[3.0] "Such a generic wrestler. From his days with Zack Ryder as The Major Brothers in WWE you could tell he was never going to really amount to anything special. He seems like a really nice guy though, from his YouTube videos and whatnot he's obviously a big wrestling fan and seems to be very friendly. But yeah, not a great wrestler and his look isn't great. In-ring is just very average, will forever be a jobber and I personally could not take him seriously as a champion or anything other than a jobber. Might be because WWE slapped that onto him, but yeah... can't really rate him anything other than a 3."
[8.0] "Brian Meyers is a very good wrestler and is a prime example of it isn't always greener in WWE. He has thrived on The Independent circuit and TNA where he's part of the system and he had a very good run as a digital media champion he is a more serious wrestler now that can be put into the mid card."
"I like Curt Hawkins. His look in his return run in WWE was really cool and he can wrestle. Did the lose streak storyline really well and got you invested. Leagues better than Zack Ryder, who i find overrated and who wrestled garbage death match bullshit with that worthless loser Nick Gage. Cool dude, cool wrestler, deserves better. 8.0 rating"
[5.0] "Though I think he isn't a good wrestler, at least he is fun to watch with him having the longest loosing streak in the modern era. And he plays it off very well."
[7.0] "A workhorse, a veteran of the independent scene, an entertaining decent wrestler and also a trainer who, as part of the Create a Pro Academy, has trained several stars with potential, the most brightest of which, perhaps, is MJF. Brian is primarily an entertainer, his matches are not always good enough, but at the same time he has a good base, which now allows him to be visible in Impact Wrestling. He also had a great last run in WWE, which personally in my opinion made him one of the best jobbers in the history of the company, for whom I really wanted to worry and whose reunion with Zack Ryder was very emotional. 7 points."
[7.0] "(I'm only judging him based on his stay at WWE) Losing is also an art. And building your entire character on failure is a skill. Hawkins has good ring skills (about 6/10 in my opinion) but they weren't his biggest advantage. Curt was able to build his entire character on failures, and he did it both as a heel and as a face, and it worked both ways. He was credible in what he was doing, and he was able to entertain. From a certain point, everyone was probably cheering him on and hoped for his success, which took place at WrestleMania 35. And for this skill of building a character he gets a higher grade than indicated by the ring skills."
[8.0] "Entertaining guy and very good worker. Two runs in WWE as Curt Hawkins, both defined by short reigns with the Tag Team Championships with Zack Ryder. Was able to turn his losing streak into a gimmick and got it over, though it's a pity that a title win at WrestleMania would so quickly dissolve. He's been having a good second (and proper) run in Impact, which I'm enjoying very much and has seen him positioned as a World Championship contender on two occasions but his push does seem to have been significantly reduced since his feud with Matt Cardona and loss to Christian Cage. Despite a short run as TNA World Tag Team Champion with Trevor Lee and a myriad of independent champions, Brian Myers is most associated as the partner to Cardona. Myers is by far the superior worker and arguably the more reliable promo but he hasn't yet shown the independent creativity and motivation to really break out and get himself over on his own, which I believe is why Myers is working more matches and making more towns but Cardona is getting the titles and main events on IWTV/Impact/Fite. I still have high hopes for Myers as a singles competitor in Impact and on the Indies and I hope he gets a chance for a run on top as the piece of crap heel he can play so well."
"He's a good fighter but not much more than that, if he's fighting a talented opponent he can make interesting fights, otherwise they'll just be forgettable fights"
[3.0] "A wrestler who is okay in the ring but has no credibility and will probably never have one again. His microphone is correct. I think he does better in Impact now but I don't watch Impact so I only rate him on his WWE run."
[8.0] "Y'all are sleeping on Brian Myers. He's been putting on some of the most consistent performances of anyone since returning to Impact last year. You cannot deny his in-ring fundamentals and technical prowess. Even his character and promos area huge step up from what they used to be, he's gotten a lot more natural at it. Plus, now that he's leading his own stable, he has a lot of potential to be a big player in Impact."
[5.0] ""alright" would be the word to define this guy: never stood out particularly in any point of his career, a decent hand when it mattered, and could go in nearly any format to a suitable extent. He's a guy who's fine in everything he does, but isn't particularly good in any of them. He's got a great elbow drop but man, you really have to be a special kind of wrestler for a in-form AJ Styles to not get anything out of you. He's a dab hand in comedic bouts and plays a good underdog jobber, but he's been really mixed in IMPACT thus far, having a mix to good to horrific quality bouts. He's definitely not a main event but you can throw him in the undercard and he'll do no harm."
[5.0] "Brian Myers is a great heel with a good mic and a more than acceptable in-ring performance, although his time in WWE ruined him a bit (his last stage)"
[5.0] "Assets: Has the requisite size and image for a professional wrestler. Has shone his brightest as a tag specialist at the highest level. Is a student of professional wrestling and has found some notability as a wrestling social media personality. - - - Flaws: Doesn't stand out in any particular way. Is still looking for a notable singles accomplishment to hang his hat on. May be better remembered as a tag specialist as a result. - - - Career Potential: Solid league-level tag specialist."
[6.0] "Brian Myers is the stronger competitor between the Major Brothers, despite his partner's greater success. Being more reserved and quiet than his partner, his charisma is not as strong and that limits him, but he is more enjoyable as a worker. He also seems to be a good sport, despite his ridiculously long losing streak. It was a feel good moment when he won the tag titles with Matt at Mania, thus ending the losing streak and also giving him some gold in the process. He is also noted for being a lifelong fan, particularly admiring ECW, and cited Chris Candido, Raven, Steve Corino, Tommy Dreamer, and Nova as some of his favorites. In addition to that, he has helped trained MJF and Kris Statlander, two up-and-comers for AEW. He's a hard worker and a relatable, humble person."
[9.0] "Very underrated in the ring. Finally getting to show his worth in impact. His star will rise over the next few years. Also trained some of the best rising stars in AEW."
[7.0] "Brian Myers is one of those wrestlers where all the things fans compliment him for would seem like insults to him. He is the proverbial 'good hand'. He can form a solid tag team with just about anyone, can cut a believable promo, performs well but not spectacularly as a either heel or face. Impact is a great fit, his 'Most Professional' wrestler gimmick has let him break lose from some of this perceived limitations. Ironically this is partly because he has been working with similarly performing wrestlers like Rohit Raju."
[6.0] "He is an okay wrestler, obviously underpushed by WWE where he did some good performances. I like his work in Impact Wrestling today. He is good but not incredible, nothing more than a midcarder to me but far from a jobber."
[7.0] "A truly hard worker. The way he embodies his persona allows him to get over even in defeat. Beyond putting over the whole of the WWE beautifully, the obvious highlights for the once Curt Hawkins in the big company are his title success with Zach Ryder as well as his losing streak leading into the most recent of their aforementioned title victories. A consistently underrated performer who can thrive no matter where they are placed on the card. When given the chance to take the mic or truly compete, he always steps up. Myers is at his best when in a promotion that affords him such opportunities."
[6.0] "Wrestling has a lot of underrated people and Curt Hawkins is one of them. He has actually a very interesting moveset, though you don't see much of it now. It's a shame that only his Edgeheads time, his little re-work in NXT and maybe his jobber tag-team run with Tyler Reks were the peaks of his career. He's maybe not the guy you wanna see and hear in the main-event scene for a long period, but Hawkins' character work is more than just decent, in a different time he'd have been a good asset for the mid-card. Whenever Hawkins gets a serious match all of a sudden, he continues to be a fluent performer. He continues to wrestle in a good form in comparison to some other similarly inactive wrestler."
[4.0] "An acceptable worker with limited charisma. Pretty much perfect as as jobber who doesn't distract from the people he's meant to put over. Solid as a tag guy with Ryder."
[5.0] "Curt Hawkins has never really done anything of interest in his years of being in the WWE. He's not bad in the ring, he just seems like a random dude who showed up one day with no character development. Even his losing streak gimmick didn't feel special. He's back with Ryder now, but it just seems too far lost at this point. He trained MJF though, so perhaps training is where he can shine going forward. Well... that & playing with action figures."
[6.0] "Hawkins is the kind of solid talent who will probably always have a place in wrestling one way or another. Although his first run with WWE - which did see him win the Tag Titles with Zack Ryder - eventually saw his role devolve to that of being an enhancement talent, he still seemed to be well-respected for his in-ring abilities and was entrusted to work with the Rock as he prepared for one of his comeback matches. After his release, Hawkins - under real name Brian Myers - became a workhorse on the indy scene, taking regular bookings with notable promotions. Since returning to WWE, he's largely been used again as an enhancement talent, though his lengthy losing streak eventually culminated with a WrestleMania (kickoff) Tag Title win alongside old partner Ryder. Outside WWE, Hawkins notably operates the Create A Pro Wrestling Academy alongside Pat Buck, which has produced several high-quality new talents."
[8.0] "Curt Hawkins is a fantastic wrestler and great on the mic. This losing streak gimmick has run its course for far too long however, and WWE need to do something different for him. There's always the option of putting him with Zack Ryder again, but given the fact that WWE don't seem to be moving away from the losing streak Hawkins still has, it will probably never happen."
[7.0] "Curt Hawkins is an overall good wrestler, who isn't lacking talent and has a pretty good character. Unfortunately, he is stuck in a losing streak that seems to never end. As for his in-ring ability, he isn't bad but he isn't spectacular at all. I think he deserves a push, but not a very long one. He could be a good short-term US/IC Champ."
[7.0] "He deserves way more than just to job to people like Apollo Crews and Jason Jordan, He is good on the mic, and deserves a better gimmick, the creative team completely destroyed him. He Should be A mid-carder at least...."
[1.0] "Definitely one of the most boring guys on main roster. His career so far is totally forgettable. Spending most of his time being a lower midcarder or jobber without any special moments. In ring work : meh, mic work : non existent. Charisma : almost no. Just a waste of time."
[7.0] "Despite being Jobber Supreme, Curt Hawkins is actually very solid as a wrestler, he's good in the ring and sells offense well, he has a good look (though i cant decide if i hate the blue and orange or not). His strongest assets are his charisma and his mic skills, he's strong on the mic and is able to get heat on himself well, he seems more suited to being a heel, however I do see him working as a babyface if they make a storyline out of the losing streak thing."
[7.0] "A pretty solid, underrated worker (especially as part of a tag team) with a number of damn good matches under his belt (his single matches with another two guys im fans of, Beretta and Tyson Kidd, come to mind. ) and a decent amount of mic skill & charisma. He's never gonna be a top guy as even i'll admit he isn't particularly outstanding in one area, but, like another guy I'm a fan of (Yoshi-Hashi), he's a very solid hand to have on a roster and I hope he rises from the lower-midcard mass."
[9.0] "Hawkins/Myers is very underrated performer, great on a mic when he doesn't need to follow a script. Backed up with a charisma and good look, he is somewhat dragged by inconstancy in his in-ring performances. He is able to put a good showing, especially in tag team match, but he has also some duds under his belt. Still, he is very solid, reliable talent, best when working in team with good worker that isn't as comfortable on microphone as he is."
[3.0] "Everything he has done in WWE has been a bust. Outside of WWE, pretty much still a bust. The talent is there, but it's not connecting and at this point I don't think it will"
[4.0] "Curt Hawkins is a guy with a great look, a good amount of charisma, and is a serviceable worker in the ring. His current role on Smackdown as a guy who runs his mouth and can't back it up is fine, but even if they tried to book him as someone who actually had matches, he'd still be sub-par at best. Just not a very good wrestler; and is at his best in a tag team. He is also one of the few people I can think of who has had a bad match with AJ Styles."
[10.0] "Brian Myers is probably my favorite guy on the indies right now. He's extremely underrated, and I say this as someone who used to underrate him. I absolutely HATED Curt Hawkins. I didn't want to know anything about him. I found him annoying and insignificant. When he ended up on the indies, he was suddenly everywhere. I didn't give him a fair shot at first, but once I started to watch him and pay attention, I realized that WWE had no idea what they were doing with him. His ring skills are amazing. He has a ton of personality. He can pull off being a heel in NJ and a babyface in NY like he's blinking, and he does well in either role. He's amazing to watch and he knows how to showcase his opponents perfectly. I can't praise him enough! I have definitely changed my views on Brian since he came to the indies and I realize now he is another prime example of WWE's misuse of talent. I am a Brian Myers fan for life!"
[10.0] "Curt Hawkins is simply on of the best wrestlers that worked in the WWE. He was well overdue of a push. I mean, seriously, he could have been up there in the all time greats. He could work any role you gave him but in all fairness, he's better off as a heel. He has some great wrestling moves too and totally looks the part."
[9.0] "Hawkins is a great wrestler. It is just unfortunate that his talent isn't used better. He is a versdatile wrestler, with a plethora of great moves and a ton of charisma."
[7.0] "Always liked Hawkins, he's got potential to become something, not the top dog, but I see him as United States Champion, if he is given the chance."
[8.0] "Hawkins is among the more underrated competitors in the WWE. He is an agile wrestler, with a nice mean streak. His wrestling is intense. He is a good tag team specialist. He has good matches. He knows how to use a microphone."
Allerdings muss dafür langsam mal was passieren. Ein Gimmick wäre u. U. mal ganz angebracht...
