[4.0] "Leva seems to have a fun IRL personality, and on an independent level was able to connect with the crowd well through her cosplay gimmick. For obvious copyright reasons, that gimmick would never have translated to a televised product, but she still succeeded in gaining some crowd support in NXT during her short run as Blue Pants, and she did what she could with the librarian gimmick in AEW. With the caliber of women's talent coming into both NXT and AEW during her time there, though, her ring skill - while reasonably adequate - seemed to have a definite ceiling that it wasn't going to break through. At those upper levels she may have ultimately been better utilized as a manager than a full-time in-ring competitor."
"She's not a technical wizard, nor does she radiate charisma, but she is a solid midcarder, she can pull off a wide variety of looks well with her cosplay gimmick and she is reliable and has a good attitudde, she's been a part of lots of women's wrestling in the american indies as a dependable talent, but she probably won't be carrying any companies or divisions."
[5.0] "Leva isn't great on the mic. She certainly isn't good in the ring. But she does have a lot of charisma and was a great manager as the Librarian. She was the only reason that gimmick was the least bit watchable, and I loved their dynamic of a heel wrestler with a face manager. Leva's always fun to watch on screen and I'd like to see her moved into a manager role for somebody else."

At least Avalon has a little going for him, Leva is just so cringe whenever she opens her mouth and she can't wrestle worth a dime. There's no use keeping her around unless AEW needs more jobbers which they clearly don't."
[2.0] "While Leva Bates seems like a nice person, she doesn't have a lot of in ring or mic skills. Best as a manager, but even then unable to really get those she's working with really over. Her matches feel slow and sometimes a mess."
[2.0] "Her in-ring skills, never anything to write home about, have worsened over the past few years, which would be a good reason for her to quietly shift to a less physically active role. Unfortunately she's also pretty bad at promos with that terrible delivery of hers: she sounds like a 16-year old taking part in a mandatory school talent(less) show, not a pro-wrestling manager. I am not exactly sure about her gimmicks either: what is she supposed to be? A wrestling fan who dresses in Halloween costumes? A female nerd? Honestly one of AEW's most puzzling signings."
[5.0] "An example of a wrestler who's mostly been in a few different throwaway gimmicks & has never found something that really took off. I appreciate all the hard work it must take to put together all the cosplay costumes. But at the end of the day I feel like I'm watching someone doing Halloween. How can anyone really connect to that? The Blue Pants thing in NXT was fine for what it was & it lasted longer than it was meant to. But it still was not anything that could have lived long term. The AEW librarian thing is atrocious, but I feel like sooner than later she'll drop that & likely just wrestle under her own name. I'll give her a chance if she repackages from this librarian gimmick, but to be a success in this business you have to give us something we can feel emotion towards. Thus far, Leva Bates' personas have largely not accomplished that."
[3.0] "Mediocre at best, and with uninteresting gimmicks for me, she has also got a lot sloppier from recent years (as far as i can remember from her NXT tenure)."
[5.0] "Leva is certainly clever, but she can't wrestle much better than the worst of the WWE divas c. 2005-2014 (she'd be above average for her varied moveset, below average for execution/selling). Nonetheless, I give her points for creating interest with her looks and characters, as well as her mic skills and promos. All things considered, Leva is "OK"."
[6.0] "Im Ring und am Mic ist sie halt recht durchschnittlich. Im Ring liefert sie nie grottenschlechte Matches aber auch nie besonders gute. Sie ist recht sicher aber das Moveset ist nicht besonders breit und sie sticht auch mit nichts besonders hervor. Am Mic manchmal unsicher, manchmal durchaus ganz überzeugend. Insgesamt in jeder der beiden Kategorie 4 Punkte. Ihre Stärke ist aber ganz klar ihre Ausstrahlung und ihr Characterwork. Hat sich mit ihrem Cosplaygimmick eine eigene Nische geschaffen, mit der sie absolut zu unterhalten weiß. Man muss natürlich sagen, dass diese Ausstrahlung nur bis zu einer gewissen Ebene reicht aber dennoch finde ich sie, dass sie ihre Rolle gut ausfüllt und deshalb 8 Punkte. Insgesamt aufgerundete 6 Punkte für sie, da bei ihr der Unterhaltungsfaktor wichtiger ist als das In-Ring Geschehen oder das Micwork."
[6.0] "Nicht schlecht, die Cosplays sind klasse man sieht einfach das sie da Liebe zum Detail reinsteckt und großer Popkultur Fan ist. Schade das sie bei WWE keinen festen Vertrag bekam. Wäre auch bei NXT eine ordentliche Verstärkung. Ringskills sind solide Mic Work kann man jetzt nicht bewerten da ich fast keine Promos von ihr gesehen habe, 6 Punkte sind da gut angebracht."
[5.0] "What does one do when they have so many hobbies at once that require varying amounts of time and effort? Do them all at once of course! By fusing her loves of Wrestling and Cosplay (and by extension the "nerd culture" associated with it), Leva Bates has managed to become a crowd favorite. As a wrestler from a technical point of view, she leaves a lot to be desired. What she lacks in technical skill, she more than makes up for in personality and enthusiasm, and definitely makes for a good live performer to help get a crowd going. You won't see her winning all of the big matches, but you'll definitely see her having the most fun. And for what it's worth, I don't think Bates would have it any other way."
[10.0] "Leva Bates is a performer I love to watch. I first saw her as "Blue Pants" and was impressed with her natural charisma, but it is multiplied tenfold when she is left to her own devices. Her cosplaying gimmick is a lot of fun, she usually works in some very fun shtick, and when it comes to throw down she's great at that as well, can have a good match with just about anyone, anywhere if given the chance. Leva is definitely high on my list."

She is just a poor worker, especially considering her experience; poor technically, weak offense, and a poor promo. She also comes off as immature and seems to lack in the common sense department as well considering how she blew the sweet deal she had with NXT."
