[7.0] "Does its job, but feels unable to build up to much due to the time constraints. Fun moves and interesting reversals that make sense. Given a little more time this could have been more. I also don't find myself clicking with Zangiev until later in the match after Hashimoto spits on him. If it had continued with Hashimoto continuing to aggravate Zangiev, using that to his advantage, this match simply deserves more time."

[6.0] "Solid match. I had no real expectations going into this, so I'm still a bit surprised people didn't like Usos drama that much. Those superkicks were nice and Yeet vs. No Yeet part is genuinely a one great WrestleMania moment. Finish is basic, but worked fine. I guess we're getting new Usos singles soon. ***1/4"

[6.0] "It was a fun little high-flying match with both guys doing some impressive stuff and Eddie presenting lots of charisma. Essa didn't show much personality, but his stuff looked very good and both workers seemed to have a good chemistry with each other."

[7.0] "A terrific bout with full of energy. The most interesting thing is that just by looking at this match, you would have guessed Jannetty was the star of the team."

[4.0] "These four guys are not the most polished workers, so it wasn't a technical masterpiece, plus that's another story based around somebody's sexual deviances. I'll give it to them that the finish was nicely executed, but everything leading up to this was just meh."

[6.0] "It was nice seeing Gable and Sami team up before they inevitably clash next week but the match was just fine. The last minutes were pretty good though and I enjoyed Gable's teamwork with Sami."

[6.0] "A solid main event. Nice to see DeReiss get a main event spot even if it was in a losing effort. Some solid action but the crowd was not the most invested at times."

[9.0] "I loved this, just pure graps done very, very well. I always love Hashimoto and she once again delivered, and while I'm not nearly as familiar with Aoki, this made me want to be. I'd say this is a must watch for any tekkers fans that just really love two people going all out."

[8.0] "What a great way to truly end his lenghty reign in the supposed grandest stage of them all. And who better man to win this is none other than Sami Zayn. As most of the WALTER/Gunther matches are composed of heavy and brutal strikes even with the WWE's restricted environment is what makes it stand out from the usual WWE cliched matches. The chops by Gunther are still devastating, I wouldn't take that receiving end. Sami fighting back like some sort of a hopeless underdog whereas Gunther trying his best to derailed Zayn's momentum. Gunther added insult to injury when he taunted Sami's wife, although is a WWE cliche when it terms of having families in the ring but Gunther doing this making him a soulless jerk, much fitting of his character. Gunther doing two splashes and Sami Zayn trying to be hulking up but in a sympathetic way is a cool sight. One thing that really amazed me to see is when Sami Zayn doing the brain buster on the top turnbuckle, a homage to his old gimmick, El Generico. The two Helluva kicks are just simply a great way to end the match, reminiscent on the ending of the main event on last year's WrestleMania. Zayn winning the IC belt is such a touching moment. The match is truly a breath of fresh air. ****1/2"

[7.0] "What a fun tag team ladder match. Multi-man tag team ladder matches like these are always a blast. Yes, it is a spot fest but knowing the nature of the match, who knows what idea they could bring. The spot of the night is NCR moonsault from the top of the ladder and Ciampa avalanche Celtic Cross on Bate. The Gargano DDT through the table is sickening though. R-Truth with a little comedy as usual doing a tag with The Miz and performing a pinfall. Damian Priest with a slip when performing a Chokeslam on The Miz is very obvious to watch, hence why he decided to jump down as well, I guess it is not executed properly. Good thing that the JD McDonagh run-in doesn't hurt the match entirely. A-Town Down Under winning the Smackdown tag team titles is understandable though but do we really need Awesome Truth to win the Raw tag team titles? Sucks that neither NCR nor DIY didn't even win at least one of those belts. Overall, a match full of cool spots and a great showcase for all the talents involved. ****"

[9.0] "This was everything I hoped for from ZSJ in DDT. He was able to show his usual incredible technical style while also playing into the DDT comical aspects of wrestling and seemed like he had been in DDT for years. He and Chris make for a great tag team and his chemistry with Ueno was great, to the point I'm really hoping they can have a singles match at some point. This was just an amazingly fun match that had something for just about everyone. Honestly, might be my favorite match of this weekend."

[6.0] "Upon hearing from the commentary that Lynch is wrestling with a fever, I expected that the match will slow down for her favor in which it did. Lynch is just defiant, and she don't want to miss the most important match of her career. Ripley relying solely on power and almost dominated Lynch for most of the match. Lynch however showing some resilience by fighting back whenever she got a chance. Ripley ended with a devastating Riptide on the turnbuckle followed by a proper Riptide for the win. A lowkey good match but cut them some slack. Lynch is sick during this match hence why she didn't bring out her best here but mad props for her on proceeding the match as it is. ***1/2"

[4.0] "It was fun at first but it went for way too long. They ran out of stuff to do and just started hitting each other with weapons and you were just waiting for somebody to finally end it. Some nice spots at the beginning with the stage setup, but they didn't have ideas for later."

[6.0] "An average main event that then caught fire in the closing stretch. This continued the CM Punk and Drew McIntyre rivalry, as Punk cost McIntyre the first shot at Damian Priest, handing it over to Jey Uso. Sure he may have had the worst match of WrestleMania with his brother, but Jey is over and will fit the first PLE challenger role. Ricochet and Bronson Reed didn't feature at WrestleMania, but they both had decent outings here, and it's on them throughout the year to get themselves spots on WrestleMania 41."

[6.0] "A nice match with new Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn and Chad Gable seeing off GUNTHER's Imperium goons, pretty much the new champion victory lap match. This set up Gable challenging Zayn for the title next week in Zayn's home city of Montreal, where I get the sense GUNTHER interferes to set up his rematch, maybe for Backlash in France. Long term, I'd try and build Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser back up, they really should be challengets for the RAW Tag Team Titles against a team like The Awesome Truth."

[4.0] "For the most part, this was what we've been getting for the last couple of months, so much for "a new era", but it was building up to John Cena making an appearance. And indeed he did for the last part of the match to help Awesome Truth get the win. I can only presume time heals wounds, as I remember 2011 when Cena's feud with them led to that lame walkout angle. Still, we're well past the seven year churn period, so this was fine for the evening. Interesting dynamic with The Judgment Day with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest both world champions and the other three not living up to the billing."

[10.0] "This was a masterpiece, plain and simple. The more I analyze this match, the more I see the nuances involved in the makings of this perfect main event that originally wasn't even supposed to happen. Not my favorite match between these two wrestlingwise (although it was a great one), but definitely it was one of the best matches in WWE's history storywise, maybe THE best. The build-up to this was amazing, with The Rock unbelievably embracing this heelish persona "Final Boss", and gathering thunderous reactions week after week like only an absolute legend like him can do. And after a Night 1 that made things even worse for Cody and mirrored the failure from last year, we have the match. Again, it wasn't as much of an incredible wrestling display as last year, but every single second was as emotional and tense as it could get. And when those magical final 10 minutes began, it just felt breathtaking, because absolutely all of it was a result of years and decades of storytelling: Jey helping Cody by taking out his brother, then Solo trying to ruin Cody's dreams one more time and failing, then Cena taking out Solo, then Cena and Rock having one last face-off after 11 years, then The Undertaker returning one more time to the event that has his name all over it. And when it comes down to Roman Reigns, holding a chair, standing against Cody and Seth, the man who sacrificed his own body, pride, and championship throughout the weekend in order to put an end to the Bloodline, Roman chooses to return the chair shot that ended The Shield and became a huge scar that never fully healed on him, therefore completing Rollins' redemption and dooming Reigns, because that allows Cody to execute that damn triple Cross Rhodes once and for all and put an end to the biggest WWE title reign of the century. It wasn't just Cody Rhodes finishing a story here, it was Roman Reigns, it was Seth Rollins, it was The Undertaker, it was The Rock, it was John Cena, and most importantly, it was WWE finishing an era. An era where fans didn't have the biggest say on the show, but Vince McMahon did. And that era is finally over, with a wrestler pushed by the fans, and a gimmick completely made by himself and not by WWE's infamous creative, holding gold and shaking HHH's hand. Definitely lived up to the hype and it definitely achieved the legendary status that a WM40 main event should achieve. It's things like these that ensures me that pro wrestling is a form of art."

[4.0] "Pretty forgettable opening match but the crowd was hot for Al Snow and Billy Gunn so it was surprising to see Hardcore Holly end up going over here. Not the most violent match considering this is for the Hardcore Title in Philadelphia. Nothing special here, 2.5 stars at most."

[9.0] "The match was long, but it served perfectly its purpose. I was pleasantly surprised by The Rock, who could hold his own in the ring. This definitely had the "big fight feel" that some of the best matches in WWE history had, like Rock vs Hogan at Mania 18. And by "best" I obviously don't mean it is a technical masterpiece but a match which felt like it was the biggest deal in history and was fought by the wrestlers like that. I feel like if you can contextualize this match you will understand that it was in fact perfect for the competitors involved. I just wish the crowd was hotter but it was literally freezing at the stadium so I kinda get it. Instant classic."

[5.0] "A fine but ultimately not the most impressive tag title match. The first half left a bit to be desired with some pretty bad comedy. The match did pick up in action in the latter half but this could have been more."

[4.0] "Unfortunately a match that lacked in drama or stakes and dragged a fair amount. Some of Austins tactics were amusing but not the most enthralling title match."

[6.0] "This turned into a really fun title match with the craft, old tough ass veteran Jun Akiyama and the clearly emotional Tomomitsu Matsunaga putting in a great losing effort."

[9.0] "Match of the night, match of wrestlemania, best WWE match of the year thus far. Iyo also had the best entrance this whole mania with the rock being a close second. Sorry Cody just not into the whole Triple H meat riding."

[5.0] "Snoop's commentary almost brought this up to a 6 but this was really fun and I'm glad the crowd was so into it."

[4.0] "The only redeeming thing about this is how good Drew's been built up in the story leading up to this, which left a lot of excitement just seeing his moment happen. The match itself is another Seth Rollins stinker where selling is minimal and when it is present it is just goofy. He just seems so uninspired in the ring and probably needs a vacation or something. The following moments after the match are pretty great, a great execution of a cash-in and Drew having his moment tragically taken away from him again. Not sure how good Priest is gonna be as world champion but I at least hope it'll be better than Rollins' reign that completely killed all hype I had for this championship."

[7.0] "Chill chain wrestling to enjoy. Both competitors simply rif around on the mat without being too overcomplicated while still constantly having something to focus. Fun undercard affair"

[10.0] "This is why wrestling matters. This is why wrestling is amazing. This is why WRESTLING IS COOL. Everything was a hit. Zero misses on this show. Banger after banger after banger. This match excelled. The in ring work? STELLAR. Storytelling? PHENOMENAL. This is the dawn of a new era. This had me crying real tears. Not enough words to describe this masterpiece of pro wrestling and sports entertainment. This outclassed their match from last year. This was worth the wait. As a story writer, I must say, this isn't CINEMA. THIS. IS. WRESTLING"

[6.0] "This was a satisfactory match with Taven and Bennett carrying the match throughout. The Infantry still has a lot of space for improvement and I really think this opportunity should have been given to some better and deserving teams in ROH such as Top Flight instead of The Infantry."

[7.0] "Solid undercard tag that highlighted the babyfaces and the heels came off viscous in their heats. Some neat offense at points though some of it could have looked better. First time watching Senegal and she looked quite good"

[10.0] "This is one of the best women's matches I've seen. Probably bayley's best match on the main roster, certainly her best since takeover Brooklyn.it was fire. The story it told was epic. I'm a simple person honestly and this is the kind of match I like."

[10.0] "I'm a fan of wwe since 2011 when i am little kid i always fascinated with pro wrestlers like john cena, cm punk, randy etc but i never cared this much for a wrestler like cody who i watched back then he truly become undeniable in this.i'm happy for him but also i need to give flowers to roman who put over cody in best way possible.i'm glad that triple h is the person that i have trust right now.so, as a match it is fantastic, they both have great chemistry in ring, storytelling aspect is also great , every interference is great jim, jey, solo, john, rock and taker and special shout-out to seth.i'm looking forward"

[7.0] "This match contains very simple storytelling. But sometimes, simple is rather effective. Ilja is the unmovable unstoppable object and WALTER is seemingly unstoppable in that he'll tear everything in his way. It's not the greatest in-ring wise although there is some good stuff in here, but this match really showcases the rivalry between these two."

[9.0] "Logan Paul belongs here. He just does. There's no better way I can phrase it. What a match. The shenanigans with Kevin Owens and Randy beating him worked. I love that speed nearly died from an RKO. Logan's title reign is still good. Let it continue. Banger match"

[9.0] "Tight grappling builds into both wrestlers diving into their respective styles to try and finish each other before time. Their quickness plays as brilliant technical flash early on in the match, later getting recast as desperation and Hash starts hucking bombs. Lots of playing with speed and time as they fought to see who controlled the tempo of the match, whether in series of quick waistlocks and reversals or in the way they tried to grind each other to a halt on the mat. Things felt impactful, advantages and breakthroughs all felt earned."

[5.0] "Just an ok match, I was expecting more after watching their TLC bouts because they have really great chemistry there. But here the ladders aren't really used in a interesting manner and I was not that impressed by the spots. The story and reward for the match is a bit funny in a so bad its good way."

[6.0] "Just another fun stipulation match put on by DDT. Why the inclusion of Lego looks kind of ridiculous there's no denying how painful landing on them is. Excellent, fun match put on by both wrestlers."

[8.0] "Entrances were stellar, sure it was a finisher fest but that was what it needed to be. Seth had business later in the night and didn't have the time for creative offense. This is fae from their best match but punk delivered on commentary and Drew got his moment with fans... Sort of"

[7.0] "Good match that in my opinion showcased DIY and the new champions more than the other teams. My personal favorite bump was Gargano's apron DDT through the table on Dunne. It was nice to see R--Truth get his Wrestlemania moment so it was a smart decision to leave that for the end of the match. At least 3 stars."

[8.0] "This was always going to be great when given time. Gunther being one of the best in the world currently, and Sami Zayn as the ultimate underdog as he plays so well have great chemistry together and are both fantastic talents. The fans seemed to want Chad Gable in the spot of Zayn and perhaps the story would have worked even better but either way this match is a classic and I can only hope for a triple threat for the next big show WWE does. 4 stars at least."

[10.0] "I cried while watching this. It was that good. Gable was my choice to win the IC title but Sami Zayn played the underdog toppling the giant to perfection. He was the right person to beat Gunther. I expect him to drop the title soon but what a banger. What a story. Gunther makes everyone look like a million bucks"

[7.0] "This match didn't need to be much and it didn't force itself to be that. Everything was done to get Cargill over but I like how everyone got offense. It was a competitive enough match that got the girls to shine. Dakota Kai is amazing. Just a good match"

[5.0] "I assume folks are getting overexcited about the final five minutes because the opening 12 were pretty uneventful and around half of them were consigned to picture-in-picture or whatever that commercial break split screen is called. There was undoubtedly a flurry of cool exchanges leading up to the finish, before Ricochet decided to take himself out of the World title picture for the sake of a "Holy shit! " chant. From there, we had the inevitable Punk angle opening the door for some trademark featherlight Uso offence. Yeesh **1/2"

[10.0] "This was one of the best matches ever, I've cried like a baby watching this one, formidable experience, I feel like few things will surpass it in my entire life. Roman and Cody have a magical chemistry, it's impressive, we had so many WWE big names that weren't able to create magic, but in this match the purely in-ring stuff would be enough to put this into the Match of the Night leadership, that was incredibly good, probably one of the best Roman performances ever, if not the best, and Cody was a beast too, incredible reactions. The psychology was untouchable the whole match, I have my critics about Roman but he delivered as hell here, the stuff he did after the cross-rhodes, saying that he only did it to prove the move doesn't beat anyone was fantastic, and both guys reactions the whole match were astonishing. In my opinion wrestling is about those kind of matches, it's the peak, matches that made you feel that what you're watching is the most important thing in the world, matches that divide fanbases, divide people, have personal beliefs involved, everybody had a guy to cheer, and they sold that brilliantly, it was the most important thing in the world... a long history, a great main event the year before, the build, Cody's story, everything lead up to this, I can't recall a match with a big match feel so damn big before the bell rang, this was the ultimate match, some people can even call it a final chapter for WWE, and the beginning of a new one, and I agree, this was the last chapter of anything close to the Vince McMahon era, now it's a new era, and this match symbolized perfectly the transition. There was no better place to end the Roman Reigns 1316-days reign, one of longest and most fantastic ones ever, I don't think there will ever be something like that again, he's been a champion since August 30, 2020... unbelievable. I never tend to hide that I'm not a huge Roman Reigns fan, I've rooted against him against Drew, against Zayn, against Rhodes, those three moments were perfect to end the reign, but they didn't, and after watching this match I'm glad it wasn't ended back then, this was perfect, a match and a finish that not even the best writer could write, it's just one of those magical things that a bunch of stuff and a rare set of events permit, and they needed to capitalize, and they did. I've always said that they missed the opportunity on Drew, Zayn, and Cody, and that they didn't pulled the trigger at the best moments, and will absolutely miss the window, but I'm glad I was wrong, because they didn't, this was much better than anything else could have been. Wrestling is the coolest stuff ever man, amazing. It's so cool that I could watch this entire Mania build, it was so special, I was really happy when Cody won the Rumble, everything made sense, and then we had the Dwayne stuff, he tried to "steal" Cody's main event, the fans didn't let him, and the fact that they reverted the decision was the best thing possible, because we were able to watch this match, be present for this moment, and watch a legendary The Rock heel run, what a time to be a wrestling fan. I started crying when John Cena came, and then we had the staredown with The Rock, Rock cleared Cena, but then The Shield song played, and between 10-15 seconds we all thought Jon Moxley was showing up, even thought the possibility was zero, they did in a way that the fans believed, and this was the way to put Moxley in the match, really beautiful stuff. Reigns immediately punched Rollins wearing a Shield gear, and then when Rock was going to hit Cody with the belt, the UNDERTAKER bell rang, what a moment, man. Yes, if it was Stone Cold would probably be better, and I think it was supposed to be him but something happened, that Rock and Austin staredown would've been NUTS, but Taker was amazing too, specially because we weren't expecting. Taker took Rock out, and let the Mama Rhodes belt in that cinematic position. When Roman Reigns stood up with the chair, he saw Cody in one side, and Rollins with the Shield gear on the other side, and chose to beat Rollins, a beautiful and poetic story was being told, after 10 years of the breakup, he finally got his revenge, and it cost him the title, the circle is closed, he lost the title, but he's not the guy that always receives the chair shots anymore, he did one now, the biggest one, the payback for the most heartbreaking moment of his professional career, simply brilliant. Cody won, rightfully so, and celebrated with a lot of wrestlers in the ring, some guys that were victims of the Bloodline, every big name of the company went there, and of course, Triple H, Nick Khan... the torch has been passed, Cody is the guy now, he deserves that, nobody works harder, he wrestled with a torn pec, he embodied the spirit of the company, and few people delivered more than him after his WWE return in 2022, if any people at all did. I got emotional writing this damn rating, what a match this was, what an experience, I don't care if there are trolls here making the rating look "common" or if Meltzer doesn't give 5 stars, this will forever be special, one of the best matches ever, like I said in the beginning of the rating. I've written a lot, but still doesn't feel it was enough to demonstrate what this match was, this was a blessing, it was perfect - {*****}"

[3.0] "What happened? Like what happened with this match? Was it the production or the storytelling. I wasn't expecting Bret vs Owen but this match was so heatless that I could barely care. The one great spot came when jimmy tricked Jey but that led to NOTHING. Super kicks all round. Not even a stipulation was saving this match"

[8.0] "Solid TV bout, aside from the commercials. I like these contendership 4-ways that they've been doing under Triple H's creative. They're a good way to see who else is realistically within the title picture. I figured Drew would be the obvious winner, but the Punk shennanigans caught me off guard even though they probably shouldn't have. I'm not super hot on Jey winning here since Reed could absolutely use another big match after winning the Andre, but it is what it is. I suspect that Reed will continue to hover around the IC title, but I do think he's good enough to be elevated to WHC. Decent action, Ricochet is insanely good, Drew always pulls the right emotions."

[9.0] "Absolute car crash of a match. The right people won and everyone showcased their talents. It was amazing and Ioved it."

[8.0] "Pretty good opener all things considered. Wouldn't call it stellar but it delivered what it needed to"

[7.0] "Really solid stuff, as expected from having 4 of the company's best in-ring talent sharing the squared circle together. Absolutely worth a watch even if you're not hot on Sami winning the IC title and Gable playing second fiddle to him. Imperium kept up the pace with Gable incredibly well and Sami is such a good seller, even in these TV matches. There was a bit of sadness realizing that Gable is leagues ahead of quite literally everyone else on the roster with the exception of Gunther, and that he probably should have been the one to dethrone him. I'm still hoping, praying that we get that Gable-Gunther rematch down the line. Maybe once Gunther holds the Universal title?"

[8.0] "A star-making night for both men. This was a very very fine match which had all it needed, the action, the drama, the unpredictability of the finish. And man, the finishing move was so awesome, haven't seen something like that ever. GIVE ME A PART 2 OF THIS."

[6.0] "I just want to say that I share a similar typical rule with the previous user where I generally start out with a default 5 before I officially rate my wrestling matches. Everything either moves up (which happens most of the time) or down (which happens occasionally) depending on the action in a wrestling contest. This Claudio Castagnoli vs Butcher match was decent filler, so this gets a fair 6 out of 10 by me here."

[4.0] "Really nothing special. Judgement Day beats on Truth and the Miz while doing the exact same spots and match formula you've been seeing for a year out. This feud has been so drawn out and overexposed ringwise that it quite literally only entertains in segments and promos, which are still pretty fun and enjoyable. But seriously. I do not want to see JD McDonagh and the Miz wrestle each other ever again. I do not want to see R Truth and Dominik Mysterio wrestle each other ever again. Not in any way, shape, or form. Not even if Cena is there."

[6.0] "Pretty average match with the highlight being Jade showcased as a main event threat. I'm hoping that by Summerslam Bianca vs. Jade will be something special. Damage control looked good in defeat and the right team won. 3 star match at best."

[7.0] "I thought this was a surprisingly good filler match with Hook/Chris Jericho vs Shane Taylor Promotions here. This is a fun babyface duo so far in the ring regardless of what the critics say about Jericho."

[6.0] "Kurt and Taker put on a good performance here. Still, I felt like Kurt could have done way more with Taker and was felt a little underwhelmeing in the first 10 minutes or so. Still, the last minutes of the match really turned things up and I wasn't sure if Taker or Kurt were going to tap out which makes the finish, in my opinion, so great and shocking."

[0.0] "I was already sick of Awesome Truth and Judgment day stuff but this match took it to a new low for me. Doesn't help that the first bit of the match was cut off and the promo that led to this match was also very awful. Nothing interesting happens here, Truth gets beat up here, Miz comes in and goes off for a bit but is eventually squashed by Judgement Day. Should have used the match to make them look good instead of having these long standing vets with belts who have been jobbers for years now get squashed again and made to look more pathetic when a part-timer comes in with a predictable save and a very choreographed finish. Doesn't make me interested in anyone in this match and in fact makes me dread what the tag division is going to look like."

[10.0] "For all the massive flaws of last night's (and last year's) absolutely terrible and deflating main event, and the bumpy road of booking to tonight (which almost robbed us of this), at the end of the rain, there's that golden light. Immediately after the match, I gave it a 9, but it was right on the borderline between a 9 and a 10. It was, quite simply, a brilliant match. The reason I was on the fence is that, even after three and a half years with the title, Roman is still pretty bland in the ring. His offence never graduated much past the power move/rest hold combo that would've been fine, if pedestrian, in the Vince era, but maybe not to a more discerning wrestling audience. But hey, it wasn't Roman's night; it was Cody's night. Cody, on the other hand, has improved leaps and bounds since his inglorious release from the WWE eight years ago, and betting on himself in such a manner is one of the things that has improved the industry massively, even if he's too self-effacing to admit it. And to get a really good Roman Reigns match, you need a ring general like Cody and a stipulation to hide the cracks. The stipulation promised all sorts of nonsense, and you can't say that promise wasn't kept. Sure, it was messy and ridiculous, but in the best fucking way, and as soon as Jey's music hit to the end of the match, I couldn't help but have a massive grin on my face, as each cameo was booked to perfection. It's perhaps poetic that this match took place in Philadelphia. At the end of the thirteenth season of It's Always Sunny, Mac had to find his pride. And much like our favourite portly Philadelphian in the form of Frank, watching this match in the ninth inning: I get it. I finally get it. Two years on our screens, and nearly fifty years after his father came up just short in Madison Square Garden, we can finally say that Cody Rhodes has Finished The Story. From undesirable, to undeniable, to now, undisputed. Congratulations. You deserve it, champ."

[6.0] "Exactly what it needed to be. Naomi has been pittiful since her return, truly. Bianca is Top 5 in the world regardless of gender, and Jade looked a trillion bucks. Couldn't really ask for more. ***"

[3.0] "This match is pretty weak and consists of a lot of superkick trading that didn't do a whole lot for me. I'm glad they had Jey go over but this outing for the Uso's was pretty boring and it almost makes me want to see them back as a team sooner rather than later. 2 stars at best."

[9.0] "My expectations for this match were pretty low. I thought Shotty Lees idea of showing up and showing out would be a solid 10 or so minute match with Fletcher, good but relatively short. I was dead wrong. It felt like half the match was in the finishing stretch and although I always suspected Kyle would walk away as champ, every time Lee kicked out of something that I thought he wouldnt, doubt crept back in. Kyle Fletcher doesnt just have the capabilities of being a star, he has the capabilities of MAKING one too. Both of these mens stock shot way up from this match I think very few people were invested in before it started, but masterfully webbed an in ring tale to REALLY engage the fans. Hope Fletcher can continue to do this for the ROH TV title. I also hope Shotty Lee gets another look from some of the vets and gets asked to work more with them. Pairing him with QT or Brock Anderson were not quite the right moves for him. Not sure what will be, but he needs proper guidance to capitalize on a great effort like this."

[10.0] "I legitimately think of this match every few months. The story was simple. Two knockout finishers against the other. Who would hit it first? Could either withstand it? a great clash of protected finishers between a Giant and a powerhouse. Big show takes it to Sheamus like no one else on the roster could at this time. Sheamus' resilience got put to the test and he endured enough to fire back at the Big Show and bring it to the Giant. Sheamus is the first to kick out of the KO Punch and then Big Show returns the favor by being the first to kick out of the Brogue kick. Then the final clash of the finishers where Big Show connects first to secure the victory. An outstanding power vs power slug fest that lives rent free. Also JBL and JR have outstanding chemistry! I'm surprised they never worked together more but there was a ton of respect and relation between them."

[8.0] "Really enjoyable TV main, fun throughout but natural escalation with it all going wild once Rey gets that hot tag. I think there's very few things in wrestling more fun than Rey being interrupted when attempting the 619, and this had a great one with Angle catching him with a chair to the knee."

[8.0] "A top-3 matches of Mania, this was fantastic, what a match, nothing felt bigger. IYO Sky remembered everyone why she's one of the best female workers ever, incredible performance, and mixing that with Bayley's babyface appeal they created some magic here. I loved that the crowd chanted the "heeey Bayley" stuff, I love this chant, phenomenal stuff. Ending was dramatic as hell, and had so many good moves and sequences, amazing - {****1/4}"

[7.0] "At the moment this was wrestled, the clear match of the night, incredibly enjoyable. Randy and KO teamed up on Logan at the beginning, then realized only one could pin the guy and started beating each other. It's so good to watch a match where everything is clearly well planned, they did a lot of combined things, impressive. The mix of this very good combinations with bits of comedy, like the Speed appearance, made the match a great one to watch, it was the first time somebody kicked out the Logan Paul brass knuckles, but he still won - {***3/4}"

[6.0] "We were all anxious to see if AJ Styles would finally wrestle a spectacular WrestleMania match, and although this was good, still wasn't enough. Very simple match, but they managed to execute almost everything well, so the pacing was good and it was easy to watch, very enjoyable, but too common. I can't comprehend what they did to Styles theme song, that thing is horrible - {***1/4}"

[5.0] "Fine plunder match between these two. I was not crazy about the chairshots to the head but otherwise it was solid."

[7.0] "Solid match. Edith and Jamie worked rather well together with a lot of Jamies offense looking crisp. Runways were fine foils for them. Satisfying win for the faces who the crowd were behind. 6.5-7"

[7.0] "A shame that Luke Jacobs was around for WM weekend this year and his only two matches were a battle royal and this match. One of my favorite up and coming talents from Europe and someone who could add to any card. Enjoyable match."

[8.0] "Now that this has happened over a year ago, and sat in my watch list section on my spreadsheet for over a year, I gave this one a watch. And I loathe this match. Not because it's bad, or what it could've been but because of the damage this did to Kiyomiya. It's not only this match's fault, but his poor G1 run, and his booking in NOAH after this has made him into a shell of what he can be. Ironic, because what he can be is the person who demolishes this match. It's charming, because Okada is masterful in portraying his hatred for Kiyomiya, but sells his foes hope spots so well. And of course the ending, with the two rainmakers, Inoki Enzuigiri, and a spinning Emerlad Flowsion to embarrass Kaito. He was never winning this particular match, but he should've gotten some kind of payoff to this, and didn't. So yeah, I hate this match, but it's pretty brilliant at the same time. 4.25 Stars."

[] "This match was my favorite of the night. This was my first time seeing most of these girls. Joseline Navarro is bad assed. She has this scary mix of speed and power and Id like to see more of her. Would definitely love to see her in GCW particularly more. Jada Stone and Maya World also stood out to me as well. Would like to see more from these three. Maybe even have matches against each other."

[10.0] "The real shit. They played up a classic heel vs face match-up & acknowledged the intergender aspect all while having some incredibly thoughtful, subtle and precise grappling. The type of match that left me wanting to watch more. More Aoki vs Hashimoto & more wrestling in general. Gosh this was a lovely way to spend 15 minutes. The few falsies there are feel amazing. There were simple reversals that felt like revelations. A true MOTYC"

[6.0] "Fun match, very random that we got Bully Ray as referee and Snoop Dogg commenting, but it was fun, Bully helped the faces and we got Dudley Boyz moves, huge pop for that, a lot of ECW chants as well. I like the way they handled the table breaking, made us watching feel the human side of the business and then pop after they picked another one and hyped the crowd again - {***}"

[6.0] "Solid match but seemed to fall a little flat. MVP of the match had to be Andrade and my personal favorite spot was the electric chair dual crossbody to the outside. The crowd seemed really into it probably with a little help from the Eagles players who came in for the save at the end. Solid 3 star match."

[5.0] "I strongly recommend this match to anyone who loves seeing finishers teased and finishers get kicked out of. Personally I found it very disappointing. Terrible commentary as well. Happy that that at least kept it short, and I did enjoy Punk on commentary and the post-match shenanigans."

[2.0] "I've reviewed a lot of these matches before, I know what to expect, and I don't really agree with the excuse of people saying you should like this or know it'll be like this because you've watched them previously. I'm not going to give this match a pass or go easy on it because other bloodline matches have been bad and I should expect it to be bad. This is the main event of the biggest wrestling event of the year. This match was awful., It was boring. It was slow. It took like 10m to get going, then did barely anything until the last few minutes, and even then that last few minutes felt like nothing cause I had already been put into a coma from the previous 40 minutes. The brawl in the crowd was nothing. This match was basic, the action was heatless and uninspired. Nobody performed particularly bad, everyone did everything fine but the stuff that was done had no substance to it for me at all. I felt nothing but annoyance and boredom. Only thing that really cracked me up the entire match was Seth selling his knee after taking a spear through the barricade."

[0.0] "What the fuck was this man? Both of these guys are capable of a way better match than this. Slow, boring match. It's like they took away all of their moves and only did superkicks, samoan drops and splashes. It's legit like they forgot how to wrestle and put a match together. No emotional weight, no passion, no in ring quality, the finish was completely dead, nothing felt earned or warranted because there was just nothing in this match to give a shit about. Awful."

[9.0] "Lucha Libre on AEW programming is always a pleasure for the senses. Penta's kicks accompanied by Komander's rope mastery make this an enjoyable match to end the show. Especially because tonight Penta seemed to have something personal against Komander due to the strength of his movements, fantastic"

[7.0] "I don't quite agree or understand the hype around the first half of this match. I guess people were excited Roman didn't have a complete snooze fest for once, and decided to actually be a wrestler. The first half of this was quite slow and boring. It wasn't like atrocious or bad, it was just middle of the road for that first half. It's also especially hard to be invested at all when you know the shenanigans are coming later. However, I'd say around the like 19m mark is where this match picked up for me. We knew the shenanigans were coming and for once they were actually pretty fun. I largely enjoyed the end of this match, the run ins for the most part made sense. Seth being completely geeked out was absolutely hilarious and the hardest i've laughed at a match in a decent time. The Shield spot was a bit overblown and knocked over your head. People will paint it as long term storytelling and nuanced and say it's little details but they absolutely bashed it over your head like they always do and have literally done this exact spot before in previous matches. Nevertheless, my enjoyment wasn't ruined from that because of just how funny Seth was geeked out. The only part that really irked me in the end was the Undertaker which made no sense in the story at all and just felt like overkill or just the wrong guy. It could've easily been someone like Stone Cold who has more of a connection with both The Rock and Cody and would've been a better nostalgia pop at least to me. In the context of the story, Sami would've been a great run in here as well. Both better choices than what we got. I can't shake the feeling that this was all a bit too late and less impactful than if Cody would've just simply won last year, especially considering how bad the Bloodline story specifically has been since then. Especially with how perfect of a moment it was shaping up to be last year with KO and Sami winning the belts the night before. In any case, the ending was a lot of fun and it was a necessary cap to the night."

[9.0] "Even better than their match at NEW the year prior and that match was amazing. This match had a fast start, slowed down once Kenny got in control and then picked up towards the end with some crazy sequences, including that nasty Powerbomb from the top. Since this was in AAA, Kenny worked as a heel against Fenix, who put on a great babyface performance and by the end had the crowd rabid for him to win. Alas, the Cleaner's power game proves too much and he ends up losing his AAA Mega title, which I don't think anyone expected at the time, and with that a new collection starts. ****1/2"

[7.0] "It was a good match, or at least, what we could see of it. The chemistry of all four men leads to a much better fatal 4-way experience than we'd get from Raws of the past. So why am I being bearish on this match? Well, it's the unfortunate confluence of two trends in WWE: The Rock being habitually unable to keep his times like any other wrestler, and - to a lesser scale - the experimentation in production since Kevin Dunn was turfed out. Putting matches in PIP and giving some action rather than the full-commercial rest-hold is to be welcomed, of course, but not to the extent where half of them are behind the curtain, and this really did harm the match in the end. Also, I'm going to be honest, I'm not too enamoured with Jey getting the win. Sure, he's over with the crowd, but after Saturday night, I'd not like to see Jey in such a high-profile singles match for some time. Give Bronson Reed the W, make the Andre mean something, and hey, we can have a "run the clock back" program with Damian to a few years ago to see how the two have grown in the WWE since then."

[7.0] "This disappointed me but I liked this one the more I think about it. Rhea looked dominant throughout with Becky only getting a few flashes of hope. There's room for a rematch here."

[4.0] "I thought this match was really, really bad, didn't like it at all. They did a finisher battle, a concept that I hate, because unprotect every finisher that is done. All the finishers meant nothing, they had no impact at all, which is a shame, I was really disgusted with so many kickouts. On the other hand, the cash-in was fantastic, but doesn't count as the match. Punk did a phenomenal job with every camera angle, and I was really excited for Priest, that moment benefited everybody involved - {**}"

[4.0] "Not good but it's not nearly as bad as people are saying. One of the few matches the crowd actually reacted to on Night 1."

[5.0] "Perfectly middle of the road. They did a few cool things but this match didn't need to be on this show. The feud at least gave it some extra juice but even then, it's just a singles match, which doesn't make sense for the whole home invasion thing they're doing. The match before was the gimmick match for the sake of a bullshit nostalgia pop and they could've instead used a stipulation here on a match that could've used it more based on the story they were trying to do. Instead we get a good ol wrestling match. They brought some fun stuff to this which gets it up to a 5 for me but the majority of this match was just so damn boring."

[8.0] "Easily the best match of the night. Sami gave an all time performance here. I agree they have a better match in them but this was the right one for the moment."

[10.0] "Man, you'd not believe Panther is 63 in this match. Maybe the "don't drink the water" memes from our parents' childhood were Mexico keeping the secret superpowers to themselves, because there's something about lucha that means that at an age a decade past the normal retirement age for a wrestler, you can still put on a terrific clinic. And what a clinic this was. The term "dream match" gets thrown around a lot, but for Danielson, this was one of his dreams, and like many of the matches in Danielson's Bucket List Tour, it was really really good. Magic is created once again, and when you've got two people doing it for the love of the game, you can never go wrong. I'm really looking forward to June; if we're getting Stardom and CMLL thrown into the mix, then forget it as the tag-line for AEW's weekly product: Forbidden Door III is truly going to be where the best of the best wrestle."

[7.0] "Honestly I thought it was pretty good. I may be biased cause I was there live and enjoyed it but I can see where other people are coming from. It's kinda funny seeing people get mad over MJFs selling but I can see past it and just admit it was a good match. I do think it kinda took away from Jay White cause they made him look weak/stupid."

[7.0] "Huge letdown because of the bizarre first half but they did bring it together in the end. Just can't ignore how awkward the atmosphere was. This whole feud had been so hot and then they get in the ring to milk the crowd reaction and the crowd gave them nothing."

[7.0] "Fun indie bullshit between Omega and ACH. The Stone Cold bit was pretty entertaining and the chainsaw was absolutely devastating."

[8.0] "This will go down as just another Opsreay match in 2023, but people are sleeping on this one a bit I feel. Finlay always rises to the occasion against Will, but unlike their previous matches this one didn't overstay its welcome. I even found myself liking the parts with the War Dogs and UE getting involved, and the finishing sequence is great. EDIT: On a rewatch, this is still Opsreay and Finlay's best singles match, but maybe not as special as I though on a first watch, but still real good. 4.25 Stars."

[7.0] "Solid match considering commentary stated that Becky was dealing with flu like symptoms. Rhea was the right person to go over here as her character still seems hot with the crowd. My personal favorite spot was either the arm drag off the top rope or the Riptide into the turnbuckle that led to the finish. Solid 3.5 star match."

[1.0] "The only redeeming thing in this match was BFab hit a pretty sick pump kick on Scarlett, and neither were in the match. Dumb sponsored bullshit with a completely unnecessary Bubba Ray guest ref spot. I don't get why we need to have a Team 3D tribute match in 2024 and with this group of talent. Can we please retire these damn ECW tribute matches for the love of god. Could've booked something way more inspired than this dogshit. especially with a group that could actually be a legitimate upper mid card to main event group of Bobby, Montez and Angelo. Awful, pointless match."

[4.0] "Absolutely bizarre that Authors of Pain and Karrion Kross somehow managed to make it on to the Mania card and not as part of a backstage skit that ends with Ron Simmons saying DAMN. And good for them I guess, they made the most of it. This was absolutely better than it had any right to be."

[3.0] "Toni Storm needs to give the gimmick a rest during her matches. She should be having good matches but having her do gimmicky stuff during them just makes the match bad."

[6.0] "Just a really solid ass match with AJ showing he still absolutely has got it despite coming back from an injury and being juiced to the gills. Probably a good sign for LA Knight's future too in terms of the company thinking he can hang in a big spot."

[8.0] "This match was so much fun. It may not have been the best in-ring wise, but it was really entertaining. From the lemon juice in the open wound to the staple guns to The Sandman coming out in the ECW arena with everyone singing his theme song, it was just a lot of fun. Paul just wants to have fun in wrestling and for people to rate this match on the in-ring quality rather than the pure entertainment factor is just not fun. This match was tons of fun to watch and was a great main event of a very fun show."

[8.0] "This had a lot of humor in it but they sprinkled some real good action throughout it. Logan Paul continues to impress and earned his win."
