"In WWE, Cole Karter was phenomenal. I loved his gimmick as a member of the D'Angelo Family. It was sad to see him go, but I guess it had to happen sometime. In AEW, he was used as a jobber before he went to WWE. When he came back to AEW, they sorta used him to take a shot at WWE, and then put him in the Factory, which is one of the worst things you can do to a young star with potential. Hopefully, he gets out of there, at least before people forget he had potential in the first place."

[4.0] "Cole Karter/Troy Donovan is pretty solid in the ring, especially for his age. That is quite literally the only thing positive I can say about him. No character or personality, and his promo on the July 20th episode of Dynamite (the only promo from him I can find) was absolutely garbage. It is wild to me how he's already signed to some sort of contract for AEW despite his (presumed) drug issues that got him fired from WWE. He's best used as a mute goon in a tag team like he was used in his brief NXT tenure."
