After leaving WWE, Cody went on a path that really surprised me. He wrestled on every independent promotion throughout the world and started interacting and building a relationship with those hardcore wrestling fans that last saw him as 'Stardust' and even before nothing more than a 'Midcard' wrestler (me included). But, then he joined the bullet club which at the time seemed very out of the left field considering the type of wrestlers already in the group. But, rather than changing his identity to fit that of the group, he stuck to being himself. That immediately made him completely unique from everybody else. While others were focusing on putting on the best bell to bell matches, Cody focused on what he was best at which was telling a story, whether it's in a promo or in the ring. That led us to 'All In', the first non WWE/WCW promoted pro wrestling event in US to sell 10k+ tickets since 1993 and it sold out in under 30 minutes, which then led to the creation of AEW. I loved his AEW run except those stretch of few months where he feuded with The Factory (QT/Ogogo). I get that he tried to establish a faction that included his friends/students but that whole thing just seemed very below him. Other than that feud, I thoroughly enjoyed his AEW run. I would've loved for him to stay in AEW but after seeing him return at wrestlemania to that ovation, it warmed my heart. I loved his feud with Seth and everything they did together. They've unbelievable chemistry together. I was bummed to see him get injured during quite possibly the best run of his career but going out with that legendary HIAC match and that career defining performance encapsulates why he is one of the best wrestlers of this era. I hope he recovers well from the injury and returns next year at Royal Rumble (as expected), wins it and goes on to headline either night of Wrestlemania and finally fulfills his lifelong dream of winning the world championship that he promised his father as a kid he would win, by defeating and ending a legendary run in an undefeated Roman Reigns. That moment, whenever it happens, will be the single greatest moment for me as a wrestling fan. From Dusty's kid to Legacy to Dashing and then undashing to Stardust to an independent wrestler to The American Nightmare, Cody has improved and has had more growth throughout his wrestling career than anyone i've ever seen which is why i believe there are still fans who overlook his growth and still see him as that 'Midcard' guy they were introduced to over a decade ago. It is pretty unfathomable to think the guy who was once 'Stardust' headlining a Wrestlemania and beating one of the most protected champions in wrestling history. But to quote the man himself, "It's about the 14 years it took me to go from Undesirable to Un-goddamn-deniable" :)"

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes made a bet on himself after being fired from the WWE, for which he deserves to be commended as it paid off massively. Cody worked the independents, ROH and NJPW with mostly positive results. He was very much liked and arguably did his best work across the indies and in ROH, but he failed to get over in NJPW. I think that was due to his style being very old-school and western and Kenny Omega being the gaijin megastar who people were dying to see. Cody in AEW was a mixed bag, starting off great with his best match yet against his brother Dustin Rhodes, to him chasing down The Inner Circle on Dynamite and breaking the glass of the skybox they were hiding in, to being whipped by MJF, to locking himself out of winning the AEW championship in a storyline. Cody won the TNT title, lost it to Darby and everything seemed to go downhill from there. He cut awful promos about America going against the big bad foreigners like we're in the 80's, apparently resolved racism and once fans were able to come back he was met with comparisons to Homelander from The Boys. The gimmick of The American Nightmare, despite obviously being a tribute to the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, is one of the worst in the business today. His presentation in the WWE is incredibly obnoxious and his promos have a tendency to be pretentious and overlong, but Cody can make magic when he's able to put his blatantly apparent ego to one side. Cody has made his mark on professional wrestling history but will always be the guy who rode the coattails of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks to get to where he is today. We will surely see a heel Cody Rhodes return to AEW to chase after the world championship once he has completed his arc in WWE of doing what his father couldn't."

He's an average wrestler who failed to get over in AEW cause he wanted to be like his Dad who was leagues better then he is and once he got back to WWE people just began to stroke his ego. The most infuriating thing of his current run is his Hell in a Cell match where he still worked the match with a torn chest and people suddenly began to say that was amazing when it was an absolutely stupid thing to do that could have ended his carrer and what do we see after? More ego stroking. I can't stand him and i hope his run flops"

[9.0] "Perfect blend of old school and new school. Can tell an amazing story and is a great baby face. He can also do off the top rope stuff and has good technical capabilities. Soon to be world champ."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes is that wrestler that I would have never imagined that he would reinvent himself and have a better character, and now he's back in WWE with it. Hopefully when he recovers from his injury they will do some good storylines with him."

[9.0] "It's sad to see that after a long-awaited return to WWE Rhodes had a major injury. I understand that he may be over-hyped, as before he left WWE he wasn't a big name although when he returned, he was all of a sudden a massive star. His in ring working with Seth Rollins was fantastic however."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes went from WWE behind a painted face, while putting on under-rated matches to headlining PPVS in AEW and being considered one of the biggest names in wresting."

[10.0] "Updating this since he's returned to WWE. I HATED Cody Rhodes in AEW. His booking was terrible, he always felt like he was in an alternate world from everyone else on the show. His promos were babbling nonsense, and for the most part I didn't like his matches. Then he came back to WWE, and after his incredible WrestleMania match with Seth Rollins, I was willing to give him another chance. Turns out all Cody needed was a change of scenery to become one of my favorite wrestlers. His match quality has improved massively. In AEW he was forced into the overly contrived spot fest style. Now, he's telling great stories in his matches and his selling is incredible. He feels, looks, and is booked like a top star. I've never seen such a huge turnaround for a wrestler."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes is quite quickly becoming one of the most important figures in the WWE, following trouble at AEW his return at WM was incredibly well orchestrated. Prior to this his journeyman approach of Wrestling for various promotions before becoming a major part of the AEW team. His WWE matches with Rollins have all been excellent especially his valiant effort at HIAC this year. I believe we shall soon see Cody Rhodes with the title."

"Amazing wrestler with some of the most memorable matches ive ever seen in my 20+ years of wrestling fandom.. Still in his 30's and the level of impact he has had on the wrestling business, multiple times no less, is INSANE! Hope he becomes the world champion in WWE and has a memorable reign... After Hiac, HE DESERVES IT!"

[8.0] "I watched his entire OVW tenure (luck of location at the time), and I had never in all of my years as a wrestling fan seen someone learn and improve so quickly. His ring and mic skills began to excel exponentially at such a rate, that there was no choice but to call him to the main roster. Unfortunately, it was still to soon and I feel his career sputtered because of that. However watching from afar (being an active retro fan but watching zero% new content for approximately a decade), I see he has again excelled in the business. Perhaps too much, as there is a certain smugness that he developed that I find very off putting. At any rate; I probably WILL revisit his career, that is something I can't say for most others in this modern generation of wrestlers."

[10.0] "I didn't like Cody in AEW after DoN 2021, though he was awfully boring, but since coming back to WWE he's the MVP even tho he was there 2 month before getting injured (which I believe will be a blessing in disguise for him when he come's back). Speaking of the now already infamous torn triceps was one of the most gutsiest thing in wrestling history. Was it dumb : yes, do I regret seeing it and enjoying it : hell no. I thing Cody's future will shine as bright as the sun"

The "three-star legend" stuff used to be funny but since the inception of AEW he has grown as an in-ring worker so much and now I think he consistently offers up one of the best matches on the card, regardless of the scenery. Awesome move-set and a sweet finisher. Cool entrance and a flair for the dramatic, with a real knack for long-term storytelling."

[7.0] "[Update from 2.0 to 7.0] Dang, I almost wanna say I've completely turned the page on him because he's that good now, but I think it really was just a change in scenery that revived him. In AEW he was pigeonholed into being a gatekeeper because they thought that was smart booking, now in WWE I actually look forward to seeing him. I hope they end the Rollins feud and let him move on to Balor or someone else. His booking and character in AEW were godawful, he's much better now. [Old Review]: It's funny how only now people are taking off their BC glasses and seeing this guy for what he truly is. An overrated, genuinely arrogant, and egotistical out of touch wrestler who doesn't understand what fans actually want. When he retires, I really hope he does become a politician, so he can waste his time ruining Georgia more than it already is. Generic look, got a job only because of his actually talented dad and underrated as hell older brother, and canNOT wrestle. Am I being a little harsh' Maybe. But I'm not knocking this guy as a person since I don't know that aspect of him, he's just got no business being in the wrestling business, zero appeal. Don't wait till 40 my guy, please leave now, everyone's woken up to how bad you really are."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes ist definitiv ein's der kreativsten und stärksten Wrestling Persönlichkeiten, in den letzten Jahren. Es gibt wirklich nix was der Mann in den letzten Jahren nicht "Nicht" getan hat. Seit 2016/17 machten der Mann (Nachdem er von der WWE entlassen wurde) die Indy-Ligen unsicher, von da aus ging es Straight zu Wrestling Ligen die einen Starken Stand gehabt haben, wie IMPACT Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, bis hin nach Japan zum Japanischen Marktführer "New Japan Pro Wrestling". Von da aus zusammen mit den Bucks und Kenny Omega einfach mal Eine Konkurrenz zur WWE in's leben gerufen, die durch Tony Khan auch die Finanziellen Möglichkeiten gehabt hat, es zu was großem zu machen. Einfach mal All Elite Wrestling gegründet und der Rest ist einfach Geschichte! Nachdem er dann zur WWE gewechselt ist im April 2022, hat der Mann mich offiziell überzeugt, dass er für mich einer der Größten und besten Mastermind's im kompletten Businesses ist! Bis hin zum Hell In A Cell Match was er mit einem Absolut abgerissenen Brustmuskel geworked hat. Schade das er jetzt wirklich 9 Monate (! ) Ausfällt. Nicht nur schade für die Zudchauer zuhause oder in den Hallen, sondern auch einfach für Rhodes selber, der für mich momentan der größte Star im Gesamten Roster ist (Gemeinsam mit dem WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns). Wrestlerisch hat er sich in den letzten Jahren seit 2016 auch extrem verbessert und man sieht einfach wie viel Liebe und Arbeit der man in seine Aufgaben steckt ist einfach fantastisch und hat somit einfach die 10 Punkte verdient! Hoffe das er sich schnell wieder erholt und stärker und besser wieder kommt."

[10.0] "Skills wise Cody is probably an 8 or 9 a good wrestlers who can have great matches and tell wonderful stories but can be boring if the match does not have a special feel. Impact and passion for Cody is a 10. Leaving WWE because he felt that he could be a better star to being an indy star and co-founding AEW to leave there as well once he was creatively stuck by the booking. Returning to the WWE and wrestling a match with an aready torn peck against Rollins pretty much sealed it that Cody is one of the most important performers in the history of wrestling."

[8.0] "Cody is really tough to rate, on one hand there's the braggadocious, egotistical, out of touch guy that makes angles like the Ogogo disaster, but on the otherhand there's the world class pro wrestler that can put on brilliant stories like the one with Dustin. He's regularly put guys over, but his track record is a bit hit or miss. Cody is a complicated wrestler to look at, as his presence as a face drove the fans away from him thus making him a heel, but he has proven to be one of the better natural babyfaces. An allrounder in the true sense. No clue what is future is but he is must-watch. EDIT: He also ended racism, can't forget about that."

[10.0] "He has the look, the lineague, the in-ring skills, the promo and now in WWE the presentation of a main event blockbuster talent. Cody in 2022 went from being an unwanted presence in AEW to the most intriguing thing in wrestling. His performance in Hell in a Cell 2022 transcended him into mythical stature. WWE need to capitalise on his momentum as soon as he recovers and make him world champ."

[7.0] "I really enjoy watching Cody. He has a great look, is a good worker, and can play any character that's handed to him incredibly well."

[8.0] "I am not a constant watcher of wrestling anymore but I do come back and watch short clips here and there of newer talents or anyone who is on television. Ever since the return at Wrestlemania he has been hitting main media with all positive comments and seems like a humble guy. I usually watch the paper views such as Wrestlemania or the Royal Rumble every year like I did this year and his return got an absolutely amazing interaction with the audience from at home, in the arena and online. Well favourited individual where his match against Seth Rollins at WM was top tier which shows a casual watcher who no longer is a huge fan that wrestling is still alive and running well with modern audiences. This young man has a future ahead of him."

In all seriousness Cody Rhodes is probably the greatest wrestler this world has ever produced, we are genuinely lucky to be alive to witness his work. He will receive a 10 once he wins the WWE title. Cody wrestling a hell in a cell match with a torn pec may be one of the coldest things I've ever seen in pro wrestling. Is there anything my King can't do? !"

[9.0] "I always knew that Cody was good, but not this good! On HIAC he showed how he is one of the greatest wrestlers today. He definitely is pretty dumb for risking his life, but I've never seen such passion before and that should be admired."

[10.0] "How can you give this man anything but a 10, he wrestled a full match with a torn pectoral muscle, went through a flaming table, and jumped off the top of a steel cage. This man will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time."

The fact that he willingly stepped into a ring in spite of having endured a terrible pec injury and still managed to put on a career defining performance is absolutely insane. I'm just in awe of this guy. Whether the match should've happened or not, and it probably shouldn't have, is one thing. But ... the passion of Cody Rhodes is unlike any other."

[10.0] "Honest to god one of the funniest guys I've ever seen in wrestling with how seriously he takes himself. So much so he's one of my favorite guys in the world. It's ridiculous how stupid some of his matches get and how far he goes. He can singlehandedly get me back into watching the WWE he's that damn compelling"

[10.0] "History really will look at Cody as one of the most ambitious and dedicated professional wrestlers of his time. His initial in WWE was a mixed bag overall, but mainly because WWE didn't see much in him, however he had really good heel work as part of the legacy faction, as well as his dashing and undashing persona. He then went to prove himself a capable mid-carder by winning the IC title, though WWE saw little in him and basically gave him a copy and paste of Goldust's gimmick and named Stardust. Cody would soon leave WWE and went on to win the ROH world title and the NWA title to prove he really was much better WWE believed he was, ultimately playing a significant in the elite faction. The faction would play a massive role foundation of AEW and Cody once again proved how great he could be although, losing the match at Full Gear ultimately held him back as he would permanently be stuck in the mid-card division. Nevertheless, his decision to return to WWE has proven to be the wisest choice he could make as he returned with the gimmick he used outside WWE and has really once and for proven, that he has turned from undesirable to undeniable. Here's hoping he eventually becomes WWE Champion."

[9.0] "Really love this guy since day one. He's one of the best wrestler in the world. Hope he will get the push he deserved many years ago in WWE."

AEW is an example - he had everything! Creative control, big salary, he was vice president and participated in the so-called revolution where he read seemingly meaningless beautiful speeches! And everything seemed to be perfect, but as it turned out, his inner EGO played a major role ... but now he is back in WWE and seems to be "happy" until the moment when he is again sent to the midcard."

[5.0] "If it isn't the 3-star savior Cody Rhodes. Major props to him for his contributions with regards to All In and the creation of AEW but the whole tone-deaf Ogogo feud and the Cody verse stuff just made me hate the Cody the wrestler"

[5.0] "For every great thing this guy does, he does about 3 ridiculous or cringeworthy things. I was a huge Cody fan in 2019 at the start of AEW, but that quickly dropped off. Him constantly booking himself to go over new signings for AEW and doing the lame Codelander gimmick. Plus that neck tattoo is really stupid. Whole thing comes off as being a mark for himself. He was way, WAY better when Dustin was around him."

[8.0] "Really good. Very good wrestler, good on the mic, good character work, etc. very polarizing but charismatic individual. Glad he returned to wwe, he adds to the product, aew doesn? t need him, wwe does. It? s a win win. Wishing the best for Cody."

[9.0] "I gave him an 8 originally but since he has came back to wwe he has been one of the most interesting things about the company"

[9.0] "You can't find anyone else who really made himself after being released more than Cody Rhodes. Yes, there's Drew McIntyre who rode the independent scene winning titles in Impact and WCPW. But no one did it like Cody. He went to NJPW, Defy, ROH. He joined the bullet club when they were at their height of popularity with The Elite. And then, made the biggest competitor to WWE in years. Yes, he did stray apart when he started the Ogoggo feud when people desperately wanted him to turn heel. But, at WrestleMania 38, he came back to WWE with an amazing return. His in-ring IQ is great, and he can do one hell of a promo (if it's not about solving racism)."

[9.0] "Pretty underrated for sure. Maybe not one of the absolute top best wrestlers ever or even of today but he has been in some amazing matches and has a ton of great moves. Very interesting character within the wrestling world today as well in relation to his recent move back to WWE. The events of the last 6-7 years have elevated his position to amongst the most significant persons in wrestling and WWE are right to cash-in."

[7.0] "Was always really underrated during his initial WWE run. Had a good moveset, could easily compete in a tag team, could speak and nailed every character he was given. However since he's broken off as a "top tier" singles competitor, I haven't been too impressed. I think he's a character driven mostly by story than by his actual ability at this stage, and unless that story is absolutely fantastic I'm just not feeling it. Maybe he'll have a great run now that he's back in WWE and they might allow him to tell these stories, but I actually don't really feel much connection to WWE for him now. I don't feel he has any history with any of the current guys, which is what would drive someone like him forward, but perhaps I'll be surprised. I think he's a solid wrestler, but not a spectacular one."

[8.0] "Two years ago I left a negative review on Cody where I complained about excessive creative control, but about six months ago Cody started to pleasantly surprise me as a wrestler and as a person. Now that Cody has left AEW for reasons only he understands (though it's not hard to guess which ones), he's back in WWE as a true top star, showing the world that he himself has no regrets and Vince McMahon is not as scary as said in Jacksonville. Shame on Tony Khan for not keeping someone in the company without whom AEW certainly wouldn't exist."

[6.0] "Yeah. He is the son of a legend, and grand-son of a plumber and he also founded AEW. But the guy has semi-retired in 2021, and only returned every 3 to 4 weeks, with a big-time angle that mostly featured him overcoming odds, and burying new talent in the process (Malakai Black, Anthony Ogogo, Andrade). Tries way too hard to become some form of mix between Triple-H and Dusty Rhodes with his dramatic entrances and bone-headed promos (using big words in the wrong context). Way too "sports entertainment", and better suited for the WWE. Too bad he left WWE because he wasn't "getting his due" there. Lets see how his 2022 run in WWE will work out. Provided he will come to terms with WWE."

[7.0] "Assets: His promo skills and psychology are underrated. Isn't afraid to bet on himself and has seen his success transcend beyond wrestling as a result. Has served dutifully as a midcard champion at the highest level (and as a main eventer at a national and minor league level.) - - - Flaws: Can be plodding at times in the ring. Has a tendency to draw the wrong type of heat given his placement and visibility on the card. Seems to be better cast as a midcard attraction wrestler than someone who would be a consistent main eventer. - - - Career Potential: Notable major league midcard attraction wrestler and competent league-level main eventer."

[7.0] "Cody is a decent, probably underrated in-ring worker, but my GOD is his character work some of the best I've ever seen. By leaning into the general sentiment that Cody is overpushed/uncool, AEW have actually made him cool and his matches compelling again because of how immensely interesting his mixing of pure babyface spots and pure heel spots is, leading to arguments as to whether he's truly either role. In reality, he's clearly a new sort of heel-leaning tweener -- a normal dude desperate to be a heroic good guy but stuck with complex emotions surrounding that aspiring identity as a result of constant roadblocks that force him to justify acting villainously for the sake of the 'heroic' ends. In trying so desperately to remain a loveable hero, that sense of status and duty has gone to his head. And as the fans turned, Cody realised he should instead focus on looking out for himself -- a very understandable and relatable motive. At first he was only an unintentional villain, but now it's become more purposeful. Seeing this unfold bit by bit is incredibly refreshing and engaging. We now no longer have to believe that Cody is especially athletically/physically gifted, or that he's an upstanding babyface, since we're now seeing that he's successful because he's ruthless, arrogant, and well-connected, all of which he portrays fantastically with his acting (seriously, Cody has about 99.9% of wrestlers beaten in pure acting, even if his pro-wrestling selling can understandably be a bit cheesy at times). Week to week, Cody now goes from a wrestling star, to a faux-famous wannabe TV celebrity; from happily hyping the crowd up, to coldly scowling and arrogantly taunting while methodically and viciously targeting an opponent's limb; from running down to make a big save against the heels, to gladly capitalising after Arn cheaply interferes on the outside; from claiming to fight for the sake of the fans, to guilting them for no longer supporting or 'understanding' him; from going through a flaming table to impress the fans, to running fans off by taking far too much delight and pride in beating his opponents down before getting the inevitable win. The success of this strategy is seen in how EVERYTHING Cody does now gets a massive reaction, showing most of all that people are invested in what Cody does and what happens to him. The people who love Cody as a face for his pure wrestling or any other personal reason still have enough babyface work to feel comfortable supporting him for, while the fans who detest Cody being shoved down their throats as a squeaky clean babyface star likewise now have the chance to appropriately boo the hell out of him instead of being expected to cheer for him at every turn even when he's up against far cooler wrestlers. I honestly don't even care if Cody's "heel turn" (tm) moment ever actually happens, since I'm content to see the creative ways he works his matches by towing both lines as he currently is."

[3.0] "Cody Rhodes has a decent moveset, and reached the highest he was ever likely to achieve in WWE, and became a bit of an Indy darling in other promotions. But since becoming an EVP in AEW he's often the focus of attention, and has tons of screentime and prominent matches with incoming talents, funny how often that happens isn't it. And whilst it may have been commendable him not wanting to be AEW World Champion, he already has the most (current) reigns as a single's competitor with the TNT Championship, so is that any better or worse. Feels like I'm watching a Jeff Jarrett or HHH reign of terror all over again."

[5.0] "Candidate for strangest 2021 in AEW (he had a mixed tag vs Shaq to start the year, that's indicative), with a string of odd feuds. He and Penta had huge heat (supposedly), then one quick match. Then The Factory emerged and he had a long feud with QT Marshall, and a PPV match vs Anthony Ogogo ('). Had high profile matches with Malakai Black and Andrade, including a decent tag with PAC at Full Gear, but the highlight was a bizarre reverse superplex through a flaming table that he took the worst of even though his wife set it on fire (''). Now he's a talent show host, a reality TV star, and a quasi-heel TNT Champion. No one could've predicted this year from Cody, and he's done decently well to maintain interest in his character, but hasn't knocked really any of these opportunities out of the park."

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes is everyone's favourite midcarder & 3 Star General, while also unintentionally being the funniest wrestler & personality in AEW currently. Him hurling himself through a flaming table in a random Atlanta Dynamite TV match (along with the 1st time they went to Atlanta, he did a backflip off a Cage) for a blowoff to a feud that didn't neccessiate it in a desperate attempt to be cheered, while also fooling the AEW faithful (who really really want to be in the know or act like they know everything about whatever "story" is being told) into thinking he geniusly fully planned this supposed 500 IQ slowburn heel turn, all localised in this weird nonsensical "Codyverse" which seems to exist in perpetuity at the centre of every show while sucking random talent/storylines into its vortex has been nothing short of absolute hilarity. Beyond that, he's a good convincing speaker on the mic, but can spout a load of overdramatic and/or tone-deaf nonsense. In the ring, he's cringe when he tries to do a minimal selling fast paced movez modern match, but does well when he's doing a territory style slow match with the right opponent, albeit with a ton of overbooked inteference laden shenanigans ala Jeff Jarrett (who he resembles a lot)"

[8.0] "A really good storyteller who unfortunately feels like a "Try hard" Babyface when he is way better fitting as a Heel (look how he was during the feud with Kenny Omega over BULLET CLUB leadership). He does feel over the top corny & cheesy as a Babyface, and almost all of his matches involve some random forced shenanigans. He reminds me a lot of Jeff Jarrett from mid 2000's TNA. He even has the same identical haircut & bleach blonde hair color as Jeff Jarrett as well. He also feels lower on the charisma scale similar to Jeff Jarrett too. These are the reasons why fans are turning against him. But his storytelling abilities make him a tremendous worker. He is also not afraid of sacrificing his body for the fans as well."

[2.0] "Its disgusting now how he acts and do things of a bad guy but at the end he is so desperté for people to cheer for him. Beating Samy, one of the hottest faces in the company and then doing promos expecting people to cheer for you. Setting himself on fire for the audience to cheer for him was hillarious. Hope some rebel heart comes and finish him."

[1.0] "The most tone deaf pro wrestler I have ever seen; seems to be too dense to actually understand anything about the art form he does professionally. Comes across as an incredibly disingenuous pretentious phony and cuts promos like he's a guy in acting class who fancies himself the next Daniel Day Lewis. Parasitically attached himself to the Bullet Club folks and conned AEW into presenting him as their biggest star despite the fact that no one ever cared about him and he wasn't even making TV when he left WWE. Also conned the fans into getting behind him for the first few months of the company's history before they began to see through him and we arrive at the present day where he's getting booed out of the building every night but refuses to change anything about his act or presentation. IDK if I have ever disliked a pro wrestler more than him; to compare him to Jeff Jarrett is disrespectful to Jarrett. The fact that they let a guy with that neck tattoo continue to have an executive position there is terrifying."

[4.0] "I didn't like him back when it wasn't as cool to do so, back when he was in Japan. I guess I just don't understand his philosophy on wrestling (I swear I tried). He can play a basic lame 'superman' american face or heel with uninteresting offense, has this bizarre slight tendency to illogically no-sell moves, and I can never believe a word that comes out of his mouth. I like wrestling when it makes me believe, but watching him makes me hate wrestling. I don't got "shoot" hatred for the guy like so many other people seem to for some reason (he's actually a cool dude), all I'm trying to say is nothing he's ever done has gotten a rise out of me."

[8.0] "Cody has changed the game and made it interesting with one thing, competition. Using his skills in wrestling and business he has created a new company with lots of enthusiasm behind it."

[9.0] "The least talented physically of the AEW SVP's, but his story telling in ring is among the best ever."

[9.0] "I have tremendous respect for all the hard work he has put into the ring over the years. The first time I saw him in WWE, I did not expect him to become anyone special. But now I can not even imagine AEW without him."

[9.0] "Cody isn't 100% my cup of tea, but I do find him fun to watch whether he hits a home run or strikes out wildly."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes is, for better or worse, his father's son. Cody is almost too old-school for the modern wrestling business, but at the same time I think having such an influential and powerful figure in the pro wrestling world have that old-school basis is a good thing, if he's not the end-all-be-all. Whenever Cody tries to have a "modern" match with flashy moves and fast pace, he falls on his face, but as a Terrirories-style storyteller I think he's great. Look at all his best singles matches; all of them are outside of both WWE & NJPW, and are Cody getting to work these old-school matches with a twinge of modern workrate (vs Lethal Bullrope, vs Dustin 2019, vs Aldis 2/3 Falls, vs Brodie Dog Collar). His best WWE matches were the very old-school Rhodes Family vs Shield series. He's an old soul, and I think that's what AEW and the modern wrestling industry needs, but again, you can't let the guy call ALL the shots. He's also seemingly a standup guy by all accounts which is great, although I can't not mention his unbelievably stupid neck tattoo (a shame, since "Dream" across his heart was perfect)."

"Fuego II is a great wrestler, I believed he only wrestled one match and yet he's at a professional level already, he's insane."

[8.0] "I love Cody in many ways. As a performer, his storytelling is top notch and his character presentation is great. However, his long absences from the product really affect his momentum when he returns. His in-ring work is often excellent but not at the level of a Kenny Omega or Bryan Danielson. Ultimately I feel his match with Dustin Rhodes was one of AEW's top 10 all-time matches. If he was more consistently focused on wrestling rather than his other ventures, I'd have given him a 9."

[6.0] "Tja, der Cody, der Cody.....vor zwei Jahren hätte er von mir noch eine acht, vielleicht sogar eine neun auf der Bewertungsskala erhalten, einfach für seine treibende Rolle als einer der Gründungsväter von AEW und vor allem seinem Status als Qualitätsgarant vor den Kameras der Khan-Promotion und nicht nur einer ihrer größten Superstars, sondern derjenige, der regelmäßig die besten Matches, besten Segmente und besten Storylines liefert, vor allem als Fahnenträger der psychologisch- anspruchsvollem und story-fokussiertem Oldschool-Wrestlings....etwas, was gerade im ersten AEW Jahr vor lauter Spot Monkeys, schlechtem Comedy-Wrestling und "Talenten" mit Backyard-Vibes dringend benötigt wurde (was nach wie vor der Fall ist)....Cody war somit aus meiner Sicht ein bisher wichtiges Gegengewicht in der Ausrichtung von AEW, die ja ansonsten sehr stark vom Wrestling-Verständnis der Bucks/Omega-Lobby geprägt wurde und ist. Problem nur, Stand Mitte 2021: Cody hat es versäumt, sein Main-Event-Superstar Momentum zu nutzen und sich stattdessen in einem merkwürdigen Rhythmus als Teilzeit-Performer begeben, der offensichtlich den Ruhm außerhalb des Rings in Form von anderen TV-Shows sucht und dann für eine kurze Zeit zurückkehrt um mindestens fragwürdige Programme mit Koryphäen wie QT Marshall, Anthony Ogogo und Shaquille O'Neal durchzuführen, bei denen er, trotz allem Wrestling- und Storytelling-Können, zumindest am Mikrofon für regelmäßige Momente sorgt, die die heutige Generation als "Cringe" bezeichnen würde...dieses sich häufende Muster bestehend aus Geltungssucht, fragwürdigen geschäftlichen Entscheidungen vor der Kamera und die generelle Aura des anmaßenden, überdramatisierenden und schöneseligen Golden Boys (dazu noch mit nutzloser und penetrant aufmerskamkeitsgeilen Trophäenfrau an seiner Seite) sorgen bei mir und hör- und spürbar bei einem Großteil der Fans in den Arenen, dass Cody sich zunehmend Go-Away-Heat bei seinem Publikum erarbeitet und die Frage aufwirft, ob es bei dieser Präsentation seinerseits nicht Zeit für einen Heel-Turn, oder zumindest einer kreativen Neuausrichtung wäre? Sonst wird Cody leider immer mehr zur Mischung aus "Reign-of-Terror" - Triple H und Spät-WCW-Hogan....würde ich ihm nicht unbedingt wünschen...."

[7.0] "Cody is good... and that's it. His run in WWE wasn't that good, but it had great characters like "Dashing" one. When he went to Japan and México, i think he improved a lot. I respect him a lot for the All In-AEW innitiative, but he's one of the least interesting things about AEW. Maybe it's the character or his not that impressive in-ring abbilities, but he would be lost in the AEW roster if it weren't for his obvious auto-push. Still, I like it."

[8.0] "Guter Performer in jeglicher Hinsicht. Gut im Ring, gut am Mic, gutes Charakter-Work. Gut, gut gut, nicht herausragend. Normale Acht."

[9.0] "A great wrestler all round. He carries a great legacy and handles it well. His matches in ROH, NJPW in AEW are all brilliant. Only thing stopping me giving a 10 is his stardust run in WWE. Other than that an amazing athlete,"

[7.0] "Love or hate Cody Rhodes, he's undeniably good at what he does. Whether he's getting under your skin or building on your emotion, Cody does it well. Also pretty solid in the ring. One of the best babyface promo guys in the business, even if not everything lands. Also good as a heel. I'd say he's the perfect second-tier champion with the ability to bounce up to the main event from time to time."

Now, in The Elite, he is THE BEST at promo but the "worst" at bell to bell, but that doesnt mean he is a bad wretler. He is just too old school for my taste. His babyface run is not something i enjoy very much. But his Heel persona is much better because he got that "Rich boy Douchebag" smile on him. and boy i see a lot of his heel work.. if you combine his past heel work with his in ring skill right now. He will be one of the BEST heel in wrestling right now head to head with Jay White and MJF."

[8.0] "I think what makes Cody special is his smarts. Both business wise but also what he can and cannot do and being able to deliver the most of those strengths. His promos are mostly good and usually connect with the crowd the way few others do. I never found he was the best in the ring but he can deliver a good story with most. He's not always consistent in the ring but I find something interesting in most of his matches even if they aren't always great."

[9.0] "Cody, to me, is a top tier star. He consistently has excellent matches. He's a good storyteller in the ring, and he can work as a tweener quite well, something a lot of guys struggle to do. His mic work is some of the best I've ever heard from a professional wrestler. Cody can work anywhere on a card, and I hope they one day do put the AEW title on him. He's just good at all aspects of what a professional wrestler needs to do in order to be successful."

[6.0] "I think people give disproportionate criticism to Cody's wrestling ability. He was trained in a limited style but has always been capable of greatness provided the match he's working has ample emotional potential. There is also this misconception that he always puts himself over. I have no idea where this came from, as he has lost almost all of his PPV matches. He has put over MJF and Darby Allin, as well as ruling himself out of world title contention. His inaugural TNT run gets targeted but that was clearly meant to establish the title as legitimate. And I am confident, come Double or Nothing, he will give the rub to Ogogo. My relatively low rating, has nothing to do with any of these factors. Cody has just simply become insufferable. From perhaps being the face of the year in 2019 with his passionate promos such as the one he cut on Chris Jericho in the run up to their big title match, he has devolved into a cringeworthy presence who is so obnoxious he is unintentionally coming off as heel. His current program, in which he is attempting to meld the tired old school American hero vs. foreign invader storyline with progressive sensibilities, is a glaring facet in his current identity crisis. As previously alluded to, on his work alone i'd probably give him an 8. But he is borderline unwatchable right now and, adding in the Nightmare Family nepotism machine, he has put me, and I'm sure a few others, off."

[7.0] "Ever since AEW launched he really found himself, though more recently he's starting to struggle in finding a hit program. In ring wise he's very hit or miss and he might have to much of an affinity for how things were done in the past, but whenever he does click it's usually really good, but not great."

[8.0] "Here's the thing. Cody is a great wrestler for sure. But he also learned too much from his dad including putting himself and his friends over to the point of insanity. Then again, that's pretty much every wrestler promoter ever so, keep up the good work I guess. That being said, he really knows how to work a crowd and his wrestling skills are more than solid."

[6.0] "Cody's in-ring ability is fine, but I think the one thing that sort of demolishes all of that is how ineffective of a character his current rendition of Cody Rhodes is. You can't make someone this noble babyface while also giving him a special entrance through the center of the arena with a huge pyro show, and then expect that to not cause a huge disconnect. Personally, it is what drives me away from him emotionally. That small feud with QT? I was rooting for QT because he may have been a jerk, but his motivations were understood. QT has motivations that you could sympathize, hell in my case, empathize with. Yet he's the heel while Cody is the face who has everything, is made to be very special in the company, and is in a sling one week but is fine to wrestle the next. All of this gives him almost anime-protagonist levels of plot armor, which isn't practical in a story told in live-action. These are human beings who have their motivations and emotions, but a lot of what gives Cody an edge is driven by the fact that he's "the man" of the company. I think a good step to really make what he has work is if he tweaks his character where he remains exactly who he is, but he is intentionally made to be much less sincere. He can have a brilliant heel run with that, but with the intended goal of making him this huge babyface, a lot of what is being presented doesn't stick. It is hard to root for him right now, in my eyes at least, so I'd encourage some experimentation down the line post-QT feud and tweaking the character to make something innovative that will create a new, interesting narrative."

"I just saw him hit a Canadian Destroyer, then followed it immediately with a Springboard Cutter on the same guy. What a mark."

[9.0] "You can understandably hate Cody Rhodes for being pretentious and very self-centered in how his stories are told, but it doesn't disregard his legacy, character work, and general working ability. I could tell even back when he was apart of WWE that he was someone special who hadn't unlocked his true potential right at that moment yet, however, after being set up with the Stardust gimmick and thankfully released from the Big Dub, this potential exploded and unlocked like crazy, as Cody evolved from a midcarder to a true main eventer, making his name in NJPW and ROH before starting up AEW with the help of the rest of the Elite, and then showcasing his talent there. Cody continues to impress me and keeps giving out the most interesting and fun storylines on AEW programming, and brings the talent full circle with his workrate and match quality as well."

[9.0] "Cody is a great seller and has an even better persona. His work on and in AEW is just simply outstanding. He really does his heritage proud every time he enters the ring. He put on one of the most emotional matches with his brother of all time. Cody is finally where he belongs. Just an awe inspiring talent."

[7.0] "Cody definitely has advantages as a performer: his promos, for one, are usually quite solid and versatile, he's willing to try new things and has got over gimmicks that would otherwise be pretty unremarkable (his "dashing" and "undashing" work in particular stands out) and he's reliable in the ring, capable of a steady workrate of decent to good match quality (when he's actually motivated) and he's a underrated tag specialist, especially with his brother, whom he has great chemistry with. The main problem is that Cody's volume of work as of post-WWE hasn't been particularly fantastic, with some really bad indie runs and his NJPW showings being mostly stinkers beyond carry jobs by Okada and Ibushi. He's not a great fit for many companies and if he isn't in the title picture or not near the main event, his performances are drastically nerfed and he doesn't feel as interested. That being said, he's been doing good work in AEW and he's proven himself to be a capable storyteller when he's in a prominent position. He's also unproven as a main event draw and I'm honestly not sure he can be one with his record at flopping at the top level. Quite mixed, but I'm curiously optimistic to see if he can get better, because there's definitely potential."

[9.0] "Was only average in WWE and then in ROH/NJPW showed some potential but since AEW started he has became one of the top stars in America."

[8.0] "People who hate Cody mustn't watch too much AEW. He isn't the best in the world in the ring, but he has on hell of a promo and can tell a brilliant story in the ring. The man managed to make the NWA Worlds title feel like the greatest prize in the industry because of his work in the build. Also, in ring his storytelling is second to none. See Cody vs Aldis (ALL IN), Cody vs Jericho (Full Gear '19), Cody vs Dustin (DoN '19) and Cody vs Brodie Lee (dog collar). He is also willing to put over new stars, Darby Allin being a prime example. He took the biggest risk of his life leaving a certain job at WWE because he wanted more for himself, took an extended tour of the indies and took work almost everywhere (PWG, ROH, TNA, WCPW, NJPW), won ROH gold, IWGP US gold, NWA Worlds title, GFW NEX*GEN gold (that one is a joke). And he wanted more, took a gamble running All In and took another starting AEW. The man's ambition pushed his fear to the side so he could change the industry, and for that, he is worthy of his position on any card."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes is what you want from a babyface champion. His AEW run (at time of writing) has been phenominal, with several standout matches for the promotion (Cody vs Dustin, Cody vs Jericho for the AEW title, and Cody vs Brodie Lee Dog Collar Match). His promo work is some of the best in the division, and he worked hard to put over a lot less exposed guys. His long term booking with Darby is another highlight. His only weakness is probably over-exposure in 2020, which is more likely due to the fact of covid."

[9.0] "A good wrestler and really good on mic. Cody can work both as face and as heel but the last title shot that he had was not good the booking was really bad. That is the only reason to deduct a score otherwise he is some of the top men in AEW. When it comes to push a newer talent he always takes the step but other than darby no body got the push. He is really good and he showed it but a 9 is what i can give him for now."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes is the highlight of most AEW shows with his presence and great promo work. I think Cody can have great matches but he doesn't have the ability to carry someone terrible or taking it up a notch."

[10.0] "The guy is probably going to be remembered as one of the most important wrestling figures of this generation and I just really don't get some of the criticisms thrown his way. The guy is fire on the mic the best example being his silverspoon promo, and while I get why nit everyone is into his matches I think he's had some bangers his classic with his brother Dustin, his matches with Darby Allin, the world title match with chris jericho, and the dog collar match with brodie lee. Yeah he's booked strong in aew but people have to realise he is a mainstream draw, bigger then most in the company anyway and his losses have built up a lot of the guys he's gone up against Darby Allin, MJF, and Brodie Ler have all been elevated by Cody, peole who have lost to him have also been elevated within the company, Eddie Kingston after he debuted went nearly immediately to the top of the card, and Ricky Starks is in a promising faction right now. I think the idea that Cody is using the company to be his own version of triple h is shortsighted at best or just denial at worst."

[6.0] "Honestly, just the definition of an overrated, whiny, entitled, spoiled brat that believes their own hype. He is a decent worker but nothing spectacular. I will give him credit for starting AEW to showcase some good indie talent, but it's honestly cringe that he booked himself as a top guy. Not the worst out there by far, but certainly not deserving of being called one of the best."

[8.0] "Bei ihm gehen die Meinungen ja echt sehr weit auseinander. War er in der WWE underrated? Klares Ja! Ist er bei AEW overrated? Teils teils ... Er hat sich zum ersten TNT Champ gemacht, aber auch auf den World Title verzichtet. Im Ring ist er auf jeden Fall nicht so mediocre, wie er hier hingestellt wird. Scheinbar vergessen einige sein Match Of The Year gegen seinen Bruder Dustin oder den Moonsault vom Cage. Er ist definitiv weitaus besser im Ring als Triple H, Jeff Jarrett (mit denen er ja ständig aufgrund seiner Backstagerolle verglichen wird) Cena oder Orton. Wobei ich seinen Finisher (Crossrhodes) ziemlich arm finde. Am Mic ist er auch gut, es kann also nur am Charisma liegen. Als Face kommt er nicht so recht over bei den Fans. Aber da er ja auch durchaus nicht wenig Hater hat (und seine Frau erst! ), wäre ein Heel-Turn sicherlich mal einen Versuch wert. Generell mag ich persönlich auch seine metrosexuelle Optik überhaupt nicht, und die blond gefärbten Haare stehen ihm auch nicht. Aber auf jeden Fall Hut ab vor dem, was er mit AEW auf die Beine stellt."

[8.0] "Die WWE Karriere von Cody Rhodes aka Stardust ist irgendwie im Sand verlaufen. Die Midcard im Singles und im Tag Team Bereich war sein zuhause und ganz ehrlich: Für einen Run als Workd Champion war er bis zu seinem freiwilligen Abgang schlicht nicht bereit. Die Selbstfindung in den Indies und in Japan hat ihn stärker, größer und schlicht besser werden lassen. Mit All In gelang ein Überrschungscoup und durch Elite und die neue AEW wurde er endlich zum Main Eventer. Aber: Im Ring ist er immer noch nur gut. Mehr ist nicht und wird nie sein."

His promos have been absolutely killer and he knows how to get an audience involved, even without an actual audience. Cody honestly is among the best pro wrestlers today. The Rhodes family as a whole has been able to keep that name alive, relevant, and also has done the name proud Calling him a Triple H 2. 0 is short sighted and has ignored the fact that in the company he has established, he has put over wrestlers, while maintaining the prestige of the Rhodes name"

[4.0] "I just can't find any reason to care about him. He's good at working a certain type of blood feud match; otherwise even against the very best opponents he will constantly churn out overbooked 2 1/2-3 star matches. I think the comparisons to HHH are pretty apt."

[7.0] "As a wrestler, Cody would get about a 5 for me. Not bad, but he doesn't really distinguish himself for me. But he gets bonus points from a lot of things: his decision to walk away from WWE, the work he's done to start and build AEW, and also, in the current empty arena/skeleton crew era of AEW Dynamite, I've enjoyed his color commentary work more than I have his actual wrestling. That neck tattoo though... oof. That gets a zero."

[10.0] "One of the most iconic and incredible people in the wrestling world today. He's obviously created something incredible with AEW, and clearly has an incredible mind for the business. But to him as a talent, that's where he shines. He's an incredible talker. Very genuine, emotional promos sometimes, very clearly concise and precise promos others. He's truly mastered the art of the promo. As an in ring worker he's the perfect combo of new school and old school, sometimes pulling out incredibly athletic high risk offense, sometimes using a more basic moveset to provide excellent storytelling and drama. He's got such a great overall value as a performer and officer. He's truly one of the legends of today."

[10.0] "Im Ring sicherlich keine 10 von 10. Aber der Mann lebt einfach Wrestling und ist wahrlich der Sohn seines Vaters Dusty. Er verkauft das Business so dermaßen gut. [9.0] "Eigentlich ein guter Wrestler (8 Punkte), der auch gute Promos halten kann(9 Punkte). Nur das Charisma fehlt ihn leider ein bißchen. Besonder sgut gefiel er mir bei The Legacy und im Tag Team mit Goldust. Als Cody Rhodes war das Ganze noch ziemlich gut, aber auch als Stardust konnte er sich im Tag Team sehen lassen. Seitdem er wieder im Single-Bereich unterwegs ist, kommt leider gar nichts mehr. Durch seine ständigen Gimmick-Wechsel wirkt er in der WWE einfach verbraucht und obwohl er ein großes Talent hat, stört es mich inzwischen gar nicht mehr wenn er verjobbt wird. Update: war bei New Japan schon nicht schlecht aber mit der AEW hat er sein Meisterstück abgeliefert. Er ist tierisch over und beliebt bei den Fans, obwohl er eigentlich sehr viel Heel-Working betreibt. Mir gefällt dieses Gimmick des dandyhaften Unternehmers mit selbstverliebter Attitüde, der aber trotzdem aufrecht und ehrlich wirkt, richtig gut (9 Punkte). Dadurch ist er natürlich auch wesentlich charismatischer als zu WWE-Zeiten, aber er kann mit einem Jon Moxley, MJF oder Chris Jericho nicht mithalten (7Punkte). Im Ergebnis 8 Punkte aber ein Bonuspunkt, weil er mit AEW dem nordamerikanischen Wrestling mehr als gut getan hat."

[10.0] "Great promo. Great look. Knows psychology. Is the second coming of Dusty Rhodes, accept more athletic. He is one of a few reasons why I have any faith in wrestling today."

[10.0] "What a crazy turnaround for Cody, who watching NJPW I never was interested in seeing, now he's arguably AEW's hottest face and had some of the best matches in AEW including his MOTYC with Dustin."

He always had great tag chemistry with Dustin/Goldust and I think he can be a star player in AEW but not one of my favorites."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes is not a perfect wrestler nor is he the best in the world, he is not someone who will give you a 4+ star match based on workrate with zero build, but to be fair there is an abundance of those wrestlers nowadays. Cody however provides something that few if any can do and that is creating interest in his matches and character. Sure, he uses a lot of smoke and mirrors to cover up for his sub-par athletic ability but the crowd investment that he creates in his matches carries them from only okay to great. Kenny is a better wrestler but all I remember from AL IN or Double Or Nothing are the Cody matches. Not to mention, he started a promotion to compete with the stagnant money grabbing wwf so that? s a plus. Go Cody"

[9.0] "He looked like a future star in 2007(? ), when he talked back at Randy Orton for legend-killer-ing his father. Now, in 2019, he is a bonafide star. As the public face of AEW, Cody backs it up in the shows and an the ring. He is not an athletic daredevil like many of his co-presidents, but he has the great star presence, in-ring psychology and story-telling ability that enables his high-profile matches to stay in memory much longer than more athletic spotfests. Add to that a killer theme, the absolute will to be awesome and a gimmick/character/history tailor-made for what North American mainstream wrestling fans want to see in 2019, and you get the perfect face for a new promotion that wants to outgrow the dark shadow of the wrestling empire. I, for one, am perfectly happy with him right now."

[10.0] "At this time in 2019 Is say Cody has reached 10 status based on his most recent matches. He possesses spectacular promo ability and in more recent times has been a major part of building what will one day be the legacy of the start of AEW. Cody found new life after WWE on the indie scene as well as surrounded himself with a great group of people in The Elite. He has established himself not only as a great wrestler but has also become a very important personality in the wrestling world as a whole."

He's also a very hard-worker and he showed in the WWE already his determination to work something out, even if he hates it. Especially when Cody can be Cody himself he's a captivating character. Probably his biggest plus point is his constant learning. Considering his vision for the wrestling-world (which I don't rate) he'd be a ten. He's thinking above booking Anti-WWE and it is delightful how Cody scratches off general concepts like the forced Face/Heel and wrestling steps up from forced, comical storytelling."

[9.0] "I hated him when he first came to WWE & was tagging with Holly & could never seem to keep his kneepads up. But then he slowly started to win me over & when he found his Broken character, I was totally on board. Obviously that character has come & gone & he's done a bunch of other stuff since then. He's currently in his biggest role to date as a key player of AEW. I'll leave most of my judgement of Cody as a booker at the door for now, as he really has not had time to develop in that role. But as a performer, he feels like a huge deal. His matches are not always the best (notably, the one he had with Aldis at All In), but for the most part, they are quite good (recent one against Dustin being exceptionally terrific)."

[8.0] "I really think that 2018 is Cody' s year ... he is the man of the year without a doubt in my opinion for his ring work, for his victories and also for the impact he had in the world of Pro-Wrestling this year. He is the main force behind the ? indy ? revolution... he reinvented himself after wwe tragic departures and he had become the hottest name outside WWE. He invented all in he is with Young Bucks and Kenny the ? rise against the machine? that makes other promotions looks impressive. Also I really love the fact that he sells himself as an ? old school? wrestler giving importance to the titles to the importance of psicology in the matches and he is one hell of a character right now . Heel or Face it doesn? t matter, the crowd cheered for him when he won the NWA championship at All In not becouse he was face but becouse they believe in him and in his project... I love his persona right now the way he acts in the ring , the gimmick evolution since wwe, the american nightmare story etc. Cody is excellent in my opinion and he is example of how in real life not all the bad things comes to harm ... leaving WWE has been the biggest blessing of his carrear... Ialways heard about the fact that Cody isn't a great worker or most that he is not a great performer ... just becouse we live in an era in which athletic ability, megaspots , insane high flying manuevers are everything... let me remind that Cody is a master in "in ring" psicology, an old school guy that give great importance to the "credibility" of the "in Ring "product... just go and see the matches with Nick Aldis and the work to his right leg at NWA anniversary show, the fct that he lost purposely the first fall to don't take too much damage on his own leg, all facts that nowdays are forgotten in the ancient art of pro-wrestling. I'm not judging or criticizing nowdays performers, the athletic level nowdays , as I say always , has no rivals with the past , but sometimes is based only"

[7.0] "Cody is a solid American-style worker, but he stands out like a sore thumb when working the Japanese style. It's just not something he's good at. But he has a great personality, and he and Brandi make a great package."

[7.0] "A decent wrestler who can do really well only if carried on by a better worker, he's a great talker and entertainer, the extra ring is his main talent, and outside of the WWE he showed that probably he could be a heel world champion in WWE, even if he should regret not dying his hair blonde in WWE, his look really upgraded. This man will be however more remembered for leaving the WWE and being more successful after leaving, despite a 9 years stint with 2 reigns as IC Champion and I think 3 as Tag Team Champion, not a star at all but a pretty solid midcarder who got paid by Vince for 9 years. His Stardust gimmick was awful but he was a professional about it. All In is mainly thanks to him."

[6.0] "Cody has proven that you don't need to be in a multi billion dollar company to find major success in the wrestling business. He was straight up disrespected by being given the Stardust gimmick so it was no surprise when he left. He's good on the mic and his family lineage helps him look like a star. In the ring he's ok, not really on the same level as most of his opponents but he's passable. Cody winning the NWA Heavyweight Championship was such an feel good moment. I know Dusty is looking down on him with a big smile."

The only reasons why they gave him the ROH World Championship are that he is the son of a legend, that he is in the Bullet Club and that he comes from the WWE, so ROH will do anything to make them look bad, even give him their most prestigious championship to a mediocre wrestler. Their mic skills are weak, his only highlights are his rants against the WWE, which is not much since it is to emphasize obvious things. From there on, he is lucky to have his match with Okada, because otherwise he would not have any credibility as a champion. In short, a shameful fighter who is only loved by the Smarks and should have stayed as Mid-Carder."

[8.0] "It's funny to me to read so many comments here about how Cody is either a good wrestler without enough charisma or that he has charisma but isn't a good enough wrestler. In my opinion, he's pretty good on both accounts. He's not a "top" worker, but he's solid most of the time. Is he good enough to be the ROH champion? Well, he's no Adam Cole, but he's more entertaining than a number of others who have been at the top of the company."

[5.0] "Well, i appreciate him for leaving wwe to get more opportunities on the indies. However, his performances since then hasn't been interesting at all. The only matches i would call at least really good are the matches with scurll, callihan at bola 16, with lethal at roh super honor 17 and the best match so far with okada at g1 special, but yeah okada can make anything look like million bucks. He cares more about his stuff outside the ring than in ring work. I give him 5 because i want to give him more chances."

Whole lot of stalling in the match, which absolutely kills every match he is in. Not the worst promo but never gets me invested in his match through his overacting or overemphasis on other aspects like ROH ring. I would have loved to see him if he wasnt wrestling royalty or wasnt picked up by the Bullet Club."

[5.0] "This guy... He's just a guy. The worst thing that ever happened to him was getting the Stardust gimmick. Now he way overdoes his facial expressions. It's ridiculous. He's a good wrestler, and that's about it. Good babyface. Terrible ROH champion."

[0.0] "Most overrated wrestler of 2017 by far. I was supporting him in WWE but when he left, he started to crying about not getting a push in WWE. This guy doesn't deserve the ROH Championship or any other titles. If Dusty Rhodes would be alive, Cody couldn't left WWE and couldn't cry about his push. Waste of space."

[4.0] "An average wrestler with the right last name. Seriously, I can't stand him, and his indie run is the proof that he wasn't that much misused in the E. He's booked like a god everywhere he goes, but he never, never delivers in the ring"

[10.0] "Really great. His heel work in 2011-2012 was gold. Ever since he left WWE from the awful Stardust gimmick, he's been really great. One of my favorites."

[8.0] "In my opinion, Cody Rhodes makes a great decision by leaving WWE and travelling around the world showing his true attitude and true skill that was concealed by WWE. However, although a great worker itself, it's seemingly too early for him to have a big push in the independent circuit, especially NEW and ROH. We are not seeing all of his potentials yet, no effort to win the title, its seems like he was a golden kid who needs a great push and becoming the mega mega world champion. It's so sad I have predicted in BITW17 Cody Rhodes will win the ROH WOrld Title. If I works in ROH i maybe will book him for the title victory in Q4 2017 or 2018, but not now, as It's seemingly too early for him. I just blame the push upon him that makes him look like overrated (after he was underrated for a long time in WWE) but he still a great person in professional wrestling and he shows some incredible effort in every of his matches and makes it undeniable to see."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes is fantastic. He's not the greatest in ring worker by any means but he's good. What's going to make Cody a great ROH world champion is the same reason why bobby roode is a great NXT champion right now, his presentation. Cody comes off like a champ, looks like a champ and cuts his promos like a champ. Quite iterally the star that left them in the dust. If you can't see that... oh well."

[6.0] "I think 6/10 is a fair rating for Cody. The guy just isn't as good as everyone tries to pretend he is. If one is to use the much loved star ratings of Dave Meltzer to proclaim that Kenny Omega is far better than any wrestler in WWE than most WWE talent above the mid card level are better than Cody Rhodes. Let's face it, the guy just isn't that good in the ring. Even in NJPW which is supposed to have the best in ring work in the world, Cody's major one on one matches have been with a guy who never made it out of WWE developmental in Juice Robinson fka CJ Parker and Michael Elgin. In matches that could only be politely described as better than average but not by a lot. In before but he's been held back, Roman Reigns has gotten a better match out of Big Show in his mid 40s than Jay Lethal got out of Cody twice in ROH. Although that makes sense as Roman Reigns has been world champion in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world and Cody's first world title was beating a 47 year old Christopher Daniels."

[5.0] "Ich muss zugeben, ich sah und sehe Cody als ein riesiges Talent. Der Typ kann in so ziemlich allen Punkten punkten, aber um wieder ehrlich zu sein, hat er mich bis hier ein wenig enttäuscht. [4.0] "Cody has done well for himself with the "I left the big bad WWE" thing, but I feel like he's being exposed as an average wrestler on the indie scene. His matches are consistently the most underwhelming on the cards he's on. I think as the distance grows between his WWE run and the present he will start to move down cards as the gimmick wears thin."

[4.0] "When Cody left WWE to try his hand at the indies, I was intrigued. This was someone who never wrestled outside of WWE, there was so many fresh match ups to be seen. But then his run began, and each match was just okay at best, yet he started climbing the cards and winning most of his matches, getting opportunities and delivering even more bland matches. Even when he got a chance to work the Tokyo Dome in his NJPW debut, he felt like he was phoning it in. Maybe there's a reason WWE wasn't doing anything with Cody, maybe he's just not that good."

[10.0] "Common, Cody is much better than you think. Just look at some of his PWG or WCPW matches, donŽt judge him just for his run in WWE."

[8.0] "All the charisma, all the talent, all the star power someone needs to be a star. He has had impressive matches in WWE, TNA, PWG, and WCPW. One day Rhodes will get the recognition he deserves."

[8.0] "Geht in den Indys komplett auf. Absolut sympathischer Typ, der mittlerweile einfach sein Leben genießt und dadurch besser denn je ist. Da er eben auch keine Einschränkungen im Ring hat."

[10.0] "Es ist eine ziemliche Schande, wie die Rhodes, egal welcher, in der WWE so verbrannt wurden und sich entweder hinter dämlich Kostümen oder sonstigen Gimmicks verstecken mussten! Wie Cody beweist ist genug Persönlichkeit und KÖNNEN da, das man sich nicht im Sternen-Nebel zu verstecken braucht! Hab jettz schon alles mögliche erreicht, für die nächsten großen Schritte ist er definitiv bereit!"

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes has honestly disappointed me somewhat. I don't think he upped his game that much ever since leaving WWE, I really thought he had something more in him, but I was wrong. I guess I shouldn't have expected it from a guy that "grew up" in the WWE and suddenly gets thrown into an environment where the bar is set considerably higher. Despite this, he is still a very good wrestler and very charismatic."

[8.0] "Leaveing the WWE was the best choice Cody has ever made. You can see he's having so much fun and plus, he's just killing it everywhere he goes! ROH, TNA, NJPW, WCPW, every freaking where!"

[5.0] "Cody looks pretty cool during his entrance and moves just fine in the ring, but he absolutely isn't good or interesting enough to be a main eventer. He was probably brought up a bit too soon, with his first several years in the WWE being nothing but dull and basic promos and matches. Granted, teaming with Ted Dibiase, Jr. probably didn't help the crowd get invested in any of Cody's segments, but at the time Cody was a fairly unassuming lightweight wrestler who I doubt would've done much better in any other role. When he got to play a narcissist he definitely picked up his game, though his peak in terms of match quality was probably in the early days of him teaming with Dustin. Then that fizzled out. He's well spoken and has shown excellent acting chops both as a snobby heel and as a weirdo 'Dustbrother, but although he can play those roles as well as deliver earnest babyface promos, none of it is compelling enough for a main event spot. His post-WWE run of serviceable, workmanlike performances in various companies has, in my opinion, solidified him as a guy who is a clear step behind the top guys across the globe, rather than someone who was being held back and forced into being mostly boring for most of his WWE run."

[8.0] "There is no doubt that Cody is good in the ring, but he is not great. Probably his future stints in companies like NJPW & ROH, he'll improve a lot in the ring. He's got a cool look and charisma from his Rhodes heritage already. Just a little more improvement in the ring will compell me to give him a 9 in the future. I respect his hardwork a lot."

[7.0] "His WWE career was full of gold, good matches and memorable performances. Was sad to see him go but glad to see him hit the indies. It's been fascinating to see him tightrope between ROH, TNA and NJPW (plus EVOLVE and PWG), while picking up mid-card titles in the (semi-reputable? ) GFW and WCPW promotions and defending them globally for notable indies. Cody arrived at a hot time in the indies (particularly for the UK) and is using his celebrity to breakdown contractual issues that TNA/ROH/NJPW/EVOLVE often come with and I think he's making the most of his run. We'll see in a couple of years if he's more of a Drew Galloway or Johnny Mundo (continues to find success everywhere) or more of a Curt Hawkins, Ryback, PJ Black or Damien Sandow (some notable successes but not quite hitting the heights that were expected)."

[8.0] "Cody's inhabited the knack for character work from his dad and brother. He has impeccable acting range, going from serious (Undashing Cody Rhodes) to bizarre (Stardust) to gimmicky (Dashing) fluidly. WWE may have valued that more than seeing Cody as a complete package. However, Cody's more than a great perfomer he's good in the ring--and he's going grow out of the WWE style as he continue on in NJPW and the indies. Cody has done a better job than most keeping his post WWE momentum up, and his 2017 run should be spectacular to witness."

[8.0] "Für seine WWE-Zeit würde ich vermutlich zwischen 5 und 7 Punkten geben, aber der Jung ist nach seiner Kündigung in den Indies so krass aufgeblüht, das ist nahezu unfassbar! Da zeigt sich mal wieder, dass bei der WWE kaum einer Ahnung von wahrem Talent bzw. künstlerischer Freiheit hat, Cody wollte einfach wieder er selbst sein und sie haben ihn weiter in dem zu dem Zeitpunkt mehr als toten Stardust-Gimmick versauern lassen. Gehen wir mal kurz die einzelnen Phasen seiner Karriere durch: Als Teil von Priceless/Legacy noch relativ unbeschreiben und uninteressant, als Dashing und Undashing schien er seine Rolle gefunden zu haben und spielte beides wirklich sehr gut und überzeugend, in den Teams mit Sandow und seinem Bruder Goldust ebenfalls sehr nett anzusehen, besonders die Fehde gegen The Shield hat mir gefallen. Stardust schließlich war am Anfang ja ganz interessant, genauso wie später, als er in Richtung Comic-Superschurke ging, aber ansonsten konntest du das Gimmick inne Tonne kloppen. Bin ich echt gespannt, wie es mit Cody nun weitergeht, vor allem im Bullet Club, ich bin mir sicher, da wird er noch weiter aufgehen, dafür werden The Elite schon sorgen ;-)"

[10.0] "Top Wrestler... Schade das er bei WWE so verprellt wurde. Die Company zu verlassen war das beste was er machen konnte: Besiegte Kurt Angle, ist jetzt GFW Next Gen Champion & jetzt auch das neueste Bullet Club Mitglied."

[9.0] "After a promising storyline against the Authority in 2013, WWE turned Cody Rhodes into a Goldust spin-off, underutilising him for a whole two years. The world demanded they changed him back, including Cody himself. When they refused, not only did WWE let Cody leave, but in spite have prevented him from using the name "Rhodes", a name his father and brother had used outside of WWE. They may be doing what they can to put his career to a halt, but Cody is too talented to let that stop him. Whether he wrestles in TNA, ROH or NJPW, Cody has shown that he doesn't need a name to get people's attention, but his talent alone."

[7.0] "He's really good at promos, but in the ring he's meh... But look at his age! He's so young! I think in New Japan he will grow up as a wrestler and maybe in a 1-2 years we'll see him as the one of the best wrestlers on the planet. But for now I give him 7."

[10.0] "One of the best performers in the world. Spoiled by very poor gimmicks but has really come into another level of star power since joining the independent scene. Hard to find a bad match of his recently. Amazing matches against Angle lately and an upcoming match with Will Ospereay guarantees greatness."

[5.0] "Cody Rhodes had to put up with a load of WWE's writing shit over the years, so imagine how exciting it was hearing he was released and was going to work for PWG and ROH. Well, that hype died the second all of that was over. He's now over-saturated, appearing in TNA and WCPW, aswell as godknows what other promotions he's showing up in. His post-WWE hype is dead and hopefully, if his smart, he'll limit his appearances in the indies so he feels special, not just another indy wrestler."

[8.0] "Eine absolute Frechheit wie die WWE mit ihm herum sprang. Als "(Un)dashing)" absolute Spitzenklasse, völlig zu Recht Over gewesen und dann? Verdienter Push in die Uppercard? Nix da, man gab ihm ein beknacktes Gimmick in Form von "Stardust und stellte ihn damit nach und nach immer lächerlicher dar. Aber dennoch verkörperte er dieses sehr gut. Nun Gott sei Dank ja weg von der WWE, ihm steht wohl definitiv eine große Karriere in den Indys bevor. Zur Wertung: im Ring stark (9/10), ist in der Lage sehr gute Promos zu halten (8/10), ist charismatisch (9/10) und besitzt eine gute Ausstrahlung (8/10). Im gesamten also 8, 5 die ich gerne auf 9 runden würde, doch möchte ich erst einmal sehen wie er in den Indys Fuß fasst. Daher vorerst 8 Punkte."

[9.0] "Such a wasted potential by the WWE. He was always good in the ring, had somewhat interesting mic skills/rivalries and could master any gimmick he was given. He will definetily kill it in the indies and hopefuly return to the E,"

[7.0] "Ah, Cody Rhodes. He's an underrated gimmick chameleon, though I have to say I especially enjoyed his work during his "Undashing" phase. The man is a smooth technician and an excellent in-ring performer, with a good mixture of mat wrestling and flashier moves. He never had a tremendously large amount of charisma, but his promo skills may be the most underrated thing about him -- and he has to be applauded for his commitment to even lackluster angles. WWE should have done far more with him, and I hope he has better luck on the indy scene. Considering the talents Mr. Rhodes possesses, I have no doubt he'll do well for himself."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes/Stardust ist eigentlich einer der talentiertesten Worker der WWE. Im Ring gut bis sehr gut, er kann die unterschiedlichsten Gimmicks perfekt verkörpern, hat einen enormen Unterhaltungswert, mehr Charisma als ein Großteil des Main Events und doch dümpelt er seit Jahren ziellos in der Midcard herum. Ich weiß nicht wirklich, was die WWE davon abhält, ihn doch mal konsequent zu pushen. Over war er schon mehrmals, aber das kann man natürlich immer wieder kaputt machen, in dem man ihn regelmäßig verjobbt. Sicherlich ist Rhodes nicht das, was man sich als geborenen World Champion vorstellt, aber ein besseres Standing würde man ihm doch wünschen. Während man teilweise verkrampft versuchte, Leute wie Sheamus, Del Rio oder Roman Reigns in kürzester Zeit an die Decke zu pushen, hätte die WWE vielleicht mal bemerken können, dass ihr vielleicht größtes ungenutztes Talent sich schon seit über 7 Jahren für die Company den Arsch aufreißt und trotzdem nie wirklich den Lohn dafür erhalten hat. UPDATE: Der WWE-Abgang war nur konsequent und ich bin mir sicher, dass es genug Ligen gibt, die seine Dienste zu schätzen wissen und ihn gebührend einsetzen werden."

[8.0] "Guter Wrestler, wenn die WWE nur das Stardust Gimmick sterben lassen würde. Cody könnte sogar durchaus ein glaubwürdiger World Champ sein, stattdessen spielt er einen Verrückten namens Stardust. Ich hoffe, dass bald Cody zurück kommt."

[6.0] "Die Inringfähigkeiten sind da, das Stardustgimmick ist in Zeiten wo es kaum noch richtige Gimmickwrestler gibt, insbesondere in Anlehnung an seinen Bruder auch in Ordnung. Auch sein Selling gefällt mir, insbesondere wenn er durch Cody-Chants eine schizophrene/besessene Persönlichkeit durchblicken lässt. Einzig sein Edeljobber-Status hält mich davon ab ihn höher zu bewerten."

[9.0] "Alter Schwede, ich vermisse Cody Rhodes. Er spielt das Stardust-Gimmick zwar überzeugend so wie jedes Gimmick, das man ihm zugeworfen hat, aber der Charakter hat keine wirkliche Tiefe und wird ihn nie auf den Level bringen, den er mit seinem Talent verdient."

[9.0] "Ich find Ihn geil. Erinnert mich doch sehr an die gute alte Zeit als Goldust in der WWE anfing sicher im Moment auf dem Abstellgleiß. Hoffe das er demnächst richtig gebookt wird. Er lebt diese Rolle einfach, und überzeugt mich in seiner Verkörperung."

[8.0] "This guy is an absolute chameleon when it comes to character, as to be expected of someone of the Rhodes lineage. Easily outmatches the rest of the current roster on terms of how far he takes a character, be it his current gimmick, or his dark and edgy masked persona. A pretty good wrestler as well!"

[10.0] "Warum 10 Punkte für Cody Rhodes? Klar, ich gebe zu, er spielt schon lange keine große Rolle mehr in den Shows, aber das ist im Grunde ein echter Jammer. Er bringt sein Gimmick als Stardust extrem überzeugend rüber, auch wenn er sich dafür manchmal blöd anstellen muss. Er war als "Dashing" Cody Rhodes ein glaubhaft arroganter Schönling, und der verbitterte Cody Rhodes mit gebrochener Nase war ebenfalls klasse. Cody ist ein junger Mann, der allein durch seine Mimik unheimlich überzeugend wirkt und jede Situation annehmen kann, in die er gebookt wird. Möglicherweise ist er der anpassungsfähigste Mann der WWE. Auch sein Talent im Ring ist nicht von der Hand zu weisen. Daher würde ich mir wirklich wünschen, dass er irgendwann nochmal den Griff nach den Sternen (pun intended) in der WWE landen darf."

[10.0] "Es gab bisher keine Phase in seiner Karriere, in der Cody nicht überzeugte und großartig war. Leider aber nie einen konsequenten Push nach ganz oben bekommen. Vielleicht aber auch zu Recht, eventuell ist er "nur" ein perfekter Midcard Wrestler. Entertainment Schiene bedient er hervorragend, Micwork gut, im Ring seh ich ihn auch immer gerne. Schade das WWE sein Stardust Gimmick nicht vollkommen ausspielt und ihn over the Top agieren lässt. So eine Rolle wie Wyatt sie 2013/14 hatte, auf das Stardust Gimmick umgemützt hätten sicherlich auch tolle Programme gegeben. Mal gucken was die Zukunft bringt, derzeit tritt er leider nur auf der Stelle und WWE lenkt (auch zu Recht) derzeit auf andere Wrestler ihr Fokus. Wäre dennoch schön wenn man das jetzige, oder ein anderes, Gimmick für Cody nützen würd um ihne in Zukunft wieder etwas präsenter in den Shows zu haben. Mindestens ein Midcard Highlight wie zu seiner "Dashing" Zeit steckt ja noch über ein Jahrzehnt in ihm. Dennoch besteht derzeit die Gefahr das er auch in die vollkommene Bedeutungslosigkeit abrutscht. Wäre mehr als Schade."

[7.0] "Ein Gimmick das ich zunächst ziemlich lächerlich fand. Doch alles in allem muss man sagen, dass Cody dieses Gimmick liebt und lebt. Er ist in der Rolle des Stardust perfekt. Und irgendwann wird auch WWE das Potenzial in diesem Gimmick entdecken und ihn in neue Höhen katapultieren."

[10.0] "Many times i think wwe will push him to be world champion but wwe screwing all chance of Cody Rhodes.... He is simply great in what he does, his ring skills are good, he is good at mic, he is good playing the crowd, and he have work every gimmick which he was handed and made that work.... Really please wwe put him into top and make him World Champion because time is now."

[8.0] "Egal welche Rolle man ihm gibt, er spielt sie fantastisch! Der man weis wie Entertaiment geht. Hoffentlich bekommt Cody Rhodes seinen verdienten Push. Ich glaube die WWE hat noch viel mit ihm vor."

[8.0] "Ein starker Wrestler, Anfangs dachte ich er gehöre bloß in die Midcard, aber er überzeugte und lieferte den Fans Unterhaltung. Sein Stardust Gimmick ist stark, aber so wird er nicht weiter kommen, dieses Gimmick sollte eine Phase sein, er sollte wieder zu Cody Rhodes werden. Er ist gerade mal 29, man sollte nicht auch seine Karriere zurückhalten."

[10.0] "If you look at the different transitions that Cody Rhodes has had throughout his WWE run with his character, Cody was himself as a rookie babyface, then he was himself as a heel paired up with Ted DiBiase and then later they were a part of Legacy with Randy Orton, then shortly after he left Legacy, he became Dashing Cody Rhodes, then he wore a protective mask and showed a more dark side to his character, he single-handedly brought back the classic Intercontinental title, he became himself as a heel again, he had a moustache and was a part of Rhodes Scholars with Damien Sandow, then he was in a tag team with his brother Goldust while almost a year later he became Stardust. Cody has had quite a wrestling career so far in almost a decade! On top of that, it's a no-brainer that he's a great worker in the ring as well! I've always been a big fan of Cody Rhodes and in my honest opinion, every one of those personas he became, he nailed and knocked right out of the park with his acting! People can say and think what they want about the Stardust character but I love it! Cody Rhodes is one hell of a talent!"

[7.0] "Als Stardust gefiel er mir anfangs sehr gut, da er viele neue moves einsetzen durfte. Leider darf er sein Potenzial nicht komplett ausschöpfen, jedoch denke ich, dass er kurz vor einem Push steht. 7 Punkte mit Tendenz nach oben!"

Leider wurde im Laufe der letzten Monate das Tag Team so geschwächt, sodass ein Turn keinen Impact mehr hat und dass er danach wieder neu aufgebaut werden müsste. Insgesamt fehlt ihm ein bisschen Charisma um ohne Gimmick klarzukommen. Am Mic ist er stark und im Ring muss er sich vor niemandem verstecken."

[7.0] "Dritter des Rhodes Klan der bei WWE ist. Finde ihn nicht schlecht, obwohl sein Gimmick damals bei smackdown schon grenzwertig wahr. Dann rannte er auch immer mit dieser maske herum und niemand durfte ihn schlagen. Sein Stardust Gimmick hingegen mit Bruder Goldust ist Spitze."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes ist vielleicht DER BEWEIS dafür, dass die WWE Talent verschwendet. Er bringt eigentlich alles mit was ein Topstar an der Spitze der WWE bräuchte. Trotzdem hat man ihn in der Midcard gehalten und nun muss er mit seinem Bruder ein fragwürdiges Tag Team bilden. Klar die Matches der beiden sehen gut aus und Cody kann immerhin den TT-Title halten, aber sein Potenzial als Einzelwrestler wäre enorm. Außerdem wenn ich Stardust/Goldust mit der damaligen Legacy vergleiche, war die Legacy wesentlich stärker und interessanter."

[8.0] "The man of many gimmicks is a good in ring worker and has seemed to find his calling with his stardust character."

[8.0] "Warum steht Cody Rhodes eigentlich noch nicht im Main Event der WWE? Er kann alles: Sehr gut im Ring, top am Mic und schauspielern kann er sowieso. Sucht ihm ein gutes Gimmick (Stardust ist cool aber kein Gimmick für die Zukunft) und pusht ihn."

[6.0] "Cody Rhodes ist mit Leuten wie Kofi Kingston oder The Miz stellvertretend für eine Generation von Langweilern, die Mitte der 00er Jahre die alte Garde zunehmend ablösten. Erst mit den Shield-Jungs, Punk, Bryan und den Wyatts kam wieder etwas Attitüde zurück. Cody kann gut wrestlen und verkörpert auch einige Rollen ganz nett, aber es bleibt immer Schauspiel. Er ist einfach der ewige Azubi - profilloser Bubi, aalglatt, aufgesetzt. Daran ändert auch das Stardust Gimmick nichts. Im Gegenteil zeigt es den Kontrast zu seinem Bruder noch deutlicher auf, dem das Showgeschäft spürbar in die Wiege gelegt wurde."

He's a fantastic worker. However, he somehow hasn't reached the main event scene yet. I'm personally surprised he never made it with his Undashing gimmick but he has always done a great job with every character he played. I hope someday he's finally given an opportunity. Until then I'll just hope to see him every week doing what he does best."

[8.0] "Also er hatte ja schon als Singleswrestler in der Midcard geglänzt. Als Tag-Team-Wrestler ist er auch sehr erfolgreich. Und sein Stardust Gimmick wird ihn unvergesslich machen. Ich hoffe er bleibt noch länger Stardust und kommt als solcher nach ganz oben, dann kann ich mit meiner Wertung weiter nach oben gehn"

[8.0] "Nach der Legacy-Zeit - wonach sein ehemaliger Tag-Partner DiBiase nur noch so vor sich hinplätscherte - zeigte Cody zunächst beachtliche In-Ring-Leistungen, bevor man ihm mit dem Dashing-Gimmick die Möglichkeit gab, Mimik und Gestik direkter einzusetzen. Er nutzte die Chance gekonnt, gab seinem Gimmick in Midcard-Fehden Intensität. Diese Facetten und seine wrestlerischen Skills machen ihn zu einem wöchentlichen Midcard-highlight. EDIT: Trotz oberflächlich betrachteter Stagnation ist Cody weiterhin kreativ an seiner Fortentwicklung beschäftigt. Stark seine Rolle im Team mit Bruder Goldust; mutig sein Gimmick-change zu Stardust, den er auch konsequent und fast fandangoisch/tänzerisch verkörpert. Nicht mehr so kontrovers, dafür aber nicht minder extravagant und entschlossen!"

[9.0] "Cody ist einfach stark, ob als Singles oder Tag-Team-Wrestler. Am Mic und im Ring überragend. Wenn ich in die Vergangenheit blicke, war er als Psycho mit Maske absolut genial. Liegt auf jeden Fall auf der Lauer für mehr, hat ja auch noch ein paar Jahre vor sich. Mal sehen was noch kommt."

[8.0] "Great worker with a lot of interesting maneuvers and an extremely marketable look. Hopefully he'll grow into stardom one day."

[8.0] "Cody ist ein echt guter Worker, im Rind als auch am Mic wirklich gut! Was im fehlt ist ein Look und endlich ein Gimmick, dass nachhaltig zündet, dann sollte der Uppercard eigentlich nichts mehr im Wege stehen!"

[6.0] "Der einzige Mensch auf diesem Planeten, der 2014 einen reinen OLiBa tragen darf. Nein, tragen MUSS - Denn er ist gleichzeitig auch der einzige Mensch, der MIT einem OLiBa besser aussieht als Ohne. Gefällt mir nebenbei auch im Ring, Frisurentechnisch sowieso eine Bank!"

[8.0] "Hat sich stetig verbessert, egal ob in der Legacy, bei Priceless oder jetzt mit Goldust, er begeistert mich einfach immer mehr... Im Vergleich mit Ted DiBiase ist er auf jeden Fall besser! Als "Dashing" Cody Rhodes fand ich ihn schon gut aber als er damals als "Undashing" kam, hat er mich für sich begeistert wie es kein anderer der neueren Generation damals... ja eigentlich auch bis jetzt schaffen konnte! Auch meine 3 Jahre Wrestlingpause haben nichts daran geändert! Ich hoffe dass von ihm noch viel komen wird."

[9.0] "So underrated wrestler. I loved his IC title reign and his "dashing" gimmick."

[6.0] "Ist meiner Meinung nach als Wrestler zu austauschbar und farblos, um an die Erfolge seines Bruders oder gar Vaters anknüpfen zu können. Solider unspektakulärer Wrestler, der Midcard bleiben wird."

[8.0] "Einer für die Zukunft und dennoch schon lange dabei. Ein Push in den Main Event und im Titelgeschehen mitmischen dürfen, hätte er verdient. Doch im Main Event dann langsam aufbauen wie damals Edge. Hoffentlich wird nach Wrestlemania weniger auf die Teilzeitwrestler gesetzt"

[7.0] "im Ring eher überdurschnittlich, aber auch nichts besonderes. Am Mic ok und Charisma hat er auch, am besten aber im Tag-Team Bereich aufgehoben."

[9.0] "Die Zukunft der WWE... Sehe den Kerl echt gerne zu bei dem was er macht. Super ringskils und sehr ordentliches Mic-work. Hoffe er bekommt mal die Chance auf einen großen Run..."

[6.0] "At this point everyone should agree, that Cody is pretty much a midcarder for life. Nonetheless, I really like him. Solid on the mic, decent look, good between the ropes, unfortunately he really seems to lack charisma or crowd connection."

[8.0] "Was habe ich Rhodes lange Zeit lang als langweilig abgetan. Bei Legacy ein ödes Helferlein, danach zwar im Ring ansehnlich, aber immer noch mit der Ausstrahlung einer Tennissocke. Erst mit Sandow zusammen hat er gezeigt, dass er durchaus Charisma hat. Und seit MitB... wrestlerisch hat er sich weiterentwickelt, sein Charisma entdeckt und dann sogar mit Goldust zusammen Intensität entwickelt. Macht er so weiter und behält das alles, dann ist er neben Reigns, Ambrose, Cesaro (und eventuell Zyan und Crowe, sollten die mal in die Hauptshows kommen) einer der WWE-Hoffnungsträger (ich lasse mal Leute, die schon im Main Event stehen aussen vor)."

[7.0] "Der perfekte Midcarder; guter Worker, am Mic ok, mit dem Look und Charisma wird es wohl nie was werden."

[9.0] "Sein äußeres ist ein wenig langweilig und ohne großen Wiedererkennungswert. Man denkt, man hätte einen einfachen Worker vor sich. Schaut man aber mal seine In-Ring-Fähigkeiten an, dann ist er einer der spektakulärsten Wrestler zur Zeit. Tolles Move-Set, schnell, kräftig. Hoffentlich steigt er noch ein wenig auf... und legt sich ein anständiges Gimmick zu."

[10.0] "Best wrestler on this time, he take first own championship defeated Randy Orton."

[7.0] "Hatte den Herrn Rhodes bisher immer unter der Kategorie "Lahme Standard-Badehose" gespeichert, da lag ich definitv falsch. In letzter Zeit macht er sich echt. Schönes Moveset, gute Ausstrahlung, guter Einsatz seitens der Writer. Zudem ist sein Potenzial längst noch nicht erschöpft. Zukünftiger Uppercarder, evtl. sogar noch etwas mehr."

[9.0] "Zu seiner Titelregendschaft 2011-2012 war er einer meiner Lieblings Wrestler. Doch dann wurde er langsam langweilig. Umso mehr freue ich mich nun, dass er momentan im Mittelpunkt steht, und man ihn wieder als Anwärter großer Titel zählen kann."

[8.0] "Kommt hier teilweise viel zu schlecht weg! Hat sehr an sich gearbeitet, das muss man schon zugeben und auch anrechnen. Im Ring ist er zwischenzeitlich mehr als nur solide und stets unterhaltsam. Am Mikro hat sich auch etwas getan, deutlich stärker als früher. Insgesamt reicht es noch nicht für eine Bewertung über 8, denn dafür fehlt noch ein bisschen was am Mikro und am Auftreten. Finde es sehr schade, dass er noch keinen großen Titel gewinnen durfte, verdient hätte er es auf jeden Fall!"

[5.0] "Naja ganz ok, trift es glaube ich bei Cody. Ist jetzt nichts besonderes."

[6.0] "Ich sehe es einfach nicht. Er ist gut im Ring - teilweise sehr gut, aber in der Regel doch nur solide. Sein Gimmick? Er hat einiges ausprobiert und ist bei mir nie over gekommen. Die Papiertütensache hatte was, war aber auch nichts was langfristig funktionieren konnte. Charismatisch? Naja, einigermaßen Am Mic? Naja, in Ordnung. Am besten gefiel er mir zu Legacy Zeiten und er verdient auch sicherlich seinen Spot im oberen Mittelfeld, aber ich finde Ihn einfach nicht besonders. Vielleicht weiß er mich irgendwann zu überzeugen. Gimmicksache denke ich."

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes hat sowohl gute In-Ring-Fähigkeiten als auch ein mehr als akzeptables Micwork entwickelt und ist jemand, der bald den nächsten Schritt machen sollte. Er hat schon mehr als genug Midcard und Tag Team Titel gewonnen, jetzt muss er zeigen, dass er ein Main Eventer werden kann. Man scheint ihm mit dem Faceturn (nachdem er als Heel zuvor keineswegs schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich auffällig war) jetzt eben diese Chance zu geben. Nachdem er bis jetzt nur als Teil der Legacy in höheren Cardregionen stehen durfte, sollte die Chance auf den World Title bald kommen. Ich hoffe, dass es bei ihm und Ex-Partner Sandow nicht "entweder ... oder" sondern "beide" heißt."

[8.0] "Er kann viel mehr, als er zeigen darf und außerdem ist er ein zukünftiger World Champion. Desweiteren ist es schade, dass die WWE ihn noch nicht in ein World Title Match gesetzt hat und er den Titel auch noch nicht gewinnen durfte."

[8.0] "Er steckt seit langem in der Midcard fest, wobei er wenn es nach mir ginge, im Main Event stehen würde. Vielleicht kommt es jetzt durch den Turn dazu."

[9.0] "Cody is very underrated now. he has a great talent and son of Dusty Rhodes. they pushed him up right now."

[8.0] "Mit Cody spült die WWE einen weiteren potentiellen Main Eventer das Klo runter. Es ist wirklich traurig, dass jemand so talentiertes wie Cody Rhodes zu einem Edeljobber gemacht wird. Sowohl im Ring als auch am Mic überdurschnittlich gut. Ich hoffe er bekommt noch mal einen großen Push. PS. : Ich finde der Schnurri steht ihm ^^."

[8.0] "Für mich persönlich ist Cody Rhodes eines der größten Talente der WWE und besitzt auf jeden Fall Main Event Potential. Leider scheint die WWE das nicht zu erkennen und hat ihn mittlerweile fallengelassen, nachdem es einige Zeit danach aussah, als ob man ihm einen großen Push geben will. Ich hoffe, dass sich das entweder in Zukunft wieder ändern wird und er doch noch seinen verdienten Push bekommen wird oder dass er die Promotion wechselt und woanders sein Können zeigt."

[7.0] "Hätte nicht gedacht, dass man den werten Herrn Rhodes aktuell wirklich so in der Luft hängen lässt. Nach seinem Masken-Gimmick und den Duellen mit Rey hätte ich mir eigentlich vorstellen können, dass man ihn am Main Event schnuppern lässt, allerdings verschwand er nach und nach in der Belanglosigkeit. Schade, Potential hat er definitiv."

[8.0] "Für mich ein sehr kompletter WWE Wrestler, der keine wirklichen Schwächen hat und in fast allen Bereichen überdurchschnittlich stark ist. Hat sich stetig weiterentwickelt. Doch um nun den finalen Schritt Richtung Main Event zu machen, braucht es auch mal ein richtiges Gimmick, das über den arroganten 08/15-WWE-Heel hinausgeht. Diese Rolle liegt Rhodes zwar, ist jedoch so abgegriffen, dass ihm damit kaum der große Wurf gelingen wird. Was schade ist. Denn von allen jungen bzw. neuen Talenten, die in der WWE über die letzten Jahre hochkamen, halte ich Rhodes für den vielseitigsten. Wo Miz starke Promos liefert, im Ring aber allenfalls Mittelmaß ist und wo es sich bei Ziggler genau andersherum verhält, da bietet Cody Rhodes ein gerüttelt Maß von allem. Es fehlt ihm noch die Rolle, die ihn in den Fokus rückt und erlaubt all diese Dinge auch mal eine Stufe höher abzurufen. Allerdings glaube ich, dass dies nur eine Frage der Zeit ist, bis sich das ändert. Rhodes hat definitiv das Zeug zum Star."

[9.0] "Super Techniker im Ring, keine Frage. Aber auch am Mic entwickelt er sich stetig weiter und es scheint nur noch eine Frage der Zeit zu sein, bis er sich im WWE Main Event etablieren kann. Sein IC-Titlerun war super und hat uns den alten Gürtel zurückgebracht, der nicht nur viel besser aussieht, sondern den seinerzeit Wrestler wie Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels oder Mr Perfect getragen haben. Für den Titel war das sicher eine Aufwertung, die schon längst überfällig war, und für Cody ein Schritt nach oben."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes steht nur eine Top-Fehde davor, in den Main Event zu kommen. Der Sohn des American Dream hat alles was man braucht, um PPVs zu headlinen. Im Ring ist er zu sehr anständigen Matches fähig, Charisma hat er ohne Ende und dazu noch das Redetalent seines Vaters geerbt. Mit dem letzten Feinschliff ist er ohne Zweifel ein künftiger Top-Player der McMahon-Company."

[9.0] "Cody Rhodes hat auf jeden Fall das Potential ein ganz großer zu werden, aber dafür muss ich man so langsam mal in eine World Title Fehde stecken. Aber wenn das passiert, hoffe ich dass er sich da oben festsetzen kann und viel erreicht."

[8.0] "ich halt ihn für einen absolut talentierten worker der mit dem IC-Title absolut gut besetzt wäre."

[9.0] "Cody ist für mich der talentierteste Jungstar der WWE. Sein Run als Intercontinental Champion war einfach großartig. Auch seine Fehden gegen Rey Mysterio und vor allem Randy Orton hatten Biss. Ich wünschte, er würde weiter gepuscht werden, er ist allemal ein Titelanwärter!"

[8.0] "Ich muss schon sagen als er mit Hardcore Holly angefangen hat war er noch recht uninteressant, nicht auffallend, er war einfach nur da. Dann kam die Legacy Zeit zusammen mit DiBiase, Ortons Prügelknabe der meist nur vorgeschickt wurde um von Triple H geklatscht zu werden, damit fast noch uninteressanter. Dann kam die Dashing Zeit, mMn total lame relativ farblos mit richtig unnötigen Promos ein wirklich mieses Gimmick. Dann war da noch die Un-dashing Zeit noch schlimmer als das Dashing Gimmick und total nervig dafür haben sich seine In-Ring Leistungen stetig verbessert. Doch dann als Demaskierter Rhodes mit so etwas wie Persönlichkeitsstörungen, seit der Zeit finde ich den Typen richtig Genial (ein relativ gutes bis sehr gutes Mic-Work hatte er schon immer) aber nun einfach Klasse, ich konnte den Kerl einfach nicht abhaben aber hier mit seinem aktuellen Gimmick zeigt er richtig wie gut er als Heel agieren kann, Gewinnt verdient den IC- Titel, schafft den alten IC Titel wieder her und hatte auch eine gute lange Regentschaft. imo einer der Top Heels in der Company seine Zeit als World Champion wird sicherlich auch noch kommen. Von mir Definitiv gute 8 Punkte."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes gehört über kurz oder lang in den Mainevent. Er kann gute Promos halten und verfügt über eine Klasse Technik. Ich finde es allerdings gut, dass man nicht alles übers Knie bricht und ihn behutsam mit guten Midcard-Fehden aufbaut, schließlich gehört Rhodes zu den jüngsten im gesamten Roster. Allerdings habe ich keine Zweifel daran, dass er - sofern alles normal verläuft - in absehbarer Zeit das ganz große Gold holen wird."

[9.0] "Ich finde Cody hat sich echt gemacht und in der WWE! Ist er meiner meinung nach einer der besten Mid-Carder, die Fehde mit Big Show ist der letzte Dreck aber die WWE Booker halt, kann man nicht mehr viel erwarten. Aufjedenfall hat er sich super entwickelt und ich bin gespannt wie es mit ihm weiter geht."

[6.0] "L'Update: In Anbetracht der Kondratjew-Zyklen setzt man Rhodes immer genau dann richtig ein, wenn die WWE es am dringensten nötig hat. Zur Zeit der Legacy war der Mann ein Juwel neben DiBiase und war dafür verantwortlich, den Arsch der WWE auf den Stuhl zu hieven. Nach dem Split und der Dashing-Phase ging es bergauf, aber nicht für Rhodes. Der musste sich mit diesem tuntenhaftigen Gimmick identifizieren, was natürlich bei mir auf den Magen schlug. Was dann folgt: Hochkonjunktur für Rhodes: Weg mit der Gurkenmaske, her mit der Gesichtsmaske. Weg mit den Pflegetipps, hier sind die starken Promos. Und so langsam mit der Zeit, nachdem er nun endlich(! ) Knieschoner und Handbandage angelegt hat, zeigt er auch sein wahres Können. Redetechnisch und wrestlerisch. In der Midcard ist Rhodes wirklich gut aufgehoben, denn als Heavyweight Champion würde ich ihn nicht gerne sehen, dafür ist er zu schmächtig (Seitenhieb an alle Heavyweight Champions kleiner gleich 100kg). Warum die Punktzahl nur bei sechs stehen bleibt: Guckt euch die Fehde mit Big Show an, dann wisst ihr vielleicht mehr."

[7.0] "Nicht mehr als Durchschnitt im Ring, hat weniger Präsenz als sein Partner DiBiase und um Gottes Willen, gebt ihm kein Mikro mehr in die Hand! Mal schauen was die Zukunft bringt, derzeit nicht mehr als "ausreichend" EDIT: Alle Achtung, hat sich gemaußert. Eine Aufwertung ist definitiv fällig"

[10.0] "Hat sich gemacht, technisch schon immer gut, jetzt auch charismatisch. Mit der Maske hat er endlich seinen verdienten Push bekommen und dem IC Titel hat er auf jeden Fall nicht geschadet. Seine Statur hält ihn aber wohl zurück... schade"

[10.0] "Bin erschrocken über die niedrige Bewertung! Meiner Meinung nach DER kommende Superstar. Finde ihn besser als Ziggler, der ja sein aufstrebender Pendant bei Raw ist. Am Mic ist Rhodes einfach Top! Seine gesamte Ausstrahlung hat was, schon allein wenn sein Theme ertönt und er die Stage betritt hat das irgendwie was besonderes (grade bei der Survivor Series) Im Ring ist er überdurchschnittlich gut. Hatte jetzt einen durchschnittlichen Run als Intercontinental Champion, denke es wird gegen Ende des Jahres in Richtung Main Event gehen! Freue mich auf die kommenden Jahre mit ihm. "The next big thing" meiner Meinung nach. Nur dieses Kostüm von Wrestlemania sollte er mal weglassen.."

[10.0] "Sein Dashing Gimmick war schon gut, als Heel einfach nur Klasse ! 10 Punkte."

[9.0] "Cody hat sich super entwickelt! Ein Heel, dessen Meinung man zwar nicht teilt, aber ich höre ihm gerne zu, wenn er seine Reden schwingt. Seine Stimme ist in der WWE einfach einzigartig."

[8.0] "Aufwertung auf 8 Punkte. Gefällt mir in letzter Zeit wirklich sehr gut am Mikrofon und Ausstrahlung kann man ihm auch nicht absprechen. Im Ring ohnehin ein Guter."

[7.0] "Hat auch durch gute Gimmicks im letzten Jahr eine großartige Entwicklung vollzogen und überzeugt inzwischen bis auf wenige Ausfälle regelmäßig. Vielleicht doch in nicht zu weit entfernter Zukunft bereit für einen World Title."

[10.0] "Der Junge hat großes Potenzial. Das neue Gimmick passt wie die Faust aufs Auge. Zukünftiger WWE-Main Eventer, mit allem, was man dazu brauch! 10 Punkte!"

[8.0] "Technisch empfinde ich ihn als durchaus gut, aber noch besser finde ich persöhnlich seine Promos, finde ihn als Heel sehr überzeugend, deshalb gibts da auch volle 8 Punkte von mir"

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes is a good wrestler for his mic-skill and his in-ring level. I hope that he will be this year world champion."

[9.0] "My vote is 9 for the InterContinetal Champion. 2011 was the best year for Cody and he will become better."

[7.0] "Endlich wieder ohne Maske bringt er sein "dashing good looks" und seinen ansteckend geilen Theme wieder mit und der Typ ist wieder der bringer."

[9.0] "Ich finde den guten einfach genial. Weiß für mich in seinem Gimmick als gestörter mit Maske als auch jetzt wieder mit seinem Gimmick ohne Maske sowohl am Mic, Charismatisch und In-Ring zu überzeugen. Zudem hat er sich seit seiner farblosen Zeit in der Legacy sehr gebessert. Für mich ein zukünftiger World Champion."

[9.0] "Ich sehe in Rhodes viel Talent, aber der gute Cody hinterlässt bei mir keinen bleibenden Eindruck, wenn er nicht mal über ein neues Outfit denken würde. Und dann wäre noch Etwas: Er ist gut, doch das alleine reicht nicht, um in der WWE ins Main Event zu kommen. Er müsste sich noch ein paar Pfund antrainieren, um von mir ernstgenommen werden zu können."

[10.0] "His promos and in ring work have been amazing, I was afraid that he was buried after the whole Legacy thing, but ever since Mysterio put him over him at WrestleMania he has been awesome. He is going to breakout into the main event in the later part of 2012 and early 2013. If put over at WrestleMania again and by Booker T in the early stages of 2012 he will be ready for the main event scene, he will either win MitB or win the actual WHC!"

[8.0] "Unglaublich, wie stark er sich in den Jahren verbessert hat, im Ring, Mic und Ausstrahlung. Hat auch endlich die Maske weg und trägt Knieschoner. Seine Beine sehen einfach wie Zahnstocher aus. Aber ehrlich ohne diese Maske, verkörpert er noch mehr Ausstrahlung. Vor allem bei SSeries 11 hat er vollends überzeugt und er hat auch viele Chants von den Fans bekommen. Neben Barret ein potenzieller Kandidatt für den Champion Titel"

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes hat sone niedrige Bewertung! ? Was is los mit euch? Seit ich ihn zu seinen Tag-Team-Zeiten zum ersten mal gesehen habe bin ich ein großer Fan. Er hat einfach was: Die Fähigkeit seinen Charakter, egal welchen er darstellen soll, authentisch rüber zu bringen. Sein aktueller Run als "Masken"-Mann ist göttlich. Großartiger Wrestler!"

[7.0] "Lange Zeit einer der grausten Mäuse der jüngeren WWE-Geschichte, sieht man mal vom Geschehen rund um die Legacy sowie die Regenschaften als Tag Team-Champion ab. Vorallem aber ab 2011 hat er sich auffällig positiv entwickelt. Da er zudem noch relativ jung ist, kann man, sofern er sich weiter so gut entwickelt, mit ihm rechnen."

[7.0] "13. 01. 2010 (5 Punkte): Charismatisch steht er nicht so gut da wie sein Partner DiBiase, aber er hat durchaus Ansätze aus denen sich etwas entwickeln könnte. Wrestlerisch durch seine bisherige Karierre, die fast ausschließlich auf Tag Team Matches basiert immernoch nicht richtig einzuschätzen. Ich kann mir aber bisher irgendwie nicht vorstellen ihn alleine sehen zu wollen. Da muss man bei ihm irgendwie noch sehr viel mehr gute Ideen einbringen, als es dann bei Ted nötig sein wird. Am Mic gefiel er mir einige male schon ganz gut, andere Tage auch wieder gar nicht. EDIT: Charismatisch ist er ohne Gimmicks immernoch so wertvoll wie ne Gurke, allerdings kann er sich jetzt gut mit einem Gimmick ummanteln und sich echt frisch und interessant machen. Mich stört dieses langsame "Phantom-der-Oper-Heel-Gerede" überhaupt nicht, da es aktuell niemand weiter gibt der sich auf diese Art ausspricht. Dadurch hat er sein durchaus vorhandenes Mic Work jetzt zu seinem Trademark gemacht. Im Ring hat er sich pfiffig entwickelt. Sein IC Titlerun ist der beste seit langem, da der Titel auch mal verteidigt wird. Weiter so und bald mal ein Big Match um seine Qualitäten noch mehr aufzuzeigen."

[10.0] "Cody Rhodes ist einfach super im Ring und am Mikrofon hat er so eine speziele Stimme. Sein aktuelles Gimick ist zwar schon ein bisschen langweilig aber Rhodes hat einfach was drauf."

[7.0] "Fand ihn anfangs in der Legacy farblos. Das hat sich seit Kurzem allerdings geändert. Man sieht, dass viel versucht wird ihn zu pushen: die Paperbags, die Maske und der Old School IC Titel. Mir gefällt seine Art am Mic als Art "Joker" zu sprechen (Mund verziehen, auffälliges Ein- und Ausatmen unter der Maske... ) und auch sein Finisher ist geil. Nach der Attacke gegen Orton hoffe ich auf eine interessante Fehde. Das neue Gimmick gefällt mir deshalb viel besser; auch wenn es unlogisch ist 1 Jahr lang einen Nasenbeinbruch zu haben ^^"

[10.0] "Cody ist der Wrestler, der mich zurzeit am meisten interessiert bzw von dem ich positiv überrascht bin. Als er angefangen hat war er halt der Sohn von Dusty Rhodes und mehr nicht. Doch nun hat er sich zu einer eigenständigen, interessanten Persönlichkeit entwickelt und ich denke, dass er zu einer der festen Größen in der Zukunft der WWE sein wird. Diesen Sprung hat er meiner Meinung nach geschafft, weil er sich im Ring und am Mic deutlich verbessert hat und weil er sein aktuelles Gimmik einfach super praktiziert. 10 Punkte für einen kommenden World Heavyweight Champion!"

[8.0] "Ich find Rhodes aktuell dermaßen stark, dass ich mir für ihn wirklich eine lange, lange Regentschaft als IC-Champ und anschließend vielleicht sogar den Gang in Richtung World Title wünsche. Seine Promos finde ich klasse; er wirkt immer etwas abwesend, abgehoben, fast schon entmenschlicht. Und im Ring hat er sich nochmal deutlich gesteigert. Somit ein Komplettpaket, dem letztlich nur die Statur fehlt, um Brocken wie Cena, HHH oder Henry herauszufordern."

[8.0] "Hat sich wirklich gemacht. Begann als einigermaßen Farbloser Tag Team Wrestler. Nach dem Split der Legacy war er lange ein noch farbloserer Singles Wrestler. Sein kurzer Run als Mr. "Ich bin so schön, ich bin so toll" hat mir auch überhaupt nicht gefallen. Aber derzeit gefällt er mir wirklich gut. Wenn er so weiter macht, ist er bald in World-Title-Regionen zu finden."

[8.0] "Wer hätte das mal gedacht? Als Rhodes debütierte fand ich ihn langweilig. Dann kamd er Heelturn und er wurde bei Legacy interessant. Dann kam der Split und ich dachte er kann sich nicht im Einzel durchsetzen, aber auch hier hat das geschafft. Derzeit einer der besseren Heels, die mich richtig unterhalten. Ist noch jung, gutes Gimmick, toll im Ring, ich hoffe man baut auf ihn in der Zukunft. Da steckt noch viel drin."

[10.0] "Einer meiner Lieblingswrestler. Gut im Ring & am Mic. Hoffentlich fehdet er gegen Orton (vllt. mit DiBiase) um den IC."

[9.0] "Also da muss ich meine alte Wertung doch mal stark überdenken. Seitdem er mit der Maske da ist, ist er ein super glaubwürdiger Heel geworden und mittlerweile draue ich ihm alles zu. Nur weiter so!"

[5.0] "Ich muss meine zuerst abgegebene Wertung inzwischen nach unten korrigieren. Er ist der Typ mit den Papiertüten. Während seiner Matches ist es den Fans wichtiger, eine Tüte zu bekommen, als Cody bei der Arbeit zuzusehen. Er trägt immer noch die Maske, was ihn aber auch nicht mehr interessant macht. Zudem ist er auch noch einer der schlechteren Jericho-Klone. Jeder zweite trägt inzwischen schicke Anzüge im Ring und spricht seine Promos ganz langsam. Jericho hats vorgemacht."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes ist für mich ein guter Allrounder im Ring. Mit den richtigen Gegnern und genügend Matchzeit kann er das Match des Abends abliefern, der aber auch (schwächere) Wrestler zu einem soliden Match ziehen kann. Im Bereich Micwork hat er sich in den letzten Jahren mehr als gesteigert und gehört mittlerweile zu den besten Micworkern bei SmackDown. Bei Legacy stand er noch im Schatten von Randy Orton und Ted diBiase Jr, nach Legacy hat er nicht nur diBiase überholt, sondern auch viele ehemalige Midcard-Kollegen. Er hat das Zeug zum World Heavyweight Champion und dauerhaften Main Eventer, auch wenn er nicht ganz so massig ist wie ein Cena oder Orton."

[8.0] "Bisher noch unter seinen Erwartungen - aber er wird definitiv noch einer der ganz großen Superstars."

[8.0] "Als Heel seit seiner Maske sehr überzeugend, gefällt mir derzeit bei SmackDown gut.."

[7.0] "Mochte ihn als "Dashing" und fand sein neues Gimmick zunächst richtig schlimm. Aber inzwischen gefällt es mir, nicht zuletzt weil es sich stark davon unterscheidet, was sonst 80% der WWE Heels ausmacht. Sogar sein Lispeln lässt sich durch den neuen Charakter irgendwie verkaufen. Insofern: weiter so, dann kann er früh genug ein Main Event-Star werden."

[6.0] "Rhodes Gimmick sagt mir überhaupt nicht zu. Erst der Kosmetik-Tips gebende Schönling, nun der mental angegriffene Maskenträger - beide Facetten finde ich nicht wirklich gut. Er braucht wie so viele andere aktuelle WWE-Midcader mal wieder eine langfristige, gut inszenierte Fehde, um auf sich aufmerksam machen zu können und seinen Charakter weiterzuentwickeln."

[7.0] "Als "Undashing" zu Beginn eine wahre Offenbarung aber mittlerweile fehlt seinem Charakter die Tiefe. Braucht wieder ne vernünftige Fehde um das Blatt zu wenden. EDIT: 666 - how epic"

[8.0] "Im Ring begabt keibe Frage. Finde ihn allerdings in seiner Gimmick und in seinem Mic-Work uu Aufgesetzt. Kann noch ein Grosser werden, mir Persönlich aber zu Langweillig."

[7.0] "7 Punkte ist Cody mir wert. Das Wrestlemania und das Match bei Extreme Rules gegen Rey Mysterio waren gut und seine Charakterwandlung war auch recht interessant."

[8.0] "Bewies bereits in Zeiten der Legacy, dass er in Sachen Ausstrahlung und Sicherheit am Mikrofon seinem seltsamerweise hochgehypten Tag Team Partner einiges voraus hat. Dazu hat der junge Rhodes im Ring schwer was drauf. Der Draft zu SmackDown sollte schließlich die entscheidende Determinante seiner heutigen Overness werde. Neues Theme, neues Gimmick, Codys Grooming Tips, viel Mictime, neue Charakterfacetten und schließlich der eindrucksvolle Wrestlemania-Sieg. Aufgrund des derzeitigen Heel-Überschusses bei SmackDown hängt Cody zwar gerade etwas in der Luft, seine Zeit wird aber definitiv noch kommen."

[8.0] "Anfangs konnte ich überhaupt nichts mit Rhodes Jr. anfangen. Doch er überzeugt mich von Match zu Match immer mehr, seit er Teil der SmackDown! -Crew geworden ist und somit im Solo-Bereich zuständig ist. Allerdings sollte man ihn öfter bei SD! sehen können, statt bei Superstars - im Main Roster könnte er durchaus ein paar Promos halten und so sein Micwork verbessern und Heat vom Universum ziehen (ist derzeit nicht der Fall - die Fans bejubeln ihn, weil er gute Leistungen im Ring zeigt). Ich liebe seine Einzugsmusik und seinen Finisher. Hoffe, er bekommt einen Push zum Intercontinental Champion - Kofi braucht den Titel in my Opinion nicht. EDIT: Wow. Die Wertung bleibt (hab ihn anfangs wohl etwas überbewertet), aber er hat sich so sehr gebessert. Am Mic unglaublich unterhaltsam, hochinteressanter Charakter, im Ring sogar gesteigert, mit einer angenehmen Aggresivität und Schnelligkeit als Markenzeichen. Da sieht man, wer wirklich als Gewinner aus dem Legacy-Duo erschienen ist. Könnte tatsächlich eines Tages World Champion werden."

[5.0] "Als Wrestler ganz in Ordung, aber mit dem Gimmick ist nichts anzufangen, man kann mit ihm kaum eine vernünftige storyline aufbauen außerhalb des Ringes sehr langweilig"

[9.0] "Cody ist einfach sehr underrated. Finde ihn unglaublich unterhaltsam und war immer der Meinung, dass er der bessere der beiden Priceless-Männer war/ist. Das Dashing-Gimmick fand ich ganz gut, dachte aber, dass es ihm eher schadet und ihn zurück in die Undercard schickt. Dann kam aber diese grandiose Wende zu seinem neuen Psycho-Gimmick: AWESOME! Hinter Punk mein Favorit zur Zeit in der WWE."

[10.0] "Für mich definitiv mittlerweile einer der absolut Besten. Das derzeitige Gimmick ist MEGA! Wie er den Charakter verkörpert ist weltklasse. Dazu noch richtig gute In-Ring Leistungen - 10/10!"

[7.0] "Zur Legacy Zeit war er ein Niemand, ganz ehrlich. Mit dem Dashing Gimmick war er war jemand, aber jemand über den man sich lustig gemacht hat, und den man nicht ernstnehmen konnte. Momentan hat er eins der besten Gimmicks der WWE."

[9.0] "Einer der interessantesten Charaktere im WWE TV im Moment. Das Gimmick mit der Maske und den Papiertüten rockt einfach. Zeigt außerdem sehr gute Matches. Cody ha auf jeden Fall noch eine glorreiche Kariere vor sich."

[7.0] "Es wird eindeutig Zeit Cody deutlich aufzuwerten! Die 4 Pünktchen die ich ihm noch vor 2-3 Jahren gegeben habe sind mittlerweile eindeutig zu wenig. Cody besitzt mittlerweile Ausstrahlung die er vor 2 Jahren noch nicht hatte. Er ist am Mic deutlich besser geworden und verkauft sein Gimick mittlerweile sehr Gut. Er war im Ring schon immer ein talentierter Mann der in der Lage ist sehr gute Matches zu bestreiten. In den letzten Monaten hat er sich zu einen sehr guten Heel gemausert der einen gut unterhalten kann. Es ist sicherlich noch Luft nach oben, aber er ist ja noch Jung und hat in den letzten Jahren gezeigt das man sich von einem Charismalosen guten Wrestler zu dem entwickeln kann was er jetzt ist."

[8.0] "Nach seiner Zeit in der Legacy hät ich mir nie träumen lassen, dass er eine solche Entwicklung nimmt. Ist auf dem richtigen Weg. Wenn er sein Gimmick, welches perfekt auf ihn zugeschnitten ist, weiterausbaut und auch in gute Storys eingebunden wird, sehe ich in ihm auf jeden Fall einen kommenden Maineventer. Wahrscheinlich über Money-in-the-bank."

[8.0] "Cody gefällt mir momentan ziemlich gut, wenn man bedenkt, das sein erstes Gimmick, ein " Ich bin ein 2 nd Genreationsuperstar"- gimmick war, nur er nur Anhängsel von Orton war, und sogar DiBiase mehr hochgelobt wurde, der sogar von einigen schon bald im Mainevent gesehen wurde, hat sich dies nun geändert, der Wechsel zu Smackdown hat ihm gut getan, sein momentanes Psycho-Gimmick gefällt mir sehr, das einzig nicht so gute sind die Promos, die sind alle irgendwie eintönig und gleich. Zudem hat er noch einen der Topstars der WWE bei Wrestlemania besiegt, ich traue im bei dieser Entwicklung zu dem noch einen großen Sprung nach oben zu."

[9.0] "Herausragend! Ein passendes Eort, finde ich. Rhodes hat nach dem Split der Legacy ganz schön an Skills zugelegt. Vergessen wir einfach mal das peinliche und nervtötende "dashing" Gimmick und gehen zu dem genialen Rhodes über, der er heute ist. Seit der Story mit Mysterio gefällt mir Rhodes einfach unglaublich gut. Die Promos sind einwandfrei und auch im Ring überzeugt er völlig. Die ganze Art von ihm ist einfach unglaublich gut. Nur etwas seltsam, dass er die Maske weiterhin trägt. Passt zwar, aber so langsam sollte sein Näschen doch iweder heil sein. ;) 9 wohlverdiente Punkte"

[8.0] "Schönes Heel Gimmick. Kann ihn mir noch nicht als supermächtigen Main Event Gegner vorstellen, zumindest nicht dauerhaft, aber ab und zu mal ein Ausflug nach oben könnte denk ich nix schaden."

[8.0] "Hat nix, was ihn jetzt wirklich zu einem richtig guten Superstar macht. DiBiase hat beispielsweise wesentlich mehr Ausstrahlung als Cody. Schlecht ist Cody hingegen allerdings auch nicht, aber halt irgendwie in allen Belangen als einzelner Worker nur Durchschnitt. Korrektur: So wird man Lügen gestraft. Cody hat seinen Weg gemacht, überzeugt mehr als DiBiase und ist im Moment am Mic einfach Gold wert. sein Gimmick passt perfekt und er weiß seine Rolle zu verkaufen. 2 Punkte mehr."

[8.0] "UPDATE: Er hat mir in den vergangenen Wochen und PPVs (Wrestlemania & Extreme Rules) sehr gefallen. Sein Psycho-Gimmick, die damit verbundenen Promos und seine In-Ring-Skills haben mich für seine jungen Verhältnisse sehr beeindruckt. Er unterhält wirklich gut und überzeugt vollkommen ... mMn ist er unterhaltsamer als The Miz, welcher bei den Promos nachlässt und im Ring noch nie gut war. Weiter so Cody, ich will dass aus dir noch mehr wird! 1 Punkt mehr für den Psycho Cody!"

[8.0] "Seit der Fehde mit Mysterio sehr Charismatisch und kriegt von mir dehalb 8 Punkte."

[10.0] "Einer meiner Lieblingswrestler. Man kann seit seiner Anfangszeit eine deutlich Verbesserung sehen. Er hat ein gutes Gimmick, gute In-Ring-Skills und ist gut am Mic. Für mich ist er in naher Zukunf ein Main Eventer. CODY RHODES FOR WORLD CHAMPION! ;)"

[10.0] "Überzeugt mich mit seinem Gimmick, auch Technisch um einiges besser geworden. Derzeit mihmt er für mich den besten Heel und bin sehr gespannt darauf mit wem er als nächstes ne Fehde hat, denke da an Orton der ihn ein grossen Push mit einer Fehde geben kann nur sollte man ihn da nicht so wegkommen lassen wie es mit punk wohl sein wird."

[6.0] "Sehr gutes Gimmick momentan, im Ring solide - mehr aber nicht. Am Mic nur Standard, Charisma mäßig bis zum Gimmick Wechsel absolute Obernull. Weiß nicht so wirklich was ich von ihm halten soll, früher hätte ich ihm höchstens 4 Punkte gegeben, aber er überzeugt im Ring deutlich mehr und ist interessanter - da komm ich (erst mal) auf 6 Punkte."

[9.0] "Momentan mein absoluter Favorit in der WWE. Promo-technisch hat er sich enorm entwickelt, was man sogar schon zu Legacy Zeiten absehen konnte. Im Ring kann er ebenfalls die Show stehlen. Dazu kommt sein momentanes Gimmick, welches sich von dem Einheitsbrei in der WWE absolut abhebt und unglaublich unterhaltsam ist. Ich prognostiziere eine großartige Zukunft. Momentan 9 Punkte, Tendenz nach oben."

[10.0] "Hat sein altes schwaches Gimmik abgelegt, sein neues bringt er so gut rüber, gutes Mic-work, gute moves er sollte den grossen Push bekommen!"

[8.0] "Cody ist wieder einmal ein Beweis, wie man sich irren kann, wenn man ein Team trennt. Ich hätte schwören können, dass Ted der Star werden und man von Cody bald nichts mehr hören würde. Mittlerweile muss ich sagen, dass sein Dashing-Gimmick schon gut umgesetzt war, er mit der Fehde gegen Rey Mysterio mich aber inzwischen komplett überzeugt und mich so zu einem Fan von ihm gemacht hat."

[10.0] "Also momentan finde ich ist er mit der interessanteste Charakter bei Smackdown! Seine Promos sind in letzter Zeit richtig stark. Und als Undashing denke ich hat er eine große Zukunft ..."

[8.0] "Hat die Art von einer Hyaene, die sich um die Opfer anderer schleicht und sich die Reste holt. Gleicht sich Orten sehr und ich glaube er wird die Legacy als letzter verlassen, weil er noch nichts anderes hat. Sein Auftreten und Arroganz kommt sehr gut rueber. Wird mal ein echt guter"

[9.0] "haha was fürn nice gimmick :D nur eines muß ich bemängeln, das mit dem Handtuch auf dem Kopf fand ich noch lustiger. Im Ring auch sehr hübsch anzusehen."

[9.0] "Einer meiner Lieblingsworker momentan, er hat einfach etwas und kann mit den richtigen Gegnern echte Showstealer hinlegen. Überzeugt mich von Woche zu Woche mehr, ich hoffe man gibt ihm bald den Push in den Main Event"

[7.0] "Von mir sehr gern gesehener junger Wrestler, der toll wrestlen und reden kann und bei mehr Körpermasse eine sichere Wahl für eine Main-Event-Karriere wäre. Auch so aber ein so gutes WWE-Style-Allround-Talent, dass viel für ihn drin ist. Wrestlerisch imstande zu Spektakulärem, aber versteht es anders als so viele andere ähnliche Wrestlertypen, das sinnvoll zu dosieren. Das Dashing-Gimmick hat ihm auch Kontur verliehen und war für mich etwas verschenkt, die psychopathische Variation ist jetzt noch einmal einen Zacken interessanter."

[8.0] "Chrisma und gute Mic-Skills hat er, im Ring aber nur mittelmäßig. Hat mich bisher nicht so überzeugt, so dass ich ihm erstmal 7 Punkte gebe.. mit einer ordentlichen Fehde kann sich das ja noch ändern. Edit:Da ist die ordentliche Fehde, macht einfach ne super Figur in der Fehde mit Rey. Hat großes Potenzial und wird hoffentlich noch weit kommen!"

[10.0] "Rhodes is perhaps the best young wrestler in WWE. He has good movement. He has great technical skills. He has a great build, and is very good looking. Plus being as dashing as he is, it works to a charm. However, that gimmick became tired, and one dimensional. After his injury against Mysterio he added a spice to it. He became paranoid and has become a bit unhinged now. The new Cody Rhodes is amazing and I cannot wait to see what the future hyas in store for him."

[7.0] "Wenn ich mich festlegen müsste, würde ich Cody Rhodes Stand heute wohl die bessere Karriere prophezeien als seinem einstigen Tag Team-Partner Ted DiBiase. Wo DiBiase Langeweile wie etwas Greifbares ausstrahlt, ist Rhodes mit seinem "Dashing"-Gimmick für mich derzeit einer der interessantesten Charaktere in einer sich zu oft selbst wiederholenden SmackDown-Show. Und das, obwohl er über die letzten Wochen nicht einmal anwesend war."

[7.0] "Ich mag ihn. Ich mag sein Auftreten als arroganter Schönling, ich mag ihn im Ring, ich mag seinen Finisher. Hoffentlich kann er sich noch weiter nach vorne entwickeln"

[8.0] "Hätte nie gedacht das in Rhodes so viel Charisma steckt. Wie konnte er das nur so lange verstecken? Sein momentanes Gimmick passt perfekt zu ihn."

[8.0] "Früher einfach nur langweilig, jetzt bekommt er endlich mal Farbe. Sein Gimmik ist toll und am Mic hat er sich enorm gesteigert. Auch im Ring ist er besser geworden."

[6.0] "Bei ihm ein weiteres Mal das "Miz/Morrison-Phänomen" zu erkennen, sprich die Tatsache, dass nach dem Spilt der eigentlich als schlechter klassifizierte Teil des Teams sich besser entwickelt und weiter kommt als der eigentlich begabtere bzw. "bessere", denn auch hier ist die Weiterentwicklung vergleichbar mit der die bei Miz & Morrison auftrat (zwar nicht auf dem selben Lvl aber vergleichbar) so wird DiBiase hingegen allen Erwartungen ja nahezu scho verjobbt wohin gegen sich Rhodes, der sich unbestritten sehr gut entwickelt hat (mit Gimmick, Micwork usw. ), sich in der Smackdownmidcard gut zu recht findet und durchaus IC-Champ Potenzial hat, zwar sehe ich im Moment noch kein allzu großes ME-Potenial wie vielleicht andere aber das kann ja auch noch werden, immerhin gibt er bereits enen guten Midcardheel ab. Deshalb mit eher steigender Tendenz (vorerst) 6 Punkte für Rhodes."

[9.0] "Mit millionen Jahren Vorsprung der bessere im Team mit DiBiase. Cody Rhodes hat ähnlich wie ein Randy Orton einfach die perfekte Heel-Ausstrahlung. Im Ring zeigt er tolles Old-School-Wrestling. Da hat jemand eine große Zukunft vor sich! Edit: Hat mittlerweile DiBiase auch in Punkto Darstellung eindrucksvoll den Rang abgelaufen. Rhodes ist ein Wrestler, der das allseits bekannte Ravishing-Gimmick nochmal gut aufträgt. Ich hoffe, dass geht mit einem Push einher!"

[7.0] "Den kleinsten Rhodes-Spross sehe ich wirklich gerne und auch sein leicht abgenudeltes "Dashing"-Gimmick sehe ich als Versuch, ihn neu im WWE-Universe zu positionieren. Seine Rolle spielt er gut und ich denke, dass er sich über die Midcard hinaus durchaus in die oberen Ränge vorarbeiten könnte, wenn er am Ball bleibt und den Mut nicht verliert."

[8.0] "06. 11. 08: Hat mir als Face noch besser gefallen, könnte aber nun an der Seite von Randy Orton zu einem guten Heel werden, was mit Priceless nicht so recht klappen wollte. Er müsste sein Overselling aber etwas zurückfahren. -------- 15. 11. 10: Die Legacyzeit ist nun schon länger passé. Wirklich gebracht hat es weder DiBiase noch Rhodes etwas. DiBiase geht (trotz Maryse und $$$-Championship unter) und wer hätte es erwartet: Cody hat ein Gimmick entwickelt, welches wirklich funktioniert. Mittlerweile einer der Midcarder wegen denen ich mir Smackdown anschaue. 8 Punkte"

[2.0] "Nicht viel besser als sein Vater... er hat es leicht gehabt in seine Fußstapfen zu treten. Viel zu langweilig, viel zu wenig Tiefgang."

[10.0] "Gutes Wrestling was dieser Mann zeigt. Am Mic genau so Top. Gimmick verkörpert er Perfekt."

[8.0] "Schwanke zwischen 7 und 8 Punkten. Da er noch großes Entwicklungspotenzial hat, sehe ich jetzt eine sieben, um ihn dann später höher einzustufen :) Finde seine Entwicklung an der Seite von Orton sehr passabel und beeindruckend, wie er sich so langsam aus dessen Schatten heraus zu einem interessanten Charakter entwickelt. Mag ihn besonders in der Kombi mit Ted. Mal schauen was noch so auf uns zukommt. Freu mich auf weitere Matches von ihm und Ted. Auch hier ein UPDATE: Mit seinem Selbstverliebt-Gimmick ist er der Hit, auch seine Tipps einfach nur Sahne. Mal schauen, wie er den Charakter weiterentwickeln kann und was er uns noch so bietet. Im Ring im übrigen seit der Trennung von Orton viel besser, mehr Moves und einfach besser anzuschauen."

[8.0] "Das "Dashing" Gimmick gefällt mir momentan sehr gut und er blüht förmlich darin auf. Nun muss er aber schauen, wie es weitergeht. Aber momentan bei SmackDown sehr gut aufgehoben !"

[7.0] "Endlich hat Cody nach den Jahren, in denen man nicht viel mit ihm azufangen wusste, einen vernünftigen Charakter bekommen, den er auch glaubwürdig rüberbringt. So geht es weiter Bergauf."

[8.0] "Jetzt, wo er ein etwas interessanteres Gimmick bekommen hat und nicht mehr im Schatten von Orton steht, gefällt er mir richtig gut."

[7.0] "06/06/09 - Derzeit noch zu wenig im Fokus, um mich am Mic (trotz signifakantem Sprachfehler) oder im Ring vom Hocker zu reissen - die Tatsache, dass er in das Business 'hineingeboren' wurde, wird storylinetechnisch schon ausreichend unterstützt, es muss sich nicht noch zusätzlich in meiner Wertung widerspiegeln. Charakterentwicklung und Publikumspräsenz lauten hier die Schlüsselworte. 18/08/10 - An ihm ist gut geschliffen worden, er hat in der DX-Fehde an Glaubwürdigkeit gewonnen und bekam da auch die notwendige Ringzeit um zu überzeugen. Sein Finisher ist originell, das neue Gimmick passt und er selbst ist bei SD! derzeit hervorragend aufgehoben, zumal es dort an der Spitze derzeit recht dünn ist, so dass ich für ihn (im Gegensatz zu DiBiase) doch positiv in die Zukunft blicke. 2 Pkt. rauf, weiter so !"

[8.0] "Also so langsam finde ich "Dashing" Cody Rhodes richtig gut. Am Mic ist er stark und im Ring ist er auch nicht schlecht. Es fehlt noch das gewisse etwas aber ich denke er hat eine ordentliche Zukunft vor sich."

[5.0] "Zu seinem WWE-Debüt hätte ich ihm noch großes Potenzial attestiert, aber inzwischen hat sich meine Ansicht geändert. Rhodes ist ebenso langweilig wie ein Großteil des restlichen Kaders und zeigt keine interessante Entwicklung. Auch im Ring ist er nicht gerade beeindruckend."

[7.0] "Endlich hat Cody auch mal ein Gimmick bekommen. Seit er 2007 debütierte war er immer nur der Sidekick von irgendjemandem. Erst von seinem Vater Dusty, dann im Tag Team mit Hardcore Holly, Ted DiBiase und Randy Orton. Er wirkte die ersten Monate in SmackDown noch sehr farblos und war im wesentlichen einfach nur da, aber jetzt mit dem "Dashing"-Gimmick hat er endlich was, was ihn speziell macht und für die Fans als Heel einfacher zu hassen. Die "Dashing"-Rolle passt auch ganz gut zu ihm, er stellt es überraschend gut da, seine Vignettes in SmackDown sind unterhaltsam (unterhaltsamer als die von Alberto Del Rio) und es fühlt sich so an, als habe jemand vom Creative Team ein altes Pretty Boy-Gimmick wiederbelebt. In dieser Form könnte er sich demnächst für einen Singles Titel bewerben. Die In-Ring Qualitäten dazu hat er."

[8.0] "Wird immer besser. Aber sein outfit geht garnicht:D viel zu öde und ohne Knieschoner sieht er g** aus"

[8.0] "Finde ihn eigentlich voll cool. Er hat die Moves, er ist nicht ungeschickt am Mic und er hat das Charisma. Punktabzug für das G**-Outfit."

[7.0] "Gefällt mir nicht schlecht. Schon zu Legacy-Anfangszeiten fand ich ihn klasse, danach kam eine Phase, in der er mich langweilte, aber sein neues Dashing-Gimmick hat irgendwas, damit ist er momentan sogar einer der wenigen Gründe für mich, noch Smackdown zu schauen. Ich bin gespannt wie es mit ihm weitergeht, er ist ja noch sehr jung und wenn WWE es nicht vermasselt, kann aus ihm einiges werden."

[7.0] ""DASHING"... Ja, mir gefällt sein neues Gimmick als "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Hat was. Spiegel-Effekt beim Entrance genial - wieder mal eine super-idee der WWE. Charisma und In-Ring-Talent sind da. Sein Outfit müsste aber DRINGEND angepasst werden, viel zu langweilig und ohne Knieschoner siehts einfach bescheuert aus."

[7.0] "Ich muß sagen das selbstverliebte steht ihm. Er überzeugt damit ganz gut. Auch wenn gewisse Paralellen von " Dashing" zu "Ravishing" nicht ganz abzustreiten sind. Aber egal, was zählt ist das Ergebnis und das kann sich sehen lassen. In 2-3 Jahren ist er an der Spitze angekommen alles andere wäre unnötig und unglaubwürdig."

[7.0] "Am Anfang gefiel mir Cody noch nicht besonders als er die TT Titel mit Ted halten durfte. Dann war Er meisten nur ein Jobber oder für einen Sqaush zu gebrauchen aber jetzt im Moment gefällt Er mir mit seinem neuen Gimmick sehr gut. Im Ring hat ER noch viel Potenzial nach oben und am Mic durchaus solide. Gefällt mir gut und villeicht in ein paar Wochen noch eine leichte Korrektur nach oben aber im momentan gibt es gute 7 Punkte von mir."

[8.0] "Dashing! Das klingt doch nach was. Aber dazu braucht er auch was anderes als diese alte Ringerwindel. :) Ansonsten gefällt er mir mit seinem Dashing! Gimmick sehr gut."

[8.0] "Grosse Entwicklung seit 2008. Dashin Cody Rhodes, ein gutes Gimmick. Seit er bei Smackdown auch mehr zeigen darf als Single Wrestler ist er mir im Ring auch ziemlich gut aufgefallen! Man sollte ihn mal in Richtung Intercontinental Championship pushen, dann kann er sich als Champion behaupten und neue Erfahrung sammeln."

[8.0] "Cody Rhodes ist im Ring kein schlechter und auch am Mic ziemlich gut. Aber um ein wirklicher Top-Star in der WWE zu werden fehlt ihm so ein bisschen das gewisse etwas."

[8.0] "Ein sehr guter Athlet, der mit der "LEGACY" schon sehr viel an Erfahrung sammeln durfte. Jetzt wird er uns bei SD! sicherlich beweisen, warum er sich den Nickname "Dashing" verdient hat. Ihm fehlt nur noch der "richtige" Push. Bei ihm handelt es sich auch bald um wahres IC-Material."

[7.0] "Hmm jetzt hat er also zum ersten Mal ein richtiges Gimmick was er recht gut rüberbringt. Jedoch: Erstmal abwarten! Bisher jedoch stark in der Rolle des "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Am Mic zweifellos talentiert und auch im Ring einigermaßend überzeugend."

[7.0] "Cody kann alleine denke ich mal schon was reißen, muss jedoch noch etwas Trainieren und gepusht werden um wirklich ein großer zu werden"

[8.0] "Hielt ihn lange für stink normal, doch dann hab ich das Match gegen Christian gesehen... und war begeistert... aber für 10 Punkte reichts noch nicht!"

[7.0] "Schade, dass er immer nur mit Ted verglichen wird. abgesehen von etwas weniger Masse sehe ich die beiden absolut auf Augenhöhe! Cody wird seinen Weg machen!"

[7.0] "Gefällt mir einzeln überaus gut. Hatte mir leztens Matches noch im Team mit Hardcore Holly angeschaut. Ich muss sagen, hat auf jeden Fall ne gute Entwicklung hinter sich. Sein Wrestlingstil gefällt mir gut und er hatte jetzt in der kurzen Zeit, wo er bei Smackdown ist schon min. 3 gute Matches, die mich gut unterhalten haben. Hoffe er wird weiterhin in der Intercontinentalriege ein Wörtchen mit zu reden haben."

[6.0] "Besser als Ted. Sowohl am Mic als auch im Ring. Das letzte Match gegen Christian bei Smackdown hat das wohl bewiesen. Wirkt jedoch sehr schlaksig, und bei der WWE ist der Körperbau nunmal sehr wichtig. Ich weiss noch, wie ich ihn das erste Mal gesehen habe, das war bei der Hall-Of-Fame-Rede bei der Aufnahme seines Vaters. Da hat er eine "Promo" gehalten, an die er aber bis heute nicht mehr rangekommen ist. Ich glaube, in dieser Richtung ist noch einiges an Luft nach oben."

[8.0] "Gefällt mir besser als Dibiase wird aber wahrscheinlich nie ins Main Event vorstoßen. Schade eigentlich trotzdem 8 Punkte."

[7.0] "Chody Rhodes gefällt mir in letzter Zeit immer besser. Im Ring hat er was drauf und am Mic gibt es auch wesentlich schlechtere. Was seinen Körperlich macht er sich auch immer mehr. Mittlerweile steht er fast auf der selben Stufe wie Ted, daher auch die Aufwertung von 6 auf 7 Punkte. Hat das Zeug zum Upper-Midcarder."

[8.0] "Im Moment für mich weiter als sein ehemaliger Legacy Partner. Wrestlerisch zeigt er gerade bei Smackdown, dass er ein Top Mann ist. Ich finde er hat mitlerweile auch einen sehr ausgereiften Charakter und ist ein durchaus guter Mic Worker. Natürlich wird es Rhodes, auf Grund seiner Statur, schwer haben in WWE Mainevent Regionen vorzudringen, aber über den Umweg IC Title kann er 3, 4 Jahren vielleicht doch bei den großen Jungs mitspielen."

[7.0] "Wenn er nun bei Smackdown gut eingesetzt wird, einige Fehden bekommt und eventuell den Intercontinental Titel gewinnen kann, sieht seine Zukunft sicher gut aus. Im Ring mittlerweile im Ring richtig gut, außerdem entwickelt sich siene Persönlichkeit zusehends."

[7.0] "Ich mag den guten Cody. Gerade in seiner OVW Zeit war er sehr genial. Ich hoffe das der nun bei SD auch öfter mal ans Mic darf, dort hat er auf jeden Fall die Begabung seines Vaters und seines Bruders geeerbt. Auch im Ring kann er so einiges was jetzt hoffentlich öfter durchblitzen wird. Ich freue mich auf eine hoffentlich gute Zeit von ihm beim blauen Brand."

[8.0] "Finde ihn mittlerweile ziemlich gut. Am Mic überzeugt er mich und auch vor allem im Ring. Allerdings befürchte ich, das sein Körperbau ihm zum Verhängnis werden könnte. Man kann nur hoffen, dass er eine Chance bekommt auch einmal in die höchsten Regionen der Card zu kommen. Das Zeug zum Main Eventer hat er denke ich, wenn man ihm die Möglichkeit gibt."

[7.0] "Wird häufig unterschätzt, besitzt aber ein sehr variables Moveset und kann am Mic ordentliche Promos halten. Muss noch an seinen schauspielerischen Fähigkeiten arbeiten, denn er wirkt in manchen Dingen einfach zu theatralisch."

[6.0] "Für mich ist Cody ein richtig guter. Absolut talentiert der Mann und hat mehr Charisma als Ted, das wusste ich von Beginn an. Aber Ted ist mMn trotzdem der bessere, besser im Ring, stärker ausgeprägter Körperbau und damit auch glaubwürdiger. Trotzdem Rhodes ist einer von denen, denen die Zukunft gehört."

[6.0] "Muss in unheimlich große Fußstapfen treten. Und ich denke, dass er hierbei scheitern wird. Hat natürlich einiges an In Ring Fähigkeiten, muss allerdings noch ein wenig am Mikwork trainieren und an Profil gewinnen und mal abgesehen von seinem Charisma könne er es wenn er sein bestes gibt in den nächsten Jahren ein Top Star werden. In meinen Augen wie bei den meisten der schwächere Part der Legacy, aber mal sehen wie es in ein paar Jahren aussieht. Hat einen großen Namen und für ihn wird es schwierig in die Fußstapfen des Vaters Dusty zu treten."

[7.0] "Er hat zweifellos Talent doch so langsam muss der Durchbruch kommen vielleicht sollte er dazu die Legacy verlassen und aus dem Schatten von Orton hervorkommen."

[4.0] "Cody Rhodes ist sehr uncharismatisch und wird zurecht oft als das schwache Glied der Legacy bezeichnet! Im RIng zwar ok und auch am Mic aber vom Gesamtpaket her gehört er halt einfach in die Undercard!"

[5.0] "Wirkt für mich die ganze Zeit über relativ farb- und charakterlos, ohne besonders hervorzustechen. Hatte sicherlich auch drunter zu leiden, das die gesamte Legacy zeitweise äußerst schwach dargestellt wurde."

[7.0] "Rhodes hat einiges drauf, doch sein Sprachfehler drückt seine Leistungen runter. Im Ring finde ich vorallem seinen Moonsault beeindruckend, doch wie gesagt sollte er am Mikro noch einiges lernen. Der Legacy Split ist eingeleitet und alleine er steht noch in der Mitte, also hoffe ich dass ihn noch diese Fehde genug over bringen wird, um danach sicher in der Midcard zu stehen. Falls er sich gut weiterentwickelt, steht einem Uppercard, oder sogar Main Event Run, nichts im Weg!"

[8.0] "Hat sich enorm in der letzten Zeit weiterentwickelt, guter Wrestler und mittlerweile auch sehr charismatisch und gut am Mic"

[7.0] "Bei Rhodes seh ich es ähnlich wie bei seinem Partner, das Talent ist zweifellos vorhanden was fehlt ist der Breakout Moment. Sehe übrigens keine gravierenden Untschiede zwischen ihm und DiBiase, für mich sind beide auf einem Level."

[8.0] "In meinen Augen besitzt Cody Rhodes mehr Talent als Ted Dibiase Junior. Im Ring ist er kein schlechter und in Sachen Promos kommt auch schon sehr nah an seinen Halbbruder und seinen Vater heran."

[3.0] "Ich glaub das er nie Einzeln wirklich voran kommen würde."

[6.0] "Cody wird viele noch überraschen, die ihn bereits jetzt und für den Rest seiner Laufbahn in der Midcard sehen wollen. Er könnte noch gewaltige Sprünge machen, die fehlende Präsenz am Mikro und im Ring legen sich vielleicht mit der Zeit noch, dies wäre allerdings die Grundvorausetzung."

[8.0] "Macht sich eigentlich recht gut! Hat technisch einiges drauf, weiß am Mikro halbwegs zu überzeugen und hat die richtige Statur für einen Worker! Ihm fehlt nur noch ein wenig Erfahrung bzw. muss man sich noch an ihn gewöhnen... hat meiner Meinung nach aber eine große Zukunft vor sich!"

[8.0] "Guter Junger Wrestler. An der seite Ortons entwickelt er sich prima."

[7.0] "Cody hat sich in letzter Zeit wirklich unglaublich gut entwickelt. Die Fehde mit DX hat ihm gut getan und er gefällt mir sogar besser als sein Partner. Sowohl am Mic, als auch im Ring. Ich würde einen Push von Rhodes wirklich lieber sehen, als einen von Ted."

[4.0] "Ein durchschnittswrestler mit wenig Mic Skills. Deshalb bekommt er von mir nur 4 Punkte, weil es deutlich bessere gibt und er für seine geringen Fähigkeiten leider zu hoch in er Liga steht."

[4.0] "Rhodes ist OK, aber am Mic Work muss er noch arbeiten, der gefällt mir bisher nicht sonderlich"

[6.0] "Ich halte die beiden Jungs von der Legacy momentan für gleich auf. Am Anfang kam mir Ted deutlich besser vor, aber im Ring ist Cody doch mittlerweile abwechslungreicher, wie ich finde und kann immerhin einen schönen Moonsault ausführen. Am Mic sollte er dagegen noch sehr an sich arbeiten."

[10.0] "Sehr unterbewertet. Ich sehe mehr potenzial in im als im Ted Dibiase."

[6.0] "Hmm, noch ein schwerer Fall. Rhodes hat seit seinem Debüt mächtig an Charisma gewonnen und hatte durch die Storyline mit Randy Orton natürlich auch einen riesigen Push bekommen. Jedoch reicht all dies nicht um von seinen Schwächen abzulenken. Man merkt regelrecht wie angespannt Rhodes bei den Promos ist. Doch ich möchte ihn jetzt nicht nieder machen, sondern ihn mehr loben. Seit seiner Zeit mit Orton hat er sich mächtig gebessert und hat best. auch ein paar Tricks von Orton gelernt ;)"

[8.0] "Ich mag ihn lieber als seinen Partner. Beide bekommen durch die DX Storyline gerade mehr Zeit sich in den Shows zu entwickeln und das abseits von Randy Orton."

[7.0] "Cody Rhodes ist inzwischen einfach toll wenngleich er neben DiBiase blass aussieht"

[6.0] "Talent hat er, die nächsten Jahre werden sicher die Weichen stellen. Wenn er klug ist, lernt er aus den Fehlern eines Randy Ortons."

[8.0] "Er hat sehr viel Talent, hat sich nur leider noch nicht ganz so gut entwickelt wie sein Partner DiBiase"

[2.0] "In der Legacy ein Fehlschlag. Das Stabel hat ihm nicht wirklich geholfen. Ist nicht mehr als ein Jobber mit bekannten Namen."

[6.0] "Schaut neben Ted DiBiase ein bisschen klein und farblos aus. Zum einen liegt das halt an der schnelleren Entwicklung DiBiases, zum anderen aber auch daran, dass dieser einfach mit noch mehr Begabung gesegnet ist. Deshalb sollte man Cody jetzt nicht unbedingt einen Vorwurf machen. Klar ist außerdem, er hat das Wrestling auch im Blut und kann mit der Zeit auch noch zu einem Star werden. Da er erst 24 ist hat er dafür ja auch noch jede Menge Zeit. Das wird noch!"

[4.0] "Er ist kein guter Wrestler, besitzt keine Ausstrahlung und ist für WWE viel zu dünn. Er wird nie ein Star da er nur durch seinen Namen bei WWE ist und nicht die Masse mitbringt und am Mic ist da auch nicht viel."

[6.0] "Das Talent im Ring ist nicht zu übersehen, aber solange ihn die WWE nicht von der Orton-Kette lässt, bleibt zumindest mir den Beweis seiner Großartigkeit schuldig."

[5.0] "Durchschnitts-Wrestler, der nur dank seines bekannten Vaters in die WWE gekommen ist"

[4.0] "Sehr, sehr langweilig ob im Ring oder außerhalb. Die Legacy hat momentan weder Hand noch Fuß, und genauso seh ich das bei ihm auch. Overrated und nur aufgrund seines Namen da, wo er derzeit steht."

[4.0] "In der jetzigen Rolle gefällt er mir gar nicht, aber In-Ring-Leistung ist auf jeden Fall vorhanden. Man kann abwarten, ob mal was besseres mit ihm passiert als Ortons Handlager in der Lega(y)cy."

[7.0] "Als Heel im Grunde gut, leider muss er momentan noch viel zu oft den Prügelknaben für beispielweise HHH spielen. Aber das kann sich ja noch ändern, das Potential um ganz nach oben zu kommen ist zweifelsohne nach wie vor vorhanden und mit dem Legacy Stable sind auch die richtigen Ansätze gemacht worden."

[6.0] "Talentierter junger Nachwuchswrestler, dem aber irgendwie noch ein Funken mehr Charisma fehlt. Im Moment ist er an der Seit Randy Ortons perfekt aufgehoben. So könnte er zumindest ein guter Midcard-Wrestler werden."

[10.0] "Junges Talent aber wenn er nicht bald etwas an seinem Charisma tut wird Vince ihn in der Midcard versinken lassen. Er hat alles um ein Star zuwerden ausser das Charisma was er als Face braucht er würde sicher ein um einiges besseren Heel abgeben. Turn gegen Holly-Raus aus der TT Division und ab zum IC. Denn wen er weiter mit Mister. No Charisma in der TT Division rumhängt wird er es nie ein gutes Match hin kriegen können da es nich genug TTŽs giebt ."

[7.0] "Ist auf dem besten Weg, ob er als Superstar was taugt, wird sich dann zeigen."

[8.0] "Ich werte mal um zwei Punkte auf, weil Cody mir in allen Bereichen immer besser gefällt. Er gewinnt von sekunde zu sekunde an Charisma, neben Orton. Am Mic und im Ring ist er auch Okay, Cody kann in ein paar Jahren oben in der Card stehen."

[8.0] "Dank Ted DiBiase, Manu und Randy Orton endlich ein Charakter. Er hat vielleicht noch keine Ausstrahlung, die man von einem Champion erwartet, doch das hatten viele andere in seinem Alter auch nicht. Ganz im Gegenteil sogar: Cody Rhodes ist für seine 23 Jahre unglaublich weit und könnte in den nächsten zwei Jahren zu einem Topdraw der WWE mutieren. Neben seinen Defiziten in puncto Ausstrahlung muss er noch ein wenig an seine In-Ring-Abilty feilen, denn insbesondere bei längeren Matches wurden seine Mängel doch schon deutlich."

[7.0] "Zunächst überzeugte er nicht, ich kann mich auch heute noch nicht wirklich mit ihm anfreunden, was aber nicht an seinem Können liegt. Irgendwie mag ich ihn nicht (vll ist das auch gerade gut so bei einem Heel ;) ). Hat sich sehr stark entwickelt in den letzten Wochen und zeigt was er wirklich kann, nachdem er zunächst von diBiase überstrahlt wurde. Das fehlen von diBiase tut ihm gut, da er mehr auffällt."

[8.0] "Ist ein talentierter Wrestler und mir gefällt er sehr gut in der Legacy."

[8.0] "Hat sich in der doch immer noch recht kurzen Zeit seit seinem Debüt konsequent gesteigert."

[6.0] "Ich muss meine Wertung nun doch mal nach oben korrigieren, denn als Heel gefällt er mir nun um Welten besser, als in seiner farblosen Face Zeit."

[6.0] "Wird neben DiBiase immer besser und es macht langsam sogar etwas Spaß sich eines seiner Matches anzugucken. Ist auch natürlich noch sehr Jung, das heißt, er kann noch richtig gut werden, wenn die WWE ihn wieder richtig ins Titelrennen bringt."

[6.0] "Gefällt mir in allen belangen um einiges besser als seine Männliche Wrestling-Verwandtschaft. Hat potential, ist aber noch ausbaufähig."

[8.0] "Auch wenn nicht alles Gold wird was er anfasst wie bei seinem Vater wird er zunächst mit Ted DiBiase und danach selbst seinen Weg in der WWE gehen. Mindestens ein kommender Intercontinental Champion!"

[5.0] "Hat durchaus Talent und als Team mit DiBiase durchaus unterhaltsam."

[7.0] "Großes Talent und als Heel sehr gut. Als Face eher nicht zu gebrauchen. Macht bestimmt seinen Weg."

[5.0] "Mir gefällt er nicht besonders. Er muss noch viel dazulernen. Eine etwas muskulösere Statur wäre auch nicht schlecht."

[7.0] "Als Face farblos, nun als Heel mit DiBiase klasse! Ihnen fehlt aber aus meiner Sicht noch ein richtig gutes Match, um sich endgültig zu etablieren! Das Potenzial dazu haben die beiden!"

[6.0] "Kann mich als junger aufstrebener Heel einigermaßen überzeugen. Aber noch lange nicht perfekt. Wrestlerisch ok, kein großes Charisma und mäßiges Mic Work."

[5.0] "gefällt mir im Ring ganz gut, aber die Austrahlung... naja... Also es tut mir leid aber gegen diBiase schmiert er ab. Im Ring gut, der Rest eher mager, obwohl mir 'Priceless' sehr gut gefällt. Es wird doch eher von diBiase getragen, zumindest was die Austrahlung betrifft."

[4.0] "Charismatisch wie ein Baumstamm. Im Ring vielleicht nicht ganz so schlecht aber einfach farblos."

[6.0] "Ich denke und hoffe dass er noch den Durchbruch schaffen wird. Als Heel wirkt er viel interessanter. Als Babyface war er doch ziemlich blass und langweilig. Er hat ja schon in Ansätzen angedeutet was er am Mic kann. Und wrestlerisch ist er auch nicht schlecht. Nur sollte er etwas mehr Muskelmasse aufbauen um ein Großer zu werden."

[3.0] "Wirkt auf mich wie jemand der es nur bis dahin gebracht hat, weil er einen bekannten Vater hat. Cody hat für mich kein Charisma und auch sonst ziemlich uninteressant. Vielleicht entwickelt er sich ja noch..."

[6.0] "Wirkte bisher arg farblos als Face im Team mit Hardcore Holly und hat mich nur gelangweilt, weil er praktisch kein Gimmick hatte. Er war einfach irgendjemand, der zum Ring gekommen ist und mit Holly zusammen Matches als Champion bestritten hat, seine Fähigkeiten am Mic konnte Rhodes dabei kaum ausspielen. Jetzt als Heel gefällt er mir besser, auch wenn er noch an Mimik und Gestik arbeiten könnte, denn das ist zur Zeit das Einzige, was ihm im Vergleich zu Ted Dibiase Jr. noch fehlt."

[8.0] "Von der Technik her, sehr gut ausgebildet, doch es fehlt ihm an der Fähigkeit das Match zu leiten... Daran muss er arbeiten... Im Tag Team mit Hardcore Holly hat er viel gelernt und jetzt mit DiBiase Jr. haben wir mal wieder ein sehr gutes Tag Team, mit sehr viel Potenzial. Würde mich freuen, wenn die WWE das Next Generation Stable starten würde zusammen mit Orton und vielleicht noch Carlito, aber das wird ja nichts nach dem Draft..."

[7.0] "Ganz ordentlicher Newcomer, der sich auch gut entwickelt. Aber natürlich ist noch Luft nach oben."

[5.0] "Sicher, er ist talentiert. Sicher, in den 80ern hätte er ein Super Face abgegeben. Aber in Zeiten von Sports Entertainment zieht dieser Mann zurecht absolut NULL Reaktionen beim Publikum. Schon lange nichts so Farbloses mehr gesehen! EDIT: Note um einen Punkt hoch geschraubt, da er anscheinend doch ganz annehmbares Micwork besitzt."

[3.0] "Ich bezweifel gar nicht, dass er Talent hat, aber ohne Ausstrahlung wird ihm das auch nichts nützen... Da hat sogar Khali mehr Charisma... ^^"

[4.0] "Ich weiss nicht was ich von ihm halten soll. Im Moment ist er für mich total egal und auch langweilig. Das kann sich aber ändern. Mein Bauchgefühl sagt mir er könnte richtig gut werden. Muss aber nicht."

[6.0] "Gute Gene machen noch keinen guten Wrestler. Bezogen auf sein Alter kann und muss er noch viel lernen - andere hingegen waren Anfang 20 schon weitaus weiter. Aber es ist ja nicht so, dass er keine Zeit mehr hätte. Die WWE sollte ihn langsam aufbauen - Voraussetzungen hat er ja."

[8.0] "In fünf Jahren ist er WWE-Champion. Hoff ich. Endlich mal wieder ein cooler Old-shool Wrestler! Ich will den Monster-Push für ihn in ein-zwei Jahren."

[4.0] "Ich konnte mit noch keinem der Rhodes Familie was anfangen. Cody ist da noch der beste , aber da ist noch viiiel Luft nach oben."

[8.0] "Der Junge gefällt mir! Erst ein Jahr dabei und trotzdem schon reichlich Erfahrung in Sachen Skills. Sicher hat Papa Dusty und Bruder Dustin ihm da schon früher einiges beigebracht =). Bin jedenfalls gespannt, wie sich das mit ihm entwickelt. Wenn aber nichts schief geht, ist er auf dem Besten Weg zum Main Eventer!"

[6.0] "Hat ja noch seine Zeit vor sich und wird dennoch schon von jedem registriert! ^^Spricht nur für ihn!"

[6.0] "Daraus könnte durchaus was großartiges werden. Noch sehr jung und dennoch schon ziemlich gut am Mic und im Ring. Ich bin gespannt, wo sein Weg enden wird."

[8.0] "sehr viel potential. Er ist grade mal 22Jahre alt, könnte wie Randy Orton auch zum TopStar werden."

[6.0] "Als Heel würde er mir besser gefallen, kann sich noch steigern, genau wie meine Note."

[2.0] "Da muss noch einiges Kommen um in die Fussstapfen seines Vaters treten zu können. Bis jetzt fehlt ihm jede Spur von Charisma und im Ring konnte er bisher höchstens durchschnittliche Leistungen erbringen. Jedoch ist er noch jung und kann sich bestimmt noch verbessern. Der Tag Team Titel kommt allerdings zu früh."

[4.0] "Bisher nur ein ausreichend für Cody: Alles was er zeigen kann, hat irgendwie Hand und Fuß, hat aber auch noch viel Luft nach oben. Ich bin mir allerdings nicht sicher: 1. Entweder wird Cody einfach behutsam aufgebaut (wenn man bei dem Gewinn des Tag-Team-Titles noch von behutsam reden kann) oder aber 2. er ist nicht das Talent, für das ihn alle halten. Aber er ist noch Jung, da kann eniges passieren."

[6.0] "Sehr ähnlich zu Harry Smith! Sein Vater ist ebenfalls eine absolute Legende und er möchte nun in dessen Fußstapfen treten! Die Anlagen und das Potenzial hat er, warten wir ab, ob er den hohen Anforderungen gerecht werden wird!"

[6.0] "Im Ring durchaus ein guter Mann aber er ist zu farblos. Bei den Fans hat er wegen seinem Vater natürlich Vorteile aber bis jetzt immer nur halbherzig und in halbfertigen Storys eingesetzt. Bin gespannt was mir von ihm erwarten können vor allem da Dusty ja auch Booker ist."

[6.0] "Talent was wegen der Familen Vergangenheiit mal direkt nen stärkeren Push bekommt als andere. Mehr als ein Talent ist er aber bislang nicht."

[6.0] "Weiss noch nicht wie ich ihn einschätzen soll, aber er ist noch jung und könnte sich entwickeln."

[6.0] "Jung & Talentiert gar keine Frage, aber Cody konnte mich bis jetzt noch nicht so recht überzeugen!"

[2.0] "Viel zu grün hinter den Ohren, sollte sich am Besten mal 2 oder 3 Jahre durch den Indy Bereich kämpfen. Aus dem wird nichts!"

[6.0] "Bei der Familie hat man ihm einiges mit auf den Weg geben können, und er entwickelt sich bereits sehr schnell. Wird wohl die Fußstapfen des Vaters ausfüllen können, wenn er die Zeit zum Reifen bekommt."

[4.0] "Das er dank seinem Vater bei RAW auftreten durfte sollte ihm klar sein. Sein Wrestling ist nicht übel und er kann das was ich "Real Live Scene" spielen. In Segmenten. Das kann ein Hogan nunmal nicht so eine echte Situation spielen. Er hat definitiv eine Menge an potenzial aber muss an sich arbeiten und nicht abheben dan wirds auch. Ich geb mal 4 Punkte mit Luft nach oben."

[6.0] "Schon sehr weit dafür, dass er erst ein Jahr lang dabei ist. Was ich bisher von ihm im Ring gesehen hat war ordentlich und Charisma ist vorhanden. Vielleicht ein zukünftiger Superstar."

[6.0] "Er steht erst am Anfang seiner Karriere und ist dafür schon ganz schön weit. Im Ring sowie am Mikro weiß es zu gefallen, was deutlich zeigt, welch Potenzial in diesem Jungen steckt. Wenn alles normal verläuft, dann wird Cody ein großer Superstar. Schauen wir, was die Zukunft bringt."
