There is absolutely nothing to say about his pure skill in terms of wrestling, he has good chemistry with everyone, highflyers or brutes, and it's refreshing to see talents like that. The only major downside that keeps me from rating higher than a 7, is mic talent. Maybe it's not for me, but I do find annoying the way he cut his promos. Would probably upgrade my rating, if Je'Von, improve his mic work."
[7.0] "Incredible athlete, but still green as a gourd when it comes to wrestling. Extremely young with high upside once he gains experience. Needs to be more consistent selling, but that'll come. Has some charisma and currently his character is just being the new, young kid on the block, but that'll change as he ages and becomes more mature. Not the best promo, but will also come with experience. Would also like to see him add a bit of weight if he can without compromising his athleticism because he's painfully thin. I like what I've seen so far and look forward to seeing his growth."
[8.0] "Je'von Evans is one of the few reasons I'm even still giving any attention to WWE despite having every reason to completely give up on the company in the year 2026. Not supporting the company financially, of course, fuck that shit, but at least keeping tabs on a few wrestlers that I adore like Sami Zayn, Gunther, Ilja Dragunov, etc. Je'von is, as stated in my opening statement, one of those elite few for me. He's an unbelievably athletic and talented guy with basically unlimited upside that I think deserves way more attention than other prospects like Oba Femi or Sol Ruca at the moment. For starters, and despite some sentiments I've read from others, he does actually have a pretty solid grasp of psychology and sells well enough. Perhaps a bit inconsistent sometimes, think Seth Rollins or Mike Bailey sort of inconsistent where he'll still do high flying stuff but at least acknowledge a level of limb damage, but at the very least I can believe he's powering through injury via sheer force of will and adrenaline as opposed to simply not selling at all. He's also good at match structure even though he's young and a bit of a "movez" guy, building up to big spots with anticipation instead of just doing them to no reaction. I don't get a Velveteen Dream feeling from him where he's entirely flash with no substance that people overrated because good experienced workers carried him to good matches by working around inherent fundamental weaknesses. Je'von is the real deal. I simply hope that TKO isn't so utterly incompetent that they don't fumble the most promising young talent they currently have, but given how utterly fucked the build to this year's WrestleMania has been among their other idiocy I don't think they'll fully capitalize on him unfortunately. An eight is fair for now as I do feel we haven't seen the best of him yet, but he's already proven himself enough for me to not feel like I'm overrating him."
[9.0] "You know how some wrestlers are great until the bell rings? Je'von is almost the antithesis of that. He can feel quite out of place, but as soon as the match starts, he's an incredible in ring talent and one of the most exciting people to be booked in any match, you just know it's going to be a great time. His matches against Oba, Trick, and Ethan Page were always so enjoyable that it's impossible not to root for him. He does lack a bit of 'presence' for me when he isn't wrestling - when you put him in there with the guys with better mic skills or more natural 'aura', he can feel a bit out of place. That being said, he's still very young, so plenty of time for that to be ironed out."

MAYBE in 5 years this guy could be rated an 8 or 9. He's still green as grass in 2026 though. Watch Randy Orton vs. Evans again and tell me with a straight face that this guy is a 9/10. He can maybe get there one day, but right now? C'mon"

Most guys his age are still figuring out the basics, but Je'Von is out here outworking 10-year vets and stealing the show on a regular basis. It's not just the high-flying stuff--though let's be real, his flips are absolutely sick--it's the psychology and the little details. He doesn't have that frantic energy of a rookie just trying to get his spots in; he has the poise and timing of someone who's been doing this for a decade. He already looks like he belongs in the main event scene right now, not years down the line. I can't even imagine where he'll be in 5 years. Absolute stud."

He moves from one big move to the next with no setup, no pacing, and no idea how to build a story. The crowd popping for athletic chaos creates the illusion that he is farther along than he is, but being over does not mean he understands what he is doing. Right now he is all flash with no internal logic holding the match together."
[10.0] "Well 1st of his real name is Malachi and he is a great high flyer with a lot of upside who I think is gonna be a big player in the WWE in a few years as he just gets everything. Many wrestler are high flyers but he does the extra like psychology and having meaning for his moves and his promos are quite different from the generic WWE superstar"
[9.0] "I first watched Je'Von at Heatwave, and I was blown away. This kid has it all, from a defined character, solid promo skills and very good in-ring work. The fact that he's 21 and this talented is amazing. While he isn't quite ready for the main roster yet, he is one of the best young talents not just in WWE, but in the whole world."
[9.0] "Seen a lot of his matches lately and I am very impressed not just by his athleticism and risk taking but his striking is also solid, his psychology is good, he can put on good matches with anyone at least half decent. His promos aren't overzealous but natural, which is totally fine. He's the whole package and he's only 21 years old. This guy is seriously impressive. He must have grinded A LOT in the indies. There is a good reason WWE executives are high on him. His work in the indies was also very impressive from what I've seen. 9/10 I reserve 10/10 for icons."
[9.0] "Easily my favorite wrestler right now, sky is the limit for this dude. The best example of DPW giving so many wrestlers a platform, and them running with it. He has never seen before athleticism, a very relatable personality that is genuine. It's authentic. Doesn't feel like a gimmick, this is really just a kid who grew up watching wrestling and is living out his dream. He's also underrated in the psychology department. He's a generational aerialist, but he still can sell the prospect of being limited due to his size and stature against bigger opponents, as well as his ability to do said high-flying moves longer into matches. It makes him the ultimate babyface. We have a lot more to see out of him, but this is just a prelude to what might be an all-time career."
[9.0] "Je'von is an amazing young talent. He is incredibly athletic and innovative. He is a high flyer but knows how to fight in between the cool spots. I love how authentic and true to himself he is when he talks. I can only imagine where he will be in a few years as he gets bigger and matures. There should be no limit to his success."
[10.0] "It's completely terrifying just how good Je'Von Evans is at wrestling. Obviously his physical traits are incomprehensible, completely blowing away the expectations of a typical "high-flyer". However, he's so much more than the flashy spots you see on social media. His matches consistently have some of the most insane choreography and compelling psychology I've ever seen in the WWE. This lets him have an amazing match against literally anybody, even wrestlers considered below-average in the ring. Even outside of the wrestling aspect, he has endless charisma that clearly lands him as one of the top babyfaces in NXT, on top of being underrated on the mic. If the WWE doesn't push this guy to the absolute moon, it might be one of the biggest fumbles in WWE history. This dude isn't just "the future", he's right now."

The kid has real potential, if he doesn't focus just on the flying and bouncy stuff, he'll get somewhere"
