[6.0] "I'm a fan. Chic always looked phenomenal, especially in his later years and stayed a physical fitness devotee - good on him! Permanently tanned to perfection, the hair looked the same over decades: ever seen the movie The Wrestler? Of course you have, he's very much of the ilk. There were problems though. Chic would show promise right away but would either slip down the card almost instantly or be out for months with an injury. Could take/work with anything at the time & had chemistry with every dang person ever so, enhancement talent it is! Always a pleasure to watch but I remember every time I'd say "oh neat! Chic Donovan's back! " he would be gone just as quick."
[6.0] "This guy had the tools to be bigger than he was...I remember first seeing him in Memphis teaming with Barry Horowitz. He had a good look, could go in the ring, and could draw heat when he needed to. But he did mostly enhancement work. He was better than that, but some guys never live up to their full potential."
[2.0] "One of the best known jobbers in the Georgia area (along with Mike Jackson). He is memorable in the Southeast. Fans remember him in Florida and Georgia. His moves are basic but not that good. In WCW he was okay. Best peak was the 70's and 80's. Can't believe he is still wrestling over 70 and is not great."
