423.02.2024Junior Ruthless8.0Got a bad rep from stuff he said in podcast. But I forgive him. The promo with Cena is the funniest stuff I have seen in main stream wresrling. And when Kendrick hits thst sliced bread numero dos! That's bonkers!

1008.12.2023BlackMachismo20079.0Super underrated. He deserves a lot more than he has been given. Incredibly talented, a great technician, and able to have a great match with just about everyone. Love his match with Kota in the Cruiserweight Classic. Was really excited for his match with Moxley until all the stuff came out. I still think he's great and that he deserves another shot in a big company. Just because he said some stupid stuff 10 years ago doesn't mean that's who he is now. I met him at a convention once and he seemed pretty remorseful about it. I really want to see him have a match with Danielson before they both hang it up.

1317.11.2023JediSaiyanMaster12037.0Had a great run in the tag team division with his partner, Paul London, who were WWE's Tag Team Champions for a very lengthy run in a time where small wrestlers weren't as valued as they are today. Aside from that, had some moments here and there as a singles guy, but never made it as a main eventer. Overall, arguably a pioneer in the business who was a very good wrestler, not exactly the most charismatic, but made up for it when he got in the ring.

2501.06.2023Giantfan19805.0Had a lot of potential for the cruiswerweight division in his early days and I liked him in the team with Paul London. After that, they tried a lame singles push in 2009 that just sucked. But the mid 2000's was entertaining.

2902.05.2023Cosmolore9.0Brian Kendrick is a great storyteller and technician, he's not as agile as he was back in his younger days but he greatly compensages with his creativity, charisma and selling.

3118.02.2023Conquistador374.0This opinion subject to change: I vaguely remember his early aughts stuff when I could catch it (life was crazy then). I didn't like the kid then and felt he was taking up time probably better used for others. Many years later I caught him at an independent show out in SoCal and the whole show was almost absolutely awful, Kendrick was NOT a saving grace (John Hennigan was though). I can now watch his debut in the WWE via Peacock and at least by this point I find joy in watching him lose. Maybe he will grow on me, that's why I prefaced the review.

4308.09.2022Spanky9.0Brian Kendrick is one of the few wrestlers that I genuinely consider to be underrated. Given his short frame and small body, it was easy to assume that young Spanky would not make it in the business. However, Kendrick defied the odds and made a solid career for himself in the land of the giants WWE with his equally small but incredibly talented partner Paul London. Kendrick could work any styles he needed to. From babyface high-flying to heelish grappling. Kendrick opened a lot of doors for cruiserweight wrestlers to go to the WWE. He was truly ahead of his time. He now runs a wrestling school where he helps, trains, and prepares the next generation of wrestling. (plus my inmate username is Spanky, this doesn't affect his rating but it was so good i decided to use it 20 years later.)

7410.03.2021KyleEnjoysWrestling7.0Very gifted in the ring. Even as Spanky I could tell there was a lot there. Had a great tag run with London at a time when WWE didn't give two hoots about the tag division. Had a very cool look when he became The Brian Kendrick, which ultimately was cut short before it had enough time to flourish. Had a good comeback story during the Cruiserweight Tournament.
7507.03.2021texasyosh7.0The man with a plan, THE Brian Kendrick has always been a dependable worker, and one of the best cruiserweights. He was in one of the best tag teams of the Ruthless Aggression era, with Paul London.

9204.07.2020Ma Stump Puller8.0Kendrick was easily a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. His physical prime came in a time where the top companies were focusing more on size and mass rather than pure wrestling talent, of which he had in spades and then some. Through he got a bit of limelight in ROH at the very beginning, he never really got the chance to show off his abilities. The closest he ever got to that was during his massively underrated 2008 heel run as "The" Brian Kendrick, which showcased his surprisingly impressive mic skills and ability to get a crowd to hate his guts. Kendrick was great at pushing the buttons of any crowd he was in, either inside of the ring with his cowardly heel tactics or outside with his drawn out and overly pretentious promos. Even at the twilight of his career, he's still able to be one of the few guys on 205 Live to actually have a personality, and his match with Ibushi was very good, and showcased that Kendrick could hang with the new guys despite his physical shortcomings.

9704.05.2020Acetylsalicilique10.0Such an underrated wrestler. I feel like if he was ten years younger, this would be the perfect moment for him to break through, as creative minds such as his are thriving right now. He just transitioned from a fun spot monkey to a brilliant ring tactician so well. He sells a gimmick like nobody's business. He just has that magnetic charisma that will always make absolutely love him. One of my favorite wrestlers ever.
