926.03.2024yenada7.0For me this rating of 2.23 is a joke. Look I am a rellatively new fan of wrestling, watching wwe since 2017 and indy since 2021 but even I can tell that khali was not a good in ring worker. I never got to see him in real time as he was basically retire after I started watching. But Khali is a sense of good pride for me as an Indian. He is the reason for indinas being fans of wrestling. Promo is most important for me but Khali was never best on mic also. But still he is getting a 7 from me. I know maybe it seems crazy but he and jinder were the reason i started watching wrestling. He is the reason for wwe popularity in India. He is a hall of famer and a straight up legend!
1016.03.2024josh man 6ixx I honestly liked Khali a lot in WWE but he was very very bad in every sense of the word. But we are talking about him in general not only in WWE. in New Japan on the other hand Khali was a beast not the best but not bad either doing moves like apron powerbomb, military drop press and even jumping over the turnbuckle. if WWE had gotten to him earlier and booked him liked they did when they had him he would be a staple of the early ruthless aggression or late attitude era.

1313.03.2024ultravioletshiroi0.0The Great Khali is without a doubt one of the worst wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling and the only reason he got signed is because of his height. He had less than no charisma, he couldn't talk, he was slow, prone to botches and despite his size he couldn't wrestle his way out of a paper bag. He was like an awkward circus attraction at best. He was fun to watch for 2 seconds purely due to him being such a spectacle but along with that he's boring and slow to the point of making Big Show look entertaining.

1607.03.2024ClawIzuka6.0I feel big guys should be based on big guy criteria. There is something I liked about Khali, even if it wasn't the wrestling. Plus he brought a lot of attention from his native India. Should he have been World Champion? Probably not. Was he a bad inclusion to a wrestling show as a whole? Not at all. He had some fun segments, and would still do stuff like take a big swing from Cesaro. I think he was a satisfactory big man and wish people could look back at his work now and realize this. Maybe it was painful at the time but there were much worse big men.

2022.02.2024TV2000 The Great Khali is blamed heavily for his poor run, but it isn't really his fault. WWE's training evaporated his knees, he was much more mobile before that and regularly took bumps. He made a great spectacle wrestler in NJPW. People also seem to forget the toll Gigantism can take on a person because of the sucess stories overshadowing the rest. However, just because the circumstances are sad doesn't mean I can disregard his WWE run. He deserves a 5 out of 10 as the tragic of a promising and imposing star who was brought down by Vince's big man fetish, only to rebound later in the mid card as the "Punjabi Playboy". While the role wasn't perfect, he did a good job compared to the ruthless aggression era showing.

2217.02.2024louiejackjr3.0Kinda unfairly judged mostly because he was overpushed in WWE. He gave an intimidating presence and was very over during his time as a monster heel, which deserves more than a zero. Did a ton for the Indian market and was a proven draw. His health unfortunately held back what he could physically do in an actual main event match. Fun character and good character work, bad workrate. Also legit scared me as a kid.

2731.01.2024HardcoreRobbo2k972.0The Great Khali was the worst Indian Wrestler in the history of WWE. He could barely walk in the ring when he did have matches but failed to make an impact as a terrifying monster because he looked like a unstable overrated giant who got given the World Title in 2007 and bought no excitement during that tenure. Batista and Undertaker and John Cena failed to make him a star as his knees were messed up and couldn't wrestle what so ever. Giving this man a 2 out of 10 overall is generous of me as he deserves a 0/10. I don't know why WWE made him a Hall of Famer in the first place, he's an embarrassment to actual legends in the business.

3113.01.2024The Quick Man3.0Was never really any good in WWE. Had a surprisingly better time of it during his early stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling, but was still never anything more than "passable" on his best days. They don't push 'em like they used to!

3618.12.2023Akatsuki5.0This one is hard to rate, as someone who is south asian descent, to finally see a south asian wrestler not just be in the WWE but look like a force to be reckoned with as a top guy, the product is the Great Khali. Yeah huge disappointment & what makes it worse, if it was just some brown guy less than 300 pounds with relatively normal wrestler height, the WWE would not have even looked at someone like this to be a main eventer even if they could wrestle. It sucks that during his time with the WWE was, believe it or not, past his prime as prior when he was in NJPW around 2002, he was more agile & quicker, absolutely shocking to see him jump over a top rope & take decent bumps.

3814.12.2023Loge1.0Completely immobile big ass 7 foot 1 indian man that sucks ass and cant wreslte. OMG LETS GIVE HIM THE WORLD TITLE! That was very smart. I would do the same. Where the fuck did they find this guy, and why did they recruit him? Did he crush a watermelon to impress the WWE? Thats fucking retarded! But honestly I wouldn't even be surprised. Vince has a big man fetish. Loved his fantastic match against Rey Mysterio, helpless poor Rey Mysterio, who got raped by The Great Khali for no reason and destroyed his momentum. I almost wanna see a shoot mma match between the two just to see what would actually happen. Almost. Also loved his match against Kane at AlMania 23. I love that match because I slept very good during it. Thanks for the Zs, Khali.
3912.12.2023ismarizvi4.0Let be honest he can't walk properly due to his condition he can't even talk properly due to that. His starting was a solid start winning world title, feud with batista, john and kane. But when he start decline he sent to like jobber and ultimately he leave due to wwe ask him to play a girls man but his wife and family and also him don't like that

4325.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12030.0If Giant Gonzalez didn't exist, The Great Khali would be my pick for the worst big man in professional wrestling. Sure, some argue his heel run in the early days of his run was good, but it was only good because of his booking, his matches were still rotten and needed to be carried by vastly superior workers like The Undertaker and John Cena, then he became a babyface and washes out the possible "good years" he had, especially comparing the length those runs had.
4407.11.20232sidemolly
4507.11.2023skyesversion0.0Quite possibly the biggest joke in professional wrestling history. He could not wrestle AT ALL and he had no mic skills (and no the birthday song to John Cena doesn't count). Plus he was a literal charisma vacuum and only had bearable decent work when he was being carried by someone else. He is the walking definition of "big men Vince wanted to overpush knowing they had no talent." This might seem a bit harsh but oh well.

4904.11.2023Ozzy2.0Khali, was an untaled, overpushed, uncharasmatic nothingman of a wrestler, his one redeming quality was his impressive size. The man was given stupid gimmciks after his first monster run in wwe, the fact the man became a World Champ in WWE was astonishing. there was no true excuse for Vinnie Mac in that sense. Was he the worst, no, was he worth the money, the world title, the hall of fame induction, no, was he a believeable & dominant monster, yes, that is my only excuse for a 3,

5902.10.2023wakaflockaflamewar9.0Oh, leave him alone you workrate-obsessed bullies! Khali's first two or three years in the WWE had a load of quality stuff, and he looked truly amazing. Often in legitimately well-worked matches, and if not; then he was just funny - I don't know how you get mad at him! His limitations are explained by his physical condition and not a lack of interest. Wrestling will always have a place for guys with gigantism as it forces the channel flicker to stop and look, Khali performed his role brilliantly. Apparently this is not a sufficient amount of characters to explain why I love Great Khali (it totally is enough, though, isn't it? ) so here is the 1st verse of his WWE theme ran through Google translate: "The door is there, I am my country, friends. Because of all the evils he has died, friends. The door is there, I am my country, friends. Because of all the evils he has died, friends."

6608.09.2023fgpfriends5.0My rating is more likely based on his character, I wanna rate him not just because of his ring abilities, I have to give him a credit, he was great as a comedy, he was great as a character, roles he played, of course, his ring abilities, limited so much, couldn't run too, but honestly, he had few... ok matches? like matches that didnt hurt eyes, he generally wasn't that bad, but of course, i don't say he was a good one too... he was just... for me a great character who couldn't wrestle much but still had some few ok matches that are better than bad matches, so heres why im giving a 5, not higher, but honestly now lower too

7307.08.2023ViolenceBret4.0Well, he looked cool, he's well decorated in WWE... Ummm... Yeah that's about it. Sloppy in the ring, can't move, can't talk... As a comedy wrestler it kinda worked, key-word being kinda. Okay who are we kidding, The Great Khali had potential as a natural oddity, but it is clear that WWE was trying to make money on their huge fan-base in India. This guy makes the Big Show look like Keiji Muto. Not the worst giant in the context of WWE, but worthy of a main event title spot? Not at all. 4/10. At least the Punjabi Playboy was mildly amusing just for how dumb it was. Say what you will about the current product, but that awkward post Ruthless Aggression-era in WWE was brutal.
7406.08.2023CMmox2.0
7505.08.2023Killerman2.0Probably the worst big man I've ever watched in wrestling. Dude has only had 2 moves a chop and a slam, his chops didnt even look good either. Also whoever came up with Punjabi Prison match shoulda also be fired stat. Who the hell thought it was a smart idea to give that match type to a man that can barely even move around in the ring. Match type and the dude sucked so bad, why the hell did this guy outta all people get the monster heel treatment and a custom match ontop of it. I'm gonna give him a 2 cus he seems like a nice person outside of the ring.
7631.07.2023bigredtalk893.0I know I know, I'm being generous. Khali had one thing going for him, size. He was more nimble early on in his career, though still limited, but by the time he made it big he had 4 moves he could do(if you consider a chop and him squeezing your traps moves) BUT, all of them were finishers...or at least they finished a lot of matches because he was a tree in the ring. Anyone who got anything out of him had to do all the work. Though, I will say I recently watched a Giant Gonzalez match, and he's worse than Khali, but that's not saying much.
7729.07.2023zachattack20230.0The great khali is one of the worst wrestlers in ring he is so slow and when he wrestles it is so boring the only reason that he is even in wrestling is because of his size if he wasn't so big I don't think he would have been in wrestling everything from his in ring to promos to everything suck one of the worst wrestlers of all time.

7910.07.2023JoshB1.0An embarrassment. Clumsy, immobile and big. Those three attributes was enough to make him the WWE World heavyweight champion. His comedy run is the only saving grace.
8005.07.2023Loghan Moresco3.0An solid 3, he is just barely adequate going back and rewatching his matches guy can barely move inside the ring and didnt even had a gimmick his size was the only reliable thing on him.

9120.05.2023Giantfan19802.0Another crappy Giant gimmick and the guy sometimes wrestled totally uninterested in what he was doing. Check out that 2007 Rumble where he dragged down the match by eliminating the best of the mid card in rapid succession after using the laziest head butts imaginable! What's more offensive than guys like Gonzalez and Silva, they made him world champion! Didn't take long for his body to start falling apart and within 2-3 years, he could barely walk to the ring.
9219.05.2023CoachW5.0He had a nice run as a monster heel in WWE, but that kind of character can only take you so far given his lack of in-ring abilities at the time.
9317.05.2023Leth990.0As an objective in-ring performer, he's the worst wrestler in the history of WWE with the Ultimate Warrior, just beating out Giant Gonzalez by a little bit
9411.05.2023suplexcity453.0So slowww. I will admit he does look cool because of his size, but because of that size he has no mobility, and is painful to watch in the ring. His world championship run was a joke.

9703.05.2023gn masters3.0it's not news that giant guys don't have much mobility in the ring, but that's not my point my point about Khali is that he never built good rivalries, he wasn't good with promos and he couldn't throw almost any punch no matter how easy it was , Khali was simply a failed attempt to create a monster who in the end turned out to be just a comic wrestler used to expand WWE to India.
