[7.0] "WWE let English's potential be squandered in two great tag teams. The Vaudevillains were a good throwback team in NXT but crashed and burned on the main roster like most callups. Rusev Day let English shine with his voice mic skills and good in ring abilities. The they ruin it because it was getting over more than they wanted it. He was always better as a tag guy than a singles competitor. His commentary was also really good."

[7.0] "An incredibly talented wrestler. He has everything: a good ring skill, good look, he is convincing on the mic (partly he owes this to his unforgettable voice, which later made him an interesting commentator). I was always a big fan of Vaudevillains, but after the team broke up, I was convinced that Aiden is very good as solo performer too."

[5.0] "A very good manager but a fairly average wrestler. His Tag Team run at NXT was fun but on the main roster it was a run to forget."

[6.0] "Guy's just not very good overall. He's a good hand and can talk, but his ring work just isn't anything worth a damn in singles, and in tags he's consistently known as a supporting act, not the main guy if that makes any sense. Vaudevillains were a fun stint but it wasn't destined to be anything near the main event, through they were a solid mid-card act for the time and clearly had a niche going for them. He's just not intimidating in a wrestling context: he's tall but awkwardly thin: making it hard to believe he could convincingly beat up people who are way bigger and stronger, making him lead more of a manager role than a wrestling one, which I feel his talent really lies in."

[6.0] "While he isn't anything super special as a wrestler, he is a talented manager who adapts to the roll that he needs to fit in."

[8.0] "He could have been the next Nigel McGuinness in commentating. His voice, his analysis of the match was on the level of the NXT commentators but sadly he was released too soon."

[6.0] "His in-ring work has never been impressive at all but his recent time spent with Rusev has been a solid showcase of his good mic skills."

[4.0] "I've now seen Aiden wearing multiple hats during his time in WWE & I've not really ever been impressed with what he's brought to the table. His singing gimmick felt too 1995... his act as a Vaudevillian was goofy... and currently as a commentator he does little to sell me on the action. His in ring work was never terrible, but I didn't find it all that great either. Whenever he was on a card, I would always just hope for his match to finish quickly so someone more interesting could come out."

[7.0] "A good commentator, has good mic skills, but lacks in the in-ring department. However, he does his best in-ring work in tag team competition. He also played a good mouth piece when he was paired with Rusev."

[7.0] "He should have been given a push after Simon Gotch left. A singles push instead of wasting him away in a tag team with Rusev."

[7.0] "Aiden has never really been a good singles guy but where he really shines is in tag teams. He is a solid in ring worker with an amazing voice which is probably why the gave him commentary duties."

[6.0] "He? s pretty fun. I thought he was going to flounder after Gotch left but luckily that hasn? t been the case thanks to his work with Rusev."

[10.0] "This guy is pure gold. He's got the look, the skills, and basically everything it takes to be a star.. Such a shame how underrated he is."

[7.0] "Well, a good wrestler overally. WWE saw something on him back in 2012 and that random development addition to FCW is paying off right now on the WWE main roster, as English is (was, because they deserve something more at this point) having a really good time with Rusev. Extremely over, he has a nice voice and he celebrates Rusev Day. What else? Let's hope that they give him a little chance to remain in the mid card without jobbing too much."

[6.0] "Solid in the ring and was good as part of the Vaudevillains but I am really loving him being a mouth piece for Rusev currently, more of English & Rusev please."

[8.0] "Ich finde ihn einfach klasse. Schon damals, als er mit Simon Gotch das Tag Team "Vaudevilians" bildete, fand ich ihn sehr gut. Umso mehr war ich enttäuscht, als sie das Team unter ihrem Wert verkauften und es getrennt wurde, weil ich dachte, dass Aiden English in die Versenkung landen würde. Sein Gesangsgimmick war schon immer ein Klassiker und an der Seite von Rusev finde ich ihn noch besser als mit Simon Gotch."

[10.0] "Aiden English has great selling. He is awesome in the ring. He is amazing in the mic. Rusev and Aidens Rusev Day gimmick is over in the crowd. They are one of the most underrated talents right now in Smackdown Live Or even the whole WWE. Aiden English is so amazing."

[8.0] "Solider Wrestler, der einen tollen Run an der Seite von Simon Gotch bei NXT hatte. Im Main Roster dann leider nach anfänglichem Hype zum Jobber-Team mutiert. Mal sehen, was man aus Aiden English alleine machen wird/kann. Das Gimmick aus seiner Anfangszeit wieder hervor zu holen halte ich für einen Fehler, lasse mich aber gerne eines besseren belehren. Er hat definitiv das Zeug da was draus zu machen. 7 Punkte. // Sein Sänger-Gimmick an der Seite von Rusev, aber auch Solo finde ich sehr unterhaltsam. Dafür bekommt er dann einen Punkt mehr und somit 8!"

[8.0] "I don? t understand how people praise Dolph Ziggler as being one of the most underrated Superstars when Aiden English is for the most part, better than him. Now I? m not saying Dolph is bad, quite the opposite, he is good, but Aiden English is just phenomenal at selling and he is great with working the crowd on the mic, one of the best talkers right now imo. His ring work isn? t the greatest, but it? s still very solid. Hopefully, WWE will pull the trigger on English and put him a Y2J-esque position, going and dominating the US title scene. 8/10"

[6.0] "It's almost like Gotch's departure was a godsend for English. He's been able to garner regular TV time with his natural acting range, melodious pipes and extremely fluid chemistry with Rusev. In the ring, English is solid. He's got a clean offense, he's a good bumper, and he can make a match flow well, especially in tag situations. It remains to be seen if he can get over (as Rusev maybe 97% of why Rusev Day is over) but for a guy who was a fringe jobber after his partner left -- he's clearly riding a wave of momentum."

[9.0] "Nach tollem NXT-Run mit den Vaudevillains ist English im Main Roster leider ziemlich schnell in der Versenkung verschwunden. Zum Glück konnte er sich dort im Singles Bereich relativ gut akklimatisieren, denn English ist ein wahnsinnig unterbewerteter Worker. Ein tolles Maß auf Charisma trifft hier auf tolle Wrestling-Skills der alten Schule, zudem mit mehr als ordentlichem Mic-Work gesegnet. Wird zwar in Stamford nie für die Uppercard reichen, jedoch traue ich ihm durchaus zu, eine Konstante der Midcard zu werden."

[8.0] "When Simon Gotch requested his release from WWE, you'd have probably thought English was destined to job on Main Event/Superstars for the next year before being released. It's a credit to him that he's been able to get regular television time with the entertaining singing gimmick and has established a memorable unlikely report with Rusev that's gotten very over. Usually pretty impressive in the ring, English is a while away from being in any marquee singles matches let alone wins but is clearly a very capable tag team specialist."

[10.0] "Aiden English by far is one of the most underrated talents in the WWE today. He should get the push he deserved since The Vaudevillains split up, his "Rusev Day" gimmick is getting boring now, He should be US Champ. He's so much better than just a manager for Rusev. Great in Mic, good in ring, but WWE ruined his talent."

[8.0] "Aiden English was the more enjoyable member of the Vaudevillains that had not been given a proper chance on the main roster. That is now different since the release of Simon Gotch, as English as now went back to a gimmick similar to his gimmick in 2013 and 2014 as a singles wrestler. He is also very solid in the ring and has the charisma to make himself a top mid-card heel. Hopefully his storyline with Rusev will lead to that."

[6.0] "Ich finde Aiden English eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht. Im Ring ist er solide und hat gutes Selling. Am Mic ist er nicht so gut, allerdings hat er neuerdings schon etwas Charisma durch seine Segmente gewonnen. Leider sehe ich in der WWE für ihn keinen Push in der Zukunft. Von mir bekommt er 6 von 10 Punkten"

[7.0] "Wenn er die Gelegenheit bekommt, kann er überzeugen. Es ist noch weit davon entfernt ein Main-Eventer zu werden, aber er ist schließlich auch erst 29 Jahre alt. Was nicht ist, kann schließlich noch werden. Mich unterhält er gut, egal ob am Mic oder im Ring. Simon Gotch war für seine Karriere eher eine Bremse. Ich finde ihn in der Singles Division besser."

[6.0] "I think if English broke away from Simon Gotch, he would be an awesome mid-carder for the next number of years. His gimmick prior to teaming with Gotch, was a snobby Broadway star and it fit him perfectly. He's got the charisma and seems to have the ring skills. Sure English is a bit skinny, but who cares about that really"

[6.0] "Mic: Ja, das ist nicht schlecht für sein Gimmick 7/10 Ring: Naja ist auch ganz ok 5, 5/10 Gimmick u. Promos: Nicht so mein Fall aber mal etwas neues und das finde ich gut, 2 mal 6, 5/10 =6, 4"

[5.0] "Ich finde ihn im Ring eigentlich ganz gut aber er ist leider total belanglos . Denke mit einem Push könnte das klappen"

[7.0] "He's solid on the mic and in the ring, and had a great character in NXT that has sadly lost its touch with the main roster."

[7.0] "Aiden English hat einen einzigartigen Look und das auch schon vor der Zeit als ein Teil der Vaudevillians. Sein In-Ring-Stil ist ebenfalls nicht von der Stange und durchaus technisch anspruchvsoll und sauber. Charisma ist vorhanden, lässt ihn aber nur als Heel glaubwürdig worken. Schade, dass man einen so brauchbaren In-Ring-Worker und Entertainer zum Jobber in einem ungewürdigten Team verkommen lässt."

[7.0] "Aiden is solid both in-ring and on mic, and portrays a great heel. But unfortunatelly, i don't see him go anywhere in WWE. Neither him or Simon will ever really get over with either Vince or crowd."

[3.0] "Kein schlechter Wrestler. Ist im Ring agil und hat auch einige brauchbare Moves. Allerdings ist er genauso wie sein Partner am Micro wirklich schwach. Zudem hat das Tag Team keinerlei Profil und ist sowas von langweilig und irrelevant. Mehr als Jobber ist höchstwahrscheinlich bei der WWE für ihn und seinen Partner nicht drin."

[7.0] "I'm not a big fan of the Vaudevillians but English carries the team in my opinion. English is much better in the ring and on the mic than Gotch."

[5.0] "Er ist in jedem Bereich ein Stück besser als sein Partner, im Ring sogar ein ganzes Stück. Mehr gibt's zu Aiden English nicht zu sagen, außer das auch bei ihm die Zukunft nicht gut aussieht."

[6.0] "The Vaudevillains gimmick saved Aiden English, though we'll see if it has any lasting power on the main roster. Either way, though, English is a competent technical wrestler whose understated humor and promo skills keep him entertaining. It's impressive how far he's come, considering that he hasn't been long in the business. I tend to prefer Gotch as a worker, but English is a solid hand, and there's really nothing to complain about in terms of his performance."

[7.0] "He is pretty impressive since he has barely had any wrestling experience before WWE and in my opinion he is the stronger of the Vaudevillians. He can pull of a beautiful swanton bomb. He is a good technician and is probably the best wrestler on the mic today. Overall I think he is a great tag team wrestler who has a good future on the main roster."

[7.0] "Ein guter In-Ring Worker, gut am Mic und verkörpert alle Gimmicks die er hatte gut, als Vaudevillian gefällt er mir gerade auch sehr gut. Main Eventer ist er natürlich nicht aber dennoch ein weit mehr als solides Gesamtpaket, das mich immer wieder unterhält"

[10.0] "Very Underrated... He has Charisma and good in ring skills so I hope WWE doesn't turn him into a jobber..."

[5.0] "Er ist ein wenig schlechter als sein Tag-Partner meiner Meinung nach. Eigentlich hält er sich in allen relevanten Werten um die 5 auf. Ein klassischer Fall von befriedigend."

[9.0] "I'm very high on Aiden English as a singles performer, I do appreciate his tag team work but I would love it if they would let him sing if he were to ever take a shot at the main roster. Please, let this man sing his way up the card, he has the voice of an angel. :)"

[7.0] "Er gefällt mir sehr, hatte als Sänger sehr viel Charisma und auch das Tag Team passt, dazu ein guter Techniker aber er wird wohl keinen Sprung nach oben schaffen."

[6.0] "Good charisma and mic skills, satisfactory in the ring. He is a nice tag team wrestler, but I think that he wil not take many."

[5.0] "Sorta of an awkward wrestler. Promos and Character are a great fit for him, but his sentons are a bit creepy. Not a huge fan but he is an alright NXT superstar."

[6.0] "Aiden English ist im Tag Team der Vaudevillains perfekt aufgehoben. Ein ordentlicher In-Ring-Worker, der seine Moves sauber ausführt, ohne dabei irgendwie besonders zu wirken. Dafür in der Darstellung seines Charakters (schon vor dem Team mit Gotch) großartig und nicht übel am Mic. Wenn es die Vaudvillains nicht geben würde, dann würde er vermutlich jobben - von daher hoffe ich nicht, dass man auf die Idee kommt, das Team aufzulösen. Der derzeitige Run als NXT Tag Champs ist mehr als verdient, das Team dürfte für beide Mitglieder auch die einzige Möglichkeit sein, in die Hauptshows aufzusteigen."

[8.0] "Ziemlich unfähig im Ring, unterhält mich nicht, hat aber nicht allzu wenig Charisma. Erstmal 3 Punkte, er muss sich vor allem in Sachen Ringfähigkeit deutlich steigern. Für mich aber definitiv keiner, der jemals in die Hauptshows sollte. UPDATE: Auch er hat sich stark verbessert, so dass ich auch bei ihm eine große Aufwertung vornehme. Genauso wie Gotch im Single-Bereich wohl eher ohne Durchsetzungskraft - im Team allerdings große Klasse."

[6.0] "Finde ihn im Ring jetzt nicht so schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Muss aber zugeben zu Beginn seiner NXT & FCW Karriere habe ich gedacht, OMG der wird mal ein richtger Jobber, aber nichts wars er bekommt seine Chancen bei NXT und darf auch ab und an mal ein stolpper Stein für die Großen sein und im Team mit Simon Gotch ist er super aufgehoben."

[6.0] "Aiden English has found something in The Vaudevillians. It was obvious from the start that he was not going to work out as a singles guy. His gimmick, an actor, was plain dumb, and there is really nothing impressive about his physique or movies. However, he does have serious charisma. He's great on the mic. Also, his work with Simon Gotch is very impressive. They counter one another very well, and the gimmick is fun and one that works. Since I am rating him as a singles wrestler, 6/10 feels fair. However, I think in terms of tag team action, English grades out much higher."

[7.0] "Ich fand ihn schon zur seiner Jobber Zeit bei NXT irgendwie sympathisch. Sein solo Run mit dem Sänger Gimmick war ordenlich. Nun im Tag Team mit Gotch ganz großes Comedy Gold. Im Ring grund solide."

[6.0] "Ich finde ihn eigentlich ganz durchschnittlich. Führt seine Moves sauber aus- aber nichts, was einem jetzt vom Hocker hauen würde. Sein Grimmick ist was anderes. Es ist gut, aber mich hauts jetzt nicht so um wie andere"

[6.0] "Ich finde das Musical-Gimmick genial und denke, dass Aiden English großes Potential für die Main-Shows hat. Ich habe aber große Angst davor, dass er Opfer von Vinces infantilem Humor wird und ebenso wie Sandow die Niveau-Toilette runtergespült wird. Es muss für solche Charaktere auch mal möglich sein humorvoll sein zu dürfen, ohne lächerlich dargestellt zu werden. Aber das ist ja erst mal Zukunftsmusik. Aiden English bringt jedenfalls alles mit um sich abzusetzen und sein Wrestling ist zumindest solide genug, um den Charakter zu verkaufen. Auch wenn es hier noch einiger Twists bedarf, um auch wrestlerisch aufzufallen. - Update 08/2014: Habe ihn von 8 auf 6 abgestuft. Immer noch ein witziger Comedy-Charakter, auch wenn sein Partner das Team trägt, aber in der jetzigen Form deutlich uninteressanter für mich."

[5.0] "He plays his role well, he is not a bad singer though i think the songs they gave him were very simplistic but straight to the point, he has the right looks for what he does and i think since he's been a part of the vandevallians that his character has been a bit outshined but it's all fine and dandy since every character needs a bit of a repackaging every now and then, in the ring he's been an ok guy to watch 5/10."

[5.0] "Interesting character, but doesn't leave much of an impression in the ring. Hopefully, he'll get a chance to prove he can wrestle as well as he sings."

[4.0] "Der gute Aiden hat bislang zumindest erreicht, dass er sich alleine durch die Einzigartigkeit seines Entrances vom Bodenbelag des NXT-Rosters absondert. Im Ring kommt da bislang noch nicht sonderlich viel. Vom Main Roster sehe ich ihn jedenfalls noch lange nicht bereit."

[6.0] "Aiden English ist in meinen Augen einer dieser "Naja-Wrestler". Sein Gimmick ist weltklasse, besonders seine Entrance finde ich mehr als nur genial und einzigartig. Seine In-Ring Fähigkeiten sind ausbaufähig, sehe aber noch Potenzial und eine leichte Tendenz nach oben ist ebenfalls zu sehen. Seine Mic-Skills sind stark, aber ein guter Wrestler muss auch gut im Ring sein. Da er noch ein Devolopment-Guy ist und ich noch Potenzial sehe, gebe ich dem Aiden zunächst einmal 6 Punkte."

[7.0] "Er ist ein Mann mit großem Potential. Charisma und gute In-Ring Skills sind gegen und wenn er seine Chancen in Zukunft kriegt und dann auch nutzt wird aus ihm ein guter WWE-Star."

[5.0] "Great gimmick, kudos to him for making it work so well. Good look also and seems ok in the ring. My rating should go up in the next months."

[8.0] "Total package, I can't wait for this guy to make it up to the main roster. There's so many different things you can do with him, he would mesh well with Damien Sandow or Fandango as well. The only thing that drives me crazy is his name, the first name Aiden isn't old school enough for him they should have used a name such as Arthur, Clive or Montgomery. Love the unique gimmick and think he is extremely gifted on the microphone."

[7.0] "Was das Mikrofon angeht auf jeden fall einer der besten bei NXT im Ring kann man jedoch nicht allzu viel von ihm sagen da seine Matches meist sehr kurz sind. Jedoch denke ich hat er viel potenzial."

[9.0] "I've always liked Aiden English since he made his FCW TV debut last year and cut his only promo he cut there at that point. I always thought that he was a good worker in the ring too when given the proper chance to show what he can do. But now that he's a heel and he's changed his gimmick to being nicknamed, "The Artiste" and he's getting more NXT TV time to cut great promos and wrestle in the ring, he's winning me over more and more now because he has a gimmick unlike anything we've seen before in wrestling and because of how well he acts out his persona, it's obvious that this gimmick is tailor made for him! I love everything about Aiden English and his current gimmick from his gear, to singing on the way down to the ring, to his work in the ring, to his encore singing whenever he wins his matches! The whole 9 yards!"

[7.0] "Im Ring ordentlich, außerhalb des Rings mächtig unterhaltend. Sein Entrance allein bei NXT dürfte einer der besten sein, die ich je bei WWE gesehen habe."

[5.0] "Noch nicht so überzeugt, aber was noch nicht ist, kann ja noch werden."

[5.0] "Bis jetzt nur n Jobber aber ich mag seine Präsenz. Der Kerl verkauft sich gut, sein Selling kann man bisher ja bereits ganz gut beurteilen, so oft wie der weggesquasht wird aber mal im Ernst. Das was ich gesehen habe hat mich durchaus zufrieden gestellt. Daher ist ein "befriedigend" wohl angebracht. Da man noch nicht mehr von Ihm gesehen hat gibts einen kleinen Punktabzug. Vielleicht kommt da ja mal was?"
