Not only does he connect great with the fans and puts keeping his local scenes alive, but Dredd is someone who's always played to his strengths. Although breaking in as a not-great ECW wannabe, Dredd evolved slowly but surely into an effective brawler who fights dirty as a heel and gives it his all as a face. He plays to his strength with brawling on the outside and ground-and-pound on the inside, always taking plenty of punishment to make his opponents look great. He has a pretty good variety of ways to toss around his opponent for someone who sticks to mainly being a brawler, which means he's able to mesh pretty well with opponents who work a different style and have great chemistry with similar smart brawlers. He's not going to be everyone's cup of tea since he stays in his one lane, but Dredd's evolution to become a great brawler and a pillar of the New England scene who is always trying to build up others is a joy to watch match by match. |
