[8.0] "Alan Angels is the current champion for Prestige Wrestling in my area, and hes also aligned with their current tag champions, Sinner and Saint. Angels is a great heel champion and has consistent good matches. I love that he frequently brings up Roddy Piper in his Portland promos for heat - really gets the crowd hot!"
[7.0] "Angels is a great asset to any company he's in, but really only has had the gimmick of a cult member. In AEW, he was in the Dark Order. In Impact, he's in the Design. He looks great in both of those roles, but he feels slightly larger than that. When the bell rings, he really shines, and deserves to hold the X Division Championship soon."
[7.0] "Enjoyed Five in the Dark Order. It allowed him to show he had great character work in addition to his in-ring skills. Was disappointed when he left AEW but I do believe he has a better chance to stand out there than in AEW crowded roster."
[9.0] "Criminally underrated guy in a faction full of similarly underrated talents. If AEW had any kind of cruiserweight title, Alan Angels would be a solid contender for it. Hoping he blows up bigger in 2022."
[8.0] "Far better than I think most people give him credit for, which I think is mainly because he's presented as a glorified jobber most of the time. He's always been incredibly solid in the ring and can hang with the best of them, so he's sort of a best-kept-secret for AEW's future right now."
[6.0] "He put up some good performances as an enhancement talent on AEW Dark and he showed that he had something. Hit a lull for a while after joining the dark order but has recently picked it back up to become a highlight on AEW Dark."
[6.0] "Just a jobber. But with him being in Dark Order it is a chance for him to gain more charisma and improve in ring. Down the line he could be a solid midcarder but for now he is a 6/10"
[5.0] "Alan Angels is definitely a jobber. He's young, and it's smart to put him in the Dark order for now so he can grow, learn from a large group of different wrestlers. However, we probably won't see the payoff of this training for some years. For now, Definitely a fine wrestler."
"Yep, that guy proved himself big time during the pandemic. Many indy guys stepped up for AEW, but eventhough AEW wants to feature Shawn Dean as the breakout star, Angels is the absolute best of the lot. His match with Fénix was incredible. I'm not gonna rate him higher than 7 for now, but I really hope he's featured more and gets time show more variety."
[8.0] "The best newcomer in Dark in this pandemic era. Only 22 years old! Seems to have a bright future! Hopefully will be signed by AEW and will be another young talent in the company to be developed slowly!"
