| 03.01.2023 | Squared Circle | 9.0 | If Vicki Williams was Moolah's perrenial #1 contender, Joyce was 1A. Another quality wrestler stuck underneath Moolah's umbrella, Joyce tagged with Vicki and really helped elevate the Women's tag team title. Later she was still at it, now as a heel, holding the belts with Wendy Richter. More of a mat wrestler, opposed to Vicki's high flying style, Joyce could hold her own in any match. She also had a long program with Vicki after they broke up, taking wins in the vast majority of them. One of the cornerstones of women's wreslting. |

Well-respected by her peers, Ms. Grable's legacy is not at the level it deserves to be, in no small part due to the stranglehold that Moolah had on the politics of women's wrestling for decades. During the 70s, her appearance was just as prominent as her in-ring skills. She was blessed with beautiful green eyes, flowing blond hair, alabaster skin and a thick, sexy body. |
| 17.03.2021 | BEER CAT | 8.0 | A hidden gem in every sense, held down for far too many reasons (sexism naturally, Moolah obviously even if she's never admit it), but a legend in her own right. Employed a Funk-ian wild women streak that was easy to work with and translated well to every situation she found herself in, Grable put in nearly two decades worth of work in AWA, Stampede, WWF, Mid-South, Puerto Rico, AJW and IWE in Japan. Particularly gifted as a tag wrestler. Joyce Grable kicks no small amount of ass and she's worth a day/week of youtube rabbit-holing. |
| 09.08.2020 | jajt1989 | 7.0 | Probably one of the better womens performers at the time but with Moolah having a stranglehold on everything never really got the recognition she deserved |
| 03.03.2020 | JEK 1991 | 7.0 | Built as a stocky performer. She was very good and technical. Exciting to watch and won popular in the Mid-South. She was not like her mother Judy. |
| 04.07.2018 | CognacConversation | 8.0 | Joyce Grable was one of the best ever women wrestlers. Extremely fluid, ring aware and managed to bring out the best in her opponents. I remember watching a match from (probably) the late 70s against Leilani Kai. She worked at a high level and it keeps your attention! Someone who's definitely a name in wrestling history but over time may have been forgotten by some. With American women's wrestling going through a renaissance of sorts now, who better than Ms Grable to honor? |
