[8.0] "Perhaps the best wrestler in Germany at the moment. He has the size, the athleticism, the superstar look, and is well-rounded in the ring. I feel like wXw made a huge mistake by not booking him in higher-profile matches while they still had a stacked roster. Al-Ani could have had fantastic matches with the likes of WALTER, Dragunov, Starr, Thatcher, etc. Instead, they waited until the pandemic era to push him when they had a depleted roster. As such, a lot of his best matches are from his tag days with Absolute Andy."

[6.0] "2020: Had I written this review in 2017 I'd say he is one of the most exciting talents in Europe. Unfortunately he has regressed dramatically and hasn't lived up to any of that promise. A fine in-ring worker but abysmal on the microphone. 2021 rerate: Al-Ani finally found his working boots. Great year."
