[9.0] "Feel like I should throw in another rating here to help get the overall up slightly, because that 3.53 is in no way a reflection of his current work. Thomas Santell is well removed from the days of being part of an annoying jobber tag team for a cup of coffee in the WWE. He has massively improved his in-ring game, and completely reinvented himself in the inde wrestling scene. Him popping back up on Wrestling Open back in April was a more than welcomed surprise, and I hope that people take a chance on him and give him a lot more dates before he decides to call it a career."

[9.0] "Really changed things around with his nerd character in Beyond and other indies. Hopefully the pandemic didn't put him away from wrestling for good, but if it did, he definitely went out on a high note."

[7.0] "I think marks should have an expiration date, because his rankings from 10 years ago are completely irrelevant to the great act and the great wrestler he has become."

[7.0] "Echt wieder so ein Fall wo man sieht was falsche Gimmicks mit einem machen können. Also die Heart Throbs mochte ich echt nicht aber was man sieht das er sich weiterentwickelt hat und dieses Nerd Gimmick sofern es das ist da sieht man einfach der Mann kann gute Matches zeigen. Als Retrograppler hat er sich gefunden das funktioniert."

[8.0] "Who would see this coming. Santell has experienced a career resurgence in beyond this year and fans can? t get enough of him. He has an interesting gimmick and is a skilled mat wrestler, how could you not love him?"

[9.0] "The days of WWE's Heart-throbs should be long forgotten now, as Santell transforms into one of the most unexpectedly hot and enjoyable acts on the independent scene today. If you haven't seen this man recently, check him out in Beyond and many other places. A great technician who also excels with his new character, he's a real pleasure to watch."

[8.0] "Nerd! Nerd! Nerd! One of the biggest highlights of the year for me is discovering Thomas Santell. I didn't even recognize him from his Hearthrob days but I do recognize his talent. Excelled on the Uncharted Territory shows as a underdog face who keeps on winning. Great techiniation and great sell. Doesn't deserve a 2. 0 rating."

[6.0] "Antonio Thomas is best-known from his brief and largely unremarkable run in the WWE as half of the Heart Throbs, which is kind of unfortunate as he's better than the ratings from that run suggest. He's been a notable trainer in the New England area, and has worked for many notable companies outside WWE (including ROH, CHIKARA and All Japan). In recent years, he's largely landed in the East Coast Big Time Wrestling and developed a new character, the George McFly-inspired 1950s nerd Thomas Santell, which is a good deal of fun (boosted by Thomas' strong facial resemblance to Crispin Glover) and can work as either a face or heel character."

[4.0] "Not great, but passable as lowercard filler. The Hearthrobs team are a low-key unit that does the job, especially in local indy setting."

[3.0] "Er war der schwächere Teil der Heart Throbs, aber ich will auch nicht sagen, dass Romeo gut war. Im Ring war er eher unauffällig, sodass man ihn oft nicht bemerkt hat. Aber was ich ihm zugutehalten muss ist, dass er mir sympatisch war und auch Entertainment im Blut hat."

[8.0] "This will be controversial to those who don't know him. While he isn't the best talker, Antonio Thomas has trained almost half of the best talent to come from New England and is an excellent wrestler who spent time in Japan, WWE, and CHIKARA."

[7.0] "Antonio Thomas had one of the worst gimmicks possible in the WWE, however he isn't too bad of a wrestler. On the indie circuit, he has a significant amount of respect."

[6.0] "His WWE gimmick may have been a failure, but hes a damn good worker and well respected on the indy scene."

ABER das, was ich bisher von ihm gesehen habe (seine Indyauftritte), deckt sich überhaupt nicht mit den Bewertungen hier. "Schlecht im Ring" sieht ganz klar anders aus. Was ich bisher von ihm gesehen habe, war solides Grappling und Mattenwrestling. Ihn nur auf sein peinliches WWE Gimmick und das vermutlich damit verbundene in-ring Work zu reduzieren, tut ihm scheinbar Unrecht. Wieder mal ein Hinweis darauf, wie ein beschissenes Gimmick vieles verbauen kann. Red Rooster anyone?"

[0.0] "Sein Gimmick spricht mehr als Tausend Worte (waren die jetzt eigentlich Gimmick Schwul oder nicht? )"

[4.0] "Hatte mMn durchaus Potenzial, um sich zumindest in der sicheren Undercard oder in der unteren Midcard zu etablieren. Leider hat er sich kaum weiterentwickelt."

[0.0] "Kommt schon.. ein schwulen Gimmick, hat die Wrestling Welt nichts dazu gelernt?"

[4.0] "Er geht eigentlich im Ring. Was mich stört ist das rüber bringen seines Gimmicks. Inzwischen spielt er einen reichen Schnösel der alles hat und mit C-Promis feiert. Leider stellt er sich auch hier an und zeigt seine fehlenden Mic Fähigkeiten."

[2.0] "Gimmick in Raten erträglich. Im Ring unerträglich, egal in welchen Dosen!"

[2.0] "Konnte sich mit seinem Tag Team Partner (Romeo) nie richtig in der WWE durchsetzen!"

[4.0] "Okay, das Lustige-Tunte... Pardon Lustiger-Metrosexueller-Gimmick ist ein alter Hut. Aber die Throbs machen das beste draus und bringen mich durchaus zum Schmunzeln. Aber im Ring schon derbe schwach."
