Jordynne Grace

"I haven't followed Jordynne Grace's career in NXT -- probably that's why her transformation looks so much more apparent to me than to a lof of folks (because I haven't heard anyone mention it). The last time I saw her (in TNA it was) she looked like a walking menace -- with bulging muscle, popping veins, chiseled, square jawline, and no boobs. How should I put it -- she didn't look quite feminine, to say the least. Damn, who am I lying to? She looked like a trans. Today? She looks like a real woman! Obviously, that's because she has gotten off the juice, or did she? Maybe she's just gained a bit of extra fat on top, which hides the veins on her muscle, covers her abs, but most importantly, softens her face, giving it a rather feminine look. Add on top of that a new haircut, stylish glasses, and the willingness to display her boobs as much as possible (at first, I even thought she's done a boob job recently, but evidently, she's always been gifted in that regard -- she was just good at hiding it). Long story short, she looks much better now. I think she's found the perfect balance between the look of Jordynne Grace powerlifter and the look of Jordynne Grace bodybuilder. Btw, if I were to choose between those two, I would choose Jordynne Grace powerlifter any day of the week, twice on Sunday."

[8.0] "Was definitely the best thing that TNA had going on during the time she was there. Looks like a million bucks, strong promo game, hits hard in safe places, & her reign was super long, & I never got tired of it once. Really feels like she'd be at home in the early-era 6-sides stuff with Kim & Kong. I hope to see this recent win at No Mercy used as fuel for further solid victories in NXT, she deserves it. She's a big star."

Heading into her prime I really do think she can make magic happen in the ring with the people on the main roster. I still think she's a bit clunky on the mic and still hasn't had that feud that totally wins me over."

[9.0] "One of the best Knockouts of all time, with an amazing look and great in-ring skills. She doesn't look out of place in intergender matches, or carrying a championship into big matches. I think she could develop her character & promos a little more - she's a decent talker, but not great at it."

You can tell she's not fully ready for WWE yet, but she seems like someone who works extremely hard, and I'm sure she'll get there. Obviously, she's perfect in the ring, but in my opinion, she's still missing something on the mic and especially in terms of crowd interaction but she'll make it. Oh, and I think I preferred the look she had in TNA, it gave her more character. In WWE she's become very generic, so I hope they revisit her look."

From the looks to the moves to even the glimpse of promos she could do, spectacular talent. Wrestling-wise she's the best thing going on in NXT rn and I'm optimistic that she's gonna be big in the industry when all is said and done."

[7.0] "She delivered a pretty solid performance at NXT Battleground on Sunday, 05/27. Her trademark power and presence were on full display. The match had strong pacing and Grace's offense hit with authority most of the time. While it wasn't the standout of the night and as another reviewer wrote, she can be "a bit bumbling and botchy at times", she could put some work in on being safer with her moves. it was an engaging showing that kept the crowd invested, however that was mostly thanks to Stephanie Vaquer IMO. Jordynne can hold her own with pretty much anyone and always brings intensity to a match."

[8.0] "Don't get me wrong, but she's awesome and muscular, and her moveset is interesting, but what is wrong about her is that she needs to practice her moves because she's not careful with her moves. Her match with Giulia is one of the examples"

She can be a bit bumbling and botchy at times but is overall very talented and has evolved well in the ring. But in all honesty? The very blatantly obvious steroid abuse has done a number on her look. It's unfortunate that she felt the need to start juicing, because at least in terms of her look, she looked far better before the steroids (not just talking about in terms of attractiveness, but also, she just looked better for the powerhouse character she portrays). I'm not trying to tear her down, but the new look honestly looks gross and considering the fact that she is a talented and respected wrestler nowadays, I just hope other girls coming up don't end up trying to emulate her in that regard. Either way, very good wrestler overall."

[6.0] "Her comments about Chris Benoit rubbed me the wrong way, regardless of how you feel about Benoit or that situation, it wasn't warranted to bring that up in order to virtue signal and put yourself over as a worker. That being said, I think Jordynne is immensely talented and works that pre-planned gymnastics style of working really well. She's a good powerhouse and I'm happy to see she's gotten some WWE looks as of late. I thought she worked a good match against Roxanne though realistically I felt she had no business losing to Roxanne due to Grace's size and strength advantage over her. She's only 28, she can only get better and better in the coming years."

[10.0] "Grace is probably the greatest female powerhouse in the game right now, up there with Rhea Ripley, as she is also a lot more athletic in the ring. Simply put, she puts on banger after banger. You want a good match? If her name is on the card she doesn't miss."

[9.0] "She is one of the best performers currently not signed by either of the two major brands. She has appeared for one of them, and shined greatly while there, but she's also had great matches and held it down for TNA for years. I love watching her wrestle."

I'm a fan of the relationships she has built with others in the business. Deonna Purazzo and her have immence chemistry. The match for the Digital Media Championship with Grace and Matt C was super fun. Overall just an awesome talent to watch grow and perform."

[0.0] "Her wrestling knowledge goes out the window when she thinks a guy like Chris Benoit could not hang with present day wrestlers which would be clearly far from the truth. Regardless of how you feel about Chris, the fact of the matter is him & the entire incident is a touchy subject and to bring it up by making negative comments about his technical wrestling ability even though that is what he was best known for does not make any sense. When it comes to her wrestling, it is difficult to take her seriously being five foot three and slow in the ring. I don't really find her entertaining or interesting to the slightest. In the age with more female wrestlers than ever, she would be somewhere in the bottom of the totem pole. Also, she definitely did not deserve to win the Impact Digital Media Championship, let alone be the inaugural champion."

[9.0] "I remember Jordynne being a pretty standout rookie back when, but the way she came into her own is very impressive. Got better in the ring, got better on the mic, completely transformed physically. Now she's something of a female 2000s Scott Steiner with better in-ring but not quite the promo chops (though she can still talk). Her husband definitely rubbed off on her, as she has a decent technical base to go with the power offense, and the two of them are great examples of how being short can be to your advantage when you want to come off looking jacked. For only being 27 she's already done quite a lot on both indies and TV wrestling, she could go onto having an incredible career in Impact or get picked up by one of the two big US companies, or both to be honest."

[10.0] "One of the best upcoming talents on the independent scene at this time. She has a variety of innovative offense and strong personality. At such a young age, she can only continue to improve and she will be someone to keep an eye on in the future. 7/17/17 What a run Jordynne has had since the time I wrote that. She had an incredible run with Impact Wrestling and became a must see talent for the promotion delivering many of the best matches in the history of the division."

[8.0] "Completely transformed herself into a powerhouse physique that's certainly striking - I would argue that only Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley have comparably impressive, purely physical presentation. She can cut a good promo and work a good match, and feels at home in any main event."

[10.0] "Jordynne is one of my favorites in the wrestling today. She fits the Steiner mold of powerhouse, where she isn't the tallest but she's compact and strong. She can keep up with any other woman's wrestler she's been against, from technicians to powerhouses. She regularly in the top matches of any card she's on, and is enjoying a fantastic second run as knockouts champ. Her only weakness might be her promos, but even those have improved considerably where she's solid at them. Her lower ratings here are primarily because of "controversial" takes on social media about legends in wrestling that killed their child and ex wife, and not her ability as a wrestler."

[5.0] "I never understood the buzz; for someone as physically powerful as she is, she lacks power movements. She is still young and will undoubtedly improve.""

[1.0] "Aside from the ignorant comments she has made which expose a complete lack of respect or appreciation for the business she is in, she's very short and flabby but is apparently a powerhouse wrestler. Even when I can't think of any times she's displayed impressive feats of strength in the ring. WWE's Ivy Nile who is shorter than her, appears more impressive despite being a rookie. Her puerile comments also makes it even harder for her to connect to her fans, even though she is supposed to be a face"

[8.0] "I was initially unsure about Jordynne Grace but the more I've seen of her in Impact and beyond, the more I have become a fan. She is a very good powerhouse wrestler. Incredible conditioning and solid speed to hang with opponents of different sizes and styles. I'm 50/50 on intergender wrestling, but she is one of the few who's believable in those matches. Also a good carrier, she made the mediocre Allie Katch look like a million bucks in their GCW match in Atlanta this year. A real cornerstone of the current Knockouts division."

[2.0] "The most "not safe for work" in all of wrestling today, Jordynne Grace for a long time has been a good powerhouse with generally good potential in the ring but she's never really used her talent and that's the worst thing about a wrestler (having talent that he/she himself doesn't use it) being one of the best if not the best in the women's roster on Imapct. Why don't you just focus on the women's division and head over to Intergender wrestling? Really a waste of talent and in fact I don't blame on her booking because even in the independent scene that was her approach."

[0.0] "Revised rating, dropping to a zero. She's fine as a wrestler, I guess. Whatever the opposite of Brodie Lee or Larry Sweeney might be, people that adored not just their own fans but wrestling fans in general, doesn't even come close to adequately describing Trisha Parker."

[5.0] "Never quite got the hype, for someone as legit strong as her she doesn't really do power moves well. She is still young and no doubt get better."

[7.0] "I'm pretty sure she's good but her competition in Impact makes it impossible to know for sure. Would like to see her elsewhere to find out, but she's shown sparks of greatness and has good charisma."

[8.0] "I saw her years ago at XICW. I was a fan before and was so glad she got singed to a major promotion. She is great in the ring and one of the more powerful female wrestlers, she is alright on the mic. She has a bright future and is one of my favorites currently in Inpact wrestling."

[7.0] "I was really hoping that Jordynne Grace would turn out to be the quintessential powerhouse women's wrestler of today, but after reading some comments she recently made with Jim Cornette & Lance Storm, I'm starting to think she might not have the head for the game. But I won't hold that against her for now. She has a very young look but a unique one at that. Impact has done some good things with her, but it feels like they are still hesitant from giving her the ball to really run with. I think once her Impact deal runs out AEW would be wise to pick her up. Considering how she connected with that fanbase at All In, I imagine that's exactly what will happen. She's definitely one to watch over the next year or two. But at this point she's still learning & a work in progress."

[8.0] "Jordynne Grace has a lot going for her - great look and personality, strong power base, varied skillset incorporating some surprisingly old-school aspects (including making the bearhug a viable finish again) alongside good strikes and technical acumen, and a willingness to wrestle anyone. Best of all, as good as she is now, at only 22 she can only continue to get better. I like what I've seen of her so far a lot, and she's a tremendous future prospect."
