This guy is woeful to watch and was sooner than later inexplicably given the gimmick of a Hulkamaniac and...they really went ALL OUT with this, the nausea it evokes is palpable. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! There is wrestlecrap, but this is wrestle diarrhea and its only saving grace is the brevity."

[3.0] "Captain Ron, Dave Sullivan... whatever you want to call him had a huge issue: he broke into the business at least a decade too late. He was the kind of big worker that would have gone to have a moderately successful career in second-tier US territories in the 70's or be useful midcarder/jobber to the stars in the 80's on his size and look alone. Unfortunately for him (but fortunately for us) wrestling in the 90's, for all the cartoonish gimmicks and silly angles, was changing deeply and it required workers to bring more to the table than merely being big and strong. In the Portland territory he did well, but Portland was basically like one of those fairytale realms where nothing ever changes: forever stuck in the late 60's/early 70's. Once he was removed from that protected environment, his limits showed immediately and showed badly. I understand he landed at the WCW because his friends put a good word for him in Atlanta but I hope they also helped him get a good paycheck because he was saddled with one of the worst gimmicks in history: Hulk Hogan's biggest fan. Let that sink for a moment. No small wonder he left the business never to return."

Any remaining potential he may have had was likely robbed by WCW giving him some lame gimmicks, notably as Kevin Sullivan's "dyslexic" supposed brother and Hulk Hogan superfan, that would have been difficult for anyone to recover from."

I think he may be the worst I've ever seen. I am seriously shocked, I didn't expect him to be good but oh my god."

I got the impression he was a well liked guy with friends in high places so he was given enough rope to hang himself... sadly he got tangled up in it when it came time to perform. At least he gave me time to grab a snack when his matches were on the show."
