223.03.2022Conquistador376.0Seemed to be in Texas forrrreverrrrr. His look hasn't aged well and now he comes across as a sleazy bear looking for cubs to break in. *shudder*. Great heel to put your baby faces over! Always looked like microwaved hell and never had an ounce of "good guy" in him whatsoever, perfect. Drawbacks would be if he was going over in a squash, it wasn't much to watch and since he was around maybe too long, sometimes it was "oh boy, Tim Brooks, time to go make a sandwich". Flaws aside, I have a soft spot for the Waxahachie Wild Man.
303.08.2020jajt19896.0A wild brawler and dirty heel and was always trying to get his opposition dq'd for some ridiculous reason and was funny to watch
413.06.2019JEK 19917.0Underrated heel. He was well known in Detroit and Texas as a heel. His moves were decent. great at holds and takedowns. The leg drop was interesting but did not have an effect. Pioneer of hardcore wrestling. His promos were excellent. He was wild in the ring with his beard and long hair.
517.11.2016Bigchiefmartin6.0The Waxahachie Wild Man Killer Tim Brooks- his cousin is Dick Murdoch, but he really got his first big break in Detroit in the early 1970s under the Sheik. from the sheik He learned the craft of being a mid-card heel of which he was one of the most violent and brutal of his day. of which he was one of the most violent and brutal of his day. Killer Brooks effectively looked the role of a bad ass biker was 6'1 240-260 who with his big bushy beard and gressy thinning long hair with his many tattoos and smoking a cigar and black leather jacket. Perhaps more importantly he played the role because he was a legitimate tough bad ass Texan he was a Army MP in the early to mid 60's 1963-66, Brooks was a nasty gritty and tough guy brawler and got over strongly as a heel he was a fighter brawler who just caused chaos wild mayhem , now he was in a famous old org angle where he sold his NWA National Heavyweight Championship to Larry Zbyszko some time after winning it from Paul Orndorff. Then Larry gets stripped of the title and then has to win it in tournament, what he does do, WWF later does the angle but puts a different twist to it. , but he had very good to great runs in Portland, Texas, Georgia, Fla, Detroit Toronto and All-Japan, best friends with bruiser Brody and Roddy Piper who he was long time roommates with in Portland
628.12.2015mdkarl4.0I think I caught him past his before date during his time in Texas. He was never going to be in the main event picture for any promotion for long but this type of guy was going to have a spot as a top of the card tag team heel that could get some easy cheap heat from a crowd.
