[9.0] "Dan the Dad is easily one of the best comedy wrestlers working today. His simple gimmick of "someone's dad" is unexpectedly really great, and there are lots of little details he puts into the character that makes it next-level. His ring skills are perfectly adequate; he's never going to main event at the Tokyo Dome, and that's totally fine. Wrestling is about entertainment, and Dan knows how to go out there and put a smile on anyone's face for a few minutes at a time."

[5.0] "Enjoyable undercard comedy gimmick, but like many modern comedy gimmicks they run into the problem of not really being that interesting after a few matches: once you've seen their routine there's really nothing else to be interested in unless they have workrate, which he doesn't really have in any measure. I don't think there's much mileage in the gimmick but it seems to work in the indies, so that's something. Not really that good though."
[7.0] "The gimmick is just so good, everything I've seen from him on the indies has been really entertaining, and I'd love to see more of him on a bigger stage."
"The character has a lot of potential. Great fan engaging gimmick that leaves room for serious wrestling. I can see this gimmick lasting quite a while if everything works out. His in-ring work leaves a bit to desire. If he works on it he could be onto something BIG TIME."
[7.0] "Danny ist ein guter Wrestler aber so richtig Kult ist es wieder man erschafft einen Charakter wie Dan the Dad und man kommt noch mehr an. Als Promoter von Glory Pro Wrestling macht er auch einen tollen Job."
"One of my favorite characters in wrestling today. The glasses, jean shorts, the haircut, theme song by Kansas, the belt, and the mug of "only" coffee are great touches to the character."
