There's no reason for this, it just makes him look bad when, in reality, he's only an average worker who would be best suited to be a heel."
[9.0] "Cinta de Oro, he is one of the most underrated wrestlers, and even at 40 he still has the same technique as when he was young. Cinta de Oro has the necessary technique and speed, plus his spots are very good and his celling is very credible. a very underrated wrestler."
[5.0] "A DECENT tag worker but was always the second best guy in the duo (apart from his very short lived tag team as Hunico but I try to forget that) and even with the physical talent of guys like Kalisto he always seemed effy. The Sin Cara gimmick was always cursed and the attempts to revive it with a more consistent but still middling wrestler really didn't do many favours. He can't emote with a mask on (or really off either) and his promos are next to impossible to understand let alone be believable. That being said he's a ok hand and can put on some relatively strong bouts when he's with someone who can carry him to a good match (his bouts with Andrade, for reference) but you could say that for a lot of guys who weren't particularly solid in ring. One extra point for his amazing spot performance at Wrestlemania 32."
[2.0] "Bad worker, real wrestlers don't stop a match over a broken finger and they don't botch over and over and over, he's known more for his botches and quiting matches than anything else, he was way overhyped and failed to live up to any expectations"
[4.0] "This character should have died with the original Sin Cara & they should not have recast it. The character was damaged goods. It was not worth saving. Hunico has moments of intrigue in the ring, but it's mostly overshadowed by the bum character. The fact that his face is so obscured is also a problem. With successful masked wrestlers, you can still see some of the face so the audience can read some emotion. Sin Cara does not have the luxury. Sin Cara was probably best as a member of the Lucha Dragons, but at this point, that feels lightyears in the past."
[6.0] "I kinda liked Mistico Sin Cara, and I kinda liked the gimmick with Black Sin Cara. Now, all that doesn't matter. What matters is Mistico Sin Cara is one of the worst versions. He could've stayed in the WWE if he didn't injure his poor little finger. Hunico is a much better Sin Cara and I hope he gets more opportunities to be a champion on either 205 Live or maybe a singles run on SmackDown Live."

Schade eigentlich, denn vor allem sein Hunico Run 2011/2012 als mexikanischer Gangster hatte aus meiner Sicht sehr viel Potenzial und hätte ein Guerrero Light sein können. Auch im Ring nie wirklich die Cahnce gehabt zu zeigen, was er wirklich drauf hat, denn das was man in Tag Matches und in der Singles Action von ihm gesehen hat war eigentlich immer stark."
[5.0] "Sein erster Run als Hunico war schon nicht von Erfolg gerkönt, aber nun als Sin Cara dient er gefühlt nur noch er Unterhaltung von Kindern bei Live Events. Wird der Crusierweight-Division ferngehalten, obwohl er prädestiniert dafür scheint und hat auch ansonsten keine relevante Story zu verbuchen. Das Gimmick füllt er mit wenig Leben, im Ring gibt es viel zu selten gute Momente und oft fühlt es sich einfach unrund an, was man da so sieht. Das ist in Teilen alles nicht seine Schuld, aber überzeugt hat er auch mit seinem Sin Cara-Rund einfach nicht. Potential wäre da, aber so ist er im Kern einfach nur langweilig und seine Ausstrahlung passt nicht zur Maske."
[2.0] "He's gotten better, but Hunico/Sin Cara has always been a failure to me. He can put on a decent match, but I never find myself wanting to watch him wrestle in fear of him screwing up. Also his promos are unbearable since its muffled under his mask. The sooner this character gets off our screens the better"
[7.0] "Sin Cara is highly underrated when it comes to his in ring work, I have been impressed with his charisma and presence, and above all else he can do a good job of putting other workers over. A good solid veteran."
[6.0] "The second Sin Cara has certainly had fewer troubles adjusting to WWE than the first. He has good agility and an impressive arsenal of moves, and while he does botch a fair amount, it's nothing compared to his predecessor. Sin Cara is also a better power wrestler than people give him credit for; he definitely fills his role as the more grounded member of the Lucha Dragons while Kalisto sticks to his acrobatics. That said, he's not terribly charismatic, and he still gets sloppy with enough frequency to be noticeable. Even behind a mask, it's more than possible to project a personality -- ask anyone in Lucha Underground or AAA. Sadly, that just isn't Sin Cara's forte."
[7.0] "I really liked both the Hunico and Sin Cara gimmicks. This version of Sin Cara is a whole lot better. He can botch a little here and their but overall he is really good. He has amazing acrobatic skills and is actually pretty strong. He needs to reform the Lucha Dragons but for now hopefully he will have a good singles carrier."
[4.0] "Auf jeden Fall der bessere Sin Cara, dennoch schwächer als Mystico. Klingt komisch, ist aber so. Im Sin Cara Gimmick geht er besser auf und überzeugt auch mehr als als Hunico. Im Team mit Kalisto dazu gut, jedoch wie SuplexCity bereits schrieb als Singles Wrestler aktuell in der WWE nicht zu gebrauchen. Im Ring dennoch sehr solide (7/10), Ausstrahlung ist nicht ganz ausreichend (3/10), Charisma ebenso nicht (3/10). Insgesamt sind das 4, 33 von 10 Punkten - "ausreichend"."

Bei Wrestlemania 2016 zum Beispiel waren so einige richtig gute Spots mit bei, wo es wirklich Spaß gemacht hat, zuzuschauen. Sollte unter der WWE mal wieder mehr gezeigt und unterstützt werden. [6.0] "Hunico passt vom Stil her mehr zur WWE als der alte Sin Cara macht allerdings immer wieder mit Botches auf sich aufmerksam. Die Lucha Dragons sind hauptsächlich wegen Kalisto so gehyped. Allerdings ist er trotzdem ein solider Wrestler der immerhin eine 6 verdient, auch wenn er nicht der beste Highflyer ist."
[6.0] "Hunico ist eindeutig der bessere Sin Cara. Musste er sich als böser Sin Cara noch dem Original geschlagen geben ist er nun der einzige Sin Cara und spielt diese Rolle super. Er selbst ist ein solider Wrestler, der sich dieses Gimmick zu eigenen gemacht hat und damit nicht nur sich selbst sondern auch Kalisto gut weiterhelfen kann."

Meiner Meinung nach sollte man wieder das Hunico Gimmick aufgreifen, denn damit würde er besser fahren als als Sin cara. Im Ring sicher nicht schlecht, aber habe ihn nicht oft am Mic gesehen."

Ich weiß, dass es eine Geschichte dahinter gibt, die Hunico in irgendeinerweise legitimiert als Sin Cara herumzurennen, aber ich finde es trotzdem unter aller Kanone unkommuniziert Leute durchzuwechseln. Technisch sauberer Wrestler, mehr gutes kann ich nicht über ihn sagen."
[6.0] "Egal ob als Sin Cara oder Hunico er wird nie die Position des Jobbers heraus kommen. Man muss aber sagen er hat die Anlagen, um zumindestens einen Midcard Highflyer aus ihm zu machen, aber auch dass wird die WWE nicht machen. Im Tag Team mit Camacho fand ich ihn eigentlich am besten."

[6.0] "Ein weiteres verschenktes Talent. Im Ring wirklich gut anzusehen, finde ihn weit besser als Sin Cara. Das neue Gimmick nach der Cara-Geschichte war dann natürlich komplett generic und langweilig. So schafft man es, ihn absolut farblos darzustellen. Am Mikro muss er natürlich auch den "ganz normalen Mexikaner" geben, daher schwer zu bewerten. Wäre jemand für eine Cruiserweight Division, die nie mehr zu Stande kommen wird. Eigentlich echt schade."

He has definitely proven that in FCW throughout 2010 winning tag titles with Epico and especially 2011 when he had that 5-star caliber match with Seth Rollins to see who would be the first FCW 15 champion! That match was off the charts and one of the best matches in FCW history by far! That match was what instantly made me think, "This guy deserves to be on the WWE roster and to have gold around his waist in WWE, whatever title he wins! " At first, I thought he was way better as a babyface then a heel because when he started being a heel in FCW last year, he began to work so slow and his matches weren't too good because of it and the same thing goes for when he was Sin Cara Negro too. But now that he's unmasked, he's gotten back on track and has been working very well in the ring ever since! I love the position he's in right now coming out on the lowrider bicycle with Camacho! Even though I think Camacho is mediocre at best, it doesn't matter because Hunico is doing well right now with or without him! I loved his little feud he had with Ted DiBiase for a while as well! They had pretty good matches on Smackdown and it seemed like both of their in-ring styles gelled very well together in the ring and they had good chemisty too! I hope that eventually somewhere down the line, Hunico will at least hold a mid-card title soon cause he truly deserves WWE gold around his waist!"

Ein gutes Gesamtpaket mit Manager in Camacho - ich hoffe es geht bald aufwärts, verdient und das potenzial hat er auf jeden Fall!"
[8.0] "Er gab ehrlich gesagt einen besseren Sin Cara ab als der ursprünglich dafür vorgesehene. Denn er ist nicht nur beweglich sondern auch kraftvoll. Wenn er nur früher da gewesen wäre und man ihn entsprechend gut eingesetzt hätte, wäre er sicherlich ein weiterer Worker ala Rey Mysterio geworden."
[7.0] "Naja, "Böser Doppelgänger" von Sin Cara ist schon etwas weit hergeholt. Er wirkt vielmehr wie dessen kräftiger Cousin. Dennoch finde ich die Storyline nicht schlecht, der ehemalige Hunico ist auch recht talentiert und der "Original" Sin Cara kann davon nur profitieren. Ob allerdings beide später noch in der WWE sein werden, bezweifle ich etwas."
