Most giants start out as monsters, and in a career crisis they become comedic characters - that's what The Great Khali, Mark Henry and, in a way, Braun Strowman did. Shanky starts out as a comedic character - it's risky because if the audience doesn't get it, his career will quickly collapse. He once gave an interview in which he said that he would like to fight Brock Lesnar but as long as he lacks the skills and experience to do so. I like his character, despite his lack of skills, but as of today I cannot give a higher grade because he has not developed in any particular direction yet."
[2.0] "I can only rate him on his WWE stuff so this may seem harsh if he was actually good before going there. I like to look at him and Veer as the difference between the old black and gold brand and the main roster. On the one hand; Veer. Went through NXT (fast-tracked) Great custom ring gear, looks intimidating. And on the other Shanky; randomly shows up on the main roster slapped in a random tag team in place of Veer's original partner. Wears a generic pair of black pants and a generic black vest, does not look intimidating. The poor guy has not been given the chance to wrestle either and will not be given a chance to get over."
[3.0] "Shanky has only 5 years of experience and so far he has not managed to show anything outstanding, but so far he looks not so bad as a team player and he looks pretty adequate but still very green. It would be interesting to look at him as a comedy character - his rap was just great."
[10.0] "Shanky is the greatest wrestler to ever step foot in a ring. His renditions of Happy Birthday and "Ice Ice Shanky" are legendary. He is a huge man and moves well in the ring. He has tons of charisma and should win this year's Royal Rumble. Absolute legend."
