919.10.2014Smi-48 Anfangs dachte ich, sie sei nur wieder eine Trittbrettfahrerin eines berühmten Namens. Heute muss ich konstatieren, dass sie sich in den USA zum Mainstream-Geheimtipp entwickelt hat. Charlotte hat bei zwei NXT Takeover-Veranstaltungen ordentlich Zeit bekommen - und dabei komplett überzeugt. Zudem hat sie das nötige Charisma und die Athletik, auf dieser Bühne weiter zu glänzen. Ich warte noch ein paar bedeutsame Matches ab, dann gibt es auch eine entsprechende Bewertung.
1024.02.2022tbdolic Over-pushed. Overrated. Because of this, it makes her annoying and so unenjoyable to watch. We get it, she's Nach's daughter. The "wow factor" from that wore off a long time ago. I see nothing in her that makes her so worthy of being the face of the women's division, except for the relationship with her father. Maybe, if they let her be her own person (which we know will never happen), she would be more appealing to the general crowd. Her mic skills need work. Her in ring work is at best, average and normal. I have never seen a match with Charlotte that had any prevalence in my brain folder. I can't like her as a face or heel. Yet, I can't go a day without hearing or seeing something from the company about her. In my opinion, she does not deserve to have the record for most championships. I appreciate what she did to help pioneer the women's movement, and that is the only nice thing I have to say.

Trish, Lita, and even Bianca and esp Becky were/are better and more respected by the the fans, real/wanna be experts, and wrestlers. They didnt learn from shoving Super Cena and Babyface Roman down our throats. Even with Stephanie gone, they are pushing the woman's revolution and rigging Ric's daughter to have the most belts somehow justifies her short title runs in between long vacations. 5/10 Rating

I'm not a Flair fan but there shouldn't be any doubt that she is one of the best and will be a solid rushmore of women's wrestling once her career is over. Her promo skills, her in-ring work, and the fact that just being in the same ring with her is a prize in itself is a testament to how great she is of a wrestler. No one thinks of Ric Flair when Charlotte is mentioned. She made her own name deservingly. 9.5/10 for me, only because she hasn't wrestled anyone else outside the wwe. I give mad props for wrestlers who were at the top of their game and still chose to go around the world to taste the different artforms of wrestling. Sasha, Iyo, Asuka, Shinsuke, mickie james, etc come to mind.

2103.07.2018LockeJV10.0Having always considered Manami Toyata and Aja Kong the gold standard in female wrestling, I never considered the "stateside" female talent worth much of a watch due to the low technical standards and generally horrible execution. That is until I watched NXT for the first time and witnessed Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks. Charlotte's abilities amazed me; with more size and power than most female wrestlers, she also demonstrated more agility than most. And she definitely showed more technical ability than any female I had ever seen in the US. I was sold, and henceforth treated to many amazing matches from Charlotte against Sasha and any other inferior fodder she was fed. Charlotte's charisma is unmatched in her class, and her ring entrance is an electrifying tribute to her father, who stood atop the business for many years. I believe that Charlotte is limited by the writing and booking in WWE, and she would be better suited with more creative freedom. However, I don't believe there is a larger stage, so her potential is limited by the powers that be. Either way, she is the best in the business today, if not ever in North America, and is always a treat to watch.

Great in-ring skill, good promos, works way better as a heel... While I can understand the reason she's disliked (that is her multiple title reigns, some of them didn't even last a month), I won't let said reason affect my rating, because that's not the case. Charlotte participated in some of the best matches in women's division from the last decade (LWS vs. Becky at Evolution, TT Ladder Match at TLC, etc.) and - adding her other values, which I've mentioned before - there's only one rating I can give.

I think the claims that she just isn't the worker everyone makes her out to be is a case of people annoyed with how she's booked rather than a testament to her actual skill. Yes she is pushed ridiculously hard harder then she should be but she is genuinely one of the best performers on the planet and her importance as one of the four horse women and her role in the women's evolution should not be understated. Yes, I get it she's pushed to the detriment of other stars at time but there is a reason why she us pushed that hard.

Many people complain about her being fed championships just because she's Ric's daughter, but that's just not true. She deserves every title she gets, because she's Charlotte Flair and has earned it. So many people critique her, but she is one of if not the greatest female wrestlers of all time.

Great psychology, very similar to her father and extremely smooth/athletic. Pretty much kicked off this whole thing when she had her match with Natalya at NXT TakeOver in 2014. She's the initial reason I cared about women's wrestling again after that match she had in NXT. A lot of people hate being worked by her, but she's the heel WWE needs right now and WWE doesn't have a lot like that.

Unfortunately the writing team has turned her completely unlikable for a huge chunk of the audience (which wouldn't usually be something bad for a heel, except people don't hate her because of the character she plays but because of how much she's pushed.) Her selling has also gone downhill from her in-ring peak, not sure if it's related to her character as she seems to no-sell anything people lower on the card do but it's an instant turn off.

She will go down as probably the most divisive horsewoman but she deserves her flowers despite getting a forced push for her last name.

While her family may have given her a lot more attention, it was her hard work, and great matches that brought her through developmental and on the roster. Charlotte is an incredibly athletic and talented woman, who uses her gymnastic background, along with her strength and height to put on great matches. She has a firm understanding on psychology, using moves to set up her finisher the figure 8. Targeting body parts for a finisher is a rarity today and Charlotte has that down to a perfect t. If there is any criticism I can give her, it's that her live promos aren't the strongest. She can cut a strong promo backstage to get legit heat, however, when she is faced with a hostile crowd, she stumbles in promos. Her backstage promos though are pretty great. The one that stands out to me is how she berated Dana Brooke on Raw recently. It was the kind of promo that had a crowd legit hating her. Most heels in the WWE have the crowd cheering them on for their entertaientrance factor. Charlotte legitimately has the crowd in the palm of her hand at this point, and doesn't need Ric Flair for her to get heat.

She is a great heel and uses it perfectly to reflect the negative reception she gets, such as her being called overrated. Did she have too many championships? Yes. But no woman is better than Charlotte. A few may be on the same level as her, but her being a Flair and the company's golden child helps her showing her talent. Iconic feuds: Nikki, Paige, Sasha, Bayley, Asuka, Ronda & Becky. She has had amazing matches (TLC Triple Threat, WM34, Evolution, WM32, against Nattie at TakeOver). She has very cool moves, like her "Diving Corkscrew Moonsault Plancha" or "Figure Eight", proving her great athleticism. Love her or hate her, Charlotte is (one of) the best.

Charlotte can perform moves that look like they were done in CGI with what I term brutal fluidity. Her ring I.Q., promos and ability to sell a match are unparalleled in the women's division. She elevates every opponent she's in the ring with and is main event caliber in every ppv appearance. I hope she wrestles forever. Long live the Queen!

Charlotte hält zwar wirklich gute Heel Promos, aber es mangelt an der "Besten Frau in der WWE" Ausstrahlung. Trotzdem insgesamt eine Top Wrestlerin.

Störend empfinde ich immer noch dieses gar seltsame Wechselspiel zwischen face und heel. Möglicherweise ist dies aber auch der sehr launischen NXT-Crowd geschuldet... Tatsächlich freue ich mich darauf, sie bald im Hauptroster zu sehen. 18. 10. 2019: Wahrscheinlich das derzeit beste Gesamtpaket und der familiäre Hintergrund ergänzt nur noch. Da ist durch den Namen eine Tür geöffnet worden, ja. Seither jedoch hat Flair die Division beherrscht!

That said, she's a world class performer. Overall, she's pretty much Sasha Banks counterpart, in that they are the two best women in the entire company overall (Asuka is a fantastic wrestler, but they overshadow her in mic skills and marketbity. What Charlotte lacks in pure technical ability in the ring (not that much reallly) she makes up for in intensity and pure ability and athleticism that really makes her perhaps the most well rounded woman in the company along with Sasha. She naturally work better as a heel because of the superiority factor and her character work and mic skills really evidence that. At her best, Charlotte is the second best talked in the division. I foresee her as probably going down at the G. O. A. T. at least in WWE's books. And can you really go wrong? Nope! She's proven More than enough to deliver on the big stage. Is she the Best of all time though? Only time will tell.

Die Selbstinszenierung steckt wohl in der DNA. Im Ring zeigt sie alles was man in der Elite können muss. Die nötige Härte und innovative Moves, guter Entrance und gutes Gimmick (gut vom Vatter geklaut, aber wer darf das, wenn nicht die Tochter). Bin eigentlich kein Verfechter der weiblichen Abteilung bei WWE aber sie ist eine der wenigen die mich echt überzeugen, die ich gerne sehe und zu recht schon öfters im Main Event stand.

Her athletic ability is fantastic and she has natural ability out the wazoo, which she apply both to great ring work and strong character work. Charlotte is the future of women's wrestling in WWE, unless they mysteriously pull the plug on the division yet again.

She could easily get by on just being the nature boys daughter but you take one look at her and you can clearly see she is 100 percent in the business. She is tall, shes built like a brick shit house, and she is very athletic. I? ll never understand people who can? t wrap there heads around that wrestling ? technique? only gets you so far. Grant it Charlotte along with randy orton, Ted dibiase , and Cody Rhodes, among others, come prepackaged with the perfect back story but the onus is on them to tie it all together and Charlotte and Randy Orton did it better than anyone. In order to be the ? man? you have to beat the ? man? . And Charlotte is the wo(man)!

She is great on promos and is really good at telling a story in the ring. She is also an amazing heel and is one of the only wrestlers on the current roster that is able to get legitimate heat. 10/10.

I saw her debut televised match a month ago and I must say to be impressed would be a colossal understatement. She was able to use her gymnast abilities in the ring and at the same time was able to bring out her Fathers' own in-ring personality traits to the ring as well. At 5'10 she is obviously above the average height of most Diva's currently on the roster. So make no mistake she is here to stay and is willing to go the distance to reach those goals. My only concern however is her age. Charlotte is currently twenty-seven years of age and while Diva's like Tamina and Layla are already in their mid-thirties. Charlotte needs to head to the main roster soon, if not no later than mid-2014. She must in order to make a lasting impact to claim WWE Championship gold.

Her 1st NXT run was her taking to wrestling like a sponge but obviously still green. She really got going once she got to wrestle more and more main roster talent, she helped transition the division on TV along with others like Naomi, Nattie, The Bellas, and other 4HW from the Divas era to what they dubbed the Women's Revolution. Her character is really great to me and she's so believable because Ashley Filehr is very much Charlotte Flair, it seems she never fails to get reactions from the crowd or fans (Id say majority of it is good heat as some would argue different) as she plays the heel role better than any women's wrestler. Her feuds are great and compelling too. She has really great in-ring chemistry with Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and others. She has had her periods of phoning it in but frankly alot of wrestlers do at some point. I think writing this right now with Rousey as champion has made me realize just how great Charlotte Flair truly is.
