[10.0] "One of the greatest matches of all time and still in my opinion the greatest G1 final ever, which is saying a lot. Brilliant character work and a masterclass on surpassing your limits. Tanahashi's last climb to the top of NJPW meets Kota Ibushi's seemingly inevitable destiny of being the companies top star. This match is amazing. It's an epic match that doesn't try to be epic, it just happens organically. So many unforgettable moments; Tanahashi willing himself through "Murder Ibushi's" shoot strikes, Ibushi hitting that nasty moonsault with the double knees, Tanahashi still hitting picture perfect bridging Dragon and Straight Jacket suplexes passed age 40. Ibushi hitting that spider middle rope German Suplex, Tanahashi hitting the nastiest Sling Blade ever. All of it is so perfect. The wise old veteran against the rising star who worships the ground he walks on but also knows it's his time. And if he has to destroy his idol, he's willing to do so. But Tanahashi flat out will not be beaten. The story is great and it's simple and it just works on so many levels. Nobody displays emotion without ever seeming corny or not genuine to the level that Tanahashi does. This match is legendary. 2018 was a legendary year. *****"

[10.0] "I loved this match. It is the pinnacle of what stories mean in professional wrestling. One of the best matchs in the history of this business. I understand that there are people who don't like it. But that there are people who hate him, I can't understand that. It is WWE at its best, in any case, this match will go down in history as one of the best ME in the history of WM. Only perhaps surpassed by the ME of WM17 between Stone Cold vs The Rock. Cody's coronation, the end of Roman's historic reign, Rollins sacrificing himself, The rock, Cena and Undertaker's interventions. Uffff Beautiful Match and a conclusion at the height of this epic story (both for the technical level they demonstrated, and for the level of epicness they offered)."

[8.0] "Very pleasantly surprised with how good this match was, especially for a throwaway tag. Sayaka continues to be my favourite Stardom rookie, and her selling and physicality here really impressed me. This served as a nice showcase match for her, I think she has a great future as an underdog babyface in the Kamitani / babyface SLK mold. Saya was great as a cocky vet against Sayaka, absorbing her shots and giving it back tenfold. Yunamon also had nice flashes as Sayaka's mentor. Miyu and Sayaka had the real meat of the match towards the end, and her rise to prominence in QQ continues to be a nice story to follow. There were a couple of really convincing near falls towards the end, adding to the drama. Overall, great match!"

[10.0] "How do I put into words my appreciation for my favorite wrestling match of all time? The year was 2017 and by this time in my life, Wrestle Kingdom was my Christmas. I had always been a fan of NJPW but more from tapes of the 90's stuff than the current product. Then, around 2012 I started checking out NJPW because I was hearing about Hiroshi Tanahashi and these insane G1 tournaments and I was in. For almost 5 years I tried to get people to check out NJPW but I couldn't get through to anyone until the Wrestling Gods gifted us this masterpiece that could serve as the bridge to expose NJPW to the western commercial world. A rivalry born purely out of competition of sport; the biggest stage possible and two stars that absolutely break the world with a revolutionary blend of athleticism; in-ring story telling, drama and high spots. I've talked about the pageantry that exists in Pro Wrestling; unforgettable epic entrances by both guys. Kenny Omega; the Terminator and G1 Climax winner. And of course; Kazuchika Okada, the new ace and unbeatable champion. Nobody moves quite like Omega in the ring, the momentary twitchy explosiveness meets Okada's calm confidence. This match is literally everything; the table spot was horrifying; Omega's top rope Dragon Suplex was diabolical, Okada's dropkick defies physics and Kenny Omega shouldn't be able to move this way for a guy his size. Nobody sells the Rainmaker as a devastating finisher like Omega and nobody brings out the sleeping emotion inside Okada like Omega. An exhilarating closing stretch including all of the legendary spots that would be further expanded upon in the later matches of this epic rivalry. The opening chapter to all time greatness. Favorite match ever."

[6.0] "The only match I remember watching live other than the last two matches. It was a fun match. I met Senza Volto and Mike Bailey at the break."

[7.0] "Another great match, codebreaker reversal to win was great. AJ showing why he is technically one of the best ever but why did he not get the win here?"

[4.0] "I mean, I get it. The whole concept of this match was to make Jade look good. That's their big money investment, I get it. But being a big Asuka fan, it saddens me to see her lose another Mania match. And what's the point of the women's tag team championships again?"

[6.0] "A "meh" shoot-style match between Tony St. Clair and Yoshihiro Takayama. I've never really watched wrestling of this genre and I feel like this might be a bad place to start, but oh well."

[5.0] "The generic flippy guys team (no offence, but when you group them together like that...) really had no business going the distance with an actual faction and one that's supposed to be a big bad threat but this was still very entertaining regardless of that."

[6.0] "This was just to reheat Shibata. You could argue going ten minutes with Lee Moriarty isn't the best way to do that but I think they made it work here. Honestly I could go for some Shibata squashes and just building him up as the Terminator."

[5.0] "Not bad for a five minute match. Practically a squash but I still found it worthwhile. Garcia isn't high enough on the card to justify a complete squash on Angelico, they probably could've got more out of this if they wanted."

[5.0] "Unless I missed something, this was the first match of the AEW and Stardom collab, right? Kind of a soft start to the partnership but also sets the expectations accordingly I think. This was alright but nothing remarkable. Toni Storm didn't do any of the stuff that derails her matches with the Timeless gimmick but she's still not the most interesting worker. AZM looked good for her debut on TV."

[7.0] "Nice faction warfare match. This wasn't just a standard tag, they actually tried some cool stuff here. Collision should really carve out its niche for that kind of thing."

[5.0] "A boring kick-and-punch brawl between an early Finlay and Tony St. Clair. Maybe I would have liked it more if I wasn't watching it through grainy VHS fan footage, probably not, who knows."

[8.0] "Both look impressive in combination. It's a bout full of craziness, with some spot that you don't see often"

[10.0] "in my opinion the best of the trilogy even at almost an hour it never felt too long or dragged, the fact that two of the best technical wrestlers of the modern era were the ones to go 50 mins probably helps that. By this point Danielsons heel persona is fully developed when one thinks of "ROH Bryan Danielson" this is the Danielson you are probably thinking (9.5)"

[0.0] "One of the worst WrestleMania matches of all time. I've been saying it all along, neither Uso is good enough to have a singles career. I don't get all the hype and crowd support Jey's been getting recently. Both have extremely limited movesets (Punch, Superkick, Spear, Samoan Drop, Splash, and did I say SUPERKICK? ). I hope they put them back together again as soon as possible. This was like viewing a bad Young Bucks match."

[8.0] "How has nobody rated this yet ? Great title fight to a 30 minute draw. Umesaki does a great job fighting upwards the bigger champion. She does nail some nice throws and suplexes."

[5.0] "Man... I really wanted to love this, but it was extreme underwhelming. On paper it looked like Flair and Steiner would mesh really well, but in practice they appeared to have no chemistry whatsoever. The match layout was clunky, and far removed from Flair's classic bouts with Luger and Sting. In fact, Flair was in control for the majority of the match. This makes enough sense on paper considering he was the champion, but when you factor in how giving Flair often is with his other opponents, as well as how much Steiner relies on being able to manhandle his opponents, it really undermined Scott for him to be fairly easily controlled for such a significant portion of the match. This could have still been workable, but matters were made worse by how flat Steiner was whenever he would attempt a comeback. He had nowhere near the explosivity of a Luger or a Sting here. I'm not sure if Flair was reluctant to take much of Steiner's offence, but he barely had anything in the way of his trademark suplexes and slams, instead largely having to settle for simple clotheslines (which again... Luger and Sting were both far more energized and impactful taking that approach in their matches with Flair). The final minute or two once the clock began to run out was really poor, too, as Steiner showed no sense of urgency whatsoever. The time had nearly expired and he is casually standing around while Flair is outside the ring, gesturing to the fans, or just looking on with a blank expression on his face instead of doing everything he could to put Flair away before the time expired. There was probably enough decent work here to still crack a middling grade, but honestly I feel like I'm being generous even going with a 5.0, because compared to similar Flair matches I thought this was a heavily flawed match where it frankly seemed like nobody really wanted to be there. I've been making my way through all of Flair's televised title matches that I can find, and with the exception of the awful cage match with Sting at Starrcade 1990, this very well may be the weakest of them all so far."

[10.0] "aj styles proved he can still compete for championships, he's still a masterIn triple, Rey was able to get enough rest to perform difficult moves. All in all, this match was great!"

[5.0] "Average match. Andrade looked good. Wasn't a fan of the finish, though I understand why they did that."

[7.0] "Pretty good main event that was a bit too long. Nakajima had a bad leg and the action was really solid."

[4.0] "I fully expected to have my brain switch off and remember nothing of this after the bell sounded but, to my surprise, MonsterSauce woke me up from the working coma that Switchblade almost put me under. Archer and Zayne each look so much better when teaming with one another, i loved their double team moves. [2.5]"

[6.0] "Good teamwork by both teams. I liked seeing a more serious and aggressive side from Marino Saihara in this match compared to her usual in ring self."

[5.0] "the layout of this match was actually really good, with the heels working over sugar. The ending could have been better thought. it appears they messed it up, which is unfortunate of course. not a bad match by any stretch of the imagination, just a weak finish"

[7.0] "Some sweet spots. R-Truth and New Catch Republic were the MVPs of this match imo. But ultimately, I think too many cooks spoiled the broth. 8 should be the highest number of people allowed to participate in a ladder match. Nice WrestleMania moment with R-Truth winning."

[8.0] "This match sent my mind racing for a number of reasons. The story here, i have no clue on its validity since i dont watch ROH on Honorclub anymore but this is how i've gathered it, is that Aminata is just miles and miles ahead of Billie Starkz. In spite of Billie's association and mentorship with Athena, Starkz is simply no match for Aminata through her usual means so Billie had to resort to a cheap and unfair tactic that Athena taught her in order to defeat Aminata. Here is where you can see Queenie at her best, i was so enamoured with her powerful and stiff offence in this match. Not just her, but for Bill too, because the same qualities that improved and enriched her title match with Athena are seen here. Billie took all of Aminata's biggest power strikes on the chin, literally. The lying about an injury angle might be controversial but i think they pulled it off to a respectful degree here. [4]"

[2.0] "The crowd came alive once The Dudleys entered the ring, but my God, was it a long ride before that. The stipulation itself is stupid and dumb, but also none of the teams were over except for The Dudleys and Too Cool who couldn't do what they do best in this environment, so the fans were silent throughout the whole thing. Plus the tables really didn't want to cooperate here with poor Brian Christopher's botch being the best example."

[7.0] "War Machine carried Chris Dickinson and Jaka to a fairly decent tag match, personally I'd say the wrong team went over, but that's just me."

[2.0] "this match was ... just bad. like it was just a superkick fest and i was like okay mayble it will pick up at the end but no . a weak match with a weak finish . i was so hyped for this match but it was so disappointing"

[5.0] "I feel that this match had a lot riding on it but the inexperience factor of The Infantry did slightly hinder their performance. Dean taking that Piledriver was class, and the fact that he had to sell it for so long and let Bravo take up a lot of the heat was the kind of meat-n-potatos heel tag work that i think The Kingdom can do very well together, but the third act where there's a lot of moving parts and setups for highspots all led to flat results. Wardlow's helping hand didn't feel entirely necessary either. I did enjoy Dean and Bravo's babyface work, although i do wish the crowd cared at least a little bit as much as i did. [3]"

[5.0] "Mantell stuck out like a sore thumb here and it lowered the quality of the match. The Midnight Express looked good as usual, and Adias was alright. 2.5 stars."

[8.0] "Kudos to both Becky and Rhea for overcoming 102 degree fever and panic attack. The match felt like it never reached that third gear though. Solid opener, but wasn't the instant classic I expected it could've been."

[6.0] "This is a somewhat decent no holds barred(? ) match between a veteran Homicide and Chris Dickinson. At the start I was confused as to why the crowd were booing the referee, but once I saw how chair shots were permitted, alongside count-outs, I understood why."

[7.0] "A wild match showcasing intensity and strong chemistry between the teams. Despite lacking a conclusive finish, the match delivers excitement and entertainment. 3.50 stars."

[6.0] "That count-out finish put nobody over, that's a pity, because it had a meaning. It's Calypso's debut in wXw and if most of the fans didn't know that she pinned Allison in Paris weeks ago, they were surely were doubtful of a title shot. Nonetheless, Calypso as the foreigner heel was a nice part, while Allison sold everything well for her. I felt the good dedication and the motivation to do well, even though the reactions were not that high for them. Calypso was desperate to win the gold this time and that's what led to her downfall. It's part of the initiation process. Solid showcase for Calypso."

[2.0] "A lackluster match dominated by mat work. While serving as a showcase for Fulton, the match fails to engage. 1.25 stars."

[8.0] "Damn, I had completely forgotten that Roman had hair. Nevermind. On a more serious note, it was another good showcase of AMBOSS, while the babyface squad was flashy and credible. That 13-minute mark was clean as f*ck. Dreissker and his boys were caught up in their own game, and they had to deal with opponents who are cheered for the same thing they booed. Everyone played the game, that was fun. Every lad had his moment to shine. Good stuff. The finish ruled, moreover."

[6.0] "For the first time in a while, i've seen a STARDOM trios match that excited me. I got to see Mei Seira in a match again and see how much she's improved since the last time (2021) and i got a reminder of how much i really love AZM. A spotfest done well. [3.25]"

[3.0] "... i was hooked in RIGHT up until Lee Johnson hit a Super Canadian Destroyer and then his finish twice in a row and Kyle Fletcher kicked out of it. It felt like all the slow and winding-up action Lee delivered flew out of the window and was made redundant, which was a total zapper for this match. A damn shame. [2.5]"

[7.0] "Pretty good main event with some really solid action in it. There were some cool moments in this match."

[8.0] "This was a really underrated and under appreciated match from this years mania. People take Rey Mysterio For granted. He still for the most part somehow hasnt lost a step and still looks great. He is close to my favorite wrestler of all time and this match was fitting for the setting"

[7.0] "Matsumoto/Chisako was a really fun team to watch here, they were impressive on the offense and they helped Kross to stand out on her own. ***1/4"

[4.0] "I'm a little tempted to go slightly higher with my rating just because I really enjoy watching Arn and Windham work, but realistically there just isn't much going on here. The Horsemen are fun as always, but the Renegade Warriors offer very little, and the match isn't much more than a lengthy squash. It's fine, but there's really nothing noteworthy here at all."

[5.0] "Liv Morgan looked bad in the early part of this match but grew into it and looked fine by the end. Becky was unspectacular but solid, except for her man handle slam which is weak looking for a finisher and came out of nowhere, giving a flat finish. **3/4"

[8.0] "This match was fucking INSANE. Flat out, it was an absolute masterclass of sheer indie stupidity mixed with the best form of DDT comedy. Genuinely, you should go out and watch this match, it is extremely worth it. Even if you just watch it for the Mecha Mummy rocket fist spot, it is worth it for that alone."

[10.0] "What a Match! A memorable main event, Shocking moments and FINALLY Cody has finished his story. Triple H was right "The biggest WrestleMania of all time""

[5.0] "Another AEW DARK adjacent match for the zero hour here, complimenting the previous tag match very well with its simplicity. Made me appreciate Mariah May a little more than usual in seeing her work less than 10 minutes, sometimes that's the best way to consume a wrestler. [3]"

[6.0] "Interference again. Up until this this was a really good match. However, Gunther still working like a monster isn't anywhere near as impactful since he dropped his weight and brutal offense. Other than his loud chops he is just a normal guy now ***1/4"

[10.0] "God damn awesome match. It's almost insane it's available for free. Bryan and Suzuki were going all-out. The crowd was white hot for both of them. Stiff strikes and smooth holds. This is a must-see for anyone who loves true graps."

[5.0] "I miss AEW DARK for matches like these that are short and built upon simple straight-forward stories that are only really able to be enjoyed in stints of in-ring action as opposed to weeks of build. the babyface team looked good, the heel team looked good, it's all you could want from a throwaway match. [3]"

[5.0] "It wasn't a bad match but it was kind of boring. Granted I am not a big fan of either of those two I didn't have high expectations. It was a bad matchup to begin with and the ending was as good as it could have been considering the size difference."

[6.0] "I liked this match, but it wasn't as good as the Rhea/Charlotte match last year. I was very happy with Rhea retaining, because Becky winning would've defined been the wrong call (especially since she was sick). I thought it was a good opener."

[8.0] "This was a great match altough I think it's extremely overrated by the people on here. Danielson was clearly having a blast and I couldn't be more happy for him. He delivered a nice perfomance and was able to make Panther look good. Panther put on a really good perfomance as well. His technical exchanges with Bryan early on in the match were awesome and his dives were super impressive, especially the one off the ramp. The atmosphere elevated the whole bout, absolutely eletric. The action was good, it started off really nicely but then all of Panther's limitations came to light and the match kinda underdelivered in the second part. However I really liked the ending with Danielson faking to tap out and then locking in the lebell lock for the win. 8/10 - 4*/5*"

[4.0] "This was more of a classic average Perfect match. I dont know why, but in Hennings matches there is always a lot of overselling, and from his opponents. Here everything was in the same manner. Martel continued to show off a lot, and Perfect put him in his place. The funny thing is that the fight ended during commercials, but thank you for at least showing the ending in a replay. There is nothing special to say, because everything was just good, but nothing more. After the fight, Perfect brought out the same girls that Rick had kicked out throughout the show. OK."

[6.0] "well, in fact, this fight did not turn out to be anything special. So, in general, it was a good pace, but I did not understand the decision to forget about selling at one point. And also the ending is a bit uncertain."

[10.0] "This is tag team pro wrestling at its best, incredible match between two incredible teams. It got absolutely everything you could want out of a match from emotional stakes to incredible movesets."

[7.0] "This didn't feel like a big match and it could have been better, but these women are great talents and it ended up being a solid match anyway. Kohaku's youth and athleticism vs DASH's simple mastery of the ring. The final Frog Splash hit hard."

[6.0] "Very basic faces vs. heels match with a feel-good finish to send the crowd home happy. Kanemaru was right there, but for some reason SHO was the one who got pinned by Tanahashi after High Fly Flow, which raises some questions. Boltin continues to improve and some of his short bursts of energy were very impressive."

[4.0] "Incredibly, this was a good Blake Christian performance. He looked fluid, he didn't do anything weird or annoying and he made The Beast Mortos look very strong. The name change will take a little bit of getting used to for me, i won't lie. I like the new mask. [2.5]"

[4.0] "This was a little bit strange, as Taylor has one of the more subdued mid-match heel turns possible when Alexandra York pops up on a picture-in-picture and casually announces they have joined forces. Taylor does then make a shift towards a more underhanded style and cheap shots Morton, but it's all very understated to the point where I don't think the crowd even really understood they had just seen a turn at all. The wrestling was fine (I actually really liked the last couple minutes, largely because they had some nice looking punches and Morton is always good at showing fire, which I really appreciate), but I'm going to have to slightly harsh here since the turn was a bit of a bust, so I think the match kind of failed at its main purpose."

[3.0] "Same Suzuki match for the last x years plus boring simple cheater Ren Narita gives what I could have expected: a dull uninspiring match. At least does not last too long."

[6.0] "Fairly positive match, their two styles came together really well but ultimately my investment level didn't go beyond the average. Some really cool reversals into submissions here. 3.25*"

[2.0] "My patience has long since worn thin with these monotonous Freebird matches... They all look the same, and they are never interesting. Worse yet, this match featured the 20 year old rookie, Allen Iron Eagle, who seemed out of his depth, even working the very simplistic Freebird match template. I had to laugh when Iron Eagle completely no sold a punch from Hayes - that seemed to really piss him off. The only entertainment value in this is watching the match threaten to fall apart before your eyes thanks to Iron Eagle's incompetence, because otherwise this just flat out sucked."

[5.0] "This match was used as a chance to freshen up NJPW's house-style. There were some interesting ideas that I appreciated, but not everything clicked and by the time finish has happened the match was dragging along for a while. It was nice to see Uemura in a match like this, though at times I thought he wanted to come across like Naito in early 2010s lol."

[5.0] "A good TV match with a bad finish. Very uncreative way to keep heat on the Bloodline having them hit the ring mid match in full view of the referee. Cody Rhodes is massively over and, prior to the finish, he and Drew McIntyre worked a solid but safe house show style match **3/4"

[6.0] "Fun little match, it's a case were the losing team was more noticeable tha the winners, between Cherry's technical displays and Yoneyama's silly antics. The best wrestler remains Ohka, the only one in the match who dares to actually throw her kicks hard."

[3.0] "It was just the kind of full-on match that was commonly seen on Raw at a time when it wasn't particularly pampered with its performance. It lasted 8 minutes, but this is the case when you can say thank you, no more. The match was a really boring drag. He was even famous in his own way, because its not so often that you see a match start with boring dominance of the faces, continue with the same boring, but shorter duration of dominance of the heels, and end at the moment when the dynamics had just appeared. It's a pity that the WWF wasn't about wrestling at the time, so even such talented performers of the time as Tito Santana, Ted DiBiase and Mike Rotunda were involved in this kind of spectacle. By the way, I want to mention Virgil here. Here he provided all the explosive moments of the fight, and he conducted them very well; compared to the other participants, he seemed the most interesting and agile. In any case, the match was not a success, but the good news is that it was not a squash."

[4.0] "Tom Zenk is so uncharismatic that I find it difficult to care about anything he does. For somebody who has the body of a superhero, he somehow has no presence whatsoever. He always has this vacant look in his eyes, even when he is firing up. Eaton is talented, but is given very little to do, and the finish is 'fine' but fairly underwhelming - not sure why it needed to have the minor controversy? Maybe they just botched it... At any rate, the match is fine on a technical level - it's just a bit boring, really."

[4.0] "I had high hopes for this, and it didn't meet them. The wrestling was decent (albeit unremarkable), but the booking sucked. I'm not sure how the referee missed the blatant interference from Spivey, but didn't matter much anyway considering a lame DQ followed soon afterwards anyway. A fairly empty match in the end, and largely a waste of time, really."

[6.0] "Billy Jack Haynes is Dynamite Kid's replacement this time around. This continued the plot of Danny Davis trying to screw over the Bulldogs. They basically followed the same formula as the tag matches with JYD here, placing Davey Boy as the FIP and Billy Jack as the hot tagger. Watching the Harts doing their dirty work in the heel's corner is always a joy. We get to see a lot of amusing antics from Davis, Jimmy, and the Harts here, much to the fans' annoyance. It got BONZO GONZO down the line -- Bret accidentally nailed Davis, Davey took care of Neidhart, and Haynes slapped the Full Nelson on Bret for the submission victory. Textbook stuff, as expected from the Hart Foundation, with a hot Garden crowd to boot. [**3/4]"

[8.0] "DOUKI needed a strong performance before a title match and Fujita needed another step forward to make fans believe in his potential going into BOSJ season, imo this match fullfilled both wrestlers' needs. SHO jumped DOUKI after the match, but DOUKI recovered and made a quick comeback, which SHO sold extremely cartoonishly. ***1/2+"

[9.0] "The most Realistic David vs Goliath match of all times. Wd gotta credit the ruleset for that but also both men's abbillities to adapt to their opponents. I want to give this a 10 because I don't think you could make this more believable, but on the other hand I'm probably biased so I'll stick with 9. I highly recommend it for fans who want to get into Shoot-Style and Storytelling. If you watch wrestling for flips and suplexes this might not be for you."

[6.0] "The matches against Andre look to me like possibly the best of King Kong's career in WWF. An entertaining power bout between the two giants that reminded me a bit of Andre's match with Abdullah the Butcher, in which the dimensional intimidating Abdullah looked very small against Andre, much like Bundy in this match. [6.0] "Seeing the finish, the match made more sense, the explosion of aggression from both side that boiled over at the end. Unfortunately, it's just not satisfying. Sure, some great strike exchanges and they are getting in the right direction with the crowd becoming hotter, but I personally really craved a proper matchup, 20? 25? 30 minutes ever of just the two of the best strikers in the world going at it. Maybe i just had the wrong expectation."

[6.0] "That was fun actually especially the last 3 minutes of the match , the teamwork was good here from both teams, and I really liked the ending of the match."

[9.0] "Excellent technical showcase by both wrestlers, delivering a well-paced 15-minute mat wrestling masterclass with some brilliant exchanges of holds and submission attempt escapes. Arez is the GOAT as always, and Angelico really up the intensity, and a hot finish to top it off, never lost the live crowd from start to finish."

[9.0] "Wow this was amazing watching in attendance. Never know any of the three guys, this 10 minute sprint blew my mind, especially Bendito. Apparently he's being in GLEAT and has been doing GCW shows starting this year, what a gem to be discovered. Just ridiculous visual to see such a tall stature execute such delicate moves. The other two were equally impressive, there were a great balance between strikes, creative moves, and high flying. There are some blemishes here and there but all together, this is what a spotfest should be like. People chanting "please come back" and tossing bills into the ring at the end of this speaks volumes of the match's excellence."

[6.0] "What was that finish! The was a very good match until a very odd interference spot that led to the finish. Both guys worked really hard. Dragunov is one of the best workers in WWE but I have watched quite a bit of him lately and he is leaving too far into his weird faces and intensity, we're it is getting to the point of self parody. Did Dijak is a very good wrestler and for the time they had this was worth checking out if you don't think you'll be soured by a bad finish ***1/4"

This clash was an absolute masterpiece, with wonderful narrative dynamics that keep the main feuds within Raw and SmackDown fueled. Also the ending was splendid, when Bray Wyatt dedicated himself to one of the best moments of his WWE career. One of the greatest match of 2016 in WWE (main roster and NXT), without any doubts. [6.0] "A kinda weird match because despite Naito being as hot as he was, it was almost a squash match with Fale dominating. This helps be memorable in some fashion but a bit plodding throughout."

[5.0] "I've seen people say the main event went too long even though it was good. I'd save that criticism for this match honestly. House of Black are a weird stable with their stop and start pushes. Here they're up against three lowcard guys and it goes fifteen minutes? For what? Seemed like an easy choice to make this a squash and build them back up but oh well."

[4.0] "The Jeb Bush "please clap" spot was bad but not as bad as the worst trading elbows exchange I've seen lately. And that's saying a lot for how overdone that spot is. Other than that not much to this one as they waited to come back from commercial before they did anything of note. Toni Storm is still pretty bland when she's not doing the comedy act, but the comedy act ruins her matches. Kind of a Catch 22."

[8.0] "Cool match to lead into the matches BCC have with Ospreay this coming week. Hobbs looked like a killer out there. Hope they do something more with him sooner rather than later."

[7.0] "My review from April 20th, 2019 of this match (which I still completely agree with): re-watched that takeover main event and it perplexes me even more now. johnny look about 4 finishes and then just immediately submitted adam cole. makes no sense in many ways. obviously its not realistic but neither is wrestling so that doesn't matter much but wouldn't you wanna sell the johnny comeback more? lemme reiterate - don't you wanna actually have a comback lmao. this man kicked out of a fourth finish then just reversed one knee and won. the submission didn't even last that long either like jesus 2 year build wow. Adam Cole looks like an absolute dork now, him and all of the undisputed era. couldn't imagine how a casual would view them (not sure how many casuals watch NXT tho) but even I think they look utterly ridiculous. ***1/2"

[6.0] "This is my favourite WrestleMania but I haven't watched it since I was probably in grade school - so I was fully expecting to hate this. But this was FANTASTIC. Okay maybe not fantastic, but expecting a horrible match made me look way more fondly upon this. Taker is carrying like a maniac here. Big Show is far from either side of his two primes and A-Train doesn't get much shine, but that doesn't stop Taker from bumping and selling like a total boss and making this match a totally servicable handicap. Fun finish and the crowd loved it all. Seriously how does this average a 3/10? Plus Takers entrance has to be Top 3 live wrestling performances. ***1/4"

[5.0] "This is one of those matches where the work was on display. Nothing felt like a struggle, there were far too many moments where someone was waiting in position a split-second too long. You could see them working with each other and that is not a good wrestling match."

[5.0] "Odd TV main event just thrown together to bring out Mr Perfect some revenge for Flair's early interruption. But you know you're going to get something decent out of two workers like Flair and Santana."
