[5.0] "Dude was a monster in the 80's but personal tragedy destroyed his spirits. By 1991/1992 WCW, he was a shell of his former self and a stiff match with Vader injured him out of the business."
[7.0] "I think I'm on board with everything, except when he went off the roids and had that haircut that made him look like a brunette Bart Simpson (awful). Played heel and face roles very well, made the most of his limitations. Those promos though, yiiikes. Underrated early 90's WCW material, strong hand in tag matches."
[7.0] "Not a bad wrestler. Great at takedowns and punches. A bit limited in the ring. Not too crazy about him or interesting. His mic skills and promos are great. His career was short but memorable in NWA/WCW."
[4.0] "Not a good worker, or even a decent one, Nikita still had his character over and was a great heel. But his aura was down to his size, and once he got off the gas, he lost the size that both gave him his aura and camouflaged his limited ability."
[9.0] "Really liked him. He was so over as a heel, they made him a baby face. Great in ring charisma and crowd connection. Interviews were OK, but he was supposed to be a menace, a destroyer, not a talker. Could handle a brawl, a power match or a technical exchange. Six man tags with the Road Warriors left him a little overshadowed, that cost him a point."
[6.0] "great body... hot gimmick for 2 years nikita was pushed to the moon but he never learnt how to really sell or connect to the crowd. when his novelty wore off his career was dead. was bankable at the top for better part of 2 years though when he was being protected in tagteams and playing the russian menace"
[8.0] "Nikita Koloff was a new kind of evil foreign heel when he debuted. Up until that time the majority of them were big, bulky wrestlers that didn't look physically intimidating, but Nikita looked like a destroyer. He had the muscles and the look a decade before Goldberg. Nikita Koloff looked like he could and probably would destroy the American hero. His matches against Flair and the Rock and Roll Express are great and his feud with Magnum T. A. is legendary."
[8.0] "Nikita hatte einfach dieses typische Russen Gimmick, was mir total gefiel. Am meisten gesehen habe ich von ihm in Universal Wrestling Federation, kurz UWF. Er war überzeugend, ein solider Powerhouse mit extrem viel Charisma."
[6.0] "Einer der Gnaden- und Rücksichtslosesten, die man überhaupt jemals in diesem Business gesehen hat! Erinnere mich da an seine zahlreichen Matches aus der WCW, auch im Käfig gegen Flair usw."
