The absolute total package of a wrestling persona: Completely over the top in the best way possible, loud and brash and confident but stopping just short of being obnoxious, works perfectly as both a face and a heel without having to change much, can work at any level of the card, has every nuance nailed down. The pageantry, the insane ad-libbed promos during his entrance, his interactions with The Boys, they all gel together perfectly to form one of the most unique and enjoyable gimmicks ever. Castle's also incredibly impressive in the ring: A master technician and freakishly strong. It's so entertaining watching Castle just deadlift 300-pound dudes and toss them over his head. Like I said, Dalton Castle (and The Boys) should be appearing consistently on AEW TV, and not being wasted as an occasional Jobber to the Stars. |
