I understand why he might not be for everyone its a select type of humor and im ok with that. Hes pretty solid in tag matches with gable and I think if him and alpha academy keeps doing what they are doing I think they'll get more and more over."

His gimnick is very goofy, but like someone like MickFoley/Dude Love, that goofiness really adds up and makes him very likable and funny. I hope he gets a title one day, even though he is not close to the top in his current state."

He isn't flashy, but he doesn't need to be. He is so incredibly likeable and is must-watch for me in any segment. His stuff with Chad Gable has been the best part of WWE at times in the last few years. He is the definition of "making the most out of his minutes". I get that he isn't getting five stars from the observer, but that's not what I want from him."

Was the best part in Heavy Machinery, was the best part in the storyline with Mandy Rose, is the best part of Alpha Academy-Maximum Male Models storyline. Probably could have had a feel-good run with the WWE Championship during COVID instead of The Miz, but for Otis is great in the position they have him in. Kind of a missed opportunity though, could have been much more."

If he goes back to the goofy face he used to be, it'll work. And if he goes heel and joins MMM.. not only will it be funny, it'll also likely work. His improvement is crazy and he's also in his early 30s too which is nice, I look forward to talking about his improvement more in A year or two."

The Mandy Rose storyline was extremely fun to watch, and had me really invested. Now in Alpha Academy, I have to say, I love these two guys. Otis brings the power and a pinch of comedy from his Heavy Machinery days (it's there, you gotta look for it) to contrast with Chad's own comedy and beautiful ring work. However, Otis lacks in actual wrestling, and needs to figure out how to use his size to become a good wrestler."

I thought at first when he came in doing the kids character tag team thing, followed by the angle with Mandy (which i heard was a real thing and that he really did have a crush on her), that he was miscast for someone who looked like he did, and wouldn't be around too long. However, when he aligned/teamed with Gable, and started showing a mean streak/ monster vibes by injuring guys left and right I said ok he's got something here. Because he started working the way someone who looks like him should work, dropped all of the childish antics he was doing before, and changed his look up a lot so that the new side of him would be taken seriously. Since the move to RAW, he's been a great utility player as both a singles and a tag, had solid matches with whoever they've put him in there with, and while alpha academy still does silly stuff here and there...they've at least got across to the audience that they're both legit and not people to mess with in a shoot if one went down."

His character work is also top tier, his program with Mandy Rose in 2020 was one of the best storylines on WWE at the time and Heavy Machinery was a great tag in their own right, and while others may miss the more comedic Otis and I'll admit I certainly do it's not like he hasn't gotten over and had more success as Chad Gable's heavy."

He has his own specific charisma, he interacts well with the audience (it's not relevant due to the pandemic), and he has developed a comedian talent, but right now he is absolutely hopeless as a single wrestler, and he needs to improve in many aspects, especially as in-ring performer. The idea that a ball-shaped giant version of Eugene might win the Intercontinental championship haunts me, and I'll be upset if his victories over Dolph Ziggler escalate into something bigger soon."

He's not in the best of shape either, which I think is a bit harsh, I'm normally not that fussed on wrestlers' body shapes, but his outfit doesn't complement it well at all. But I think his biggest flaw is his character; Sorry, but I'm not exactly fussed on a pervy version of Eugene, his whole storyline with Mandy Rose is just downright creepy and I cannot find myself getting behind him at all. At least Tucker has a decent character and has a great combination of athleticism and height."

By no means a 5* match machine, but excellent at every important facet of his role. A comedy hoss is a rare breed, and he pulls off the unusual niche with flying colours, exuding enough charming goofball charisma that even segments which should be cringeworthily atrocious are usually still entertaining. Could just as easily dial back on the silliness or ramp it up even further going forwards, and barring any lolWWE unsalvageable writing or overexposure, seems capable of pulling off pretty much whatever they throw at him. Still young at 27, and already a reasonably promising if unspectacular hoss in the ring, who plays well off his partner in both matches and segments. Probably has a higher ceiling as a tag wrestler, but I think there's potential in him to at least dabble in some singles and make it worthwhile. Genuinely see him as a bit of a sleeper prospect for WWE's midcard moving forwards and one to keep an eye on, especially if you don't mind a splash of well-done slapstick in your wrestling."

His comedy was kept low key & was not too in-your-face. Well, the main roster ruined that as quickly as possible. Instead of Otis having some well timed comedy to add to a mostly serious team, Heavy Machinery was thrust into the low brow, pure comedy role the instant they arrived on Raw. Otis grunting a pretty girls, him always eating, & the Caterpillar spot nonstop; any time Heavy Machinery is on television, it's hard to sit through. I'd like to think there might still be a way to save this act, but knowing the main roster's creative team, I know that's just a pipedream."
