She may not be the best joshi ever but she certainly was one of the best of early 2000's - her matches against Manami Toyota, Mome Nakanishi and LCO are classics that are not talked about due to AJW being on a decline but it doesn't mean it never happened. Kaoru Ito was such an important part of AJW history and for keeping them afloat till 2005. Her wrestling style wasn't about flashy moves that made people drop their jaws but her execution of even the simplest moves was so unique + she had amazing finisher within the diving footstomp (INSANELY BRUTAL and HORRIFIC at times) She might be the most underrated joshi ever tbh, i highly recommend to check her stuff."

[8.0] "I have to comment to have a valid rating now so I will just say that Kaoru Ito is one of the most underrated Joshi talents of the 1990's. She was really good every time AJW put her into a big spot and after the exodus in 1997 she stepped up in a big way to help the company. She's not an all-timer like Yamada or Kandori so I can't give her a 10"
