[8.0] "A very enjoyable run as "The Magic Dragon". Its truly a shame that this man died at such a young age because I could have seen him doing rather well over the years, he would have been there for the J-Tex angle in WCW I'm sure. A wide variety of chops and kicks with excellent timing and understanding of pace/psychology. Good lil team there with The Great Kabuki and some fine aging confrontations with the Von Erich family in World Class. The look must also be noted, intriguing masks with the ponytail hanging from the top. One of the best "martial arts master" wrestlers. And if you recall The Orient Express, in a way The Magic Dragon was like **all three** members rolled into one. EDIT: I'm just now seeing his stuff in Mid Atlantic, the team with The Great Kabuki was getting even better here. Outstanding tag team moves that must be noted: Kabuki flapjacks Dragon headfirst into a prone foe's chest & Dragon performs a standing Gory stretch while Kabuki drops a 2nd or top rope forearm to the chest. Very watchable!"
[7.0] "Man, it just sucks talking about Magic Dragon. Guy was a solid mid card act and tag worker, quite solid in the ring, and was very reliable. His training work with the likes of Kobashi, Ogawa, and many more Young Lions despite his relative youth was a good showing for just how well equipped he was in terms of wrestling knowledge and experience. His Southern work isn't spoke of often but he had some good work over there as well. Gone way too soon, especially considering he was nowhere near his peak yet and still had many more years left in him."
[7.0] "This guy was great in the ring. Best known as the masked Magic Dragon. He was fast in the ring. Best known in AJPW. Also he was successful in the Western States territory and Texas WCCW. Sad that this guy died so young and was at his peak. Who knows where this guy would have gone. Had some great feuds with the Von Erichs."
