425.03.2024ultravioletshiroi8.0Good promo, good look, good wrestling skills. Probably the most successful tough enough wrestler of all time. Sometimes he would botch but who doesn't botch at times.
525.03.2024darkblade091410.0Such an iconic wrestler. No matter how polarizing he is, he can't have not a near perfect score. The man is just a workhorse, and his loveable personality as a heel or face works. He's just awesome and I have nothing but respect.

1015.03.2024homunculus5.0The Miz is an interesting wrestler to rate. I've been able to watch his career since his early tag teaming days with John Morrison, so I feel as if I can rate him accurately. The Miz is not a good in-ring performer. He has no moveset and is a great example of the worst type of WWE wrestler. He takes no risks and is boring. His strengths are entirely promo. I believe he is a good promo, but not great. People like to use that Daniel Bryan Talking Smack promo as proof that he is good, but that whole promo is nonsense. One of the most overrated promos of all time. Danielson can turn into a washed shit wrestler and he would still be better than The Miz, even at his "peak." So, overall, I guess you could say he's a decent WWE style wrestler? Shit in-ring, good promo.
1113.03.2024CoopyHoncho3.0There's a comment that sums up Miz perfectly. He was so underrated to some fans that he's now completely blown out of proportion as to what he brings to the company. I don't know what other people are seeing in him that I'm not. I will give him credit for working hard to get past his terrible gimmick initially. Everyone loves to fawn over Miz & Morrison but they didn't really do much except have a silly show on the website. He's been doing the same gimmick and promo since 2010 with the only differences being his entrance attire. One of his most famous moments is having a tantrum on Talking Smack that others interpreted as some kind of groundbreaking shoot. The only great matches he's ever had were with people who almost always have good matches with anybody. No one ever says their best match was with The Miz. His current role as the modern Brooklyn Brawler is exactly what he should've been doing years ago.
1213.03.2024MasteroftheMatchGuide998.0Not the best wrestler in the world, but 8-times as I-C Champion certainly lives up to the moniker the Intercontinental title has of the "workhorse" title. He's also a Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion to boot. He did have an interesting camaraderie of allies like Cena (who was his co-champion in a Tag Team Match), R-Truth (who ended up being helped by his association), and Damien Sandow (who got majorly over as his "stunt double" and finally tasted gold with him). Not to mention Alex Riley, who likely would've never been a superstar without the Miz hiring him as a kind of "insurance policy" to help his boss keep the title. People think he's overrated for some odd reason, while I say the Miz may have the credentials for a HOF induction at some point. Think about it. A frat boy on Real World to 2-time WWE Champion? The Situation never did that.

1511.03.2024jameOP812.0A wrestler so hated, he became underrated in the eyes of some, and is now quite possibly the most overrated wrestler on the planet right next to Will Ospreay and Seth Rollins. Completely uninteresting wrestler, a promo that, whilst unique in delivery, is still just as shallow and barren as every other WWE wrestler of his era, a seeming lack of chemistry with every single other person he's ever stepped in the ring with apart from Ziggler for whatever reason, and most damning of all, is that he's all these things, and he simply will not go away. His moveset is crap too. Like if an AI was asked to make a heel wrestler and it was given life afterwards.

1809.03.2024Odinohka5.0The Miz excels at what he does most often: promos. His character works, he's funny, he easily attracts heat from the public with or without Maryse, and this allows him to highlight and occupy the celebrities who come to WWE. Surprisingly, his in-ring is nowhere near as distracting as his character and I'm delighted that his place is now confined to the one he most often occupies in the lower mid-card.

2225.02.2024GhassaneJabri4.0I'm very impressed that a man who had more than 20 years of in-ring experience ended up not evolving at all as a professional wrestler, yet he's constantly being the center of the discussion for the most underrated wrestler. And I completely understand the people who have that take. Because he does excel at two particular things, bringing natural heat from the crowd and doing excellent promos. But even that restricts him to a box when he sucks at being a babyface, and even if the "Awesome" catchphrase wasn't all that great to begin with, his attempt at turning "Really? " into a catchphrase is really embarrassing. But the main drawback to Miz's body of work is really subpar, he can't carry a quality match consistently, as the best matches of his career had important contributions by his opponents. Main example would be the 4-way with Owens, Zayn and Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), there was nothing about Miz's performance that was stand-out even if he was being the sneaky smarmy WWE-type performer, and the only thing that made this match good was the contributions of the former indy stars who really shined in their own fashion. Here's a better example, his match with Ziggler at No Mercy 2016 is rated very highly in the list of WWE during the 2010's, but what was about the match that was praised? Again it wasn't Miz's performance, despite it being arguably his best one (which is not a compliment, he just happened to have an average performance). He just happened to face a better wrestler in the form of Dolph Ziggler and had the retirement angle and the heel shenanigans that added more stakes to the match. Despite me airing my grievances over The Miz's wrestling abilities, none of what I said are indicative of his personality because he's very much beloved backstage. I'm just disappointed that a guy who isn't so problematic backstage ends up having one of the most overpraised body of work in the history of wrestling.
2323.02.2024IDriveAFordFusion7.0Probably the most overhated wrestler of all time, and that says something when a lot of wrestling fans have something against him, whether it's rational or otherwise. I personally believe a lot of the hate he gets is overblown and it may be because of how annoying he can be, or just how he is in ring (I think he's a good in ring worker, hence the rating), but the 7 rating is not because of just his in ring work, which is safe and actually good, but rather his amazing character work, phenomenal mic skills, and his respect for the business, truthfully one of the greatest midcard talents of the 21st century and I know that will get some blowback by some, but he's as talented as they come. His world championship reigns may have not been good, but he is without a doubt one of the best Intercontinental champions in history and was apart of one of my favorite acts that got me into Wrestling in the first place, The Miz and John Morrison. More wrestlers should take notes from The Miz, he knows how to be a great heel.

2621.02.2024Enchantium7.0When I was a kid, I despised the Miz and always thought he seemed like an absolute jackass, but once I grew up, the guy always uttered facts during most of his promo work. It just shows the difference between watching as a kid and not understanding and being an adult and understanding. I respect the man; he is a great workhorse and a very safe ringworker who protects other talents and himself at all times. Excellent talker on the microphone and will always be around - a good guy who puts over a lot of talents.

3211.02.2024Beeebon6.0I never used to care much for The Miz but he has really grown on me, his promo work is always fun even though his in ring stuff is mainly just competent
3308.02.2024danzitorock7.0I respect The Miz. He's a guy that during all these years worked correctly, did what was proposed with quality, and practically didn't get injured (as he likes to brag). Miz has a really privileged mic skill and a functional ring skill for the environment he always worked. It's obvious that at various times in his career his character has been limited to a mid card/low card talent lifter, and that he's not a generational talent, but he's good.

3607.02.2024BruceMarcos5245.0I don't find The Miz very good in wrestling even with WWE standards. He is awful in the ring, even the basic of basics can't even manage to perfect. No question his promo skills are very good as he reminds me of Roddy Piper in the 80s without the eccentricity. If The Miz only just focus on managerial roles, he could be one of the best managers in WWE like as good as Paul Heyman or Bobby Heenan. Sadly, The Miz doesn't know that potential but continues to bring run-of-the-mill matches on his arsenal. Most of his monickers like "I'm Awesome", "Be Jealous", "Tiny Balls" is simply childish and foolish. One of the biggest blunders of The Miz is main eventing WrestleMania in 2011, in which considered by fans and critics as the worst main event in history. Despite his negatives, however there are also some good points with his career. His Hollywood celebrity gimmick brought improvement from his reality star gimmick, and he has the change the channel heat because of his natural negative charisma that brought by arrogance and annoyance. Surprisingly, The Miz brought back the prestige of the WWE Intercontinental Championship in 2016-2018 in which my opinion is his best era of his career. He also has one of the best feuds with Dolph Ziggler in 2016 in which a few of those times that The Miz was treated as a serious competitor. I also like the way he dressed, as he is some sort of a VIP prick in the ring. Unfortunately, The Miz is made for WWE only and his "talents" cannot be applied in the indies, which is a good thing for hardcore indyrrific fans.
3705.02.2024RomanoInferno5.0Throughout the time he has been in WWE, he has been given numerous opportunities to shine. While he has done well with certain times, there are others that just seem...flat. Is he a bad wrestler? No. Is he a good wrestler? Depends on the opponent. He is a pretty decent talker, but in my opinion, not enough to make up for the almost robotic wrestling he does sometimes. Awesome? Not really. Ok? I'll give him that.

4001.02.2024CommisarRobe7.0My feelings with regards to The Miz have always been relatively mixed, but over time he has really rubbed off on me, I enjoy his gimmick and his in ring work ranges from fine to good on most occasions, but he can pull out a top tier level performance every now and then. Certainly a good addition to the WWE roster.

4822.01.2024nothingleftinside7.0For a while there, the miz was the only true heel on wwe television; the only guy getting legitimate heat day in and day out. Part of his appeal is his non-traditional path to stardom, and after all these years you really gotta respect him for getting as far has he has considering where he came from and the adversity he faced from the locker room. Legitimately one of the best ic champions of all time, he properly elevated the championship in several (but not all) of his reigns. There is the complaint about his in-ring ability, and he isn't the most exciting performer in the ring, but he's been in plenty of good-to-great matches over the years, knows how to sell, and can turn it up when the time is right. That said, his style is a little lackluster and repetitive, but he's never out with injury or hurting guys every other week. Where he really shines is on the mic of course, adept at getting true heat out of any audience, anywhere, anytime. A on the mic, C- in the ring, C+ for look/gimmick. Definitely a guy who gets a bad rap from certain wrestling fans. I found him worth giving a chance anytime he shows up on a show I'm watching.

5117.01.2024ISimon19127.0The Miz is the guy that I think is underrated, but in other aspects very overrated. A very mediocre performer with great mic skills, he always moved through the mid card during his long years in WWE, but whenever he received a main event push he didn't respond, his run with the WWE belt in 2010/11 was very bad and he clearly it didn't seem to be at the level of a spot of that size. Without a doubt, the peak came between 2016/2018 where he managed to raise the IC title during that period

5413.01.2024Wrestleman30066.0Miz is someone who i think has been a great showman in WWE his mic work and promo skills are the best thing about his character but his ring work is just average at best in my opinion. He is a wrestler that has been at both the top and the bottom of the wrestling world i find it sad that his main event runs were booked poorly because he's a great Heel and can get heat when necessary but unfortunately he was not seen that way by management.
5512.01.2024G8GGTRD7.0
5612.01.2024DustinHammerlock3.0For a guy whose had the chance to work with some of the best wrestlers of all time in close proximity (occasionally for long periods of time, some of them even more than once) who also had what is probably hours of combined mic time over 20 years to only have maybe 3-4 great matches and one memorable promo, I don't know how anyone can claim that the miz is anything but staggeringly mediocre. maybe even below average, considering I've seen a lot more wrestlers who were mediocre get carried to higher highs with more hits over 5 years vs his 2 decades. Miz is also my all time example of people confusing a wrestler for having charisma when what they really have is cadence. That WWE idiolect. The core of charisma is intrigue and there's never really been any kind of charm to his act outside of maybe ShowMiz. Don't know who finds his take on the arrogant, cowardly heel archetype interesting or entertaining. Incredibly hollow wrestler. Not for me.
5711.01.2024GriffinX3.0The Miz has one of the strangest career arch's I've ever seen. When he first got into wrestling anyone being honest has to admit he was awful. Then for a number of years he got to be pretty good. Then the last I'll like four of five years he just seemed to not give a damn. He's fallen into the mindset of being a made man in WWE and doesn't try. When Miz comes on everyone should change the channel these days. And now as the years go on and one he just keeps getting worse. He's ever bit the coasting off his past success.
5810.01.2024TheLegendaryEric9.0Just incredible! One of the most underrated talents of his generation and fantastic as a heel, and while being a babyface isn't his particular strong suit, he's able to make whatever he's given work really well. Essentially The Miz, is a master of sports entertaining and still sports a decent moveset.

Miz is hard tp rate cos when i see him most of the time i find myslef to be not super intrested but when i look at what he has done in his time as a wrestler his body of work is very good. 7414.12.2023celticinvader6.0Good mic skills don't really make up for how boring The Miz can be in ring. An obvious midcarder who seemed to be pushed purely to have a heel feud with Cena for a bit, which made for lots of unengaging matches. His gimmick of being an entitled rich guy is fun, but someone like MJF proved just how effective this character archetype can be and The Miz just doesn't come close, as good as he is on the mic.
7511.12.2023humanserpent8.0
7611.12.2023Personano3.0I struggle to see what others get out of The Miz. He comes off as very unserious, goofy, and at times unbearable. If I had to sum him up, I'd probably say he's the most WWE-type heel you can imagine. And in-ring, while he's definitely reliable for a decent match now and again, there isn't much that makes him stand out. His Skull Crushing Finale is neat I suppose, but that's really about all he has. And again, his 'goofy heel' nature often dominates whatever he's a part of, which more often than not just spoils things rather than making me dislike him *as a heel*.

7809.12.2023HugoRoids10.0Call me crazy all you want, but the Miz is one of my all time favorites. His mic skills and character work are obviously second to none right now and have been for years. He's gotten better and better each year. As for his in-ring skills, yeah they aren't the best but I don't mind. He's still able to hold a great match, and he's safe about it which means he's never getting injured and having to leave for months. I appreciate how good of a guy he is outside the ring as well. He's the perfect heel, especially in the modern WWE landscape.

8726.11.2023andytuga863.0Quite funny and talented on the mic and thats all for me. Guys like the Miz getting a WWE title run, it's one of the main reasons why this business fell into the gutter in terms of credibility in the late 2000's/early 2010's (lame PG era of course) and why i stopped watching Wrestling for good. Next-door neighbour/Waffle house worker look, like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Zigler and so many other overrated modern wrestlers. It's really sad this guy being so popular nowadays, but it also says a lot about the modern wrestling fans.
8825.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12035.0Great on the mic, can be a good heel when booked right, same as a mid card champion, had a great tag team with John Morrison & R-Truth... That's all the positives I can give you. He's a mediocre wrestler at best, despite he does his best to stay safe in the ring, which wouldn't be an issue if he could put together good matches without the need to be carried, abysmal babyface, should only be a mid card act and never become WWE Champion, and Miz TV is terrible. Overall, he's hit or miss for me.

9116.11.2023ThisIsCSDX9.0I don't understand why people think he sucks as a wrestler, especially since out of any & all clips I've seen of him online, only one managed to show a botch, which in turn has me confused as to why one rough moment in one match is enough for people to think they always suck. With that said, this man is an underrated if not underappreciated workhorse. His 1st WWE title reign was great, but was taking a 3rd seat in his own match to his opponent and a guy that was already retired for 7 years at the time. His 2nd reign(as well as him) was treated as a massive joke despite the accolade that came with it, being the first ever 2 time Grand Slam champion in WWE history. He has put on quite a few great matches and is deserving of so much more, and his 2nd run with John Morrison as a tag partner ended up completely wasted as well as Morrison's credibility during it. And his mic work? Arguably some of the best the business of pro wrestling has to offer. He always knew the best way to piss people off on the mic as a heel regardless of what gimmick he's taking on, from taking up his past in reality TV to banking on his admittedly mild success in movies and helping get Damien Sandow over, let alone in an incredibly entertaining way. And of course, there are some of his promos in 2016 especially, such as the night after Summerslam where he as Intercontinental Champion was stuck on the preshow(a sadly sullied time slot thanks to WWE making it feel that way regardless of the promotion that has one airing) and telling off John Cena and Roman Reigns, as well as the obvious choice in getting so pissed off at Daniel Bryan for insulting him with one of the most passionate promos I've seen in recent memory, with a jab so low belt that Bryan walked off in frustration. I don't know if that was legit frustration, btw, but if it wasn't, Bryan helped sell that shoot promo perfectly. The man is 43, but it definitely looks and feels like he's got so much more in the tank, and even if retires at some point, he can continue to prove himself as a damn good manager cause of his mic work. I'm hoping they give him one more world title run, let alone one where he isn't treated as a joke or taking the backseat to part-timers.
