[10.0] "Some of y'all are so quick to rate any queer wrestler poorly and excuse yourself by blaming their ring work and it's honestly sickening. Effy is an excellent pro wrestler and does great comedy work and has a good work rate. His tag team Bussy is very over. He's doing amazing work as a booker too bringing his Effy Big Gay Brunch series to red states which in 2023 is EXTREMELY brave of both him and the wrestlers he books. If you want to see a good example of Effy's workrate and booking watch his match on Effy's Big Gay Thanksgiving on fite+/triller tv vs Kaydin Pierre I think it's a 10/10 match and everyone is sleeping on it I'll just say that show in general was a really fun watch. But yeah put some respect on Effy's name because he's one of the best Indie wrestlers out there and a top Queer wrestling star."

As I wrestler, I find him sloppy and his punches are some of the absolute worst I've ever seen. But as I said, he uses his sexuality as his gimmick well enough, and has made a career from it and had some entertaining matches, even if most of them are not for me."

It can be a 2-minute nothing match or a drawn-out title bout or a fun tag team brawl, if Effy is in it then I'm paying rapt attention. He's exciting in the ring and incredibly funny outside of it. All-around excellent."

[0.0] "The worst wrestler in the business today. Next to Shane McMahon's horrendous "boxer" punches that don't even connect, Effy's punches are the worst I've ever seen. I'm not big on wrestlers who rely on schtick (I.E. the Joey Ryan types), so he automatically loses my interest on that alone, but the fact that his schtick is tasteless, cringe-worthy, and a gross stereotype of homosexuals is what makes him the worst. If you've read Pat Patterson or Chris Kanyon's books, you'd know about the struggles they faced as homosexuals trying to earn respect in the business, so Effy's act feels like a mockery that spits on all those who came before him and sets homosexual wrestlers back decades. I'm also iffy on schtick-heavy wrestlers who don't know when to drop the act, like when they're in a main event title match, because it just makes the title and the promotion as a whole look like a joke. If the wrestler himself can't take the title match seriously, then why should I as the viewer? The Chikara promotion was guilty of doing a lot of silly stuff, but one thing I give them credit for is that every weighty or important title match had a serious tone where even the gimmicky wrestlers treated it as a big deal, because the prestige of the title was more important than getting their schtick in. That's something Effy could learn from."

[4.0] "Effy could be a decent wrestler if he toned down on the overly campy gay gimmick. I understand that he might've faced discrimination early into his career from actual homophobes in crowds, but now he's a regular amongst one of the most "progressive" wrestling communities with GCW and able to host his own named event in Effy's Big Gay Brunch under the GCW banner, and as time goes on his gimmick just feels stale: going from his Nick Gage deathmatch where he went over the top in the promos promising that MDK will turn into "Make Daddy Kum" but actually delivering a decent deathmatch to now just doing the most predictable homoerotic stuff possible, as shown in a recent Mike Bailey match on 2022 Wrestlemania Weekend where you could see him doing a spot where he was gonna put Mike Bailey's feet in his mouth and make out with them the second the match was announced. When Effy gets booked by GCW in a "dream match, " the question is always, "I wonder what wacky erotic thing Effy will make his straight opponent do? " instead of actually being interested in seeing a good match. It's disappointing because he actually has shown some potential to be a fair to good wrestler on his own, and he has shown some good promo work before."

[0.0] "Effy's terrible. Im glad there are wrestlers out there who represent my community like ASUKA, Anthony Bowens, & Nyla Rose. I just wish the big one on the indies wasn't a freaking pervert doing sexual harassment spots and showing his ass constantly. Not to mention he barely has any skills when it comes to actual pro wrretling so he has to rely on shtick. We have evolved so far so quick that it's bewildering that this dude still thinks that it's okay to do thoss creepy ass spots in wrestling. I know he says "Wrestling is Gay" but you hump women in the face in the corner? That don't seem Gay to me pally. Also don't get me started on him carnying with Disco Inferno to make money on a Twitter feud in match nobody wanted to see in real life, scummer."

[8.0] "Effy has a good look and is a well balanced wrestler and a hard hitter. He is good on the mic and good at building heat through match storytelling. He is engaging on social media and has great facial expressions. One challenge he will face is that the strongest part of the "Effy Experience" is his ring entrance to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, yet as he becomes more well known he will have to retool his entrance to not use that song due to Licensing & Copyright reasons. A fun positive character that you can put anywhere on the card - great to get a crowd hyped, great to lighten the mood after a big downer in the middle of a show, and capable of rising to the occasion to put on a 10-15 minute Indie main event if needed."

Matches are fun and don't seem to drag on, gimmick is over the top yet executed well and Effy promotes himself well. Easy to remember his name and sooner or later he'll be a star and well known. Very talented for the number of in ring years in my opinion."
