[10.0] "I was always a very big fan of Essa Rios back in the day. Mostly known as Mr. Aguila these days, I am surprised since his days at CMLL in 2017 that he hasn't done a whole lot with any of the major Mexican organisations. He's only 45. I feel like he should be in the conversation with those great luchadores from history, in the same breath as Rey Mysterio, Psychosis, Juvi, LA Parka, etc. It just so happened that he was on the side of the war that didn't really care for their WWF Light Heavyweight Title."
[7.0] "Was a very good high-flyer and cruiserweight in general but his punches and kicks looked very weak. His versions of the shooting star press, 450 and moonsault were one of the best tho."
[6.0] "The fact that he barely even got a taste of the light heavyweight title is frustrating. Solid in the WWF in the late 90s with some pretty crazy spots"
[8.0] "One of the greatest high flyers of all time. He was always exciting to watch. Remember watching him in the Attitude era. He deserved the light heavyweight title. Also he brought in Lita."
[4.0] "Aguila could do some incredible highspots in his heyday, but beyond that, he didn't have anything, and even with experience he's still lacking in a lot of things."
[7.0] "it's been many years since i've seen him compete and as a lot of others that was in WWE alongside Lita as Essa Rios. A great addition to the Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight Division that never really got anywhere in the company unfortunately."
[9.0] "Unbelievably underrated, and possibly just born into the wrong era. He carried himself great, was athletic as just about anyone I've seen, and did some wild spots in his athletic prime. Worst thing I can say for him is he tried to be so smooth and fluid early on that he sometimes ended up being a bit sloppy and could have hurt someone. But he did slow down a bit in 2001, and hit his moves a lot cleaner. Unfortunately, WWE was never going to do much with him, and I don't think he aged as well as many; a lot of high fliers find different ways to get it done just as well as they get older, and I just don't feel his work was ever as spectacular in his 30s."
[8.0] "A really good worker... have gotten more chances by wwe in 2000 where was one time wwe lightweight champion.. since leaving wwe he have spent most of his career in CMLL and in Mexican indie circuit."
