He's not a top star by any stretch of the means but he's the kind of guy you can throw in a tag team or a midcard match and have it work most of the time. He moves pretty well for his size, and doesn't make that his entire shtick because of his raw power. He's just a good wrestler, nothing more nothing less."

[7.0] "Mastiff is a good addition to the NXTUK brand. I think he could use some time with the mic to really sell us on him being a dangerous individual. On second thought, give him a manager. I think something akin to Cornette to Vader would do wonders for Mastiff. Moves well in the ring & fun to watch. I also like the subtle camera shake they do when he stomps during his entrance. Just develop his persona a bit more & maybe he can break into the NXTUK main event scene (which is currently really lacking)."
[7.0] "Solid big man. The guy can go but is a bit boring once you've seen a couple of his matches. Being the grumpiest man in British wrestling means he is really convincing as a frustrated monster."
[6.0] "Often when you refer to a larger wrestler, you say they move well "for their size". Mastiff is 315 pounds, and he moves well for any man's size. He is agile beyond what he appears to be, and has consistently solid matches. He has slowed down a lot lately though, and that dropped his score to 6"
[7.0] "this guy is a tank, huge body so he's not gonna be the fastest in his in ring work so uses a lot of strikes, power moves and suplexs (his German suplex's are some of the best I've seen). good on the mic and able to put on some really good showings Dave has got a lot better over the last few years compared to some of his earlier work, finally coming into his own and starting to show what he can do as a professional and that is be a solid power wrestler on the British Scene"
[10.0] "An extremely impressive wrestler, for his size I couldn't believe that he could do strong style so perfectly. I think he would be a perfect fit in WWE, because TNA didn't like him. Dave Mastiff would also be amazing in PWG he would immediately go over with the crowd."
[6.0] "Mastiff is not the worst "big" wrestler i've ever seen, however, he isn't the most entertaining either. I've seen roughly 7 matches featuring him and they all seemed the same with very little change. He can sometimes break out an interesting move every now and again but the chore is sitting at your desk with a palm on the side of your head with your hair in your fingers while you wait for one to happen. This may be Steen/Owens' fault, but i can't take Mastiff's cannonball as a serious finisher when i see Kevin use it and it always gets two. Mastiff with a new finisher like a diving senton or an Emerald Flowsion would suit him more in my opinion. He can move for a big guy, but he can also drag a match on more than i am willing to watch."
[6.0] "Unheimlich unterhaltsamer Mann, der sehr wohl zu guten Matches in der Lage ist und immer wieder eine Aktion raushaut, die man ihm nicht zugetraut hätte."
[10.0] "Toller Brawler und überraschend schnell und beweglich für seine Statur. Sein Finisher mit heruntergelassener Hose und nacktem Hintern ist ebenfalls ziemlich cool. Für die PG-Ära der WWE natürlich völlig ungeeignet. Mit dem 100% Bastard würde man doch gerne mal ein Bier trinken gehen-und anschließend den Pub verwüsten."
[8.0] "Hab mir ein paar Matches bei PROGRESS WRESTLING auf YT angeschaut und muss sagen das mich The Bastard mich extrem überrascht hat. Anhand seiner Masse hätte ich nie so eine Schnelligkeit und Agilität erwartet. Verdammt beeindruckend der Typ."
